Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Lindy 2 Port HDMI 18G Bi-Directional Switch. This product
has been designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a
LINDY 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please
read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
This bi-directional HDMI switch allows the user to connect two 4K Ultra HD source devices
into a single 4K Ultra HD display or projector, then easily switch between them at the push
of a button. Alternatively, plug in one 4K Ultra HD source and two 4K Ultra HD displays or
projectors and switch between either output.

Installation
When using 1 source device and 2 displays, ensure all cables from source and display
devices are connected to the Lindy 18G HDMI Bi-Directional switch before powering on
any devices. First, power on your source device, then power on your displays. Use the
switch to select your desired channel.
When using 2 source devices and 1 display, simply repeat the steps above, taking care
to power on source devices before powering on your display device.
The following diagrams illustrate each configuration.
Configuration A shows one source device and two displays connected to the switch. The
switch then allows the user to easily alternate output between display 1 or display 2.
Configuration B shows two source devices and one display connected to the switch. The
switch then allows the user to alternate between which source device is used to output to
the display.

Dieser bidirektionale HDMI Switch erlaubt den Anschluss von zwei 4K Ultra HD
Quellgeräten an ein 4K Ultra HD Display oder einen Projektor. Durch Tastendruck kann
dann einfach zwischen beiden Quellgeräten umgeschaltet werden. Alternativ kann eine
4K Ultra HD-Quelle und zwei 4K Ultra HD Displays oder Projektoren angeschlossen und
zwischen beiden Ausgängen umgeschaltet werden.

Installation
Wenn Sie ein Quellgerät und zwei Displays anschließen, achten Sie darauf, dass alle
Kabel der Quelle und der Displays mit dem bidirektionalen Lindy 18G HDMI Switch
verbunden sind, ehe sie die Geräte einschalten. Schalten Sie zuerst das Quellgerät ein
und dann die zwei Displays. Mit dem Switch wählen Sie den gewünschten Kanal aus.
Wenn Sie zwei 2 Quellgeräte und ein Display verwenden, wiederholen Sie einfach die
Schritte oben. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie zuerst die Quellgeräte einschalten und dann
das Display.
Die folgenden Diagramme zeigen jede Konfiguration.
Konfiguration A zeigt ein Quellgerät und zwei Displays, die mit dem Switch verbunden
sind. Der Switch erlaubt dem Nutzer zwischen den beiden Displays umzuschalten.
Konfiguration B zeigt zwei Quellgeräte und ein Display, die mit dem Switch verbunden

Installation
Lorsque 1 source et 2 affichages sont utilisés, assurez-vous que tous les câbles source
et écrans sont connectés au switch bidirectionnel HDMI 18G de LINDT avant de mettre
les appareils sous tension. Démarrez la source en premier, puis les affichages. Utilisez le
bouton pour sélectionner le canal désiré.
Lorsque 2 sources et 1 affichage sont utilisés, répétez les étapes ci-dessus, en vous
assurant de démarrer les sources avant de mettre l’affichage sous tension.
Les schémas suivant illustrent chacune des configurations.
La configuration A indique une source et deux écrans connectés au switch. Le switch
permet ensuite à l’utilisateur de commuter entre un écran et l’autre (display 1 ou display
2).
La configuration B indique deux sources et un affichage connectés au switch. Le switch
permet ensuite à l’utilisateur de choisir quelle source sera affichée à l’écran.

Questo switch HDMI bidirezionale consente all’utente di connettere due sorgenti 4K Ultra
HD ad uno schermo 4K Ultra HD e poi commutare facilmente tra di esse premendo un
pulsante. In alternatica è possibile collegare una sorgente 4K Ultra HD e due schermi o
proiettori 4K Ultra HD commutando poi il segnale in ingresso su uno dei due allo stesso
modo.

Installazione
Quando utilizzate 1 sorgente e 2 schermi, assicuratevi che tutti i cavi dalla sorgente e
dagli schermi vengano collegati prima di accendere qualsiasi dispositivo. Dopo aver
concluso i collegamenti accendete per prima la sorgente e poi gli schermi. Utilizzate il
pulsante per selezionare il canale desiderato.
Quando utilizzate 2 sorgenti e 1 schermo, ripetete i passi descritti sopra avendo cura di
accedere le sorgenti prima dello schermo.
Il seguente diagramma illustra entrambe le configurazioni:
La Configurazione A mostra una sorgente e due schermi connessi allo switch. Lo switch
consente quindi di selezionare se inviare il segnale in ingresso allo schermo 1 o al 2.
La Configurazione B mostra due sorgenti connesse ad un singolo schermo tramite lo
switch che permetterà così di selezionare quale sorgente visualizzare sullo schermo.
