2 Safety instructions
!WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death
or serious injury.
Electrocution hazard (only for powered blinds)
Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
If the power cable for this device is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified or compe-
tent person in order to prevent safety hazards.
Inadequate repairs may cause serious hazards.
Disconnect the blind from the power supply before carrying out any
maintenance.
Health hazard
Important safety instructions. It is important for the safety of persons to
follow these instructions. Save these instructions.
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Blinds should be stowed before maneuvering to ensure no restriction
of the driver vision.

Only for powered blinds:
Do not fit powered blinds to escape hatches.
Modification of the design or configuration of the equipment with-
out express permission of the manufacturer may create a danger-
ous situation.
Do not allow children to play with the control device of the internal
blind. Keep remote controls away from children.
Frequently examine the installation for signs of wear or damage to
cables. Do not use if repair is necessary.
Do not operate when maintenance, such as window cleaning, is
being carried out in the vicinity.
Strangulation hazard
Suffocation hazard
This device contains small parts. Keep it away from children under
3years.
The packaging includes plastic bags. Keep them away from children
under 3 years.
!CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or
moderate injury.
Risk of injury
The device must only be installed, removed or repaired by qualified or
competent person using suitable fastening material.
Take reasonable precaution when installing the blind and wear appro-
priate personal protective equipment.
Only for boats and yachts: If the blind is in front of an open window,
then the blind should be stowed when driving at more than 10 knots
or in a sea state of more than moderate, as this can cause damage to
the blind. Parts that come loose may injure persons in the vicinity.
Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains, tapes
and inner cords that operate the product.
To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the
reach of young children. Cords may become wrapped around a
child’s neck.
Move beds, cots and furniture away from window covering cords.
Do not tie cords together. Ensure that cords do not twist and create
a loop.

ANOTICE!
Damage hazard
Blinds should be stowed completely when boat or vehicle is under
way.
Use screws and plugs suitable for the wall construction to fix the blind.
Ensure that you do not drill through the wall.
Ensure that your hands are clean or wear suitable gloves to avoid mark-
ing the fabric.
Only for powered blinds:
Check that the voltage specification on the cable label is the same
as that of the power supply.
Only use cables with a suitable cross-section.

4 Intended use
The blind is suitable for:
Installation in yachts and boats
Installation in caravans and motor homes
The design and size of the blinds are custom-made. The fabric of the blinds is cut to
fit the customer‘s specifications.
The blinds are designed for interior use only and should not be installed in bath-
rooms, wet rooms or other locations with a high level of humidity.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance
with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or
operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating or mainte-
nance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product
resulting from:
Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts
provided by the manufacturer
Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
Use for purposes other than those described in this manual
Dometic reserves the right to change product appearance and product
specifications.

5 Technical description
The blind is available in different operating types:
Manual, free-hanging (FH)
Manual, guide wire (GW)
•Manual, side track (ST)
Powered, free-hanging (FH)
Powered, guide wire (GW)
Powered, side track (ST)
Guide wire models require a fixation of the cords at the opposite side of the head rail
with a hold down option.

6 Installation
6.1 Installing the brackets

NOTE
After delivery, the blind type and the scope of delivery should be
checked according to the order confirmation. The number on the data
plate indicating the blind type is located on the back of the head rail.
WARNING!
To avoid strangulation and entanglement, install the head rail in a dis-
tance of at least 1.5 m from the floor in order to keep it out of the
reach of young children.
Only for manual blinds: Install the operating elements as close to
the head rail as possible and at least 1.5 m from the floor.
Only for powered blinds: Disconnect the power supply before
you begin and ensure that it can not be reconnected until installation
has been completed.
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Important safety instructions. Follow all instructions since incorrect
installation can lead to severe injury.

When installing the brackets, note the following, see fig. 2, page 10 to fig. 4,
page 11):
Observe related technical drawings provided with the order for specific dimen-
sions required, depending on head rail size and restraint type.
When choosing the installation location of the brackets, ensure that the cords
and the tilt wand available for manually operated blinds are not obstructed.
Observe sufficient distance to the window recess. Depending on the model,
there must be enough space to close the bracket.
Ensure that there is sufficient distance from parts of the window so that the blind
can be lowered without obstruction.
Depending on the model, ensure that there is enough room in front of the brack-
ets to be able to access the release clip.
Ensure that the brackets do not sit over the tilt mechanisms inside the head rail.
Ensure that the brackets are close to the edge of head rail for best support.
