1.) Safety instructions
The user must carefully read and observe these guidelines and
operating instructions. Failure to do so or correct use of the
equipment may cause serious injury or even death. This product
has been designed especially for mountaineering and rock
climbing. The information provided below is important for a proper
and practical use; however, it is not a substitute for experience,
personal responsibility and know-how. All persons using
SKYLOTEC products of any kind are personally responsible for
ensuring before using the product that they are aware of safety
precautions and that they learn the correct application procedures
according to the latest technology. The user must ensure that he/
she is informed of any rescue measures necessary and is able to
perform these appropriately according to the situation. If this is not
the case, the user must operate the product exclusively under
supervision of a responsible, experienced and skilled person. The
manufacturer and specialist shop outlets do not accept any liability
for misuse and/or improper use of the product. NOTE: The correct
use of the harness is shown below. Certain incorrect uses are also
illustrated, each time indicated with the skull and crossbones
symbol. Use exclusively the techniques shown to be correct.
Contact SKYLOTEC directly for all questions regarding correct
use. Several other obvious as well as less known incorrect
techniques exist which cannot be illustrated here.
2.) Use
Before each use check the integrity of the climbing harness and
check for any damage. For harnesses where the color of the
webbing and the stitching differ only on the surface structure, the
stitching is to be checked especially. If the slightest doubt exists
with regard to the safety of the climbing harness, immediately
eliminate and replace. Each harness should be allocated to one
particular person so that the full history of its use is known to that
individual. Have your harness tested every 12 months by
appropriately specialised personnel. Document the test result in
writing and in an appropriately pertinent manner. Adjust the harness
tsothatyourmovementsarenotrestricted.Thereshouldberoom
fortwongersbetweenbody/clothingand harness.Ensurethat
you are familiar with the types of fastenings and with length and
size adjustments. The harness strap must never be pulled out of
the buckles. If this does happen, the strap must be reinserted

according to the operating instructions (Fig. 1 and 2). Check that all
buckles and adjustments are secure before and during each use.
Prior to initial use, check the size and tting of the harness by
means of a hanging test (for approx. 10 min) in a safe place.
Harnesses which are EN 12277 Class B compliant can only be
used by persons weighing up to a max. of 40 kg. Size range cannot
bespecicallydenedduetodifferentbodyshapes.Thehanging
test should serve as an indicator for the user in independently
choosingthecorrectt.Ifyouuseasportclimbingharnessforyour
child,pleasemakesurethechildhassufcientmuscletonetouse
the seat harness by itself. If not, use a full-body harness or the
Dunit chest harness. The product must be used only in conjunction
with EC-certied components for fall-arrest personal safety
equipment. The harness must be used exclusively with energy-
absorbing systems. Prior to use, check the system for compatibility
with all components. The harness must not be exposed to any
damaging elements, corrosive or aggressive substances (such as
acids,solderinguidsoroils),aswellasextremetemperaturesand
sparks. When using the product, avoid impacts, rubbing on raw
materials and over sharp edges. Care during transport and use will
ensure the safety and long lifespan of the equipment. The product
can be used in long-term temperatures of –35° to +55° C in dry
climates. Special care must be taken with wet equipment and
temperatures below zero degrees. Moisture and ice can negatively
affect the hold and secureness of harnesses and ropes.

3.) Fastening-up
When fastening up, use only the straps or loops specically
provided (Fig. 3). Secure yourself directly in the harness using a
gure-eightknot(Fig.4).Useanoverhandknottosecurethehip
and chest strap (Fig. 5). Fastening with two counterrotating
carabiners is only permitted on glaciers and top-rope climbing.
NOTE: NEVER use the chest strap alone. Hanging freely with only
the chest strap fastened and without sitting harness can be life-
threatening even for a short period of time („crucixion“ effect).
NOTE: Never use fastening points other than those indicated *A1
– *A4 in the drawings. The use of any other fastening-up systems
(e.g. material carrying straps) is prohibited and can be fatal! Other
fastening systems used (e.g. fastening elements or xed ropes)
must be secured to the fastening eyes by means of a suitable
connecting system such as anchors or carabiners complying with
EN 12275 or EN 362. It is important to remember that: Different
mountaineering activities require different fastening methods.
Select these methods each time based on the latest technology.

5.) Cleaning
Clean dirty products with lukewarm water (adding neutral soap if
required). Rinse carefully with clean water. Dry slowly at room
temperature - never place in cloths dryer or on heaters.
6.) Transport
Carry in a tool bag or special storage or transport container. These
measures protect the product from direct sunlight, chemicals, dirt
and mechanical damage.
7.) Storage
Store the product in a cool and dry place, protected from sunlight,
outside its transport container and free of mechanical
pressure, crushing or pulling forces. Note! Avoid contact with
chemicals (oils, battery acid, etc.)!
8.) Lifespan
The product‘s lifespan is essentially dependent on the way it is
used and the frequency, as well as external factors. Products made
ofsyntheticbresundergoacertainamountofageingevenifnot
used, depending particularly on the intensity of UV radiation and
climatic factors. If used frequently, an assessment of when to
discard the product is determined by the wear and tear, while if
used occasionally the product should be discarded after 6 - 8 years.
Even in optimal storage conditions and even if not used, the product
should be discarded after 10 years. NOTE: The product‘s lifespan
can be reduced in a single use if put under considerable stress
(e.g. after an extreme fall, fall factor >1). Perform a careful visual
check of the equipment before and after each use! The product
must be immediately replaced in the following cases:
• After a hard fall (extreme mechanical stress)
• In the event that fastenings, straps or seams are damaged
(deformation,uffformation,pulledthreads,etc.)
• After exposure to extreme temperatures, heat generated by
contact or rubbing (visible fusion or signs of fusion)
• In the case of irreversible or heavy soiling (e.g. contact with
chemicals, bitumen, oil, etc.)
Markings of any kind (e.g. with lacquer marker) on the carrying
components of the harness are considered to be chemical
contaminations and affect the product‘s lifespan. If your personal
harness is old, dispose of it in order to avoid further dangerous use.
VIII Modications and repairs The user must not perform any
modication,extension orrepair onthe product,but ratherhave
these carried out exclusively by SKYLOTEC.

1.) Sicherheitshinweise
Der Anwender muss diese Richtlinien und Gebrauchshinweise
genau lesen und befolgen. Nichtbeachtung oder Falschanwendung
kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder sogar zum Tode führen.
Dieses Produkt wurde speziell zum Bergsteigen und Klettern
entwickelt. Nachstehende Informationen sind wichtig für die sach-
und praxisgerechte Anwendung, ersetzen jedoch niemals
Erfahrung, Eigenverantwortung und Wissen. Jede Person, die
SKYLOTEC Material jeglicher Art benutzt, ist vor der Verwendung
persönlich verantwortlich für das Wissen um
Sicherheitsvorkehrungen sowie das Erlernen der richtigen
Anwendung nach dem Stand der Technik. Der Anwender muss
sicherstellen,dasserzujedemZeitpunktübereventuellnotwendige
Rettungsmaßnahmen informiert ist und diese situationsgerecht
durchführen kann. Ansonsten darf die Anwendung ausschließlich
unter Aufsicht einer verantwortlichen, geübten oder anderweitig
kompetenten Person erfolgen. Hersteller und Fachhandel lehnen
im Falle von Missbrauch und/oder unsachgemäßem Umgang
jegliche Haftung ab.
ACHTUNG: Nachstehend wird die korrekte Anwendung der Gurte
dargestellt. Zusätzlich werden einige Fehlanwendungen gezeigt,
die jeweils mit einem Totenkopf gekennzeichnet sind. Verwenden
Sie die Gurte ausschließlich für die gezeigten und als korrekt
gekennzeichneten Techniken. Bei jeglichen Fragen in Bezug auf
die richtige Anwendung wenden Sie sich direkt an SKYLOTEC. Es
gibt noch eine Vielzahl an bekannten und unbekannten
Falschanwendungen, die hier nicht alle abgebildet werden können.
2.) Gebrauch
Kontrollieren Sie vor jedem Gebrauch den Klettergurt auf
Vollständigkeit und eventuelle Beschädigungen. Für Gurtmodelle,
bei denen sich die Farbe des Gurtbandes und das Nahtbild nur
anhandderOberächenstrukturunterscheiden,sinddieNahtbilder
gesondertzuüberprüfen.BestehenauchnurdiegeringstenZweifel
hinsichtlich der Sicherheit Ihres Klettergurtes, so ist dieser
umgehend auszusondern und zu ersetzen. Jeder Gurt sollte
individuell einer Person zugeteilt werden, so dass diese die
vollständige Historie der Anwendung kennt. Lassen Sie Ihren Gurt
zusätzlich alle 12 Monate durch eine entsprechende Fachkraft
überprüfen. Dokumentieren Sie das Ergebnis der Prüfung schriftlich
und entsprechend zuordenbar. Stellen Sie dabei die Passform des

Gurtes so ein, dass Ihre Bewegungsfreiheit nicht eingeschränkt
wird.ZwischenKörper/KleidungundGurtsolltennochzweiFinger
Platz haben. Machen Sie sich mit den Schnallentypen und die Art
der Längen-/ Größenverstellung vertraut. Das Gurtband sollte nie
aus den Schnallen herausgefädelt werden. Passiert dies doch,
muss das Gurtband gemäß der Bedienungsanleitung wieder in die
Schnalle eingefädelt werden (Abb. 1 und 2). Kontrollieren Sie den
sicheren Verschluss aller Schnallen und Verstellmöglichkeiten vor
und auch während jeder Anwendung. Überprüfen Sie vor dem
ersten Gebrauch die Größeneinstellung/Passform des Gurtes in
einem Hängetest (ca. 10 Min.) an einem sicheren Ort. Gurte nach
EN 12277 Kl. B dürfen nur von Personen bis max. 40 kg
Körpergewicht benutzt werden. Der Größenbereich ist wegen der
sehrunterschiedlichenKörperformennichteindeutigzudenieren.
Als Anhaltspunkt sollte der Hängetest dienen, nach welchem der
Anwender selbstständig über die korrekte Passform entscheiden
sollte. Bei Verwendung eines Kinderhüftgurtes, vergewissern Sie
sich, dass das Kind über genügend Muskelkraft verfügt, um den
Klettergurt alleine zu benutzen. Verwenden Sie andernfalls einen
Komplettgurt oder Dunit-Brustgurt. Die Verwendung mit anderen
Komponenten sollte ausschließlich mit CE-gekennzeichneten
Bestandteilen von Persönlicher Schutzausrüstung (PSA) zum
Schutz gegen Stürze aus der Höhe erfolgen. Die Gurte dürfen
ausschließlich mit energieabsorbierenden Systemen verwendet
werden. Prüfen Sie Ihr System vor der Verwendung auf
Kompatibilität aller Komponenten. Der Gurt darf keinen
schädigenden Einüssen, ätzenden, aggressiven Stoffen, (wie
Säuren, Laugen, Lötwasser, Öle) sowie extremen Temperaturen
undFunkenugausgesetztwerden.VermeidenSiebeimGebrauch
Stöße, Reibung auf rauen
Materialien und über scharfe Kanten. Sorgfalt bei Transport und
Verwendung erhöht die Sicherheit und die Lebensdauer der
Ausrüstung. Die Dauergebrauchstemperatur des Produktes im
trockenen Klima liegt bei –35° bis +55° C. Besondere Vorsicht gilt
bei nasser Ausrüstung und Minustemperaturen. Nässe und
Vereisung können die Haltbarkeit und Festigkeit von Gurten und
Seilennegativbeeinussen.

3.) Anseilen (Einbinden)
Für das Anseilen dürfen ausschließlich die dafür vorgesehenen
Anseilschlaufen oder Anseilringe benutzt werden (Abb. 3). Binden
Sie sich mit einem Achterknoten (Abb. 4) direkt in den Klettergurt
ein. Hüft- und Brustgurt verbinden Sie mittels Sackstich (Abb. 5).
Das Einbinden mit zwei gegenläugen Karabinern ist nur bei
Gletscherbegehungen und beim Topropeklettern zulässig.
ACHTUNG: Verwenden Sie den Brustgurt NIE einzeln. Das freie
Hängen nur im Brustgurt ohne Sitzgurt kann bereits nach sehr

kurzerZeitlebensbedrohlichsein(Kreuzigungseffekt).ACHTUNG:
Binden Sie sich niemals in andere Anseilpunkte als die in den
Zeichnungen *A1 – *A4 gekennzeichneten ein. Die Verwendung
von allen anderen Anseilmöglichkeiten (z. B. Materialtrageschlaufen)
ist nicht zulässig und kann tödlich enden!
Bei der Verwendung anderer Anseilsysteme (z. B. Verbindungsmittel
oder Klettersteigsets) sind diese durch eine geeignete
Verbindungstechnik, wie z.B. Ankerstich oder Karabiner nach EN
12275 bzw. EN 362 mit der Einbindeöse zu verbinden. Grundsätzlich
gilt: Unterschiedliche alpine Aktivitäten erfordern unterschiedliche
Anseilmethoden. Wählen Sie diese jeweils gemäß Stand der
Technik.

5.) Reinigung
Verschmutze Produkte reinigen Sie in handwarmen Wasser (evtl.
mitZusatzvonNeutralseife).MitklaremWassersorgfältig
ausspülen. Bei Raumtemperatur – niemals in Wäschetrocknern
oder auf Heizkörpern – langsam trocknen.
6.) Transport
Verwenden Sie zum Transport einen Gerätebeutel oder spezielle
Lager- oder Transportbehälter. Dadurch ist das Produkt vor direkter
Sonnenstrahlung, Chemikalien, Verschmutzungen und
mechanischer Beschädigung geschützt.
7.) Lagerung
Lagern Sie das Produkt kühl, trocken und vor Tageslicht geschützt
außerhalb von Transportbehältern, ohne mechanische Druck-,
Quetsch- oder Zugbelastung.Achtung! Kontakt mit Chemikalien
vermeiden (Öle, Batteriesäure ...)!
8.) Lebensdauer
Die Lebensdauer des Produktes ist im Wesentlichen abhängig von
derAnwendungsartundHäugkeitsowievonäußerenEinüssen.
Aus Chemiefasern hergestellte Produkte unterliegen auch ohne
Benutzung einer gewissen Alterung, die insbesondere durch die
Stärke der UV-Strahlung und klimatischen Umwelteinüssen
abhängigist.BeihäugerVerwendungistanhanddesVerschleißes
ein Urteil zu treffen, wann ausgesondert werden muss, bei
gelegentlicher Verwendung sollte das Produkt nach 6 - 8 Jahren
ausgesondert werden. Selbst bei optimalen Lagerungsbedingungen
und ohne Verwendung sollte das Produkt nach 10 Jahren
ausgesondert werden.
ACHTUNG: Bei extremer Belastung kann sich die Lebensdauer
des Produktes auf einen einzigen Einsatz reduzieren (z. B. nach
einer starken Sturzbelastung, Sturzfaktor >1). Führen Sie vor und

nach jedem Gebrauch eine sorgfältige Sichtkontrolle Ihrer
Ausrüstung durch! Das Produkt muss grundsätzlich umgehend
ausgetauscht werden:
• nach einem harten Sturz (extreme mechanische Belastung)
• bei Beschädigung von Schnallen, Gurtbändern oder Nahtbildern
(Deformationen, Pelzbildung, gezogenen Fäden usw.)
• nach starker thermischer Belastung, Kontakt- oder Reibungshitze
(sichtbare Verschmelzungen oder Schmelzspuren)
• bei irreversiblen, starken Verschmutzungen (z. B. Kontakt mit
Chemikalien, Bitumen, Ölen ...)
Markierungen jeglicher Art (z. B. mit Lackfarbstiften) auf tragenden
Bestandteilen der Gurte sind als chemische Verschmutzung
anzusehen und führen zur Ablegereife. Ist Ihr persönlicher Gurt
ablegereif, zerstören und entsorgen Sie das Produkt, um weiteren,
gefährlichen Gebrauch zu verhindern.
9.) Änderungen, Reparaturen
Jegliche Änderungen, Ergänzungen oder Reparaturen dürfen nicht
vom Anwender, sondern ausschließlich durch SKYLOTEC
durchgeführt werden. Technische Änderungen vorbehalten.
Es müssen ALLE dem Produkt beiliegenden Anleitungen beachtet
werden!

arrampicata. Le informazioni seguenti sono importanti per
un‘applicazione corretta e che funziona nella pratica, tuttavia non

salvataggio necessarie e di poterle effettuare in modo corretto per
la situazione. In caso contrario l‘applicazione può aver luogo
esclusivamente sotto lo sguardo di una persona responsabile,
allenata o comunque competente. Produttore e commerciante
declinano ogni responsabilità in caso di uso improprio e/o
manipolazione non corretta.
ATTENZIONE: di seguito viene rappresentata l‘applicazione
corretta della cintura. Le applicazioni sbagliate sono contrassegnate
con un teschio. Utilizzare la cintura esclusivamente per le tecniche
indicate e contrassegnate come corrette. Per qualsiasi domanda
relativa alla corretta applicazione rivolgersi direttamente a
SKYLOTEC. Esistono ancora innumerevoli applicazioni sbagliate
conosciute e non conosciute che non possono essere rappresentate
tutte qui.
2.) Uso
Controllare prima di ogni utilizzo l‘integrità dell‘imbragatura ed
eventuali danni. Se esiste anche soltanto il minimo dubbio circa la
sicurezza dell‘imbragatura scartare quest‘ultima e sostituirla. Ogni
cintura dovrebbe essere destinata individualmente a una persona
in modo che questa conosca la storia completa dell‘applicazione.
Far vericare inoltre la cintura ogni 12 mesi da parte di uno
specialista appropriato. Documentare il risultato dell‘esame per
iscrittoeinmodoadeguatamenteclassicabile.Regolarelamisura
della cintura in modo che non sia limitata la libertà di movimento.
Tra corpo/abito e cintura dovrebbe esserci ancora spazio per due
dita.Familiarizzareconitipidibbieeconiltipodiregolazionein
lunghezzaeinaltezza.Lacinturanondovrebbemaislarsidalle

bbie.Sesuccedequestoinlaredinuovolacintura nellabbia
secondo le istruzioni per l‘uso (Fig. 1 e 2). Controllare che tutte le
bbiesianobenchiuseechesipossanoregolareprimaeanche
dopoogniapplicazione.Vericarelaregolazionedellagrandezza/
misura della cintura prima del primo utilizzo con un test in
sospensione (circa 10 min.) in un luogo sicuro. Le cinture della
classe EN 12277 B dovrebbero essere utilizzate soltanto da
personeconunpesocorporeonoadunmax.di40kg.Lemisure
nonsipossonodenireinmodomoltochiaroacausadelleforme
del corpo molto diverse. Come punto di riferimento il test in
sospensione deve servire per la scelta autonoma del modello
corretto da parte dell‘utente. Si prega di assicurarsi, prima dell‘ uso
di un‘ imbracatura sportiva per bambini, che il bambino abbia la
forzamuscolaresufcienteperutilizzarloautonomamente.Incaso
contrario, utilizzare un‘ imbracatura completa o una imbracatura
Dunit. L‘uso con altri componenti dovrebbe avvenire esclusivamente
con componenti dell‘attrezzatura di protezione personale (PSA)
contrassegnati CE per proteggere dalle cadute dall‘alto. Le cinture
dovrebbero essere utilizzate esclusivamente con sistemi che
assorbono energia. Vericare sempre la compatibilità di tutti i
componenti del vostro sistema prima dell‘utilizzo. Non esporre la
cinturaainussichepossonodanneggiarla,asostanzecorrosiveo
aggressive (come acidi, liscivia, acidi per la saldatura, oli) o a
temperature estreme e scintille. Durante l‘uso evitare colpi, frizione
sumaterialiruvidiebordiaflati.Untrasportoeunusoaccurato
aumentano la sicurezza e la durata dell‘attrezzatura. La temperatura
conl‘usoprolungatodelprodottoinunclimaasciuttoètra–35°e
+55° C. Particolare attenzione va applicata nel caso di attrezzatura
bagnata e temperature sotto lo zero. Il bagnato e la formazione di
ghiaccio possono inuenzare negativamente l‘inalterabilità e la
solidità di cinture e corde.

3.) Legarsi in cordata (legarsi)
Per legarsi in cordata utilizzare esclusivamente gli appositi anelli di
servizio (Fig. 3). Legarsi con un nodo a otto (Fig. 4) direttamente
nell‘imbragatura. Legare imbragatura e cintura toracica mediante il
nodo delle guide (Fig. 5). Legare con due moschettoni controrotanti
è consentito soltanto durante l‘ascensione ai ghiacciai e
l‘arrampicataintoprope.ATTENZIONE:noutilizzareMAIlacintura
toracica singolarmente. Stare appesi liberamente soltanto con la
cintura toracica senza cosciale può essere pericoloso già dopo un
periodomoltobreve(effettocrocissione).
ATTENZIONE:nonlegarsimaiinaltripuntidellacordatadiversida
quelli contrassegnati nei disegni *A1 – *A4 L‘uso di tutte le altre
possibilità di legatura (per esempio per esempio gli anelli porta
materiale)non è consentito e può avere unesito mortale! Sesi
utilizzano altri sistemi di legatura (per esempio un mezzo di

collegamento o il set per la via ferrata) collegarli con un‘adeguata
tecnica di collegamento, come per esempio un nodo strozzato o un
moschettone conforme alla EN 12275 o EN 362, con l‘ugello
apposito. Fondamentalmente vale la regola: le varie attività alpine
richiedono metodi diversi per legarsi in cordata. Scegliere questi di
volta in volta secondo lo stato della tecnica.
4.) Tracciabilità e marcature

5.) Pulizia
Pulire i prodotti sporchi in acqua tiepida (eventualmente
aggiungendo sapone neutro). Sciacquare accuratamente con
acqua chiara. Asciugare lentamente a temperatura ambiente, non
utilizzare mai asciugabiancheria o corpi che emettono calore.
6.) Trasporto
Utilizzare per il trasporto un sacco da attrezzi o speciali contenitori
daimmagazzinaggioodatrasporto.Inquestomodoilprodottoè
protetto dall‘irradiazione diretta del sole, da prodotti chimici,
sporcizia e danni meccanici.
7.) Immagazzinaggio
Immagazzinare il prodotto in un luogo fresco, asciutto e protetto
dalla luce del giorno al di fuori dei contenitori da trasporto, senza
carico meccanico di pressione, schiacciamento o trazione.
Attenzione! Evitare il contatto con prodotti chimici (oli, acidi delle
batterie ...)!
8.) Durata
La durata del prodotto dipende sostanzialmente dal tipo e dalla
frequenzadiapplicazioneedagliinussiesterni.Iprodottifabbricati
conbrechimiche,anchesenonvengonoutilizzati,sonosoggetti
ad un certo invecchiamento, che dipende in particolare dalla forza
deiraggiUVedagliinussiclimatici.Incasodiutilizzopiùfrequente
èilcasodivalutare,sullabasedell‘usura,quandodevonoessere
scartate, in caso di utilizzo occasionale il prodotto dovrebbe essere
scartato dopo 6 - 8 anni. In condizioni ottimali di immagazzinaggio
e senza utilizzo il prodotto dovrebbe essere scartato dopo 10 anni.
ATTENZIONE:incasodicaricoestremoladuratadelprodottopuò
essere ridotta ad un singolo impiego (per esempio dopo un carico
pesante da caduta, fattore di caduta >1). Effettuare un controllo
visivo accurato prima e dopo ogni utilizzo dell‘attrezzatura! Il
prodotto deve essere scartato in linea di massima senza indugio:
• dopo un duro colpo (carico meccanico estremo)
• in caso di danno alle bbie, alle cinghie o alle cuciture
(deformazioni,formazionedipelliccia,litiratieviadicendo)
• in seguito a un carico termico pesante, calore da contatto o da
sfregamento (fusioni visibili o tracce di fusioni)

• in caso sporcizia irreversibile e pesante (per esempio a contatto
con prodotti chimici, bitume, oli...)
Marcature di qualsiasi genere (per esempio con pennarelli) sui
componenti portanti delle cinghie vanno viste come sporcizia
chimica e portano alla maturità di deposizione. Se la vostra cinghia
personale è pronta per la sostituzione, distruggere e smaltire il
prodotto, per impedirne un ulteriore e pericoloso utilizzo.
9.) Modiche, riparazioni
Qualsiasimodica,completamentooriparazionenondeveessere
eseguita dall‘utente, ma esclusivamente da SKYLOTEC.

1.) Consignes de sécurité
L‘utilisateur doit lire exactement et suivre ces directives et
consignes d‘utilisation. Le non-respect ou la mauvaise utilisation
peut entraîner de graves blessures, voire même la mort. Ce produit
a été conçu spécialement pour l‘alpinisme et l‘escalade. Les
informations suivantes sont importantes pour une utilisation
convenable et adaptée à la pratique mais ne remplacerons toutefois
jamais l‘expérience, la propre responsabilité et les connaissances
personnelles. Avant d‘utiliser le matériel SKYLOTEC de quelle que
manièreque cesoit, toute personneutilisant cematériel doitse
porter garante de ses connaissances sur les dispositifs de sécurité
etl‘apprentissagedel‘utilisationcorrecteselonlesrèglesdel‘art.
L‘utilisateur doit s‘assurer qu‘il dispose à tout moment des
connaissances sur les éventuelles mesures de sauvetage
nécessaires et qu‘il peut les réaliser en fonction de la situation.
Dans le cas contraire, l‘utilisation doit s‘effectuer exclusivement
sous la surveillance d‘une personne responsable, expérimentée ou
disposant des compétences appropriées. Le fabricant et les
détaillants rejettent toute responsabilité en cas de mauvaise
utilisation ou de maniement incorrect.
ATTENTION : L‘utilisation correcte des sangles est décrite ci-
après. De plus, quelques utilisations incorrectes, marquées par
une tête de mort, sont représentées. Utilisez les sangles
exclusivement pour les techniques indiquées et caractérisées
comme étant correctes. Pour toutes les questions concernant
l‘utilisation correcte, veuillez vous adresser directement à
SKYLOTEC. Il existe par ailleurs un grand nombre d‘autres
utilisations incorrectes connues et inconnues ne pouvant pas
toutes être reproduites ici.
2.) Utilisation
Avant chaque utilisation, contrôlez l‘intégralité du harnais
d‘escalade et détectez d‘éventuels endommagements. Pour
modèles des harnais ou le couleur du sangle et de la couture
seulementsedistinguentparlastructuredesurface,ilfautvérier
particulièrementlescoutures.Sivousavezlemoindredoutevis-à-
vis de la sécurité de votre harnais d‘escalade, celui-ci doit être
retiré immédiatement et être remplacé. Chaque sangle devrait être
attribuée à une seule personne pour que celle-ci connaisse tout
l‘historique de l‘utilisation. Faites contrôler votre sangle en plus

par écrit. Réglez la mise en place de la sangle de sorte à ne pas
restreindre votre liberté de mouvement. Entre le corps ou le
vêtement et la sangle, il doit être encore possible de passer deux
doigts. Familiarisez-vous avec les types de boucle et le type du
réglage de longueur et de taille. La sangle ne doit jamais sortir des
boucles. Si jamais cela arrive, la sangle doit de nouveau être
enléedanslaboucleselonlemoded‘emploi(g.1et2).Contrôlez
la fermeture sûre de toutes les sangles et possibilités de réglage
avant et également pendant chaque utilisation. Contrôlez avant la
premièreutilisationleréglagedelataille/lamiseenplacedela
sangle au cours d‘un test de suspension (env. 10 Min.) dans un
endroit sûr. Les sangles selon la norme EN 12277 classe B peuvent
être utilisées exclusivement pour des personnes d‘un poids
maximalde40kg.Laplagedegrandeurnedoitpasêtredénie
tropclairementenraisondesformescorporellestrèsdifférentes.
Le test de suspension doit servir de point de départ à l‘utilisateur
pour qu‘il puisse décider lui-même de la mise en place correcte. S‘il
vous plaît assurez-vous, avant l´utilisation d‘un harnais de sport
pour les enfants, que ils ont la force musculaire sufsante pour
l‘utiliser de façon indépendante. Sinon, utilisez un harnais de sport
complet ou un harnais Dunit. L‘utilisation d‘autres composants doit
s‘effectuer exclusivement avec des éléments possédant le sigle
CEd‘unéquipementdeprotectionpersonnelandeseprémunir
contre une chute en hauteur. Les sangles peuvent être utilisées
exclusivement avec des systèmes absorbant l‘énergie. Vériez
avant d‘utiliser votre système si tous les composants sont
compatibles.Lasanglenedoitpasêtreexposéeàdesinuences
préjudiciables, à des substances corrosives, agressives (comme
lesacides,leslessivesalcalines,lesuidesdécapants,leshuiles)
niàdestempératuresextrêmesetàdesammèches.Evitezlors
de l‘utilisation des coups, un frottement sur des matériaux rugueux
et des arêtes vives. Un transport et une utilisation avec le plus
grand soin augmentent la sécurité et la durée de vie de l‘équipement.
La température d‘utilisation permanente du produit dans une
atmosphère sèche est comprise entre –35° et +55° C. En cas
d‘équipement mouillé et de températures négatives, il convient
d‘agir avec prudence L‘humidité et le givre peuvent inuencer
négativement la durabilité et la résistance des sangles et des
cordes.

Pour s‘encorder, seuls les boucles ou anneaux d‘encordement
prévusàceteffetpeuventêtreutilisés(g.3).Encordez-vousavec
