2 Safety instructions
!WARNING! Failure to obey these warnings could result in death
or serious injury.
Electrocution hazard (only for powered blinds)
Do not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
If the power cable for this device is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified or compe-
tent person in order to prevent safety hazards.
Inadequate repairs may cause serious hazards.
Disconnect the blind from the power supply before carrying out any
maintenance.
Health hazard
Important safety instructions. It is important for the safety of persons to
follow these instructions. Save these instructions.
This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Blinds should be stowed before maneuvering to ensure no restriction
of the driver vision.

Only for powered blinds:
Do not fit powered blinds to escape hatches.
Modification of the design or configuration of the equipment with-
out express permission of the manufacturer may create a danger-
ous situation.
Do not allow children to play with the control device of the internal
blind. Keep remote controls away from children.
Frequently examine the installation for signs of wear or damage to
cables. Do not use if repair is necessary.
Do not operate when maintenance, such as window cleaning, is
being carried out in the vicinity.
Suffocation hazard
This device contains small parts. Keep it away from children under
3years.
The packaging includes plastic bags. Keep them away from children
under 3 years.
!CAUTION! Failure to obey these cautions could result in minor or
moderate injury.
Risk of injury
The device must only be installed, removed or repaired by qualified or
competent person using suitable fastening material.
Take reasonable precaution when installing the blind and wear appro-
priate personal protective equipment.
Only for boats and yachts: If the blind is in front of an open window,
then the blind should be stowed when driving at more than 10 knots
or in a sea state of more than moderate, as this can cause damage to
the blind. Parts that come loose may injure persons in the vicinity.
ANOTICE!
Damage hazard
Blinds should be stowed completely when boat or vehicle is under
way.
Use screws and plugs suitable for the wall construction to fix the blind.
Ensure that you do not drill through the wall.
Ensure that your hands are clean or wear suitable gloves to avoid mark-
ing the fabric.

Accessories are available using the separate order form. You can find your autho-
rized customer service center at dometic.com.
5 Intended use
The roofblind is suitable for:
Installation in yachts and boats
Installation in caravans and motor homes
Horizontal installation
The design and size of the blinds are custom-made. The fabric of the blinds is cut to
fit the customer‘s specifications.
The blinds are designed for interior use only and should not be installed in bath-
rooms, wet rooms or other locations with a high level of humidity.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance
with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or
operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating or mainte-
nance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product
resulting from:
Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts
provided by the manufacturer
Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer
Use for purposes other than those described in this manual
Dometic reserves the right to change product appearance and product
specifications.

6 Technical description
The blind is available in two operating types:
•Manual
• Powered
Available blind types are:
•Straight
•Curved
The installation position of the blind is possible horizontal or vertical or inclined.

NOTE
After delivery, the blind type and the scope of delivery should be
checked according to the order confirmation. The number on the pro-
duct label indicating the blind type is located on the back of the head
rail.
WARNING!
Only for powered blinds: Disconnect the power supply before you
begin and ensure that it can not be reconnected until installation has
been completed.
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Important safety instructions. Follow all instructions since incorrect
installation can lead to severe injury.
NOTE
Ensure enough room in front of the brackets to be able to access the
release clip.

7.1 Installing the head rail brackets
When installing the brackets, note the following:
Observe related technical drawings provided with the order for specific dimen-
sions required, depending on head rail size and restraint type.
Ensure that there is sufficient distance from parts of the window so that the blind
can be operated without obstruction.
Ensure that the brackets are close to the edge of head rail for best support.
INOTE
Use screws and plugs suitable for the wall construction to fix the blind.
The manufacturer recommends pan-head screws #6 with a length
suitable for the material to which it is being mounted.

7.3 Inserting the blind gliders into side tracks
Feed the whole blind into the side tracks with the handle (if available) pointing
downwards taking care to keep the cords free from the gliders and ensure that
the cords are not twisted when fitting the cord pulley.
Keep the fabric panels of a manual blind together with straps.
Ensure that the gliders slide into the track correctly before fixing side tracks.
Fix side tracks parallel to the head rail.

7.4 Installing the side tracks and fitting the end stops
When screwing in tracks ensure they are parallel with the correct spacing:
Powered: 10 mm from head rail to end of track
Manual: 5 mm from head rail to end of track
NOTE
Ensure that the cord runs freely behind the gliders inside the side track.
