Auspacken des Gerätes

1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus seiner Verpackung.

2. Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial, wie Fo-

lien, Füllmaterial, Kabelbinder und Kartonverpackung.

3. Prüfen Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit.

4. Sollte der Verpackungsinhalt unvollständig oder Beschä-

digungen feststellbar sein, nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in

Betrieb. Bringen Sie es umgehend zum Händler zurück.

5. Am Gerät können sich noch Staub oder Produktions-

reste benden. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, das Gerät wie

unter „Reinigung“ beschrieben zu säubern.

Warnhinweise für die

Benutzung des Gerätes

WARNUNG: Verbrennungsgefahr!

• Den Deckel nicht öffnen, während das Wasser kocht.

• Achten Sie stets darauf, dass der Deckel fest ge-

schlossen ist.

• Das Gehäuse wird während des Betriebes heiß, be-

rühren Sie es nicht und lassen Sie das Gerät vor dem

Wegräumen abkühlen.

ACHTUNG: Überlastung!

• Wenn Sie Verlängerungsleitungen benutzen, sollten

diese einen Leitungsquerschnitt von mindestens

1,5 mm² haben.

• Verwenden Sie keine Mehrfachsteckdose, da dieses

Gerät zu leistungsstark ist.

ACHTUNG:

• Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus, bevor Sie es von

der Basis nehmen! Die Kontakte an der Basis sind

ungeeignet, um den Strom zu unterbrechen.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist,

wenn Sie es auf die Basis zurückstellen!

Anwendungshinweise

Netzkabel

Wickeln Sie das benötigte Netzkabel komplett vom

Bodenteil der Basis ab. Achten Sie auf die Führung des

Netzkabels.

Anschlusswert

Insgesamt kann das Gerät eine Leistung von 2200 W

aufnehmen. Bei diesem Anschlusswert empehlt sich eine

getrennte Zuleitung mit einer Absicherung über einen 16 A

Haushaltsschutzschalter.

Elektrischer Anschluss

1. Prüfen Sie, ob die Netzspannung, die Sie benutzen

wollen, mit der des Gerätes übereinstimmt. Die Angaben

hierzu nden Sie auf dem Typenschild der Basis.

2. Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts mäßig

installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose an.

Gerät ein- / ausschalten

• Einschalten:

Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Schalter ein. Die Kont-

rollleuchte leuchtet.

• Ausschalten:

Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Schalter aus. Die Kont-

rollleuchte erlischt.

Vorbereitung

Vor der ersten Verwendung kochen Sie das Gerät 3-mal

mit frischem Wasser aus. Benutzen Sie nur klares Wasser

ohne Zusatzmittel.

Bedienung

1. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene Unterlage.

2. Drücken Sie die Taste am Griff, um den Wasserkocher

zu öffnen.

3. Füllen Sie klares Wasser ein (maximal 1,5 Liter). Sie

können den Füllstand an der Wasserstandanzeige des

Gerätes ablesen.

- Verwenden Sie immer frisches, kaltes Wasser.

- Der Wasserpegel muss zwischen der MIN- und der

MAX-Marke liegen.

4. Schließen Sie den Deckel. Um den Deckel zu schließen,

drücken Sie auf die Berührungsäche. Achten Sie stets

darauf, dass der Deckel fest geschlossen ist.

5. Stellen Sie den Wasserkocher bündig auf die Basis.

6. Schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem Schalter ein. Die Kont-

rollleuchte leuchtet.

Betrieb unterbrechen / beenden

Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten den Kochvorgang zu unterbre-

chen oder zu beenden:

1. Das Gerät schaltet sich nach dem Kochvorgang auto-

matisch aus. Die Kontrollleuchte erlischt.

2. Drücken Sie den Schalter nach oben, um den Kochvor-

gang zu beenden.

- Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus, bevor Sie es von

der Basis nehmen! Die Kontakte an der Basis sind

ungeeignet, um den Strom zu unterbrechen.

- Achten Sie darauf, dass es ausgeschaltet ist, wenn

Sie es auf die Basis zurückstellen!

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

• Entleeren Sie den Wasserbehälter.

- Fassen Sie das Gerät nur am Griff an.

- Halten Sie beim Ausgießen den Deckel geschlossen.

- Öffnen Sie den Deckel nur mit der Taste am Griff.

- Schließen Sie den Deckel nur an der Berührungs-

äche.

• Das Gehäuse wird während des Betriebes heiß, be-

rühren Sie es nicht und lassen Sie das Gerät vor dem

Wegräumen abkühlen.

Reinigung

WARNUNG:

• Schalten Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung immer aus und zie-

hen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose. Warten Sie, bis

das Gerät abgekühlt ist.

• Tauchen Sie weder das Gerät noch die Basis in Wasser oder

andere Flüssigkeiten. Es könnte zu einem elektrischen Schlag

oder Brand führen.

ACHTUNG:

• Benutzen Sie keine Drahtbürste oder andere scheu-

ernde Gegenstände.

• Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder scheuernden

Reinigungsmittel.

• Reinigen Sie die gelochte Fläche der Ausgussöffnung

von innen mit einer Nylonbürste.

• Spülen Sie den Wasserbehälter mit klarem Wasser aus.

Trocknen Sie ihn mit einem Tuch ab.

• Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse nach der Benutzung mit

einem leicht feuchten Tuch.

Entkalkung

• Die Abstände der Entkalkung hängen vom Härtegrad

des Wassers und der Häugkeit der Verwendung ab.

• Schaltet das Gerät aus, bevor das Wasser kocht, ist eine

Entkalkung nötig.

• Benutzen Sie keinen Essig, sondern ein handelsübliches

Entkalkungsmittel auf Zitronensäurebasis. Dosieren Sie

bitte nach Anleitung.

• Kochen Sie nach dem Entkalken mehrfach (ca. 3- bis

4-mal) frisches Wasser auf, um Rückstände zu beseiti-

gen. Dieses Wasser nicht zum Verzehr verwenden.

Aufbewahrung

• Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie beschrieben und lassen Sie

es vollständig trocknen.

• Wir empfehlen, das Gerät in der Original-Verpackung

aufzubewahren, wenn Sie es über einen längeren Zeit-

raum nicht benutzen möchten.

• Lagern Sie das Gerät immer außerhalb der Reichweite

von Kindern an einem gut belüfteten und trockenen Ort.

Aufwickelvorrichtung für Netzkabel

Das Netzkabel können Sie am Bodenteil aufwickeln.

Störungsbehebung

Problem Mögliche Ursache Abhilfe

Das Gerät lässt sich nicht einschalten. Das Gerät hat keine Stromver-

sorgung.

Überprüfen Sie die Steckdose mit

einem anderen Gerät.

Setzen Sie den Netzstecker richtig ein.

Kontrollieren Sie die Haussicherung.

Das Gerät ist defekt. Wenden Sie sich an unseren Service

oder an einen Fachmann.

Nach einem Betrieb ohne oder mit

zu wenig Wasser ist das Gerät noch

nicht ausreichend abgekühlt.

Lassen Sie das Gerät 15 Minuten

abkühlen.

Das Gerät schaltet vor dem Kochen ab. Der Heizboden ist zu stark verkalkt

oder der Stromkreis der Steckdose

überlastet.

Entkalken Sie nach Anweisung.

Überprüfen Sie den Netzanschluss.

Das Gerät schaltet nicht ab. Der Deckel ist nicht geschlossen. Schließen Sie den Deckel bis zum

Einrasten.

Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.

2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, lling

material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.

3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.

4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if

damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance

WARNING: Risk of Burns!

• Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.

• Always make sure that the lid is rmly closed.

• The appliance housing becomes hot during operation,

do not touch it and allow the appliance to cool down

before putting it away.

CAUTION: Overload!

• If you use extension cables, they should have a cable

cross-section of at least 1.5 mm².

• Do not use a multiple socket as this appliance is too

powerful.

CAUTION:

• Always switch off the appliance before removing it

from the base! The contacts on the base are not suita-

ble for disconnecting the power supply.

• Make sure that the appliance is switched off when you

put it back on the base!

Notes for Use

Mains Cable

Unwind the required mains cable completely from the base

part of the base. Please pay attention to the routing of the

mains cable.

Connected Load

In total, the appliance can handle a power of 2200 W. With

this connected load, a separate supply line with a fuse

protection via a 16 A household circuit breaker is recom-

mended.

Electrical Connection

1. Check that the mains voltage you want to use matches

that of the appliance. You will nd the information on the

type plate.

2. Only connect the appliance to a properly installed protec-

tive contact socket.

Switching the Appliance On / Off

• Switch on:

Switch on the appliance with the switch. The control

lamp lights up.

• Switching off:

Switch off the appliance with the switch. The control lamp

goes out.

Preparation

Before using the appliance for the rst time, boil it 3 times

with fresh water. Use only clear water without additives.

Operation

1. Place the appliance on a at surface.

2. Press the button on the handle to open the kettle.

3. Fill in clear water through the ller opening (maximum

1.5 litres). You can read the ll level on the appliance’s

water level indicator.

- Always use fresh, cold water.

- The water level must be between the MIN and MAX

marks.

4. Close the lid. Press down on the contact area to close

the lid. Always make sure that the lid is rmly closed.

5. Place the kettle ush on the base.

6. Switch on the appliance with the switch. The control

lamp lights up.

Interrupting / Ending Operation

There are two ways to interrupt or end the cooking process:

1. The appliance switches off automatically after the cook-

ing process. The control lamp goes out.

2. Press the switch upwards to stop the cooking process.

- Always switch off the appliance before removing

it from the base! The contacts on the base are not

suitable for disconnecting the power supply.

- Make sure that the appliance is switched off when you

put it back on the base!

• Unplug the mains plug from the socket.

• Empty the water container.

- Only hold the appliance by the handle.

- Keep the lid closed when pouring out.

- Open the lid only with the button on the handle.

- Close the lid by only touching the contact area.

• The appliance becomes hot during operation, do not

touch it and allow the appliance to cool down before

putting it away.

Cleaning

WARNING:

• Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug

from the socket before cleaning. Wait until the appliance has

cooled down.

• Do not immerse the appliance or the base in water or other liq-

uids. It could cause an electric shock or re.

CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.

• Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning agents.

• Clean the perforated area of the spout from the inside

with a nylon brush.

• Rinse the water reservoir with clean water. Dry it with a

cloth.

• Clean the housing with a slightly damp cloth after use.

Descaling

• The intervals for descaling depend on the hardness of

the water and the frequency of use.

• If the appliance switches off before the water boils,

descaling is necessary.

• Do not use vinegar, but a commercially available des-

caling agent based on citric acid. Dose according to the

instructions.

• After descaling, boil fresh water several times (approx.

3 to 4 times) to remove residues. Do not use this water

for consumption.

Storage

• Clean the appliance as described and allow it to dry

completely.

• We recommend storing the appliance in its original

packaging if you do not intend to use it for a long period

of time.

• Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in

a well-ventilated and dry place.

Winding Device for Mains Cable

You can wind up the mains cable at the bottom part.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Remedy

The appliance does not

switch on.

The appliance has no power supply. Check the power socket with another appliance.

Insert the mains plug correctly.

Check the house fuse.

The appliance is defective. Contact our service department or a specialist.

After operating without water or with too

little water, the appliance has not yet cooled

down sufciently.

Let the appliance cool down for 15 minutes.

The appliance switches

off before cooking.

The heating base is severely calcied or the

electric circuit of the socket is overloaded.

Descale according to instructions.

Check the mains connection.

The appliance does not

switch off.

The lid is not closed. Close the lid until it clicks into place.

Het apparaat uitpakken

1. Neem het apparaat uit de verpakking.

2. Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal, zoals folies, vul-

materiaal, kabelbinders en kartonnen verpakkingen.

3. Controleer de inhoud van de verpakking op volledigheid.

4. Als de inhoud van de verpakking onvolledig is of als er

beschadigingen kunnen worden vastgesteld, mag u het

apparaat niet in gebruik nemen. Breng het onmiddellijk

terug naar de dealer.

5. Er kunnen zich nog stof- of productieresten op het appa-

raat bevinden. Wij adviseren u het apparaat te reinigen

zoals beschreven onder “Reiniging”.

Waarschuwingen voor het

gebruik van het apparaat

WAARSCHUWING: Gevaar voor verbranding!

• Open het deksel niet terwijl het water kookt.

• Zorg ervoor dat het deksel altijd goed gesloten is.

• De behuizing van het apparaat wordt tijdens het

gebruik heet, raak deze niet aan en laat het apparaat

afkoelen alvorens het op te bergen.

LET OP: Overload!

• Als u verlengkabels gebruikt, moeten deze een ka-

beldoorsnede van ten minste 1,5 mm² hebben.

• Gebruik geen stekkerdoos, want dit apparaat is te

krachtig.

LET OP:

• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u het van de

basis verwijdert! De contactpunten in de basis zijn niet

bedoeld om het apparaat me uit te zetten.

• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat uitgeschakeld is als u het

weer op de sokkel zet!

Opmerkingen voor het gebruik

Netsnoer

Wikkel het benodigde netsnoer volledig uit het basisdeel

van de basis. Let op de geleiding van het netsnoer.

Aangesloten belasting

Het apparaat heeft een totaal vermogen van 2200 W. Bij

deze aangesloten belasting wordt een aparte toevoerleiding

Elektrische aansluiting

1. Controleer of de netspanning die u wilt gebruiken over-

eenkomt met die van het apparaat. U vindt de informatie

op het typeplaatje.

2. Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een correct geïnstal-

leerd veiligheidscontactdoos.

Inschakelen / uitschakelen van het apparaat

• Inschakelen:

Schakel het apparaat in met de schakelaar. Het contro-

lelampje licht op.

• Uitschakelen:

Schakel het apparaat uit met de schakelaar. Het contro-

lelampje gaat uit.

Voorbereiding

Voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, dient

u het 3 keer met vers water te koken. Gebruik alleen helder

water zonder toevoegingen.

Bediening

1. Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke ondergrond.

2. Druk op de toets op het handvat om de waterkoker te

openen.

3. Vul helder water bij via de vulopening (maximaal 1,5

liter

U kunt het vulniveau aezen op de waterpeilindicator van

het apparaat.

- Gebruik altijd vers, koud water.

- Het waterpeil moet tussen de markeringen MIN en

MAX staan.

4. Sluit het deksel. Druk op het aanraakpunt om het deksel

te sluiten. Zorg er altijd voor dat het deksel goed dicht zit.

5. Plaats de waterkoker vlak op de voet.

6. Schakel het apparaat in met de schakelaar. Het contro-

lelampje licht op.

Werking onderbreken / beëindigen

Er zijn twee manieren om het kookproces te onderbreken of

te beëindigen:

1. Het apparaat schakelt na het kookproces automatisch

uit. Het controlelampje gaat uit.

2. Druk de schakelaar omhoog om het kookproces te

stoppen.

- Schakel het apparaat altijd uit voordat u het van de

sokkel neemt! De contactpunten in de basis zijn niet

bedoeld om het apparaat me uit te zetten.

- Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat uitgeschakeld is als u

het weer op de sokkel zet!

• Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact.

• Maak het waterreservoir leeg.

- Pak het apparaat alleen aan de handgreep vast.

- Houd het deksel gesloten tijdens het uitgieten.

- Open het deksel alleen met de toets op het handvat.

- Sluit de deksel alleen door een druk op het aanraak-

gedeelte.

• Het apparaat wordt tijdens het gebruik heet, raak het

niet aan en laat het apparaat afkoelen alvorens het op

te bergen.

Reiniging

WAARSCHUWING:

• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcon-

tact voordat u het gaat schoonmaken. Wacht tot het apparaat is

afgekoeld.

• Dompel het apparaat of de basis niet onder in water of andere

vloeistoffen. Dit kan een elektrische schok of brand veroorzaken.

LET OP:

• Gebruik geen staalborstel of andere schurende

voorwerpen.

• Gebruik geen scherpe of schurende reinigingsmid-

delen.

• Reinig het geperforeerde deel van de tuit vanaf de

binnenkant met een nylon borsteltje.

• Spoel het waterreservoir af met schoon water. Droog het

af met een doek.

• Reinig de behuizing na gebruik met een licht vochtige

doek.

Ontkalken

• De intervallen voor het ontkalken zijn afhankelijk van de

hardheid van het water en de gebruiksfrequentie.

• Als het apparaat uitschakelt voordat het water kookt, is

ontkalken noodzakelijk.

• Gebruik geen azijn, maar een in de handel verkrijgbaar

ontkalkingsmiddel op basis van citroenzuur. Doseer

volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing.

• Na het ontkalken meerdere malen vers water koken

(ong. 3 tot 4 keer) om resten te verwijderen. Gebruik dit

water niet voor consumptie.

Bewaren

• Reinig het apparaat zoals beschreven en laat het volle-

dig drogen.

• Wij raden u aan het apparaat in de originele verpakking

te bewaren als u het langere tijd niet zult gebruiken.

• Bewaar het apparaat altijd buiten het bereik van kinderen

op een goed geventileerde en droge plaats.

Opwikkelapparaat voor netsnoer

U kunt het netsnoer aan het onderste gedeelte oprollen.

AVERTISSEMENT : Risque de brûlures !

• N’ouvrez pas le couvercle lorsque l’eau est en train

de bouillir.

• Assurez-vous toujours que le couvercle est fermement

fermé.

• Le boîtier de l’appareil devient chaud pendant le

fonctionnement, ne le touchez pas et laissez refroidir

l’appareil avant de le ranger.

ATTENTION : Surcharge !

• Si vous utilisez des câbles de rallonge, ils doivent

avoir une section de câble d’au moins 1,5 mm².

• Ne pas utiliser de prise multiple, car cet appareil est

trop puissant.

ATTENTION :

• Éteignez toujours l’appareil avant de le retirer de son

socle ! Les contacts situés sur la base ne permettent

pas de débrancher l’alimentation électrique.

Notes d’utilisation

Câble secteur

Déroulez complètement le câble d’alimentation requis de la

partie inférieure de la base. Veuillez faire attention à l’ache-

minement du câble d’alimentation.

Puissance de raccordement

L’appareil peut absorber une puissance totale de 2200 W.

Avec une telle puissance connectée, il est recommandé

d’utiliser une ligne d’alimentation séparée avec une protec-

tion par un disjoncteur domestique de 16 A.

Raccordement électrique

1. Vériez que la tension du réseau que vous souhaitez

utiliser correspond à celle de l’appareil. Vous trouverez

cette information sur la plaque signalétique.

2. Ne branchez l’appareil qu’à une prise à contact de pro-

tection correctement installée.

Mise en marche et arrêt de l’appareil

• Mettre en marche :

Allumez l’appareil à l’aide de l’interrupteur. Le voyant

lumineux s’allume.

• Mise hors tension :

Éteignez l’appareil à l’aide de l’interrupteur. Le voyant

lumineux s’éteint.

Préparation

Avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois, faites-le

bouillir 3 fois avec de l’eau fraîche. N’utilisez que de l’eau

claire sans additifs.

Utilisation

1. Placez l’appareil sur une surface plane.

2. Appuyez sur le bouton de la poignée pour ouvrir la

bouilloire.

3. Remplissez d’eau claire par l’orice de remplissage

(1,5 litres maximum). Vous pouvez lire le niveau de rem-

plissage sur l’indicateur de niveau d’eau de l’appareil.

- Utilisez toujours de l’eau fraîche et froide.

- Le niveau d’eau doit se situer entre les repères MIN

et MAX.

4. Fermez le couvercle. Appuyez sur la zone de contact

pour fermer le couvercle. Veillez toujours à ce que le

couvercle soit bien fermé.

5. Placez la bouilloire à eur sur le socle.

6. Mettez l’appareil en marche à l’aide de l’interrupteur. Le

voyant lumineux s’allume.

Interruption / Fin de l’opération

Il existe deux façons d’interrompre ou de terminer le proces-

sus de cuisson :

1. L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement après le processus

de cuisson. Le voyant de contrôle s’éteint.

2. Appuyez sur l’interrupteur vers le haut pour arrêter le

processus de cuisson.

- Éteignez toujours l’appareil avant de le retirer de la

base ! Les contacts situés sur la base ne permettent

pas de débrancher l’alimentation électrique.

- Assurez-vous que l’appareil est éteint lorsque vous le

remettez sur la base !

• Débranchez la che secteur de la prise de courant.

• Videz le réservoir d’eau.

- Tenez l’appareil uniquement par la poignée.

- Gardez le couvercle fermé lorsque vous versez l’eau.

- Ouvrez le couvercle uniquement avec le bouton situé

sur la poignée.

- Fermez le couvercle en ne touchant que la surface

de contact.

• L’appareil devient chaud pendant son fonctionnement,

ne le touchez pas et laissez-le refroidir avant de le

ranger.

Nettoyage

AVERTISSEMENT :

• Avant de nettoyer, éteignez toujours l’appareil et débranchez la

che secteur de la prise. Attendez que l’appareil ait refroidi.

• Ne plongez pas l’appareil ou sa base dans l’eau ou dans

d’autres liquides. Cela pourrait provoquer un choc électrique ou

un incendie.

ATTENTION :

• N’utilisez pas de brosse métallique ou d’autres objets

abrasifs.

• N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage tranchants ou

abrasifs.

• Nettoyez la surface perforée du bec verseur de l’intérieur

avec une brosse en nylon.

• Rincez le réservoir d’eau à l’eau claire. Séchez-le avec

un chiffon.

• Nettoyez le boîtier avec un chiffon légèrement humide

après utilisation.

Détartrage

• Les intervalles de détartrage dépendent de la dureté de

l’eau et de la fréquence d’utilisation.

• Si l’appareil s’éteint avant que l’eau ne bout, un dé-

tartrage est nécessaire.

• N’utilisez pas de vinaigre, mais un détartrant à base

d’acide citrique disponible dans le commerce. Doser

selon les instructions.

• Après le détartrage, faites bouillir de l’eau fraîche plu-

sieurs fois (environ 3 à 4 fois) pour éliminer les résidus.

Ne pas utiliser cette eau pour la consommation.

Stockage

• Nettoyez l’appareil comme indiqué et laissez-le sécher

complètement.

• Nous vous recommandons de ranger l’appareil dans

son emballage d’origine si vous n’avez pas l’intention de

l’utiliser pendant une longue période.

• Rangez toujours l’appareil hors de portée des enfants,

dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé.

Desembalaje del aparato

1. Saque el aparato de su embalaje.

Advertencias para el uso del aparato

AVISO: ¡Riesgo de quemaduras!

• No abra la tapa mientras el agua esté hirviendo.

• Asegúrese siempre de que la tapa esté bien cerrada.

• La carcasa del aparato se calienta durante el funcio-

namiento, no la toque y deje que el aparato se enfríe

antes de guardarlo.

ATENCIÓN: ¡Sobrecarga!

• Si utiliza cables alargadores, deben tener una sección

de cable de al menos 1,5 mm².

• No utilice una toma de corriente múltiple, ya que este

aparato es demasiado potente.

ATENCIÓN:

• ¡Apague siempre el aparato antes de retirarlo de la

Carga conectada

En total, el aparato puede manejar una potencia de 2200 W.

Con esta carga conectada, se recomienda una línea de ali-

mentación separada con una protección por fusible a través

de un disyuntor doméstico de 16 A.

Conexión eléctrica

1. Compruebe que la tensión de red que desea utilizar

coincide con la del aparato. Encontrará la información en

la placa de características.

2. Conecte el aparato únicamente a una toma de contacto

de protección correctamente instalada.

Encendido y apagado del aparato

• Conectar:

Conecte el aparato con el interruptor. El piloto de control

se enciende.

• Apagado:

Apague el aparato con el interruptor. El piloto de control

se apaga.

Preparación

Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, hiérvalo 3 ve-

ces con agua fresca. Utilice sólo agua clara sin aditivos.

Manejo

1. Coloque el aparato en una supercie plana.

2. Pulse el botón del asa para abrir la tetera.

3. Rellene con agua limpia a través de la abertura de lle-

nado (máximo 1,5 litros). Puede leer el nivel de llenado

en el indicador de nivel de agua del aparato.

- Utilice siempre agua fresca y fría.

- El nivel de agua debe estar entre las marcas MIN y

MAX.

4. Cierra la tapa. Presione la zona de contacto para cerrar

la tapa. Asegúrese siempre de que la tapa esté bien

cerrada.

5. Coloque el hervidor a ras de la base.

6. Encienda el aparato con el interruptor. El piloto de

control se enciende.

Interrupción / Finalización del funcionamiento

Existen dos formas de interrumpir o nalizar el proceso de

cocción:

1. El aparato se apaga automáticamente después del

proceso de cocción. El piloto de control se apaga.

2. Pulse el interruptor hacia arriba para detener el proceso

de cocción.

- ¡Apague siempre el aparato antes de retirarlo de la

base! Los contactos de la base no son adecuados

para desconectar la alimentación.

- ¡Asegúrese de que el aparato esté apagado cuando

lo vuelva a colocar en la base!

• Desenchufe la clavija de la toma de corriente.

• Vacíe el recipiente de agua.

- Sujete el aparato sólo por el asa.

- Mantenga la tapa cerrada al verter.

- Abra la tapa sólo con el botón del mango.

- Cierre la tapa exclusivamente tocando la zona de

contacto.

• El aparato se calienta durante su funcionamiento, no lo

toque y deje que se enfríe antes de guardarlo.

Limpieza

AVISO:

• Apague siempre el aparato y desconecte el enchufe de la toma

de corriente antes de limpiarlo. Espere a que el aparato se haya

enfriado.

• No sumerja el aparato o la base en agua u otros líquidos. Po-

dría provocar una descarga eléctrica o un incendio.

ATENCIÓN:

• No utilice un cepillo de alambre u otros objetos

abrasivos.

• No utilice productos de limpieza alados o abrasivos.

• Limpie la zona perforada de la abertura de vaciado

desde el interior con un cepillo de nailón.

• Enjuague el depósito de agua con agua limpia. Séquelo

con un paño.

• Limpie la carcasa con un paño ligeramente húmedo

después de usarla.

Descalcicación

• Los intervalos de descalcicación dependen de la du-

reza del agua y de la frecuencia de uso.

• Si el aparato se apaga antes de que el agua hierva, es

necesario descalcicar.

• No utilice vinagre, sino un descalcicador comercial a

base de ácido cítrico. Dosique según las instrucciones.

• Después de la descalcicación, hierva el agua fresca

varias veces (aprox. 3 a 4 veces) para eliminar los resi-

duos. No utilice esta agua para el consumo.

Almacenamiento

• Limpie el aparato como se describe y déjelo secar

completamente.

• Le recomendamos que guarde el aparato en su emba-

laje original si no va a utilizarlo durante un largo periodo

de tiempo.

• Guarde siempre el aparato fuera del alcance de los

niños en un lugar bien ventilado y seco.

Deje que el aparato se enfríe durante 15 minutos.

seriamente o el circuito eléctrico de la

toma está sobrecargado.

Descalcique según las instrucciones.

Compruebe la conexión a la red eléctrica.

El aparato no se apaga. La tapa no está cerrada. Cierre la tapa hasta que encaje.
