Application
Super Plug is a socket that allows you to turn on and off an electric user via the home WIFI network, via
apps for Android and IOS devices, and by drivers for the CONTROL4 system.
2.
Safety information
This manual contains the information necessary to operate safely with the device. Anyone who interacts
with the device must first have read this documentation, especially the present safety information. This
document supplements and does not replace any law or safety directive.
The device was developed using state-of-the-art technologies and following the safety regulations in force
at the time; it is not possible, however, to exclude with certainty possible damages or interactions with
other devices during its operation. The device complies with EMC line guides and harmonized European
standards; any changes to the device may affect EMC compatibility.
The supply voltage must be strictly within the range indicated in this manual and on the device; danger of
fire or explosion in case of supply outside this range. In accordance with directive 2002/96 / EC, electronic
devices must be disposed of in the appropriate facilities and not in the collection of solid urban waste.

Installation requirements
Super Plug requires the following requirements to work correctly:
● A wall socket in Schuko format
● IEEE 802.11 n / g / b 2.4GHz WIFI network (whose name and access key must be known) with DHCP
enabled
● At least one Android device (version 4.1 or higher) or IOS (version 9.0 or higher) with the free Adeo
Control App installed, even just for the installation phase

Registration in the wifi network
1 Download the Adeo Control App from

2 Make sure your smartphone is connected to the WIFI network where you want to install the
module
3 Press the + button on the bottom
4 Enter the password for your WIFI network
5 Press and hold the device configuration button for 6 seconds
6 Press Start Configuration
7 Wait a few seconds and enter a name for the device
8 Choose the type of device (between Super Plug or Super IO)
9 Press the Save and Close button
10 Device DVES will appear: DVES_XXXXXXXX, necessary for integration with Control4 (see
following pages)
For correct operation with the control devices that will be connected, it is recommended to associate a
static IP address to the device (instead of operating in DHCP). The device does not support static addressing
but you can apply the IP Reservation on your router (if supported).
During the procedure, which takes a few seconds, the LED of the plug flashes rapidly. In case of error, vice
versa, it is reported that no plug has been found; in this case, it is advisable to try again.

Use from the App
The Adeo Control App allows, in addition to recording, to control one or more sockets on the network in
the WIFI local network.
Once the Super Plug has been registered with the procedure described above, click on the button on the
right to power on or off the socket.
The App shows

Use with Control4
The Super Plug can be used within the CONTROL4 system through the free driver provided by ADEO GROUP
(https://adeogroup.it/sp-c4-1-super-plug). Thanks to this driver, the plug command can be integrated with
the other CONTROL4 system functions, easily creating home automation functions integrated with audio /
video distribution.
Once the driver has been inserted inside the COMPOSER, it is necessary to associate it with a Super Plug
through its unique serial number, detectable through the app as shown above.
Enter the serial code (in the format DVES_XXXXXXXXX) in the PLUG ID field of the driver and press Set:
Once the serial number has been set, wait a few seconds for the COMPOSER to scan the network to identify
the plug. When the plug is found, its IP address is automatically reported in the IP ADDRESS field instead of
the default value; the other information fields are also automatically updated:
PLUG NAME Label assigned to the plug through the Super Plug
FIRMWARE VERSION Version number of the firmware inside the plug
HARDWARE VERSION Plug hardware version ID
MANUFACTURER Manufacturer
WIFI SIGNAL WiFi Signal
If an automatic recognition does not occur, from the ACTIONS tab just click on Discovery.
At this point the driver is ready to interact with the plug; it is possible to test the communication using the
buttons provided in the driver's ACTIONS section:

The debug useful actions are:
DETECT Force reading of plug information (version etc ...)
DISCOVERY Launch the plug-in search procedure inside the network, and detect the IP address of
the plug associated with the PLUG ID specified in the driver
The driver provides the RELAY control in the CONNECTIONS section of COMPOSER; it can be associated with
another driver to be inserted in the NAVIGATOR graphics, or controlled by programming (events, schedules,
etc.)

Tips & Tricks
At this point, once inserted in the Control4 ecosystem, the driver can be used to switching: posts,
appliances, fans, electric heaters.
For example, if we have to control a Pellet Stove (and there is no specific driver), we can very easily control
it as a climate zone for heating control (... even remote!).

Troubleshooting
ISSUE HELP
The plug does not register to
the WIFI network
Check that the WIFI network is set to 2.4 GHz
Check that the WIFI network has the DHCP service active
Try repeating the registration procedure by bringing the plug and the
telephone closer to the WIFI router
The plug LED flashes The plug is not connected to the WIFI network
Check that it is installed in the radius of action of the WIFI router, and that
it has been correctly configured.
Repeat the registration procedure if necessary.
The plug is occasionally not
controlled or takes a long
time to turn on / off
Check that the plug is not near other plugs or radio / WIFI devices that can
interfere with its integrated antenna
Check that the plug is close enough to the WIFI router to have good radio
coverage. Try moving it closer to the router
The plug turns off

The plug may be in protection.
Check that the supply voltage is within the tolerance limits with respect to
230 V, or that the connected consumer does not absorb more than 16A
