Hinweise

•Bei erschöpften Batterien ist der Ton instabil oder gar

nicht mehr zu hören.

•Wechseln Sie die Batterien innerhalb von 30 Minuten

aus, da sonst die Speicherungen gelöscht werden.

•Die Batterie-Lebensdauer ist manchmal kürzer als

oben angegeben; sie hängt von den

Betriebsbedingungen ab.

•Wenn der Batteriefachdeckel abgegangen ist, bringen

Sie ihn an, wie in Abb. B gezeigt.

Externe Stromversorg ung

•Bei Netzbetrieb: Schließen Sie den Netzadapter

AC-E30HG (nicht mitgeliefert) an die DC IN 3V-

Buchse an. Zur Steckerpolarität siehe Abb. C.

•Der Netzadapter AC-E30HG unterscheidet sich von

Land zu Land. Vergewissern Sie sich beim Kauf des

Netzadapters, daß die Netzspannung und die Form

des Steckers stimmt.

Verwendung des Schutzetuis D

Hinweis zum Kopfhörer/Ohrhörer

Setzen Sie den Kopfhörer/Ohrhörer so auf, daß sich die

mit „L” markierte Muschel am linken und die mit „R”

markierte Muschel am rechten Ohr befindet.

Störungsüberprüfungen

Die Lautstärke läßt sich nicht erhöhen.

•AVLS ist auf LIMIT eingestellt.

Unstabiler oder überhaupt kein Ton.

•Die Batterien (R6/Größe AA) auswechseln.

•Falls erschöpft, die Batterien auswechseln.

Hinweis zum Display.

•Wenn das Gerät zum allerersten Mal in Betrieb

genommen wird oder die Batterien längere Zeit

herausgenommen waren, zeigt das Display

möglicherweise falsche Informationen an und die

gespeicherten Sender lassen sich nicht abrufen.

Schalten Sie in einem solchen Fall den

Cassettenspieler und das Radio aus, und drücken Sie

etwa 10 Sekunden lang die Taste BAND. Über den

Kopfhörer/Ohrhörer ist dann ein Piepton zu hören.

Bei diesem Vorgang werden die gespeicherten Sender

gelöscht und müssen neu eingegeben werden.

Schlechte Tonqualität bei

Bandwiedergabe.

•Den Kopfhörer-/Ohrhörer-stecker reinigen.

•Die Köpfe sind verschmutzt. Die unten gezeigten

Teile mit einem leicht mit Reinigungsflüssigkeit

oder Alkohol angefeuchtetem Wattestäbchen

reinigen.

Per evitare perdite di fluido delle pile, incendi,

danni, esplosioni, ecc. osservare i punti seguenti.

PERICOLO

•Non tenere le pile a secco insieme a monete o altri

oggetti metallici. Può essere generato calore se i

terminali positivo e negativo delle pile sono

accidentalmente messi in contatto da oggetti metallici.

ATTENZIONE

•Usare solo il trasformatore CA consigliato (non in

dotazione). Controllare la tensione locale per evitare

•Per scollegare il trasformatore CA, afferrare la spina e

non il cavo.

•Non caricare le pile a secco.

lungo periodo, estrarre le pile per evitare danni

Uso del manuale

Le istruzioni in questo manuale sono per il WM-FX269,

WM-FX267 e WM-FX261. Prima di iniziare la lettura,

controllare il numero di modello. Il WM-FX269 è il

modello usato per le illustrazioni. Eventuali differenze

nel funzionamento sono indicate chiaramente nel testo,

ad esempio con “solo FX269/FX267”.

Precauzioni

•Non lasciare l’apparecchio nei pressi di fonti di calore

o in luoghi esposti alla luce solare diretta, polvere

eccessiva o sabbia, umidità, pioggia, scosse

meccaniche o in un’auto con i finestrini chiusi.

•Non avvolgere il filo delle cuffie/auricolari intorno

all’apparecchio. I tasti possono rimanere premuti,

causando uno scaricamento inutile delle pile.

•Non usare cassette di durata superiore a 90 minuti

tranne che per lunghe riproduzioni ininterrotte.

•Se non si è usato l’apparecchio per un lungo periodo,

disporlo in modo di riproduzione e lasciarlo scaldare

per qualche minuto prima di inserire una cassetta.

•Per pulire il rivestimento, usare un panno morbido

leggermente inumidito con una blanda soluzione

detergente. Non usare alcool, benzina o acquaragia.

In caso di interrogativi o problemi riguardanti il

Walkman, consultare il proprio rivenditore Sony.

•Quando le pile si indeboliscono il suono diventa

distorto o non è più udibile. In questo caso sostituire

entrambe le pile.

•Quando si sostituiscono le pile, sostituirle entrambe

entro 30 minuti, altrimenti tutte le memorie sono

cancellate.

•La durata della pila può ridursi a seconda

dell’impiego dell’apparecchio.

•Se il coperchio del comparto pile si stacca, riapplicarlo

come mostrato nella figura B.

Per usare alimentazione esterna

•Per corrente domestica: Collegare il trasformatore CA

AC-E30HG (non in dotazione) alla presa DC IN 3V. La

polarità della spina è mostrata nella figura C.

•Le caratteristiche tecniche dell’AC-E30HG variano a

seconda delle aree. Controllare la tensione locale e la

forma della spina prima dell’acquisto.

Uso della custodia di trasporto D

Quando si usano le cuffie/auricolari

Tenere il lato con la scritta “L” sull’orecchio sinistro e

quello con la scritta “R” sull’orecchio destro.

Soluzione di problemi

Non è possibile alzare il volume.

• AVLS è regolato su LIMIT.

Il suono è instabile o assente.

•Inserire correttamente le pile R6 (formato AA).

•Sostituire tutte e due le pile se sono deboli.

Il display visualizza informazioni erronee.

•Il display può visualizzare informazioni erronee o le

stazioni memorizzate possono non essere richiamate

correttamente quando si usa l’apparecchio per la

prima volta o quando lo si è lasciato senza pile per un

lungo periodo. In questi casi spegnere il riproduttore

e la radio e quindi premere BAND per circa 10

secondi. Si sente un segnale acustico nelle cuffie/

auricolari e le memorie di tutte le stazioni

preselezionate sono cancellate. Impostare di nuovo

queste funzioni.

•Pulire la spina delle cuffie/auricolari.

•Testine sporche. Pulirle con un bastoncino di

cotone inumidito con fluido di pulizia o alcool.

•When the batteries become weak, the sound will be

unstable or cannot be heard. In such case, replace both

batteries.

•When replacing batteries, replace both batteries

within 30 minutes; otherwise all the memories will be

canceled.

operation of the unit.

•If the battery compartment lid comes off, attach it as

shown in fig. B.

To use external power

•For house current: Connect AC-E30HG AC power

adaptor (not supplied) to the DC IN 3V jack. The

polarity of the plug is as shown in fig. C.

Check your local voltage and the shape of plug before

purchasing.

To use the carrying case D

When using headphones/earphones

Wear the “L” marked side to the left ear and the “R”

marked side to the right ear.

Troubleshooting

The volume is not turned up.

•AVLS is set to LIMIT.

The sound is unstable or no audio.

•Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries properly.

•Replace all batteries if they are weak.

The display shows incorrect information.

•The display may show incorrect information or the

preset stations may not be recalled correctly when

you use the unit for the first time, or when you

have left the unit without batteries for a long time.

In these cases, turn the tape and radio off and then

press BAND for about 10 seconds, you will hear a

beep sound through the headphones/earphones

and the memories of all the preset stations will be

canceled. Reset these functions again.

Poor tape playback quality.

•Clean the headphones/earphones plug.

•Dirty heads. Clean the unit with a cotton swab

slightly moistened with cleaning fluid or alcohol.

short circuit to the AC power adaptor.

•To disconnect the AC power adaptor, only use the

plug and not the cable.

•Do not charge a dry battery.

•Check the ] and } on the batteries, and be sure to

insert them like the illustration in this manual.

CAUTION

•When you are not going to use your Walkman for a

long time, remove the batteries to prevent damage

from battery leakage and corrosion.

About This Manual

The instructions in this manual are for WM-FX269,WM-

FX267 and WM-FX261. Before you start reading, check

your model number. WM-FX269 is the model used for

illustration purposes. Any differences in operation are

clearly indicated in the text, for example, “FX269/FX267

only”.

Precautions

•Do not leave the unit in a location near heat sources,

or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust

or sand, moisture, rain, mechanical shock, or in a car

with its windows closed.

•Do not wind the headphones/earphones cord around

the unit. The buttons may be kept pressed, causing

unnecessary battery usage.

•Do not use cassettes longer than 90 minutes except for

long continuous playback.

•If the unit has not been used for a long time, set it in

the playback mode to warm it up for a few minutes

before inserting a cassette.

•For cleaning the case, use a soft cloth slightly

moistened with mild detergent solution. Do not use

alcohol, benzine or thinner.

„nur FX269/FX267”). Schauen Sie bitte nach, welches

Modell Sie besitzen, bevor Sie die Anleitung

durchlesen.

Vorbereitung

•Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in die Nähe von

Wärmequellen und nicht an Plätze, die direktem

Sonnenlicht, starker Staubentwicklung, Sand,

Feuchtigkeit, Regen oder mechanischen Stößen

ausgesetzt sind. Auch in einem mit geschlossenen

Fenstern geparkten Wagen sollte das Gerät nicht

zurückgelassen werden.

•Wickeln Sie das Kopfhörer-/Ohrhörer-kabel nicht um

das Gerät, da sonst der Batterie durch ein

versehentliches Drücken einer Taste unnötig Strom

entzogen wird.

•Cassetten mit einer Spielzeit von mehr 90 Minuten

sollte nur dann verwendet werden, wenn eine lange

durchgehende Wiedergabezeit unbedingt erforderlich

ist.

•Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht verwendet wurde,

schalten Sie es vor dem Einlegen der Cassette einige

Minuten lang auf Wiedergabe, damit es sich etwa

erwärmt.

•Zur Reinigung des Gehäuses verwenden Sie ein

weiches, leicht mit milder Reinigungslösung

angefeuchtetes Tuch. Alkohol, Benzin oder Verdünner

dürfen nicht verwendet werden.

Notas

•Cuando las pilas se debiliten, el sonido se oirá

inestable o no se oirá en absoluto. En tal caso,

reemplace ambas pilas.

•Cuando reemplace las pilas, reemplace ambas antes

Solución de problemas

incorrecta.

tiempo. En tales casos, desconecte la alimentación

del reproductor de cassettes y de la radio, y

después mantenga presionada BAND durante

unos 10 segundos. Usted oirá un pitido a través de

los auriculares de casco/auriculares y se borrarán

daß der Empfang optimal ist.

Hinweis

Eine Cassette mit Metallgehäuse kann den Empfang

beeinträchtigen. Nehmen Sie eine solche Cassette

Listening to the radio

1 Press RADIO ON/OFF.

2 Press BAND to select the band (FM1, FM2

FM3 or AM). Each time you press the

button, the display changes.

3 Press TUNING –/+ to tune to the station

To turn off the radio

To tune the station quickly

Hold down TUNING –/+ in step 3. The frequency

digits change quickly. When you release the button,

the frequency digits change slowly. When the

desired frequency digits appear, press TUNING –/+

To improve broadcast reception

For FM, extend the headphones/earphones cord or

adjust DX/LOCAL or ST/FM MONO.

For AM, reorient the unit itself.

Note

If the broadcast becomes noisy when a cassette with a

metallic shell or label is inserted, remove the cassette.

2 Sintonice la emisora deseada utilizando

3 Mantenga presionada una tecla de

memorización (1-5) durante 2 segundos, la
