Hold the base plate 2 against the ceiling and
mark the drill holes using the holes in the base
plate 2 intended for the screws 3.
Drill the holes (Ø 6 mm, approx. 40 mm deep).
Be sure not to damage the supply line.
Insert the wall plugs 1 into the drilled holes.
If necessary, use a hammer to do so.
Feed the mains connection cable (external) 5
through the opening in the centre of the base
plate 2 (see fig. C).
Note: make sure that you do not push the mains
connection cable too far through the opening,
as the base plate 2 might not then fit on the
lamp body.
Attach the base plate 2 to the ceiling using
the screws 3 (see fig. A).
Pull the protective tubes 4 over cables L and
N of the mains connection cable (external) 5.
Be sure to correctly connect the individual con-
ductors of the mains connection cable (external)
5: live conductor, black or brown = symbol L,
neutral conductor, blue = symbol N.
Note: this light has protection class 2; the earth
wire should not be connected.
Now insert the screwless terminals 7 and the
safety hooks 8 into their intended locations
on the base plate 2 (see Fig. D).
Now attach the lampshade 6 by screwing it
clockwise onto the base plate 2 (see Fig. E).
Note: The arrows on the base plate 2 and
on the lampshade 6 must be opposite each
other.
Replace the fuse or switch on the circuit
breaker (I setting) inside the fuse box.
Your light is now ready to use.
Dimming the light
The light can be set to 3 brightness levels using the
wall switch.
The light has a backlight.
