Recycling Information for Customers
Philips establishes technically and economically viable objectives to
optimize the environmental performance of the organization’s product,

From the planning, design and production stages, Philips emphasizes the

- a multi-state non-pro t organization focused on promoting recycling
market development - plans to implement a recycling program.
In Asia Paci c, Taiwan, the products can be taken back by Environment
Protection Administration (EPA) to follow the IT product recycling

Philips a dé ni des objectifs réalisables d’un point de vue technique et
économique a n d’optimiser les performances environnementales de ses
produits, services et activités.
Dès les phases de plani cation, de conception et de production, Philips
apporte un soin particulier à la capacité de recyclage de ses produits. Philips
accorde une grande importance à la gestion des produits en n de vie. En
témoignage de cet engagement, Philips participe dans la mesure du possible
à des initiatives de collecte et à des programmes de recyclage nationaux, de
préférence en collaboration avec ses concurrents.
Certains pays européens, tels que les Pays-Bas, la Belgique, la Norvège,
la Suède ou le Danemark, ont d’ores et déjà mis en place un système de
recyclage.
Aux États-Unis, Philips Consumer Lifestyle North America a contribué
au nancement du projet de recyclage des composants électroniques de
l’Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) ainsi qu’au nancement d’initiatives
gouvernementales concernant le recyclage des produits électroniques
grand public en n de vie. Par ailleurs, le Northeast Recycling Council
(NERC), une organisation internationale à but non lucratif qui œuvre pour
le développement du marché du recyclage, envisage de déployer son propre
programme de recyclage.
Dans la région Asie-Paci que (Taïwan), les produits peuvent être collectés par
l’Environment Protection Administration (EPA) conformément au processus
de gestion du recyclage des produits informatiques (informations disponibles
sur le site Web www.epa.gov.tw).

Philips si pre gge obiettivi raggiungibili dal punto di vista tecnico ed
economico per ottimizzare l’impatto ambientale dei propri prodotti, servizi
e attività.
Dalla fase di progettazione a quella di produzione, Philips sottolinea
l’importanza di realizzare prodotti facilmente riciclabili. Presso la nostra
azienda, la gestione dello smaltimento implica soprattutto la partecipazione,
ove possibile, a iniziative di recupero e programmi di riciclaggio a livello
nazionale, preferibilmente in collaborazione con i concorrenti.
Attualmente è attivo un sistema di riciclaggio in alcuni Paesi europei, tra i
quali Paesi Bassi, Belgio, Norvegia, Svezia e Danimarca.
Negli Stati Uniti, la divisione nordamericana di Philips Consumer Lifestyle ha
nanziato il progetto di riciclaggio dei prodotti elettronici della Electronic
Industries Alliance (EIA) e allestisce iniziative di recupero dai privati delle
apparecchiature elettroniche non più funzionanti. Inoltre, il Northeast
Recycling Council (NERC), un’organizzazione no pro t interstatale che si

Recyclinginformatie voor klanten
Philips heeft technisch en economisch redelijke doelstellingen vastgesteld om
de milieuprestaties met betrekking tot de producten, services en activiteiten
binnen de organisatie te optimaliseren.
Philips hecht binnen alle processen, van planning tot ontwerp tot productie,
veel belang aan de fabricage van producten die eenvoudig kunnen worden
gerecycled. Bij Philips is end-of-life management voornamelijk gericht door
deelname aan nationale terugname-initiatieven en recyclingprogramma’s
waar dit mogelijk is, bij voorkeur in samenwerking met concurrenten.
Er zijn momenteel al recyclingprogramma’s opgezet in Europese landen als
Nederland, België, Noorwegen, Zweden en Denemarken.
In de V.S. heeft Philips Consumer Lifestyle North America een nanciële
bijdrage geleverd aan het recyclingproject voor elektronische apparatuur
van de EIA (Electronic Industries Alliance) en aan staatsinitiatieven voor
recycling van gebruikte elektronische producten en huishoudapparatuur.
Daarnaast staat de implementatie gepland van een recyclingprogramma van
de NERC (Northeast Recycling Council), een in meerdere staten gevestigde
non-pro torganisatie die zich richt op de promotie van ontwikkelingen op
de recyclingmarkt.
In Azië (Oceanië) en Taiwan kunnen de producten worden teruggenomen
door de EPA (Environment Protection Administration). Deze producten
volgen vervolgens het recyclingproces voor IT-producten. Meer informatie

Milieu-informatie
Uw product is vervaardigd van kwalitatief hoogwaardige materialen
en onderdelen die gerecycled en opnieuw gebruikt kunnen worden.
Wanneer een product is voorzien van een symbool van een
afvalcontainer met een kruis erdoorheen, valt het product onder de
Europese richtlijn 2002/96/EG:
Gooi het product nooit weg met ander huishoudelijk afval.
