BEFORE YOU START
Your Bluetooth device (cellphone, MP3 player, etc.) must support the HSP, HFP, A2DP and
AVRCP Bluetooth profiles (commonly known as hands free and stereo audio profiles) to work
with the iHome iA100. Please refer to your Bluetooth device’s user manual for details on the
Bluetooth profiles it supports and on how to set the device’s Bluetooth pairing/searching mode.
ABOUT PAIRING
Pairing is the term used when wirelessly connecting two Bluetooth devices for the first time.
This allows the devices to “see” each other and creates a unique lasting connection between
the specific devices.
PAIRING & LINKING YOUR BLUETOOTH DEVICE WITH THE iA100
1) Make sure your Bluetooth device is fully charged.
2) Power Up your Bluetooth device and connect your iA100 to the AC adaptor.
3) Turn on Bluetooth functionality on your Bluetooth device. Typically, Bluetooth controls are
found on the device’s tools or settings menu (see your user manual). Turn on Bluetooth
connectivity/make your device “discoverable”.
4) To put the iA100 in pairing mode, press the Pairing button located on the back of the unit.
The Bluetooth icon and “pairing” icon on the iA100 will flash.
5) Choose “add a new Bluetooth device” on your device. It will start to search. If the pairing
attempt fails or times out, press the Pairing button on the iA100 to restart the process, and
repeat “add a new Bluetooth device” on your Bluetooth device.
6) After your device and the iA100 have discovered each other, a “Pairing Successful” or
similar message should appear on your device and the Bluetooth icon on the iA100 should
stop flashing, followed by a confirmation beep. If your device prompts you for a pass code,
please enter “1234”.
7) Pairing remains intact when the iA100 and/or the Bluetooth device is powered off or is taken
out of link range (30 feet). The iA100 supports auto-linking and will automatically
re-establish an active connection when your Bluetooth device returns within range.
8) The iA100 will automatically try to re-establish a link with the most recently linked Bluetooth
device. If your device does not support auto-linking OR was not the last linked to the iA100,
you must re-link manually by selecting iA100 from the Bluetooth device’s menu on your
Bluetooth device.

AVANT DE COMMENCER
Votre appareil Bluetooth (téléphone portable, lecteur MP3, etc) doit supporter les profils
Bluetooth HSP, HFP, A2DP et AVRCP (communément appelés profils «mains libres » et profils
« audio stéréo ») pour fonctionner avec les iA100 iHome. Merci de vous se référer au manuel
utilisateur de votre périphérique Bluetooth pour plus de détails sur les profils Bluetooth qu’il
prend en charge et sur la façon de régler l’appareil Bluetooth en mode appairage/recherche.
CONCERNANT L’APPAIRAGE
L’appairage est le terme utilisé quand vous connectez deux appareils Bluetooth pour la
première fois. Cela permet aux appareils Bluetooth de se « voir » l’un l’autre et de créer une
connexion unique et durable entre ces deux appareils spécifiques.
APPAIRER ET LIER VOTRE APPAREIL BLUETOOTH AVEC L’iA100
1) Vérifiez que votre appareil Bluetooth est pleinement chargé.
2) Allumez votre appareil Bluetooth et connectez-votre iA100 sur l’adaptateur secteur.
3) Activez la fonction Bluetooth sur votre appareil Bluetooth. En général, les contrôles
Bluetooth se trouvent dans les menus outils ou réglages de l’appareil (référez-vous à votre
manuel). Activez la connexion Bluetooth/mettez votre appareil en mode « visible ».
4) Pour mettre l’iA100 en mode appairage, pressez le bouton Appairage situé à l’arrière de
l’appareil. Les icônes Bluetooth et « appairage » de l’iA100 clignoteront.
5) Sélectionnez « ajouter un nouveau périphérique Bluetooth » sur votre appareil. La
recherche commencera. Si l’appairage ne fonctionne pas ou prend trop de temps, pressez
le bouton Appairage sur l’iA100 pour redémarrer le processus, et relancez« ajouter
nouveau périphérique Bluetooth » sur votre appareil.
6) Après que votre appareil et l’iA100 se soient découverts l’un l’autre, « Appairage réussi » ou
un message similaire apparaitra sur votre appareil et l’icône Bluetooth sur l‘iA100 arrêtera
de clignoter, suivit par un bip de confirmation. Si votre appareil vous demande un mot de
passe, entrez « 1234 ».
7) L’appairage restera établi même si l’iA100 et/ou l’appareil Bluetooth sont éteints ou qu’ils
sont hors de portée (plus de 10 m). L’iA100 supporte la reconnexion automatique et
rétablira automatiquement la connexion quand l’appareil Bluetooth reviendra à sa portée.
8) L’iA100 tentera automatiquement de rétablir une liaison avec le dernier appareil Bluetooth
appairé. Si votre appareil ne supporte pas la connexion automatique OU n’est pas le dernier
appareil appairé avec l’iA100, vous devrez recréer manuellement la connexion en sélec-
tionnant l’iA100 dans le menu de votre appareil Bluetooth.

INTRODUCCIÓN
Tu aparato Bluetooth (teléfono móvil, reproductor de MP3, etc.) debe soportar los perfiles
Bluetooth HSP, HFP, A2DP y AVRCP (conocidos generalmente como perfiles de manos libres y
sonido estéreo) para poder funcionar con la unidad iHome iA100. Consulta el manual de usuario
de tu aparato Bluetooth para obtener información sobre los perfiles Bluetooth compatibles con
él y sobre cómo poner el aparato en el modo de búsqueda/conectividad Bluetooth.
LA CONECTIVIDAD (PAIRING)
Pairing es el término para cuando se conectan por primera vez dos dispositivos Bluetooth de
manera inalámbrica. Ello hace que los aparatos se «vean» el uno al otro y que se cree así una
conexión única y duradera entre esos dos dispositivos concretos.
PAIRING Y CONEXIÓN DE TU APARATO BLUETOOTH CON LA UNIDAD iA100
1) Asegúrate de que la batería de tu aparato Bluetooth está completamente cargada.
2) Enciende el aparato Bluetooth y conecta la unidad iA100 al adaptador de corriente.
3) Activa la función Bluetooth de tu aparato. Por lo general, los controles Bluetooth se encuen-
tran en el menú de ajustes o herramientas del aparato (consulta el manual de usuario).
Selecciona la conectividad Bluetooth y haz que tu aparato sea «visible».
4) Para poner el iA100 en modo de pairing, pulsa el botón Pairing, que se encuentra en la
parte posterior de la unidad. Entonces se pondrán a parpadear el icono de Bluetooth y el
icono pairing de la unidad iA100.
5) Selecciona la opción de tu aparato de añadir un nuevo dispositivo Bluetooth. Entonces
empezará la búsqueda. Si fracasa el pairing o se acaba el tiempo para realizarlo, pulsa el
botón Pairing del iA100 para reiniciar el proceso; tendrás que volver a seleccionar en tu
aparato Bluetooth la opción de añadir un nuevo dispositivo.
6) Después de que tu aparato y la unidad iA100 se hayan encontrado, tu aparato te mostrará
un mensaje informándote de que el pairing ha tenido lugar y el icono de Bluetooth de la
unidad iA100 dejará de parpadear y emitirá un pitido de confirmación. Si tu aparato te pide
un código de acceso, introduce «1234».
7) El pairing se mantiene cuando se apagan la unidad iA100 o el aparato con Bluetooth o
cuando se separan más allá del alcance de conexión (9 metros). La unidad iA100 dispone
de conexión automática, por lo que se vuelve a colocar automáticamente como conexión
activa cuando el aparato con Bluetooth reaparece dentro del área de alcance de conexión.
8) La unidad iA100 intentará reestablecer automáticamente la conexión con el dispositivo
Bluetooth conectado en último lugar. Si tu aparato no tiene conexión automática o no ha
sido el último con el que ha conectado la unidad iA100, deberás reconectarlo de manera
manual seleccionando la unidad iA100 desde el menú de Bluetooth de tu aparato.

OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI
Affinché possa funzionare con lo iHome iA100, il dispositivo Bluetooth (cellulare, lettore MP3,
ecc.) deve supportare i profili Bluetooth HSP, HFP, A2DP e AVRCP (comunemente noti come
profili "viva voce" e "audio stereo"). Consultare il manuale dell'utente del dispositivo Bluetooth
per sapere quali sono i profili Bluetooth supportati e come accedere alla modalità
pairing/searching (accoppiamento/ricerca).
IL PAIRING
Con il termine "pairing" (accoppiamento) ci si riferisce alla connessione wireless effettuata per
la prima volta tra due dispositivi Bluetooth. Ciò consente ai dispositivi di “vedersi” tra loro e crea
una connessione durevole specifica tra i dispositivi in questione.
ACCOPPIAMENTO E COLLEGAMENTO DEL DISPOSITIVO BLUETOOTH CON L'iA100
1) Accertarsi che il dispositivo Bluetooth sia completamente carico.
2) Accendere il dispositivo Bluetooth e collegare l'iA100 all'adattatore CA.
3) Attivare la funzionalità Bluetooth sul dispositivo Bluetooth. Di solito, i comandi Bluetooth
sono situati nel menu strumenti o impostazioni del dispositivo (consultare in proposito il
manuale dell'utente). Attivare la connettività Bluetooth/rendere “rilevabile” il dispositivo.
4) Per attivare la modalità Pairing sull'iA100, premere il pulsante Pairing situato nella parte
posteriore dell'apparecchio. Il simbolo Bluetooth e il simbolo “pairing” sull'iA100
inizieranno a lampeggiare.
5) Selezionare l'opzione “add a new Bluetooth device” (aggiungi nuovo dispositivo Bluetooth)
sul dispositivo. In tal modo verrà attivata la ricerca. Se il tentativo di accoppiamento fallisce
o non viene completato entro un tempo prefissato, premere il pulsante Pairing sull'iA100
per riavviare il processo e selezionare nuovamente l'opzione “add a new Bluetooth device”
sul dispositivo Bluetooth.
6) Una volta che il dispositivo e l'iA100 si sono riconosciuti, sul dispositivo dovrebbe apparire il
messaggio “Pairing: Successful” (Pairing effettuato) o un messaggio simile; il simbolo
Bluetooth sull'iA100 dovrebbe cessare di lampeggiare, e dovrebbe essere emesso un
segnale acustico di conferma. Se sul dispositivo viene visualizzato un messaggio che invita
a immettere un codice, inserire “1234”.
7) L'accoppiamento viene preservato anche quando l'iA100 e/o il dispositivo Bluetooth
vengono spenti o la loro distanza diventa superiore alla portata del segnale (9 metri). L'iA100
supporta il collegamento automatico e stabilisce automaticamente una connessione attiva
quando il dispositivo Bluetooth viene nuovamente a trovarsi entro la sua portata.
8) L'iA100 cercherà di ristabilire automaticamente il collegamento con il dispositivo Bluetooth a
cui era collegato la volta precedente. Se il dispositivo non supporta il collegamento
automatico o non è il dispositivo collegato per ultimo all'iA100, occorre ristabilire il
collegamento manualmente, selezionando "iA100" dal menu "Dispositivo Bluetooth" del
dispositivo Bluetooth.

Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät (Mobiltelefon, MP3-Player, etc.) muss die HSP, HFP, A2DP und AVRCP
Bluetooth Profile (allgemein als freihändige und Audio-Stereo-Profile bekannt) unterstützen,
um mit dem iA100 zu funktionieren. Bitte schauen Sie in die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres
Bluetooth-Gerätes für nähere Informationen über die unterstützten Bluetooth-Profile und die
notwendigen ”Pairing/Searching” Einstellungen am Gerät.
ÜBER PAIRING
Pairing ist der Begriff, der verwendet wird, wenn zwei Bluetooth-Geräte erstmals kabellos
miteinander verbunden werden. Dies ermöglicht den Geräten sich zu ”sehen” und stellt eine
bleibende Verbindung zwischen diesen Geräten her.
PAIRING & VERBINDEN IHRES BLUETOOTH GERÄTES MIT DEM IA100
1) Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät vollständig aufgeladen ist.
2) Schalten Sie Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät ein und verbinden Sie Ihr iA100 mit dem Netzadapter.
3) Aktivieren Sie den Bluetooth-Modus an Ihrem Bluetooth-Gerät. In der Regel, lässt sich
Bluetooth über das Einstellungs-Menü ein-und ausschalten (siehe Bedienungsanleitung).
Schalten Sie die Bluetooth Verbindung ein/schalten Sie Ihr Gerät auf ”sichtbar”.
4) Um den Pairing-Modus am iA100 zu aktivieren, drücken Sie die Pairing-Taste auf der
Rückseite des Gerätes. Das Bluetooth-Symbol und “Pairing” Symbol blinkt am iA100.
5) Wählen Sie “Hinzufügen eines neuen Bluetooth-Gerätes” an Ihrem Gerät. Es beginnt zu
suchen. Falls der Pairing Versuch misslingt oder die Zeit ausläuft, drücken Sie die
Pairing-Taste am iA100 um den Prozess erneut zu starten und wiederholen Sie
“Hinzufügen eines neuen Bluetooth-Gerätes” an Ihrem Bluetooth-Gerät.
6) Nachdem sich Ihr Gerät und das iA100 erkannt haben, erscheint ”Pairing Erfolgreich”
oder eine ähnliche Anzeige auf Ihrem Gerät und das Bluetooth-Symbol am iA100 hört auf
zu blinken. Abschließend ertönt ein Piepton zur Bestätigung. Falls Ihr Gerät nach einem
Passcode fragt, geben Sie bitte “1234” ein.
7) Pairing bleibt auch intakt falls das iA100 und/oder das Bluetooth-Gerät von der
Stromverbindung getrennt werden oder sich ausserhalb eines Radius von 3,5m befinden.
Das iA100 unterstützt Auto-Verbindung und stellt automatisch eine Verbindung wieder
her, sobald sich Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät wieder innerhalb des Radius befindet.
8) Das iA100 wird automatisch versuchen, sich mit dem zuletzt verbundenen Gerät erneut
zu verbinden. Falls Ihr Gerät nicht Auto-Verbindung unterstützt ODER nicht das zuletzt
mit dem iA100 verbundene Gerät war, müssen Sie manuell erneut verbinden, indem Sie
aus dem Bluetooth-Menü Ihres Gerätes das iA100 auswählen.
