IL NUOVO CAVO DEL MINI AVVIATORE 1498MN/12
AVRÀ LE SEGUENTI CARATTERISTICHE MIGLIORATIVE:
• protezione dello strumento incrementata in caso di non corretto utilizzo
• in caso di anomalia, segnalazione visiva (led) e segnalazione acustica
• blocco dell’avviamento se la batteria interna scende al di sotto dei 10,8V
(preservando la batteria)
• maggiore potenza erogata grazie alla minore perdita di tensione
• minore surriscaldamento dei cavi
• eliminazione dei tempi di attesa tra un avviamento e l’altro
• per una maggiore sicurezza, se il veicolo non parte al primo tentativo
di avviamento, occorre scollegare una delle due pinze per riarmare il relè

COME SI USA L’ AVVIATORE D’EMERGENZA
Utilizzo dell’Avviatore d’emergenza per l’avviamento di veicoli
1. Indossare sempre occhiali protettivi e allontanare il volto dalla batteria durante le operazioni di collegamento.
2. Controllare che la batteria montata sul veicolo sia da 12 volt.
ATTENZIONE: LA NON CORRISPONDENZA TRA IL VOLTAGGIO DELL’AVVIATORE D’ EMERGENZA E LA TENSIONE
DELL’IMPIANTO DEL VEICOLO PUO’ CAUSARE ESPLOSIONI, DANNI AL VEICOLO, AL PRODOTTO E ALLE PERSONE.
3. Collegare il cavo di avviamento in dotazione e vericare che entrambi i led (rosso e verde) presenti sul connettore lampeggino.
ATTENZIONE: NON CONNETTERE MAI L’AVVIATORE DI EMERGENZA ALLA BATTERIA SE IL LED VERDE E’ ACCE-
SO FISSO PERCHE’ IN QUESTA MODALITA’ LE PROTEZIONI SONO DISABILITATE.
4. Individuare il polo corrispondente alla massa del veicolo; in genere collegata al morsetto negativo.
ATTENZIONE: non invertire mai la polarità. Collegare sempre il conduttore di uscita con pinza rossa (+) al polo positivo della
batteria ed il conduttore di uscita con pinza nera (-) alla massa del veicolo.
ATTENZIONE: L’INVERSIONE DI POLARITA’ PUO’ CAUSARE ESPLOSIONI, DANNI AL VEICOLO, AL PRODOTTO E
ALLE PERSONE.
ATTENZIONE: vericare che i cavi dell’avviatore d’emergenza siano lontani da ventole, da parti in movimento e dal condotto
del carburante.
6. Vericare l’avvenuta accensione del led verde sul cavo dell’avviatore.
ATTENZIONE: quando si accende il led verde si hanno a disposizione 30 secondi per avviare il veicolo. Superati i 30 secondi
è necessario ripristinare il cavo di accensione scollegando e ricollegando una delle due pinze.
7. Avviare il veicolo.
8. Una volta avviato il veicolo, scollegare il conduttore di uscita con pinza nera dalla massa del veicolo.
9. Scollegare il conduttore di uscita con pinza rossa dal polo positivo (+) della batteria.
ATTENZIONE: SE L’AVVIAMENTO NON VA A BUON FINE E’ NECESSARIO SCOLLEGARE UNA DELLE DUE PINZE
PER RIPRISTINARE IL CAVO DI AVVIAMENTO.
ATTENZIONE Caricare sempre l’Avviatore d’emergenza dopo ogni utilizzo.
IMPORTANTE Una corretta manutenzione della batteria del vostro veicolo ne allunga la vita; una volta arrivati a destinazione
ricordatevi di collegare un caricabatteria per veicoli alla vostra batteria per farla tornare in piena efcienza.

Batteria interna scarica. Sconnettere il cavo e mettere in carica l’avviatore
d’emergenza.
Il cavo di avviamento, dopo il collegamento alla
batteria dell’auto, non si attiva (i led lampeggiano)
Batteria auto con tensione troppo bassa (inferiore
a 1,5V).
Utilizzare sistemi di avviamento differenti
Il cavo di avviamento, dopo il collegamento alla
batteria dell’auto, indica led rosso sso ed emette
suono intermittente
E’ presente una inversione dei cavi alla batteria. Sconnettere i cavi dalla batteria e riconnetterli nel
modo corretto.
Il cavo di avviamento, dopo il collegamento alla

suono continuo.
E’ presente un cortocircuito. Sconnettere i cavi dalla batteria e controllare la
vettura per eliminare il cortocircuito.
Il display LCD indica la scritta “EA” Una cella della batteria dell’avviatore di emergen-
za ha una tensione troppo bassa
Provare a ricaricare l’avviatore per almeno due
ore, scollegare l’alimentatore e poi procedere con
una carica normale. Se la scritta non scompare
rivolgersi al servizio di assistenza.

THE NEW CABLE MINI STARTER 1498MN / 12 WILL HAVE
THE FOLLOWING OUTSTANDING FEATURES:
• the enhanced tool protection in the event of incorrect use
• In case of anomaly, visual indication (LED) and acoustic signal
• interlock if the internal battery drops below 10.8V (while preserving the
battery)
• greater power output due to less power loss
• less overheating of the cables
• elimination of the waiting time between starts and the other
• For added security, if the vehicle does not start at the rst start attempt,
you must disconnect one of the two clamps to reset the relay

HOW TO USE THE EMERGENCY BOOSTER
Using the emergency booster to start vehicles
1. Always wear protective goggles and keep your face away from the battery during connection operations.
2. Check that the installed battery is a 12V.
CAUTION: IF THE VOLTAGE OF THE EMERGENCY BOOSTER DOES NOT MATCH THE VOLTAGE OF THE VEHI-
CLE’S SYSTEM, AN EXPLOSION, OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, THE PRODUCT AND PEOPLE COULD OCCUR.
3. Connect the starter cable supplied with the booster and check that both LEDs (red and green) on the connector are
ashing.
CAUTION: DO NOT CONNECT THE EMERGENCY BOOSTER TO THE BATTERY IF THE GREEN LED IS GLOWING
SOLID, BECAUSE PROTECTION IS DISABLED IN THIS MODE.
4. Determine which post of the battery is grounded to the chassis; in most vehicles, the negative post is grounded to the
chassis.
CAUTION: Never reverse polarity. Always connect the output lead with red clamp (+) to the positive post of the battery,
and the output lead with black clamp (-) to the vehicle’s chassis.
CAUTION: REVERSED POLARITY CAN CAUSE AN EXPLOSION OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE, THE PRODUCT
AND PEOPLE.
CAUTION: Check that the cables of the emergency booster are kept away from fans, moving parts and the fuel pipe.
6. Check that the green LED on the booster cable is on.
CAUTION: When the green LED goes on, the vehicle should be started within 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, the ignition
cable must be restored by disconnecting and connecting again either clamp.
7. Crank the engine.
8. After the engine starts, disconnect the output lead with black clamp from the vehicle’s chassis.
9. Disconnect the output lead with red clamp from the positive clip (+) of the battery.
CAUTION: IF THE ENGINE DOES NOT START, DISCONNECT EITHER CLAMP TO RESTORE THE STARTER CABLE.
CAUTION: Charge the emergency booster after each use.
IMPORTANT! Maintaining your vehicle’s battery properly will prolong its life; when you reach your destination, please
remember to plug a vehicle battery charger into your battery, to fully restore its efciency.
Troubleshooting
Problem Cause Solution
When starter cable is connected, a continuous
sound is heard.
Internal battery is at. Disconnect cable and charge emergency booster.
After starter cable has been connected to car
battery, it is not activated (LEDs blink).
Car battery voltage is too low (<1.5V). Use different start systems.
After starter cable has been connected to car
battery, red LED glows solid and an intermittent
sound is heard.
Battery cables have been reversed. Disconnect cables from battery and connect
them again correctly.
After starter cable has been connected to car
battery, red LED glows solid and a continuous
sound is heard.
A short-circuit has occurred. Disconnect cables from battery and check vehicle
to clear short-circuit.
LCD display shows the word “EA”. Voltage of a cell of emergency booster battery
is too low.
Try to charge booster for at least two hours,
disconnect power supply, and then start a
normal charging cycle. If the word “EA” does not
disappear, please contact service centre.
