Im Brandfall darf sich das Feuer in Gebäuden nicht ausbreiten. Die Brandschutzverordnungen schreiben
deshalb sogenannte Feuerschutzabschlüsse vor. Dazu zählen Feuerschutztüren, -tore und -klappen, die
normalerweise dauerhaft geschlossen sind. Damit solche Türen bei stark frequentierten Durchgängen oder
Durchfahrten ausnahmsweise stets geöffnet sein dürfen, muss bei Feuer der Selbstschließmechanismus
automatisch ausgelöst werden. Allerdings darf die Tür nicht in dem Moment zufallen, wenn sich gerade Per-
sonen oder Gegenstände im Schließbereich befinden. Der Gesetzgeber fordert daher die Überwachung mit
entsprechenden Sicherheitseinrichtungen. Die technische Herausforderung besteht darin, die eventuelle
Rauchentwicklung zu ignorieren und gleichzeitig Objekte im Rauch sicher zu erfassen. Diese Funktion kön-
nen diese zertifizierten Lichtschranken übernehmen.
Montage und Ausrichtung:
Für eine sichere Befestigung der Lichtschranke sind im Gehäuse zwei Durchgangsbohrun-
gen für M5-Schrauben vorhanden. Auf Wunsch ist auch ein Einstell-Haltewinkel als Zubehör
lieferbar. Der Haltewinkel macht ein einfaches Justieren der Sensoren in einem Neigungs-
winkel bis 10° in vertikaler und horizontaler Richtung möglich.
Bestellbezeichnung Haltewinkel: OMH-21
Die Ausrichtung der Geräte erfolgt in zwei Schritten:
1. Grobausrichtung:
Der Sensor wird auf den Reflektor so ausgerichtet, dass der sichtbare Lichtfleck mittig auf
dem Reflektor liegt und die gelbe Anzeige-LED statisch leuchtet.
2. Feinjustage:
Zur Feinausrichtung wird die mitgelieferte Ausrichtblende auf das Gerät gesetzt. Wird die
Blende nach statischen Aufleuchten der gelben Funktionsanzeige-LED wieder entfernt, ist
eine optimale Ausrichtung sichergestellt.
Wartung:
Bei der vorgeschriebenen Wartung an Sicherheitseinrichtungen muss die Ausrichtung der Lichtschranke regelmäßig mit
Hilfe der Ausrichtblende überprüft werden. Es empfiehlt sich, die Optikfläche in regelmäßigen Abständen zu reinigen.
Einstellung der Zeitfunktionen
Die gewünschte Zeitfunktion ist über die DIP-Schalter einstellbar

Two through holes for M5 screws are provided in the housing to safely attach the light barrier.
Upon request an adjustable angular attachment bracket is also available as accessory. The
angular attachment bracket enables the easy adjustment of the sensors with a tilt angle of up
to 10° in vertical and horizontal direction.

Aligning the devices involves two steps:
1. Rough alignment:
The sensor is aligned with the reflector in such a way that the visible light dot is centered on
the reflector and the yellow display LED is permanently on.
2. Fine adjustment:
For the fine adjustment the alignment screen supplied is placed onto the device. After remo-
ving the screen with the yellow functional LED illuminated permanently, the optimum align-
ment has been ensured
Maintenance:
During the prescribed maintenance of the safety devices the alignment of the light barrier must be regularly checked using
the alignment screen. It is recommended to clean the optical surfaces at regular intervals.

Montaje y alineación:
Para una fijación segura de la barrera de luz existen en la carcasa dos orificios de paso para
tornillos M5. Si se desea se puede suministra como accesorio una escuadra de sujeción y
regulación. La escuadra de sujeción permite una regulación sencilla de los sensores en un
ángulo de inclinación hasta 10° en sentido vertical y horizontal.
Denominación de pedido de la escuadra de sujeción: OMH-21
La alineación de los aparatos se realiza en dos fases:
1. Alineación inicial:
El sensor se alinea con el reflector de modo que el punto de luz visible está centrado en el
reflector y el LED indicador amarillo está encendido de forma permanente.
2. Regulación fina:
Para una regulación fina se coloca el embellecedor de alineación suministrado sobre el
aparato.
3. Si se retira el embellecedor después del encendido permanente del LED indicador de funcionamiento amarillo, se ase-
gura una alineación óptima.
Mantenimiento:
En el mantenimiento prescrito de los dispositivos de seguridad, debe comprobarse a intervalos regulares la alineación de
la barrera de luz con la ayuda del embellecedor de alineación. Se recomienda limpiar a intervalos regulares la superficie
óptica.
Ajuste de las funciones de tiempo
La función de tiempo deseada se puede ajustar a través del interruptor DIP

L'allineamento dell'apparecchio si effettua in due fasi:
1. Allineamento di massima:
Il sensore viene allineato sul riflettore in modo tale che lo spot di luce visibile si trovi al centro
sul riflettore ed il LED giallo sia acceso fisso.
2. Regolazione fine:
Per la regolazione fine viene impostato sull'apparecchio il diaframma di regolazione.
3. Se il diaframma viene tolto di nuovo dopo che il LED giallo si è acceso fisso, viene assicura-
to un allineamento ottimale.
Manutenzione:
Durante la manutenzione prescritta sui dispositivi di sicurezza è necessario controllare regolarmente l'allineamento della
barriera ottica con l'ausilio del diaframma di allineamento. Si consiglia di pulire la superficie ottica a intervalli regolari.
