2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheit

Betrieb nehmen.
Wenn das Anschlusskabel dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss es durch
den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person
ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Reparaturen an diesem Gerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt
werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren
entstehen.
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Personen
mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt

ACHTUNG!
Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild mit der vorhan-
denen Energieversorgung.
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur mit dem DC-Anschlusskabel an die DC-Bord-
steckdose (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder) im Fahrzeug an.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steckdose.
Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der Batterie ab,
bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen.
Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie das Kühlgerät aus, wenn Sie
den Motor ausschalten. Sonst kann die Batterie entladen werden.

Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und Stecker
trocken sind.

Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder anderen
Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.) ab.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt werden.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser.
Schützen Sie das Gerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht auf heißen Oberflächen.
Füllen Sie die Flüssigkeiten, die Sie kühlen oder erwärmen möchten,
nicht direkt in das Gerät. Stellen Sie das Getränk stattdessen in seiner Ver-
packung in das Gerät.

5 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch

Das Gerät dient dazu, im Fahrzeug Getränke in geeigneten Behältern abzukühlen oder
zu erwärmen bzw. kühl oder warm zu halten.
Das Gerät ist ausgelegt für Standard-Flaschen: PET (Polyethylenterephthalat) und Glas.

6 Technische Beschreibung
Der Thermoelektrische Flaschenkühler MyFridge MF1F ist ein kompaktes Kühlgerät, das
auch für den mobilen Einsatz geeignet ist. Es kann Getränke bis etwa 22 °C unter die
Raumtemperatur abkühlen oder auf etwa 60 °C erwärmen.
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleißfreie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch einen Lüfter.
7 Flaschenkühler montieren
!
Wenn Sie den Flaschenkühler mit einer Blechschraube montieren möchten
➤ Bohren Sie an dem ausgewählten Montageort ein Loch.
Achten Sie beim Bohren auf ausreichenden Freiraum für den Bohreraustritt, um
Schäden zu vermeiden.
➤ Entgraten Sie das Bohrloch.
➤ Schrauben Sie die Blechschraube (Abb. 2 2, Seite 3) durch die Öffnung am Boden
des Behälters.
Wenn Sie den Flaschenkühler mit einer Maschinenschraube befestigen möchten
➤ Bohren Sie an dem ausgewählten Montageort ein Loch.
Achten Sie beim Bohren auf ausreichenden Freiraum für den Bohreraustritt, um
Schäden zu vermeiden.
➤ Führen Sie die Maschinenschraube (Abb. 2 3, Seite 3) durch die Öffnung am Boden
des Behälters und befestigen den Flaschenkühler mit beiden Unterlegscheiben
(Abb. 2 4, Seite 3) und Mutter (Abb. 2 5, Seite 3).
Wenn Sie den Flaschenkühler nicht fest verschrauben möchten
➤ Wenn Sie den Flaschenkühler nicht fest montieren möchten, setzen Sie den
Blindstopfen (Abb. 2 1, Seite 3) in die Öffnung am Boden des Behälters ein.
WARNUNG!
Wählen Sie den Montageort so aus, dass Fahrzeuginsassen unter keinen
Umständen verletzt werden können.
Achten Sie bei der Montage des Geräts darauf, dass die Funktion der
Airbags nicht behindert wird.
Befestigen Sie das Gerät nicht im Kopfaufschlagbereich der Insassen.
Befestigen Sie das Gerät so, dass Flaschen nicht in den Pedalbereich rollen
können.

8 Bedienung

8.1 Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
➤ Reinigen Sie das Gerät aus hygienischen Gründen (Kapitel „Reinigung und Pflege“
auf Seite 10).
8.2 Getränke kühlen
A
➤ Wenn Sie Getränke kühlen möchten, schließen Sie das Gerät an einer Stromquelle
an und drücken Sie die Taste „Cold“ (Abb. 3 1, Seite 4).
✓ Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet, und das Gerät beginnt zu kühlen.
➤ Wenn Sie den Kühlvorgang beenden möchten, drücken Sie die Taste „Off“
(Abb. 3 2, Seite 4).
➤ Wenn Sie das Gerät außer Betrieb nehmen, ziehen Sie das Anschlusskabel ab.
8.3 Getränke erwärmen
A
➤ Wenn Sie Getränke erwärmen möchten, schließen Sie das Gerät an einer Strom-
quelle an und drücken Sie die Taste „Heat“ (Abb. 3 3, Seite 4).
✓ Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet, und das Gerät beginnt zu heizen.
✓ Das Gerät beendet den Erwärmvorgang automatisch, wenn das Getränk auf etwa
60 °C erwärmt wurde. Dadurch wird eine Überhitzung des Gerätes verhindert.
Es wärmt das Getränk wieder auf, wenn die Temperatur gesunken ist.
➤ Wenn Sie den Erwärmvorgang beenden möchten, drücken Sie die Taste „Off“.
➤ Wenn Sie das Gerät außer Betrieb nehmen, ziehen Sie das Anschlusskabel ab.
HINWEIS
Bei einer Störung des Geräts (z. B. durch eine elektrostatische Entladung)
drücken Sie eine der Funktionstasten, damit das Gerät wieder normal funktio-
niert.
ACHTUNG!
Das Gerät schaltet beim Kühlen nicht automatisch ab. Da das Gerät Getränke
bis zu 22 °C unter der Umgebungstemperatur abkühlt, können die Getränke
gefrieren. Achten Sie bei Glasbehältern deshalb darauf, dass diese nicht zu
stark abkühlen, damit sie nicht zerstört werden.
ACHTUNG!
Öffnen Sie die Getränkeflasche unbedingt vor dem Erwärmen. Das Getränk
dehnt sich während des Erwärmens aus und kann die Flasche zerstören, wenn
sie nicht geöffnet ist.

➤ Reinigen Sie das Gerät innen und außen gelegentlich mit einem feuchten Tuch.
➤ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen des Geräts frei von Staub
und Verunreinigungen sind, damit die beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme abgeführt
werden kann und das Gerät keinen Schaden nimmt.
10 Gewährleistung
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein, wenden Sie
sich bitte an die Niederlassung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land (Adressen siehe Rückseite
der Anleitung) oder an Ihren Fachhändler.
Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende Unterlagen mit-
schicken:
eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.
11 Entsorgung
➤ Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial möglichst in den entsprechenden Recycling-
Müll.

Wenn Sie das Produkt endgültig außer Betrieb nehmen, informieren Sie sich
bitte beim nächsten Recyclingcenter oder bei Ihrem Fachhändler über die
zutreffenden Entsorgungsvorschriften.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie das Kühlgerät an den Zigarettenanzünder Ihres Fahrzeugs
anschließen, beachten Sie, dass Sie ggf. die Zündung einschalten müssen,
damit das Gerät mit Strom versorgt wird.
WARNUNG!
Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege das Gerät vom Netz.
ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie das Kühlgerät niemals unter fließendem Wasser oder gar im
Spülwasser.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel oder harten
Gegenstände, da diese das Kühlgerät beschädigen können.

2.1 General safety

If this device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, customer service or a similarly qualified person in order to prevent
safety hazards.
This device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs
can lead to considerable hazards.
This device can be used by children aged 8 years or over, as well as by per-
sons with diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of expe-
rience and/or knowledge, providing they are supervised or have been taught
how to use the device safely and are aware of the resulting risks.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without
supervision.
Children must not play with the device.

Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
Never immerse the device in water.
Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
Only operate the device when you or another person can attend to it.
Do not operate the device on hot surfaces.
Do not fill the liquid which you wish to cool directly into the device. Instead,
put the vessel containing the drink in the appliance.

The MyFridge thermoelectric bottle cooler MF1F is a compact cooler designed for mobile
use. It can cool drinks to around 22 °C under room temperature or warm them to around

7 Installing the bottle cooler
!
If you want to fasten the bottle cooler with a self-tapping screw
➤ Drill a hole where you want to fasten the appliance.
To prevent damage when drilling make sure there is sufficient space on the other side
for the drill head to come out.
➤ Deburr the hole.
➤ Screw the self-tapping screw (fig. 2 2, page 3) through the opening in the bottom of
the container.
If you want to fasten the bottle cooler with a machine bolt
➤ Drill a hole where you want to fasten the appliance.
To prevent damage when drilling make sure there is sufficient space on the other side
for the drill head to come out.
➤ Push the machine bolt (fig. 2 3, page 3) through the opening in the bottom of the
container and fasten the bottle cooler with both washers (fig. 2 4, page 3) and the
nut (fig. 2 5, page 3).
If you do not want to permanently fasten the bottle cooler
➤ If you do not want to permanently fasten the bottle cooler, put the dummy plug
(fig. 2 1, page 3) in the opening on the bottom of the container.
WARNING!
When selecting the location for installing the appliance, ensure that
passengers cannot be injured under any circumstances.
When installing the appliance, make sure the airbag function is not impaired.
Do not attach the appliance in an area where passengers could knock their
heads against it.
Attach the device so that the bottles cannot roll into the footwell.

8 Operation

8.1 Before initial use
➤ Clean the device for reasons of hygiene (chapter “Cleaning and care” on page 17).
8.2 Cooling drinks
A
➤ If you want to cool drinks, connect the device to a power source and press the “Cold”
button (fig. 3 1, page 4).
✓ The operating display lights up and the device begins cooling.
➤ If you wish to end cooling, press the “Off” button (fig. 3 2, page 4).
➤ To switch off the device, pull out the connecting cable.
8.3 Heating drinks

➤ If you want to heat drinks, connect the device to a power source and press the “Heat”
button (fig. 3 3, page 4).
✓ The operating display lights up and the device begins heating.
✓ The device stops heating automatically when the drink has been heated to a temper-
ature of around 60 °C . This prevents the device from overheating.
It warms the drink again if the temperature falls.
➤ To end heating, press the “Off” button.
➤ To switch off the device, pull out the connecting cable.
8.4 Connecting to the cigarette lighter

NOTE
If there is a fault with the device (e.g. due to electrostatic discharging), press
one of the function buttons so that the device works normally again.
NOTICE!
The device does not switch off automatically when cooling. Because the device
cools drinks up to 22 °C below the ambient temperature, the drinks can freeze.
When using glass containers, ensure that they are not cooled for too long as
otherwise the liquid will freeze and the glass will break.
NOTICE!
You must open the drinks bottle before heating. The drink expands as it heats
and can burst the bottle if it is not open.
NOTE
If you connect the cooler to the cigarette lighter, remember that the ignition
must be turned on to supply it with power.

9 Cleaning and care

➤ Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
➤ Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any dust and dirt,
so that heat can be released and the device is not damaged.
10 Guarantee
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the
addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when you
send in the device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for the claim or description of the fault

➤ Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever
possible.

If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling centre or
specialist dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the appli-
cable disposal regulations.
WARNING!
Always disconnect the device from the mains before you clean and service it.
NOTICE! Risk of damage
Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as
these can damage the cooler.

2 Consignes de sécurité

Si l’appareil présente des dégâts visibles, vous ne devez pas le mettre en ser-
vice.
Si le câble de raccordement de l’appareil est endommagé, il doit être rem-
placé par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou une personne de qualifica-
tion similaire, afin d’éviter tout danger.
Seul un personnel qualifié est habilité à effectuer des réparations sur l’appa-
reil. Toute réparation mal effectuée risque d’entraîner de graves dangers.
Les enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus ainsi que les personnes ayant des défi-
ciences physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou un manque d'expérience ou
de connaissances peuvent utiliser ce produit à condition d'être sous surveil-
lance ou d'avoir reçu des instructions concernant l'utilisation de l'appareil en

Débranchez de la batterie la glacière et les autres consommateurs d’énergie
avant de raccorder un chargeur rapide.
Débranchez ou éteignez la glacière lorsque vous éteignez le moteur. Dans le
cas contraire, il se pourrait que la batterie se décharge.
