- Before Using Your Appliance
1.1 - Safety Instructions
•
After installation, make sure that the power cable is not trapped underneath the appliance.
•
Please read this booklet thoroughly before installing and switching on the appliance.
•
The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for incorrect installation and use.
•
If this appliance is to replace an old one equipped with a lock, break or remove the lock in the old appliance as a
safety measure to avoid children becoming trapped inside.
•
Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. In the event that the refrigerant circuit has been damaged, avoid open
flames or ignition sources and ventilate the room in which the unit is placed – do not use the appliance until you
have been advised to do so by a service engineer.
•
Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Children must never sit in the drawers or hang from the door.
•
Do not plug this appliance into an extension lead.
•
Do not use old or damaged power supply cables.
•
Do not twist, bend or trap the cable. Cables should always be kept clear of heat sources.
•
When plugging in the appliance, always make sure that your hands are dry.
•
Your old appliances contain insulation gases and refrigerant that must be disposed of properly. Please contact
your local authority for information about the recycling centers.

1.2 – Warnings
•
WARNING: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•
Do not defrost the appliance with other electrical devices (i.e. hair dryer) or any artificial means and do not use
sharp metal objects to remove the ice on the freezer, as this could cause damage to the refrigerant system.
•
Do not operate any electrical appliances inside the refrigerator or freezer.
•
WARNING: Do not place bottles (glass or plastic) containing liquids (especially effervescent liquids) into the
freezer as they could cause the bottle to burst during freezing.
•
WARNING: Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this
appliance.
•
WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
•
WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

Do not touch the cooling surfaces while the appliance operates, especially with wet hands, because the skin may
stick to cold surfaces. -

Do not eat ice that has just been removed from the freezer as this can cause freezer burns to the hands and
tongue.

1.3 - Installation
lnstall and level the appliance on a floor able to take its weight and in a place suitable for its size and use.
lnsert the plug into an appropriate socket. This appliance is already equipped with a Schuko plug. If the plug is not
suitable for your socket, please call an authorized electrician for assistance; do not attempt to change the plug by yourself.
If the plug is damaged in any way — do not attempt to use it. It must be replaced with a new plug.
Do not install the appliance in direct sunlight and close to heat sources. Do not allow the appliance to be exposed to rain.
Choose a dry and well-ventilated area to install the appliance. There should be at least 10 cm of open space along the
sides, top, and back of the freezer.
Before switching it on, place the appliance in upright position and wait at least four hours without moving the appliance.
This will give the refrigerant circuit time to settle and operate efficiently.
The appliance is for use in places within the temperature ranges defined according to the climatic class given on the Data
Label located on the back of the product. The appliance may not operate consistently if placed for extended periods in an
area with a temperature below the cold end of the climate class temperature range for which the appliance is designed.
If the appliance is installed next to another refrigerator or freezer, observe the minimum
distance of 10cm to avoid condensation.
The manufacturer is not responsible for any failure caused by an incorrect installation.
Operating voltage for the appliance fridge is 220-240 V at 50Hz, 1 Phase.
1.4 - Conformity Information
The appliance is designed in compliance with the Directive 2011/65/EU, IEC60335-2-24, IEC60335-1. Directive
2004/108/EC, EN55014-1:2006/+A1:2009,
EN55014-2:1997/+A1:2001/+A2:2008, EN61000-3-2:2006/+A1:2009/+A2:2009 and EN61000-3-3:2008.
This appliance is intended for use in households but is not intended to be used in applications such as;
Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
Farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
Bed and breakfast type environments;
Catering and similar non-retail applications;.

2 - Operating Your Appliance
2.1 - Temperature Adjustment / Operation
Freezer mode (all models)
The appliance temperature is adjusted by turning the thermostat on the Control Panel.
The thermostat should be adjusted according to different environment temperature and the quantity of food being stored
by adjusting the knob of the thermostat.
The knob rotates clockwise from "1" (warmest temperature) to "7" (coldest temperature).
The setting "4" should be correct for normal everyday use.
If a large amount of fresh food is placed in the appliance for freezing, the thermostat should be turned up (clockwise) for a
period of 4-6 hours, after this period it should be returned to its initial setting.
The red lamp is a power indicating lamp. When the power is on, the lamp will be on.
Once power is cut off, wait for at least 5 minutes before plugging in agian to avoid damaging the compressor
system.
2.2 Food Storage in the Appliance
This freezer is a 3 star rated appliance.
The use of a freezer is for freezing fresh food and storing frozen food for long periods of time and making ice
cubes.
Do not put fresh or warm food with frozen food side by side as it can thaw the frozen food. While freezing fresh
food (i.e. meat, fish etc) divide them into smaller portions, this will allow you to defrost only the food you need.
For storing frozen food; the instructions shown on frozen food packages should always be followed carefully, if no
information is provided food should not be stored for more than 3 months from the purchased date.
When buying frozen food; ensure that these have been frozen at suitable temperatures and that the packing is
intact.
Frozen food should be transported in appropriate containers to maintain the quality of the food and should be
placed into the freezer as soon as possible.
If a package of frozen food shows signs of humidity and abnormal swelling it is probable that it has been previously
stored at an unsuitable temperature and that the contents have deteriorated. Do not use this food, dispose of it as
soon as possible.
The storage life of frozen food depends on the room temperature, thermostat setting, how often the door is
opened, the type of food and the length of time required to transport the product from the shop to your home.
Always follow the instructions printed on the package and never exceed the maximum storage life indicated.

- Defrosting and Cleaning
Defrost twice a year or when a frost layer of around 7 mm (1/4“) has formed. To start the defrosting procedure, switch off

the freezer at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug.
All food should be removed and placed in another freezer.
Containers full of warm water may be placed carefully in the freezer to speed up the defrosting.
Do not use pointed or sharp edged objects such as knives, forks to remove the frost.
Never use hairdryers, electrical heaters and other similar electrical appliances for defrosting.
When the defrosting has finished, clean and sponge out all the defrost water which collects at the bottom of the freezer
and dry the interior thoroughly. It is possible to remove the drain plug at the bottom of the freezer and that on the back of
the device to drain to the outside the condensation water which settles on the bottom. Make sure to place a container
under the drain hole at the back of the unit and to ensure that water does not leak into the compressor housing.
You can wipe the inner and outer sides with a soft cloth or a sponge using warm and soapy water (only use neuter and
non-aggressive detergents).
Do not wash your freezer by pouring water into it.
Never use flammable, explosive or corrosive material like thinner, gas, acid for cleaning.
Make sure that your freezer remains unplugged while cleaning.
Once defrosting/cleaning has been completed, plug in the appliance and return to its temperature setting.

The following problems are not causes of breakdown:

circulating pipeline of the refrigerating system.
This is normal.

– Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio
1.1 – Informazioni sulla sicurezza
•
Dopo l'installazione, accertarsi che il cavo di alimentazione non sia bloccato sotto l'apparecchio.
•
Si prega di leggere questo manuale prima di installare e accendere l'apparecchio.
•
Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per malfunzionamenti dovuti ad errato uso ed installazione.
•
Se questo apparecchio deve sostituirne uno vecchio dotato di una serratura, rompere o rimuovere la serratura
nel vecchio apparecchio come una misura di sicurezza per evitare che i bambini possano rimanere intrappolati
dentro al vecchio congelatore.
•
Non danneggiare il circuito refrigerante. Nel caso in cui il circuito refrigerante sia danneggiato, evitare fiamme
libere o fonti di accensione e ventilare il locale in cui l'apparecchio viene collocato - non utilizzare l'apparecchio
fino a quando un tecnico non avrà esaminato il congelatore ed approvato l’uso.
•
Non permettere ai bambini di giocare con l'apparecchio.

Non collegare questo apparecchio ad una prolunga.

Non mangiare il ghiaccio che si è appena tolto dal congelatore in quanto ciò potrebbe causare ustioni alle mani
ed alla lingua.

1.3 - Installazione
Installare e livellare l'apparecchio su un pavimento in grado di sostenere il peso e in un ambiente adatto alle sue
dimensioni e l'uso.
Inserire la spina in una presa appropriata. Questo apparecchio è già dotato di una spina Schuko. Se la spina non è adatta
alla presa, chiamare un elettricista autorizzato per l'assistenza; non tentare di sostituire la spina da soli. Se la spina è
danneggiata in qualche modo - non utilizzare l’apparecchio e farla sostituire da un tecnico autorizzato o da un elettricista.
Non installare l'apparecchio vicino a fonti di calore o esposto alla luce diretta del sole. Non lasciare l'apparecchio esposto
alla pioggia. Scegliete un luogo asciutto e ben ventilato per installare l'apparecchio. Devono esserci almeno 10 cm di
spazio aperto lungo i lati, in alto, e la parte posteriore del congelatore.
Prima di accenderlo, mettere il congelatore in posizione e livellarlo, dopodiché attendere almeno quattro ore senza
spostare l'apparecchio. Questo darà modo al circuito refrigerante di stabilizzarsi ed operare in modo efficiente.
L'apparecchio è destinato all'uso nei luoghi e nei limiti di temperatura definiti in base alla classe climatica riportata
sull'etichetta dei dati si trova sul retro del prodotto. L'apparecchio potrebbe non funzionare in modo corretto se
posizionato per lunghi periodi in una zona con una temperatura inferiore al limite del campo di temperatura classe
climatica per la quale l'apparecchio è stato progettato.
Se l'apparecchio è installato vicino ad un altro frigorifero o congelatore, rispettare una distanza minima di 10 cm tra un
apparecchio e l’altro per evitare la formazione di condensa.
Il produttore non è responsabile per danni causati da un'installazione non corretta.

2 – Utilizzo dell’apparecchio
2.1 – Regolazione della temperatura / Funzionamento
Modalità congelatore (tutti i modelli)
La temperatura apparecchio si regola ruotando il pomello del termostato sul pannello di controllo (Nr. 6).
Il termostato deve essere regolato in base alla temperatura dell’ambiente e alla quantità di cibo presente nel congelatore.
La manopola si ruota in senso orario da "1" (temperatura più calda) a "7" (temperatura più fredda).
L'impostazione "4" è generalmente corretta per il normale uso quotidiano.
Se una grande quantità di alimenti freschi viene posta nell'apparecchio per il congelamento, il termostato dovrebbe
essere alzato (ruotare in senso orario) per un periodo di 4-6 ore, dopo tale periodo, deve essere riportato alla sua
impostazione iniziale.
La spia rossa indica l'accensione. Quando l'apparecchio è acceso, anche la spia rossa sarà accesa. Una volta che il
congelatore viene spento, attendere almeno 5 minuti prima di collegare di nuovo alla corrente per evitare di danneggiare
il compressore.
2.2 Stoccaggio del cibo nel congelatore

L'utilizzo del congelatore è indicato per congelare gli alimenti freschi, conservare gli alimenti surgelati per lunghi periodi
di tempo e a fare cubetti di ghiaccio.
Non mettere cibi freschi o caldi con cibi surgelati fianco a fianco, in quanto possono scongelare i cibi surgelati. Per il
congelamento dei cibi freschi (ad esempio carne, pesce, ecc.) è indicato dividerli in porzioni più piccole, questo vi
permetterà di scongelare solo il cibo di cui avete bisogno.
Per la conservazione di alimenti surgelati; le istruzioni riportate sulle confezioni di alimenti surgelati devono essere
sempre seguite attentamente, se non vengono fornite informazioni gli alimenti non devono essere conservati per più di 3
mesi dalla data di acquisto.
Per l'acquisto di alimenti surgelati, assicurarsi che siano stati congelati a temperature adeguate e che l'imballaggio sia
integro.
Gli alimenti congelati devono essere trasportati in contenitori adeguati per mantenere la qualità degli alimenti e devono
essere messi nel congelatore il più presto possibile.
Se una confezione di alimenti congelati mostra segni di umidità e di gonfiore anomalo è probabile che sia stata
precedentemente conservata a una temperatura non adeguata e che il contenuto si sia deteriorato. Non utilizzare
questo alimento, smaltirlo il prima possibile.
La durata di conservazione degli alimenti surgelati dipende dalla temperatura ambiente, dall'impostazione del
termostato, dalla frequenza di apertura della porta, dal tipo di alimento e dal tempo necessario per il trasporto del
prodotto dal negozio a casa. Seguire sempre le istruzioni stampate sulla confezione e non superare mai la durata
massima di conservazione indicata.

– Scongelamento e pulizia
Effettuare lo scongelamento due volte l'anno o quando si forma uno strato di ghiaccio di circa 7 mm (1/4 ") sulle pareti
interne. Per avviare la procedura di sbrinamento, portare il termostato sulla posizione “0” e scollegare la spina di
alimentazione.
Tutto il cibo deve essere rimosso e collocato in un altro congelatore.
Dei contenitori pieni di acqua calda possono essere posizionati con cautela nel congelatore per accelerare lo
sbrinamento. Non utilizzare oggetti appuntiti o affilati come coltelli, forchette e simili per rimuovere il ghiaccio. Non
utilizzare mai asciugacapelli, riscaldatori elettrici e altri apparecchi elettrici simili per lo scongelamento.
Quando lo scongelamento è terminato, pulire ed asciugare con una spugna tutta l'acqua di scongelamento che è rimasta
all’interno del congelatore. E’ possibile rimuovere il tappo dello scarico sul fondo del congelatore e quello sul retro
dell’apparecchio per potere scaricare all’esterno l’acqua di condensa che si deposita sul fondo. Fare attenzione a
posizionare un contenitore sotto il foro di drenaggio sul retro dell’apparecchio e vegliare a che l’acqua non coli dentro al
vano compressore.
È possibile pulire le parti interne ed esterne con un panno morbido o con spugna umida usando acqua tiepida e sapone
(usare solo detergenti neutri e non aggressivi).
Non lavare il congelatore versandovi sopra o all’interno dell’acqua.
Non usare mai materiali infiammabili, esplosivi o corrosivi come diluente, solventi, gas, o acidi per la pulizia. Assicurarsi
che il congelatore sia scollegato dalla presa elettrica durante la pulizia.
Una volta che lo sbrinamento / pulizia è stata completata, collegare l'apparecchio ed impostare la temperatura
desiderata.

– Problemi e soluzioni
I seguenti comportamenti non sono da considerarsi malfunzionamenti:

– Vor der Verwendung des Geräts
1.1 – Sicherheitshinweise
•Achten Sie nach der Installation darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht unter dem Gerät verstopft ist.
•Bitte lesen Sie dieses Handbuch, bevor Sie das Gerät installieren und einschalten.
•Der Hersteller lehnt jede Verantwortung für Fehlfunktionen aufgrund von unsachgemäßer Verwendung und
Installation ab.
•Wenn dieses Gerät ein altes durch ein Schloss ersetzen soll, brechen oder entfernen Sie das Schloss im alten
Gerät als Sicherheitsmaßnahme, um zu verhindern, dass Kinder im alten Gefrierschrank eingeschlossen
werden.
•Beschädigen Sie nicht den Kältekreislauf. Wenn der Kältemittelkreislauf beschädigt ist, vermeiden Sie offene
Flammen oder Zündquellen und belüften Sie den Raum, in dem sich das Gerät befindet - verwenden Sie das
Gerät erst, wenn ein Techniker den Gefrierschrank untersucht und seine Verwendung genehmigt hat.
•Lassen Sie keine Kinder mit dem Gerät spielen.

1.2 – Warnungen

mit dem Gerät spielen.

abtauen und keine scharfen Metallgegenstände verwenden, um Eis im Gefrierschrank zu entfernen, da dies

•Berühren Sie während des Betriebs des Gerätes nicht die Kühlflächen, insbesondere nicht mit nassen
Händen, da die Haut an kalten Oberflächen haften kann.
•Essen Sie kein Eis, das gerade aus dem Gefrierschrank entfernt wurde, da dies Verbrennungen an Händen
und Zunge verursachen kann.

1.3 - Installation
Installieren und richten Sie das Gerät auf einem tragfähigen Boden und in einer Umgebung, die für seine Größe
und Verwendung geeignet ist.
Stecken Sie den Stecker in eine geeignete Steckdose. Dieses Gerät ist bereits mit einem Schukostecker
ausgestattet. Wenn der Stecker nicht in Ihre Steckdose passt, wenden Sie sich an einen autorisierten Elektriker;
versuchen Sie nicht, den Stecker selbst auszutauschen. Wenn der Stecker in irgendeiner Weise beschädigt ist -
verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht und lassen Sie es von einem autorisierten Servicetechniker oder Elektriker
ersetzen. Nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen oder in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung installieren. Lassen Sie das
Gerät nicht dem Regen ausgesetzt. Wählen Sie für die Installation des Gerätes einen trockenen, gut belüfteten
Ort. An den Seiten, der Oberseite und der Rückseite des Gefrierschranks muss ein Freiraum von mindestens
10 cm vorhanden sein.
Bevor Sie den Gefrierschrank einschalten, stellen Sie ihn in Position und richten Sie ihn aus, warten Sie dann
mindestens vier Stunden, ohne das Gerät zu bewegen. Dadurch kann sich der Kältemittelkreislauf stabilisieren
und effizient arbeiten.
Das Gerät ist für den Einsatz an Orten und innerhalb von Temperaturgrenzen bestimmt, die gemäß der
Klimaklasse auf dem Datenschild auf der Rückseite des Produkts definiert sind. Das Gerät funktioniert
möglicherweise nicht einwandfrei, wenn es über einen längeren Zeitraum in einem Bereich mit einer
Temperatur unterhalb der Grenze des Klassentemperaturbereichs aufgestellt wird, für den das Gerät ausgelegt
wurde.
Wenn das Gerät in der Nähe eines anderen Kühl- oder Gefrierschranks aufgestellt wird, halten Sie einen
Mindestabstand von 10 cm zwischen den Geräten ein, um Kondensation zu vermeiden.
Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Installation entstehen. Die Betriebsspannung
für das Gerät beträgt 220-240 V, 50 Hz, 1 Phase.

2 – Verwendung des Geräts
2.1 – Temperaturregelung / Betrieb
Gefriermodus (alle Modelle)
Die Gerätetemperatur kann durch Drehen des Thermostatknopfes auf dem Bedienfeld (Nr. 6) eingestellt werden.
Der Thermostat muss entsprechend der Raumtemperatur und der Menge der Speisen im Gefrierfach eingestellt
werden. Der Knopf kann im Uhrzeigersinn von "1" (wärmste Temperatur) auf "7" (kälteste Temperatur) gedreht
werden.
Die Einstellung "4" ist im Allgemeinen für den normalen täglichen Gebrauch korrekt.
Wenn eine große Menge an frischen Lebensmitteln in den Gefrierschrank gestellt wird, sollte der Thermostat für
einen Zeitraum von 4-6 Stunden nach oben (im Uhrzeigersinn) gedreht werden, danach sollte er auf seine
ursprüngliche Einstellung zurückgesetzt werden.
Das rote Licht zeigt die Zündung an. Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet auch das rote Licht. Nach dem
Abschalten des Gefrierschranks sollten Sie mindestens 5 Minuten warten, bevor Sie das Gerät wieder an die
Stromversorgung anschließen, um eine Beschädigung des Kompressors zu vermeiden.
2.2 Nahrungsmittellagerung
Ein Gefrierschrank dient zum Einfrieren von frischen Lebensmitteln und zur langfristigen Lagerung von
Tiefkühlkost sowie zur Herstellung von Eiswürfeln.
Legen Sie frische oder warme Lebensmittel nicht mit Tiefkühlkost nebeneinander, da sie die Tiefkühlkost auftauen
können. Teilen Sie frische Lebensmittel (d.h. Fleisch, Fisch usw.) beim Einfrieren in kleinere Portionen auf, damit
Sie nur die Lebensmittel auftauen können, die Sie benötigen.
Für die Lagerung von Tiefkühlkost; die Anweisungen auf den Tiefkühlkostverpackungen sollten immer sorgfältig
befolgt werden; wenn keine Informationen angegeben werden, sollten die Lebensmittel nicht länger als 3 Monate
ab dem Kaufdatum gelagert werden.
Wenn Sie Tiefkühlkost kaufen, stellen Sie sicher, dass diese bei geeigneten Temperaturen eingefroren wurden
und dass die Verpackung intakt ist.
Gefrorene Lebensmittel sollten in geeigneten Behältern transportiert werden, um die Qualität der Lebensmittel zu
erhalten, und sollten so schnell wie möglich in die Tiefkühltruhe gelegt werden.
Wenn ein Paket mit gefrorenen Lebensmitteln Anzeichen von Feuchtigkeit und anormaler Schwellung zeigt, ist es
wahrscheinlich, dass es zuvor bei einer ungeeigneten Temperatur gelagert wurde und der Inhalt sich
verschlechtert hat. Verwenden Sie diese Lebensmittel nicht, sondern entsorgen Sie sie so schnell wie möglich.
Die Haltbarkeit von Tiefkühlkost hängt von der Raumtemperatur, der Einstellung des Thermostats, der Häufigkeit
des Öffnens der Tür, der Art der Lebensmittel und der Dauer des Transports vom Geschäft zu Ihnen nach Hause
ab. Befolgen Sie immer die auf der Verpackung aufgedruckten Anweisungen und überschreiten Sie nie die
angegebene maximale Haltbarkeitsdauer.

– Auftauen und Reinigen
Zweimal im Jahr auftauen oder wenn sich eine Eisschicht von etwa 7 mm (1/4") an den Innenwänden bildet. Um
den Abtauvorgang zu starten, stellen Sie den Thermostat auf die Position "0" und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.
Alle Lebensmittel sollten entfernt und in einen anderen Gefrierschrank gelegt werden.
Mit heißem Wasser gefüllte Behälter können vorsichtig in den Gefrierschrank gestellt werden, um das Abtauen zu
beschleunigen. Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder spitzen Gegenstände wie Messer, Gabeln und dergleichen,
um Eis zu entfernen. Verwenden Sie zum Auftauen niemals einen Fön, eine elektrische Heizung oder ähnliche
elektrische Geräte.
Wenn das Auftauen abgeschlossen ist, reinigen und trocknen Sie das gesamte Auftauwasser, das im
Gefrierschrank verblieben ist, mit einem Schwamm. Es ist möglich, die Ablassschraube am Boden des
Gefrierschranks und die an der Rückseite des Gerätes zu entfernen, um außerhalb des Kondenswassers, das sich
auf dem Boden ablagert, abfließen zu können. Stellen Sie einen Behälter unter die Entwässerungsöffnung auf der
Rückseite des Gerätes und achten Sie darauf, dass das Wasser nicht in den Kompressorraum gelangt.
Die Innen- und Außenteile können mit einem weichen Tuch oder einem feuchten Schwamm mit lauwarmem
Wasser und Seife gereinigt werden (nur neutrale und nicht aggressive Reinigungsmittel verwenden).
Waschen Sie den Gefrierschrank nicht, indem Sie ihn über oder in das Wasser gießen.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung niemals brennbare, explosive oder korrosive Materialien wie Verdünner,
Lösungsmittel, Gase oder Säuren. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Gefrierschrank während der Reinigung aus der
Steckdose gezogen ist.
Nach Abschluss der Abtauung/Reinigung schließen Sie das Gerät an, stellen Sie die gewünschte Temperatur.

- Probleme und Lösungen
