1. CHICCO BEBÈCARE EASY-TECH
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech è un sistema anti-abban-
dono universale studiato e sviluppato per segnalare la
presenza del bambino in auto e avvisare l’utente nel
momento in cui dovesse accidentalmente allontanarsi
dall’auto senza il bambino.

• L’utilizzo del dispositivo non sostituisce in alcun caso la
responsabilità e/o la vigilanza del conducente del veicolo
(e/o degli altri occupanti dello stesso). Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech costituisce solo uno strumento di supporto:
non lasciare mai il bambino incustodito in auto.
• Artsana non potrà in alcun modo essere ritenuta re-
sponsabile in caso di eventi e/o conseguenze pregiudi-
zievoli (anche legate al non corretto funzionamento del
dispositivo elettronico) di qualsivoglia natura, costituendo
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech unicamente uno strumen-
to di ausilio ed allarme per la prevenzione di eventi e/o
conseguenze causati da dimenticanza.
• L’utilizzo del dispositivo non sostituisce in alcun caso
la vigilanza e responsabilità del conducente/affidatario/
vigilante/tutore o di chi abbia comunque in custodia il
bambino.
AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
• Chicco BebèCare easy-tech non è impermeabile e se
dovesse entrare in contatto con liquidi di qualsiasi tipo
potrebbe smettere di funzionare.
• La corretta conservazione di Chicco BebèCare easy-te-
ch è importante per mantenere inalterato il funziona-
mento di Chicco BebèCare e deve rispettare le limitazioni
di temperatura (da -20°C a +60° C) e umidità (< 95%).
• Attenzione! Rischio di esplosione se viene sostituita la
batteria con una di tipo errato.

Non ingerire la batteria, pericolo di ustioni chimiche.
Questo prodotto contiene una batteria a bottone.
Se la batteria a bottone viene ingerita, può causare gravi
ustioni interne in appena 2 ore e può portare alla morte.
Tenere le batterie nuove e usate lontano dai bambini.
Se il vano batterie non si chiude in modo sicuro, inter-
rompere l’uso del prodotto e tenerlo lontano dai bambini.
Se pensate che le batterie potrebbero essere state in-
gerite o inserite all’interno di qualsiasi parte del corpo,
rivolgersi immediatamente al medico.
• Accertarsi che lo smartphone sia acceso e abbia auto-
nomia sufficiente durante l’utilizzo di Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech.
• Durante la prima installazione, ad ogni inserimento
dell’account famiglia e in corrispondenza dell’invio di mes-
saggi di allarme è necessario disporre di una connessione
internet (rete dati mobile o WiFi).
• Chicco BebèCare easy-tech funziona solo in presenza
di uno smartphone con APP Chicco BebèCare installata.
• Se si spegne lo smartphone il sistema Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech potrebbe non funzionare.
• Se si danneggia il Bluetooth® dello smartphone il siste-
ma Chicco BebèCare easy-tech non funziona.
• In assenza di una connessione internet (rete dati mobile
o WiFi) non è assicurata la piena funzionalità della APP.
• Con la modalità aereo attivata il sistema Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech non funziona.
• L’APP Chicco BebèCare deve essere scaricata sola-
mente da store ufficiali.
• Nel caso non vi sia connessione internet (rete dati mo-
bile o WiFi) Chicco BebèCare easy-tech attiva corretta-
mente l’allarme 0 e l’allarme di Primo Livello, mentre po-
trebbe non essere in grado di inviare i messaggi di allarme
ai numeri di emergenza (Allarme di Secondo Livello).
• Affinché la APP Chicco BebèCare sia in grado di sup-
portare il completo funzionamento del sistema, è obbli-
gatorio consentire sempre di accedere alla posizione dello

• Per gli smartphone con sistema operativo iOS, ad ogni
nuovo «Log in» è necessario fare tap sul dispositivo as-
sociato per connetterlo. Affinché venga mantenuta la
connessione automatica tra dispositivo Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech e APP Chicco BebèCare si suggerisci di non
effettuare il log out, se non strettamente necessario.
• Per garantire in qualsiasi condizione il corretto funzio-
namento del sistema non forzare la chiusura della App:
non scorrere verso l’alto la App.
• Per verificare il corretto funzionamento di Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech è importante fare periodicamente delle prove di
apertura/chiusura dell’accessorio, verificando il relativo stato
della APP (Capitolo 1.1, paragrafo e)).
La mancata osservanza di quanto sopra comporta il malfunzio-
namento di Chicco BebèCare easy-tech e/o dell’ APP Chicco
BebèCare con conseguente disabilitazione del sistema e/o
mancato invio e/o ricevimento dei messaggi di allarme.
ATTENZIONE
Controllo da effettuare ogni volta che si utilizza Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech:
• Accertarsi che lo smartphone sia acceso e abbia auto-
nomia sufficiente durante l’utilizzo di Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech.
• Il Bluetooth® deve essere attivo.
• La modalità “aereo” deve essere disattivata.
• Il GPS deve essere sempre attivo.
Controllare nell’APP Chicco BebèCare di possedere suf-
ficienti messaggi di allarme. In mancanza procedere all’ac-
quisto del pacchetto necessario.
• In caso si utilizzino contemporaneamente due o più
smartphone su cui è installata la APP Chicco BebèCare
occorre identificare quello effettivamente connesso al
dispositivo.
•Prima di ogni viaggio verificare che il dispositivo sia chiu-
so completamente e che lo stato rilevato dalla APP Chic-
co BebèCare sia “connesso – bambino seduto”.
La mancata osservanza di quanto sopra comporta il mal-
funzionamento di Chicco BebèCare easy-tech e/o dell’
APP Chicco BebèCare con conseguente disabilitazione
del sistema e/o mancato invio e/o ricevimento dei mes-
saggi di allarme.
la nuova password deve essere condivisa con tutti gli utenti che
utilizzano lo stesso account famiglia.
c) Inserimento numeri di emergenza
Al primo accesso è necessario inserire i numeri di emergenza
ai quali verranno inviati i messaggi di allarme (secondo livello)
contenente i dati che serviranno a geolocalizzare l’area in cui
si trova il bambino. I numeri di emergenza da inserire sono un
minimo di 3 fino ad un massimo 5. I numeri di emergenza de-
vono essere selezionati dalla rubrica del proprio smartphone
e possono essere aggiunti, cancellati e/o sostituti nel tempo.
IMPORTANTE: Durante questa operazione è necessario di-
sporre di una connessione internet (rete dati mobile o WiFi).
IMPORTANTE: I numeri di emergenza devono essere numeri
di telefonia mobile, non di rete fissa o di emergenza nazionale.
IMPORTANTE: Effettuare sempre una verifica di correttezza e
funzionamento dei numeri di emergenza dopo aver completato
l’inserimento.
d) Associazione del dispositivo con l’account famiglia
Per associare il dispositivo Chicco BebèCare easy-tech all’ac-
count famiglia è necessario seguire attentamente le indicazio-
ni riportate nella App Chicco BebèCare, facendo attenzione a
quanto segue.
1) Procedere con la scansione del QR code, che si trova all’in-
terno della confezione
2) Chiudere il dispositivo (fino a quando il logo Chicco non sarà
completamente visibile attraverso l’apposita finestra ricavata sul
guscio bianco) (Fig.1) per procedere alla prima associazione.
Per garantire la connessione Bluetooth® assicurarsi di essere in
prossimità dello smartphone. Il sistema si attiva/connette dopo
alcuni secondi dalla chiusura del dispositivo.
Possono essere associati allo stesso account famiglia fino ad
un massimo di 4 dispositivi Chicco BebèCare (seggiolini con
sensori integrati e/o dispositivi anti-abbandono). Lo specifico
dispositivo può essere associato ad un SOLO account famiglia
in modo irreversibile.
IMPORTANTE: Durante la scansione del QR è necessario di-
sporre di una connessione internet (rete dati mobile o WiFi).
e) Verificare corretto funzionamento del dispositivo
Al primo utilizzo, per verificare il corretto funzionamento di
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech è importante fare delle prove,
verificando il relativo stato della APP come segue:
- Chiudere l’accessorio: stato rilevato dalla APP Chicco
BebèCare “connesso – bambino seduto”
- Successivamente aprire l’accessorio: gli stati possibili rilevati
dalla APP possono essere “connesso” o “disconnesso” a se-
conda di quanto tempo passa tra l’apertura dell’accessorio e la
visualizzazione in APP.
f) Inserimento dati del bambino
Dopo aver associato il dispositivo all’account famiglia, è neces-
sario inserire il nome e la data di nascita del bambino. È possibile
anche inserire una sua foto.
1.2 COME FUNZIONA CHICCO BEBÈCARE EASY-TECH
Posizionare il bambino sul seggiolino e assicurarlo con i sistemi di
ritenuta previsti dalla tipologia di seggiolino in uso. Utilizzare l’ap-
posita clip (A) posta sul guscio bianco del dispositivo per fissare
l’accessorio preferibilmente allo spallaccio del seggiolino (Fig.2).
A questo punto chiudere completamente il dispositivo come
indicato nel Capitolo 1.1, Paragrafo d), Punto 2.
Quando è chiuso con il logo Chicco completamente visibile
attraverso l’apposita finestra ricavata sul guscio bianco, l’utente

a) Scaricare la APP Chicco BebèCare
È necessario scaricare la APP Chicco BebèCare. Al primo ac-
cesso, la APP fornirà tutte le istruzioni da seguire per registrare
l’account e per utilizzare Chicco BebèCare easy-tech.
b) Creazione dell’account famiglia
È necessario creare un “account famiglia” con un’unica pas-
sword. Questo account sarà l’unico a poter essere utilizzato da
coloro che useranno quello specifico dispositivo. La password è
condivisa con tutti gli utenti che interagiranno con il dispositivo.
IMPORTANTE: Nell’operazione di creazione dell’account fa-
miglia è necessario disporre di una connessione internet (rete
dati mobile o WiFi).
IMPORTANTE: Qualora la password famiglia venga modificata,
viene avvisato dell’attivazione attraverso un apposito segnale
acustico di risveglio. A seguire parte un suono intermittente
che avvisa della ricerca in corso del segnale Bluetooth® dello
smartphone. Non appena quest’ultimo si connette l’utente vie-
ne avvisato da un «beep» di avvenuta connessione.
Verificare che lo stato rilevato dalla APP Chicco BebèCare sia
“connesso – bambino seduto”.
Da questo momento in poi il dispositivo è attivo e la presenza
del bambino è monitorabile attraverso la APP Chicco BebèCare.
ATTENZIONE! Se la connessione non avviene entro 20 secon-
di, l’utente viene avvisato da un breve segnale acustico (mancata
connessione). Se il dispositivo rimane chiuso, Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech continua autonomamente la ricerca del segna-
le Bluetooth® dello smartphone per 3 minuti, al termine dei
quali, se la connessione non è ancora avvenuta, viene emesso
un breve segnale acustico. Ad ogni modo, seppur senza alcuna
ulteriore segnalazione acustica, il dispositivo rimane attivo alla
ricerca di una connessione Bluetooth® fino a nuova apertura. Il
sistema di allarme si attiva nel momento in cui lo smartphone
connesso al dispositivo si allontana dall’auto su cui è presente
l’accessorio chiuso.
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech prevede tre livelli di allarme:
• Allarme 0: se il bambino viene lasciato a bordo e lo smarpho-
ne si allontana dalla macchina solo per alcuni istanti, il sistema
invierà una semplice notifica di allontanamento. Qualora però
l’allontanamento dovesse superare i 3 minuti di tempo a quel
punto scatterà l’allarme di primo livello.
• Allarme di primo livello: qualora lo smartphone dovesse
allontanarsi dall’auto su cui è installato il dispositivo attivo per
più di 3 minuti, comparirà sullo smartphone un allarme acustico
e visivo che è possibile silenziare entro 40 secondi. Il riavvicina-
mento dello smartphone al dispositivo non determina il cessato
allarme, ma è indispensabile interagire con la APP premendo
il pulsante “STOP”.
• Allarme di secondo livello: si attiva nel momento in cui l’al-
larme di primo livello non è stato silenziato nella finestra tem-
porale prevista dall’allarme di primo livello, inviando messaggi
di allarme
a tutti i numeri di emergenza predefiniti con le indicazioni utili
a geolocalizzare l’area in cui si trova il bambino.
Al termine del viaggio, slacciare le cinture di sicurezza ricordan-
dosi di aprire sempre il dispositivo (Fig. 3) in modo da disattivare
il sistema ed evitare che si attivino gli allarmi.
La APP Chicco BebèCare offre in dotazione un pacchetto di
«messaggi di allarme» che verrà decrementato ad ogni allarme
di secondo livello di una quantità pari al numero di contatti di
emergenza inseriti. E’ possibile acquistare i messaggi di allarme
attraverso la APP Chicco BebèCare. In caso di messaggi di al-
larme residui insufficienti occorre procedere con l’acquisto di
uno dei pacchetti disponibili nell’apposita sezione «Acquisti»
della APP. Se il numero di messaggi di allarme è insufficiente,
il sistema viene disabilitato e risulta non funzionante. Nel caso
non vi sia connessione internet (rete dati mobile o WiFi) Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech attiva correttamente l’allarme 0 e l’allar-
me di Primo Livello, mentre potrebbe non essere in grado di
inviare i messaggi di allarme ai numeri di emergenza (Allarme
di Secondo Livello).
• La APP Chicco BebèCare supporta non solo il dispositivo
anti-abbandono Chicco BebèCare easy-tech, ma anche i seg-
giolini della gamma Chicco BebèCare con sensori integrati,
mediante lo stesso account famiglia.
• Chicco BebèCare easy-tech non interferisce nel normale
funzionamento del sistema Bluetooth® eventualmente pre-
sente nell’autoveicolo.
1.3 UTILIZZO DELLA APP CHICCO BEBÈCARE
SU PIÙ DISPOSITIVI / SMARTPHONE
Dopo aver fatto la registrazione dell’account famiglia ed aver
associato il dispositivo Chicco BebèCare easy-tech con lo
smartphone attraverso la scansione del QR code, è possibile
utilizzare Chicco BebèCare easy-tech anche con altri smar-
tphone che hanno installata la APP Chicco BebèCare. E’ possi-
bile utilizzare lo stesso account famiglia su un numero illimitato
di smartphone che hanno precedentemente installato la APP
Chicco BebèCare. Le impostazioni predefinite mediante il primo
smartphone (numeri emergenza, associazione dispositivo e dati
bambino) saranno automaticamente disponibili anche sugli altri
smartphone con la APP Chicco BebèCare e che utilizzano lo
stesso account famiglia.
IMPORTANTE: qualora la password famiglia venga modificata,
la nuova password deve essere condivisa con tutti gli utenti che
utilizzano lo stesso account famiglia.
IMPORTANTE: se sulla stessa auto sono presenti due smar-
tphone precedentemente associati con il dispositivo e con attiva
la APP Chicco BebèCare, il dispositivo si connetterà con SOLO
uno dei due in base alla reattività del sistema Bluetooth® del
singolo smartphone e questa condizione non potrà essere mo-
dificata fino alla disattivazione del dispositivo mediante l’apertura
del dispositivo o fino alla perdita del segnale Bluetooth®.
Qualora il possessore dello smartphone in quel momento con-
nesso con il dispositivo Chicco BebèCare easy-tech attivato si
allontani dall’auto:
• si attiva l’allarme 0 ed eventualmente l’allarme di primo livello
sul suo smartphone che può essere silenziato interagendo con
la APP premendo sul pulsante “STOP”.
• dopo pochi secondi, il secondo smartphone ancora in auto si
connetterà automaticamente al dispositivo Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech.
ATTENZIONE: in caso si utilizzino contemporaneamente due o
più smartphone su cui è installata la APP Chicco BebèCare oc-
corre identificare quello effettivamente connesso al dispositivo
e che quindi non deve mai essere mai abbandonato.
1.4 GESTIONE MULTIPLA DI DISPOSITIVI APPARTENENTI
ALLA FAMIGLIA CHICCO BEBÈCARE MEDIANTE UN UNICO
ACCOUNT FAMIGLIA
E’ possibile associare ad uno stesso account famiglia un mas-
simo di 4 dispositivi Chicco BebèCare (seggiolini con sensori
integrati e/o accessorio), ripetendo le operazioni precedente-
mente descritte. La APP Chicco BebèCare monitorerà lo stato
di ciascun dispositivo contemporaneamente.
1.5 ALLARMI INTELLIGENTI
Il sistema Chicco BebèCare è studiato per dare, anche in circostan-
ze non prevedibili, il giusto supporto a coloro che si prendono cura
dei bambini nella quotidianità. Infatti, è in grado di comprendere e
analizzare la specifica condizione di potenziale pericolo, attivando
sistemi di allarmi intelligenti pensati per garantire un livello di si-
curezza maggiore.
ALLARME SMARTPHONE SCARICO
Se lo smartphone del conducente sta per scaricarsi, la App gli invia

Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sull’apparecchio in-
dica che il prodotto, alla fine della propria vita utile, doven-
do essere trattato separatamente dai rifiuti domestici, deve
essere conferito in un centro di raccolta differenziata per
apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche oppure riconse-
gnato al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova
apparecchiatura equivalente oppure consegnare a distribu-
tori con superficie di vendita di apparecchiature elettriche
ed elettroniche almeno 400mq gratuitamente senza alcun
obbligo di acquisto. L’utente è responsabile del conferimen-
to dell’apparecchio a fine vita alle appropriate strutture di
raccolta. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio succes-
sivo dell’apparecchio dismesso al riciclaggio, al trattamento e
allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce a
evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e
favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è composto il prodotto.
Per informazioni più dettagliate inerenti i sistemi di raccolta
disponibili, rivolgersi al servizio locale di smaltimento rifiuti,
o al negozio in cui è stato effettuato l’acquisto.
1.8.2 CONFORMITA’ ALLA DIRETTIVA EU
2006/66/CE e successive modifiche.
Il simbolo del cestino barrato riportato sulle pile o sulla
confezione del prodotto, indica che le stesse, alla fine della
propria vita utile, dovendo essere trattate separatamente dai
rifiuti domestici, non devono essere smaltite come rifiuto
urbano, ma devono essere conferite in un centro di raccolta
differenziata oppure riconsegnate al rivenditore al momento
dell’acquisto di pile ricaricabili e non ricaricabili nuove equiva-
lenti. L’eventuale simbolo chimico Hg, Cd, Pb, posto sotto al
cestino barrato indica il tipo di sostanza contenuta nella pila,
Hg=Mercurio, Cd=Cadmio, Pb=Piombo. L’utente è respon-
sabile del conferimento delle pile a fine vita alle appropriate
strutture di raccolta al fine di agevolare il trattamento e il
riciclaggio. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio suc-
cessivo delle pile esauste al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo
smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad
evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute
umana e favorisce il riciclo delle sostanze di cui sono com-
poste le pile. Lo smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte
dell’utente comporta danni all’ambiente e alla salute umana.
Per informazioni più dettagliate inerenti i sistemi di raccolta
disponibili, rivolgersi al servizio locale di smaltimento rifiuti,
o al negozio in cui è stato effettuato l’acquisto.
DICHIARAZIONE DI CONFORMITÀ.
Il fabbricante, Artsana S.p.A., dichiara che il tipo di apparec-
chiatura radio ET123FL è conforme alla direttiva 2014/53/
UE. Il testo completo della dichiarazione di conformità UE è
disponibile al seguente indirizzo Internet: www.chicco.com/
declarations. In accordo alla decisione della Commissione
Europea N°2000/299/CE del 06/04/2000 la banda di fre-
quenza utilizzata da questo prodotto è armonizzata in tutti i
Paesi UE pertanto questo è un prodotto di classe 1 e può
una notifica ricordandogli che è necessario ricaricarlo. Inoltre, è
possibile attivare un servizio opzionale di invio di messaggi di allar-
me tramite Cloud Chicco ai contatti preimpostati per avvisarli che
lo smartphone del conducente è scarico e quindi non può inviare
messaggi di allarme in caso di emergenza. Questo servizio si può
attivare accedendo alla sezione “Impostazioni/Notifiche” della App
Chicco BebèCare.
ALLARME AUTO FERMA CON BIMBO
E SMARTPHONE A BORDO
Se l’auto del conducente risulta ferma da diverso tempo con bimbo
e lo smartphone a bordo, la App è in grado di segnalare al server
questa anomalia e reagire con uno specifico allarme. Infatti, è pos-
sibile attivare un servizio opzionale di invio di messaggi di allarme
tramite Cloud Chicco ai contatti preimpostati per avvisarli che il
conducente potrebbe aver dimenticato il proprio smartphone in
auto perché quest’ultima risulta ferma da diverso tempo con il bim-
bo a bordo. Questo servizio si può attivare accedendo alla sezione
“Impostazioni/Notifiche” della App Chicco BebèCare.
ALLARME MANCATA CONNESSIONE
Nel caso in cui lo smartphone del conducente non dovesse riuscire
a comunicare con il Cloud Chicco per troppo tempo, la App gli invia
una notifica avvisandolo che il suo smartphone è senza connes-
sione. Inoltre, è possibile attivare un servizio opzionale di invio di
messaggi di allarme tramite Cloud Chicco ai contatti preimpostati
per avvisarli che lo smartphone del conducente non sta comuni-
cando lo stato correttamente e quindi non è in grado di inviare
messaggi di allarme in caso di emergenza. Questo servizio si può
attivare accedendo alla sezione “Impostazioni/Notifiche” della App
Chicco BebèCare.
1.6 NOTIFICA PERIODICA BIMBO A BORDO PER
UN PERIODO DI TEMPO PROLUNGATO
Qualora il bambino rimanga seduto sul seggiolino con Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech attivato per più di 30 minuti, sullo smar-
tphone compare una notifica push, accompagnata da un breve
segnale acustico. Solo il segnale può essere disabilitato dall’u-

CR2032. Attraverso la APP è possibile monitorare il livel-
lo della batteria presente all’interno del dispositivo Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech. In caso di livello basso, l’utente può
procedere autonomamente alla sostituzione con batteria
delle medesime caratteristiche, rispettando la corretta pola-
rità. Per la sostituzione della batteria l’utente può procedere
autonomamente aprendo il dispositivo (Fig. 4) e separando
completamente il guscio bianco dal componente blu. Svitare
la vite (Fig. 5), accedere al vano batteria (Fig. 6), sostituire
la batteria rispettando la polarità (Fig. 7), riavvitare (Fig. 8)
e reinserire il componente blu all’interno del guscio bianco
(Fig. 9).

it. To maintain the automatic connection between the Chic-
co BebèCare easy-tech device and the Chicco BebèCare, we
suggest that you do not to log out unless absolutely necessary.
• Do not quit the App (do not switch up the App) in order
to guarantee the correct functioning of the system in
any condition.
• In order to verify the correct operation of Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech, it is important to periodically carry out tests to open/
close the accessory, verifying the relative state of the APP

d) Associating the equipment with the family account
To associate your Chicco BebèCare easy-tech equipment with
your family account, carefully follow the instructions in the Chicco
BebèCare App, paying attention to the following.
1) Scan the QR code which is located inside the package
2) Close the equipment (until the Chicco logo is completely visible
through the window in the white casing) (Fig.1) to proceed with
the first association. To ensure Bluetooth® connection, make sure
you are close to your smartphone. The system activates/connects
a few seconds after the device is closed.
Up to a maximum of 4 Chicco BebèCare devices can be associa-
ted with the same family account (child car seats with integrated
sensors and/or anti-abandonment devices). The specific car equi-
pment can be associated permanently with one family account
ONLY.
IMPORTANT: When scanning the QR code, an internet con-
nection must be available (mobile data or WiFi network).
e) Check the correct operation of the equipment
When using the first time, to verify the correct operation of Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech, it is important to do some tests, verifying the
relative state of the APP as follows:
- Close the accessory; state detected by the Chicco BebèCare
APP “connected - child seated”
- Then open the accessory: the possible states detected by the
APP are either “connected” or “disconnected” depending on how
long it takes between opening the accessory and displaying it in
the APP.
f) Enter the information about the baby
After associating the equipment with the family account, enter
the name and date of birth of the child. You can also enter a
photograph.
1.2 HOW CHICCO BEBÈCARE EASY-TECH WORKS
Place the child on the seat and secure him with the restraint
systems provided for the type of seat in use.
Use the clip (A) on the white casing of the equipment to attach
the accessory preferably to the shoulder strap of the seat or to
the diagonal portion of the seat belt (Fig.2). Now completely
close the equipment as indicated in Chapter 1.1, paragraph d),
item 2.
When closed with the Chicco logo fully visible through the
special window on the white outer shell, the user is notified that
the product has been activated by means of a special wake-up
acoustic signal.
This is followed by an intermittent sound that informs the user
that the product is searching for the Bluetooth® signal from the
smartphone. A “beep” notifies the user once the connection has
been made successfully. Make sure that the state detected by
the Chicco BebèCare APP is “connected - child seated.” From
this moment on, the equipment is active and the presence of
the child can be monitored through the Chicco BebèCare APP.
WARNING! If the connection does not occur within 20 se-
conds, the user is notified by a short acoustic signal (failed

a) Download the Chicco BebèCare APP
The Chicco BebèCare APP must be downloaded. When accessing
for the first time, the APP will provide all the instructions to follow
to register the account and use Chicco BebèCare easy-tech.
b) Create the family account
A “family account” must be created with a single password. This
account will be the only one that can be used by those who use
that specific equipment. The password is shared with all users who
will interact with the equipment.
IMPORTANT: When creating the family account, an internet con-
nection must be available (mobile data or WiFi network).
IMPORTANT: In the event that the family password is changed,
the new password must be shared with all users who share the
same family account.
c) Enter the emergency numbers
The emergency numbers to which the alarm mes-wise (second
level) containing the data required to geolocate the child must be
entered when accessing for the first time. A minimum of 3 to a
maximum of 5 emergency numbers can be entered. The emer-
gency numbers must be selected from the contacts in your smar-
connection). If the device remains closed, Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech automatically continues searching for the smartpho-
ne Bluetooth® signal for 3 minutes. If the connection has still
not been made after this time, a short acoustic signal is emitted.
In any case, even though no further acoustic signal is emitted,
the device continues to search for a Bluetooth® connection
until it is opened again. The alarm system is activated when the
smartphone connected to the equipment moves away from the
car in which the closed accessory is present.
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech features three alarm levels:
• Alarm 0: if the child is left on board and the smartphone
moves away only briefly, the system will send a simple distance
alert. However, if the smartphone stays away for more than 3
minutes the first level alarm will be triggered.
• First level alarm: should the smartphone move away from
the vehicle in which the equipment was installed and activated,
for more than 3 minutes, the phone will emit an acoustic and
visual alarm that can be muted within 40 seconds. Moving the
smartphone towards the equipment does not stop the alarm.
The “STOP” button in the BebèCare APP must be pressed in
order to deactivate the alarm.
• Second level alarm: this is activated the moment in which
the first level alarm was not silenced within the time window
provided for the first level alarm, and sends alarm messages to
all the predefined emergency numbers with the information
needed for geolocating the area where the baby is located.
At the end of the trip, unbuckle the seat belts, remembering
to always open the equipment (Fig. 3) to deactivate the system
and prevent the alarms from being activated.
The Chicco BebèCare APP comes with a package of alarm
messages” that will decrease with every second level alarm
message by a number equal to that of the emergency contacts
entered. Alarm messages can be bought through the Chicco
BebèCare APP. In case of insufficient residual alarm messages,
proceed with the purchase of one of the packages available
in the “Purchases” section of the APP. If the number of alarm
messages is insufficient, the system is disabled and is not wor-
king. If there is no signal. If there is no internet connection
(mobile network of WiFi), Chicco BebèCare easy-tech will cor-
rectly activate alarm 0 and the first level alarm, but it may not be
able to send the alarm messages to the emergency numbers
(second level alarm).
• The Chicco BebèCare APP supports not only the Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech anti-abandonment equipment, but also
the Chicco BebèCare range of child car seats with integrated
sensors, through the same family account.
• Chicco BebèCare easy-tech does not interfere with the nor-
mal operation of the Bluetooth® system that may be present
in the car.
1.3 USING THE CHICCO BEBÈCARE APP ON MULTIPLE
DEVICES/SMARTPHONES
After registering the family account and associating the car seat
with Chicco BebèCare easy-tech equipment using the smar-
tphone by scanning the QR code, it is possible to use Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech also with other smartphones that have
the Chicco BebèCare APP installed. It is possible to use the
same family account with an unlimited number of smartpho-
nes that have previously installed the Chicco BebèCare APP.
The settings predefined using the first smartphone (emergency
numbers, association of the equipment and the child’s data)
will be automatically available also on the other smartphones
with the Chicco BebèCare APP and that are using the same
family account.
IMPORTANT: in the event that the family password is changed,
the new password must be shared with all users who share the
same family account.
IMPORTANT: if there are two smartphones in the same car
that were previously associated with the equipment and both
have the Chicco BebèCare APP active, the equipment will con-
nect with ONLY one of the two based on the reactivity of
the Bluetooth® system of the individual smartphones and this
condition cannot be changed until the equipment is deactivated
by opening the equipment or until the Bluetooth® signal is lost.
If the person with the smartphone that is connected with the
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech equipment at that moment moves
away from the car:
• Alarm 0 and subsequently the first level alarm will activate on
the smartphone, which can be silenced by interacting with the
APP and pressing the “STOP” button.
• after a few seconds, the second smartphone that is still in
the car will automatically connect with the Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech equipment.
WARNING: if two or more smartphones are used that have the
Chicco BebèCare APP installed, it is necessary to identify which
one is effectively connected to the equipment and therefore
must never be abandoned.
1.4 MANAGING MULTIPLE DEVICES BELONGING TO THE
CHICCO BEBÈCARE FAMILY WITH A SINGLE FAMILY AC-
COUNT
A maximum of 4 Chicco BebèCare devices (child car seats with
built-in sensors and/or accessory) can be associated with the
same family account, by repeating the operations described
previously. The Chicco BebèCare APP will monitor the status
of each device at the same time.
1.5 SMART WARNINGS
The Chicco BebèCare system is designed to assist people with
the everyday task of caring for children, including in unpredi-
ctable circumstances. The system is, in fact, capable of analysing
and understanding the specific potentially dangerous circum-
stance and activating smart warnings designed to guarantee a
higher level of safety.
SMARTPHONE BATTERY DEAD WARNING
If the driver’s smartphone battery is almost flat, the App sends
the driver a notification as a reminder that the battery needs
charging.
In addition, an optional service can be activated through the
Chicco Cloud to send a warning message to selected contacts,
informing them that the driver’s smartphone battery is dead
and will not be able to send warning messages in the event of
an emergency.
The service can be activated through the “Settings/Notifica-
tions” section of the Chicco BebèCare App.
CAR PARKED WITH CHILD AND SMARTPHONE
ON BOARD WARNING
If the driver’s vehicle remains parked for a significant amount
of time with the smartphone and the child on board, the app is
capable of notifying the server of the anomaly and responding
with a specific warning.
An optional service can, in fact, be activated through the Chicco
Cloud to send a warning message to selected contacts, infor-
ming them that the driver may have forgotten his/her smar-
tphone in the car, since the car has been parked for an exten-
ded period of time with the child on board.
The service can be activated through the “Settings/Notifica-
tions” section of the Chicco BebèCare App.
NO NETWORK SIGNAL WARNING
If the driver’s smartphone is unable to communicate with the
Chicco Cloud for an excessive amount of time, the app will send
a notification informing the driver that his/her smartphone has
no reception.
In addition, an optional service can be activated through the
Chicco Cloud to send a warning message to selected contacts,
informing them that the driver’s smartphone is not sending
status updates properly and will not be able to send warning
messages in the event of an emergency.
The service can be activated through the “Settings/Notifica-
tions” section of the Chicco BebèCare App.
1.6 PERIODIC NOTIFICATION OF CHILD IN THE CAR FOR
A PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME
If the child remains in the car seat with Chicco BebèCare easy-te-
ch activated for more than 30 minutes, a push notification will
appear on the smartphone, accompanied by a brief acoustic signal.
The user can disable only the acoustic signal on the “settings/no-
tifications” screen.
1.7 BATTERY
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech works with 1 CR2032 bat-
tery. You can monitor the level of the battery found in
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech equipment through the APP.
If the level is low, the user can replace the battery with
another with the same characteristics on their own, ma-
king sure they are the right way round.
To replace the battery, the user can proceed indepen-
dently by opening the equipment (Fig. 4) and completely
separating the white cover from the blue component. Re-
move the screw (Fig. 5), access the battery compartment
(Fig. 6), replace the battery respecting the polarity (Fig. 7),
screw back (Fig. 8) and fit the blue component inside the
white shell again (Fig. 9).
1.8 DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT
Follow the instructions provided below for disposal (Para-
graphs 1.7.1 – 1.7.2.).

waste disposal of your old toy will help prevent potential

health and favour the recycling of the materials of which
the product is made. Illegal disposal of the product by the
user will damage the environment and human health. For

• Pour que l’application Chicco BebèCare puisse pren-
dre en charge le fonctionnement complet du système,
il faut obligatoirement autoriser l’accès à la position du
smartphone par le biais des autorisations de localisation.
• Pour les smartphones utilisant un système d’exploi-
tation iOS, à chaque nouvelle «Connexion» il faut
appuyer sur le dispositif associé pour le connecter. Afin
de maintenir la connexion automatique entre le dispo-
sitif Chicco BebèCare easy-tech et l’application Chicco
BebèCare, il est recommandé de se déconnecter uni-
quement si cela est strictement nécessaire.
• Pour assurer le bon fonctionnement du système dans
toutes les conditions, ne pas forcer la fermeture de l’ap-
plication: ne pas faire défiler l’application vers le haut.
• Pour vérifier le bon fonctionnement de Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech, il est important d’effectuer régul-
ièrement des essais d’ouverture/fermeture de l’accesso-
ire, en vérifiant l’état correspondant de l’application de la
manière suivante (Chapitre 1.1, paragraphe e)).
Le non-respect des points précédents comporte le dy-
sfonctionnement de Chicco BebèCare easy-tech et/ou
de l’application Chicco BebèCare, ce qui entraîne la dés-
activation du système et/ou l’absence d’envoi et/ou de

AVERTISSEMENT
Contrôle à effectuer chaque fois que l’on utilise Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech:
• Assurez-vous que votre smartphone soit allumé et dispo-
se d’une autonomie suffisante lors de l’utilisation de Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech.
• Le Bluetooth® doit être actif.
• Le mode «avion» doit être désactivé.
• Le GPS doit toujours être actif.
Contrôler dans l’application Chicco BebèCare la présence
d’un nombre suffisant de messages d’alerte. À défaut, ache-
ter le pack nécessaire.
• En cas d’utilisation simultanée de deux ou plusieurs
smartphones sur lesquels est installée l’application Chicco
BebèCare, il est nécessaire d’identifier celui qui est effecti-
vement connecté au dispositif.
• Avant de prendre la route, vérifier que le dispositif est
complètement fermé et que l’état détecté par l’application
Chicco BebèCare est «connecté - enfant assis».
Le non-respect des points précédents comporte le dysfon-
ctionnement de Chicco BebèCare easy-tech et/ou de l’ap-
plication Chicco BebèCare, ce qui entraîne la désactivation
du système et/ou l’absence d’envoi et/ou de réception des

1.1 COMMENT ACTIVER CHICCO BEBÈCARE

b) Création du compte famille
Il est nécessaire de créer un «compte famille» avec un seul mot
de passe. Ce compte sera le seul à pouvoir être utilisé par ceux qui

tous les utilisateurs qui interagissent avec le dispositif.
IMPORTANT: Pendant l’opération de création du compte famil-
le, il est nécessaire de disposer d’une connexion internet (réseau
données mobiles ou Wi-Fi).
IMPORTANT: Si le mot de passe famille est modifié, le nouveau
mot de passe doit être partagé avec tous les utilisateurs du même
compte famille.
c) Saisie numéros d’urgence
Lors du premier accès, il faut entrer les numéros d’urgence
auxquels seront envoyés les messages d’alerte (second niveau)
contenant les données servant à géolocaliser la zone où se
trouve l’enfant. Les numéros d’urgence à saisir sont au mini-
mum 3 et au maximum 5. Les numéros d’urgence doivent être
sélectionnés dans la rubrique du smartphone et peuvent être
ajoutés, supprimés et/ou remplacés dans le temps.
IMPORTANT: Pendant cette opération, il est nécessaire de dispo-
ser d’une connexion internet (réseau données mobiles ou Wi-Fi).
IMPORTANT: Les numéros d’urgence doivent être des nu-
méros de téléphonie mobile, non des numéros de téléphones
fixes ou d’urgence nationale.
IMPORTANT: Toujours vérifier l’exactitude et le bon fonction-
nement des numéros d’urgence après avoir terminé la saisie.
d) Association du dispositif au compte famille
Pour associer le dispositif Chicco BebèCare easy-tech au compte
famille, suivre attentivement les indications fournies dans l’applica-
tion Chicco BebèCare, en faisant particulièrement attention aux
points suivants.
1) Scanner le code QR qui se trouve dans l’emballage
2) Éteindre le dispositif (jusqu’à ce que le logo Chicco soit com-
plètement visible à travers la fenêtre spéciale sur la coque blan-
che) (Fig. 1) pour effectuer la première association. Pour garantir la
connexion Bluetooth®, s’assurer d’être à proximité du smartphone.
Le système s’active/se connecte quelques secondes après la fer-
meture du dispositif.
Il est possible d’associer un maximum de 4 dispositifs Chicco
BebèCare au même compte famille (sièges-auto avec capteurs
intégrés et/ou dispositifs anti-éloignement). Le dispositif spécifique
peut être associé à un SEUL compte famille et cette opération
est irréversible.
IMPORTANT: Pendant le scan du QR code, il est nécessaire de
disposer d’une connexion internet (réseau données mobiles ou
Wi-Fi).
e) Vérifier le bon fonctionnement du dispositif
Lors de la première utilisation, pour vérifier le bon fonction-
nement de Chicco BebèCare easy-tech, il est important d’ef-
fectuer des essais en vérifiant l’état correspondant de l’appli-
cation de la manière suivante:
- Fermer l’accessoire: état détecté par l’application Chicco
BebèCare «connecté - enfant assis»
- Puis ouvrir l’accessoire: les états possibles détectés par l’ap-
plication peuvent être «connecté» ou «déconnecté» en
fonction du temps qui s’écoule entre l’ouverture de l’accessoire
et l’affichage dans l’application.
f) Saisie des données de l’enfant
Après avoir associé le dispositif au compte famille, il est nécess-

Il est nécessaire de télécharger l’application Chicco BebèCare. Au
premier accès, l’application fournira toutes les instructions à sui-
aire de saisir le nom et la date de naissance de l’enfant. Il est
également possible d’insérer une photo de l’enfant.
1.2 COMMENT FONCTIONNE CHICCO
BEBÈCARE EASY-TECH
Installer l’enfant dans le siège-auto et l’attacher à l’aide des
systèmes de retenue prévus pour le type de siège-auto utilisé.
Utiliser le clip spécial (A) situé sur la coque blanche du disposi-
tif pour fixer l’accessoire de préférence au couvre-harnais du
siège-auto ou à la section diagonale de la ceinture de la voiture
(Fig.2).
Fermer complètement le dispositif comme indiqué au Chapitre
1.1, Paragraphe d), Point 2.
Lorsqu’il est fermé et que le logo Chicco est complètement
visible à travers la fenêtre présente sur la coque blanche, l’u-
tilisateur est averti de l’activation par un signal sonore spécial.
Après quoi, un son intermittent avertit que la recherche du
signal Bluetooth® du smartphone est en cours. Dès que ce
dernier se connecte, l’utilisateur est averti par un «bip» que
la connexion a été effectuée.
Vérifier que l’état détecté par l’application Chicco BebèCare est
« connecté - enfant assis ». À partir de ce moment, le dispositif
est activé et la présence de l’enfant peut être surveillée via
l’application Chicco BebèCare.
AVERTISSEMENT! Si la connexion n’a pas lieu dans les 20
secondes, l’utilisateur est averti par un bref signal sonore (pas
de connexion). Si le dispositif reste fermé, Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech poursuit automatiquement la recherche du signal
Bluetooth® du smartphone pendant 3 minutes. Après quoi, si
la connexion n’a pas encore eu lieu, un bref signal sonore est
émis. Cependant, même en l’absence d’un autre signal sonore,
le dispositif continue de rechercher une connexion Blueto-
oth® jusqu’à la nouvelle ouverture. Le système d’alerte s’active
lorsque le smartphone connecté au dispositif s’éloigne de la
voiture dans laquelle se trouve l’accessoire fermé.
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech prévoit trois niveaux d’alerte:
• Alarme 0 : si l’enfant est laissé à bord et que le smartphone
ne s’éloigne de la voiture que quelques instants, le système
enverra une simple notification d’éloignement. Si l’éloignement
dépasse une durée de 3 minutes, l’alarme de premier niveau
se déclenche.
• Alerte de premier niveau : Si le smartphone s’éloigne de la
voiture sur laquelle le dispositif actif est installé, pendant plus
de 3 minutes, une alerte acoustique et visuelle apparaîtra sur
le smartphone. Il sera possible de la désactiver dans un délai de
40 secondes. Le rapprochement du smartphone du dispositif
ne désactive pas l’alerte, il est indispensable d’interagir avec
l’application en appuyant sur le bouton « STOP ».
• Alerte de second niveau : elle s’active au moment où l’alerte
de premier niveau n’est pas désactivée dans le délai imparti par
l’alerte de premier niveau, en envoyant des messages d’alerte
à tous les numéros d’urgence prédéfinis avec les indications
utiles pour géolocaliser la zone dans laquelle se trouve l’enfant.
À la fin du voyage, détacher le harnais de sécurité en veillant à
toujours ouvrir le dispositif (Fig. 3) afin de désactiver le système
et d’empêcher le déclenchement des alertes.
L’application Chicco BebèCare est fournie avec un pack de «
messages d’alerte » qui sera décrémenté à chaque alerte de
second niveau d’une quantité égale au nombre de contacts
d’urgence entrés. Il est possible d’acheter des messages d’alerte
via l’application Chicco BebèCare. Si le nombre de messages
d’alerte restants est insuffisant, il est nécessaire d’acheter l’un
des packs disponibles dans la section « Achats » de l’application.
Si le nombre de messages d’alerte est insuffisant, le système est
désactivé et ne fonctionne pas. S’il n’y a pas de réseau, Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech active correctement l’alerte de premier
niveau mais n’est pas en mesure d’envoyer les messages d’a-
lerte aux numéros d’urgence (alerte de second niveau).
• L’application Chicco BebèCare prend en charge non seule-
ment le dispositif anti-éloignement Chicco BebèCare easy-te-
ch, mais aussi les sièges-auto de la gamme Chicco BebèCare
munis de capteurs intégrés, en utilisant le même compte famille.
• Chicco BebèCare easy-tech n’interfère pas avec le fonction-
nement normal du système Bluetooth® éventuellement prés-
ent dans le véhicule.
1.3 UTILISATION DE L’APPLICATION CHICCO BEBÈCARE
SUR PLUSIEURS DISPOSITIFS / SMARTPHONES
Après avoir effectué l’enregistrement du compte famille et avoir
associé le dispositif Chicco BebèCare easy-tech au smartphone à
l’aide du scan du QR code, il est possible d’utiliser Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech avec d’autres smartphones sur lesquels l’application
Chicco BebèCare est installée. Il est possible d’utiliser le même
compte famille sur un nombre illimité de smartphones ayant préal-
ablement installé l’application Chicco BebèCare. Les paramètres
prédéfinis à l’aide du premier smartphone (numéros d’urgence,
association dispositif et données enfant) seront automatiquement
disponibles également sur les autres smartphones disposant de
l’application Chicco BebèCare et utilisant le même compte famille.
IMPORTANT: si le mot de passe famille est modifié, le nouveau
mot de passe doit être partagé avec tous les utilisateurs utilisant
le même compte famille.
IMPORTANT: si deux smartphones préalablement associés
au dispositif dotés de l’application Chicco BebèCare active sont
présents dans la même voiture, le dispositif se connectera avec
un SEUL des deux smartphones en fonction de la réactivité du
système Bluetooth® de chaque smartphone et cette condition
ne pourra être modifiée qu’après la désactivation via l’ouverture
du dispositif ou après la perte du signal Bluetooth®.
Si le propriétaire du smartphone connecté à cet instant au di-
spositif Chicco BebèCare easy-tech activé s’éloigne de la voiture:
• L’alarme 0 ou éventuellement l’alarme de premier niveau s’active
sur son smartphone. Il est possible de la désactiver via l’application
en appuyant sur le bouton « STOP ».
• après quelques secondes, le second smartphone resté dans
la voiture se connectera automatiquement au dispositif Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech.
ATTENZIONE: en cas d’utilisation simultanée de deux ou plu-
sieurs smartphones sur lesquels est installée l’application Chicco
BebèCare, il est nécessaire d’identifier celui qui est effectivement
connecté au dispositif et qui ne doit donc jamais être abandonné.
1.4 GESTION MULTIPLE DE DISPOSITIFS APPARTENANT
À LA FAMILLE CHICCO BEBÈCARE VIA UN SEUL COMPTE
FAMILLE
Il est possible d’associer un maximum de 4 dispositifs Chicco
BebèCare (sièges-auto avec capteurs intégrés et/ou accessoi-
re) au même compte famille, en répétant les opérations décrites
ci-dessus. L’application Chicco BebèCare surveillera l’état de cha-
que dispositif simultanément.
easy-tech. En cas de niveau faible, l’utilisateur peut rem-
placer lui-même la pile par une autre ayant les mêmes ca-
ractéristiques, en respectant la polarité.
L’utilisateur peut effectuer lui-même le remplacement la pile
en ouvrant le dispositif (Fig. 4) et en séparant complètement
la coque blanche du composant bleu. Dévisser la vis (Fig. 5),
accéder au compartiment de la pile (Fig. 6), remplacer la pile
en respectant la polarité (Fig. 7), revisser (Fig. 8)et réinsérer
le composant bleu à l’intérieur de la coque blanche (Fig. 9).
1.8 ÉLIMINATION DU PRODUIT
Pour l’élimination, suivre les instructions reportées ci-des-
sous (paragraphes 1.7.1 – 1.7.2.).
1.8.1 CE PRODUIT EST CONFORME
À LA DIRECTIVE 2012/19/UE.
Le symbole de la poubelle barrée sur l’appareil indique que
ce produit, à la fin de sa vie utile, devra être traité séparément
des autres déchets domestiques; il faudra donc l’apporter
dans un centre de collecte sélective pour les équipements
électriques et électroniques, ou bien le remettre au reven-
deur lors de l’achat d’un nouvel équipement équivalent ou
encore le remettre gratuitement aux distributeurs dispo-
sant d’une surface de vente d’équipements électriques et
électroniques d’au moins 400 m², sans obligation d’achat.
L’utilisateur est responsable du retour de l’appareil, à la fin de
sa vie, aux structures de collecte appropriées. Le tri sélectif
adapté visant à envoyer l’appareil que l’on n’utilise plus au
recyclage, au traitement et à la mise au rebut compatible
avec l’environnement contribue à éviter de possibles effets
négatifs sur l’environnement et sur la santé et favorise le
recyclage des matériaux dont est composé le produit. Pour
obtenir des renseignements plus détaillés sur les systèmes
de collecte disponibles, s’adresser au service local d’élimin-
ation des déchets, ou bien au magasin où l’appareil a été
acheté.
1.8.2 CONFORMITÉ À LA DIRECTIVE EU
2006/66/CE telle que modifiée.
Le symbole de la poubelle barrée appliqué sur les piles ou
sur l’emballage du produit, indique que ces dernières, en fin
de vie, devront être traitées séparément par rapport aux
déchets domestiques, qu’elles ne doivent pas être éliminées
comme des déchets urbains mais que, par conséquent, elles
doivent être remises à un centre de tri sélectif ou bien re-
mises au revendeur au moment de l’achat de nouvelles piles
rechargeables et non rechargeables, équivalentes. L’éventuel
symbole chimique Hg, Cd, Pb situé sous la poubelle barrée
indique le type de substance contenue dans la pile, Hg=Mer-
cure, Cd=Cadmium, Pb=Plomb. L’utilisateur est responsable
du retour des batteries, à la fin de leur vie, aux structures
de collecte appropriées afin de faciliter leur traitement et
leur recyclage. Une collecte sélective adéquate, visant à en-
voyer les batteries épuisées au recyclage, au traitement et
à l’élimination compatible avec l’environnement, contribue
à éviter les effets négatifs possibles sur l’environnement et
sur la santé, et favorise le recyclage des substances dont les

Le système Chicco BebèCare est conçu pour apporter, même
en des circonstances imprévisibles, le soutien adéquat à ceux qui
s’occupent d’enfants au quotidien. En effet, il est en mesure de
comprendre et d’analyser la condition spécifique de danger po-
tentiel, en activant des systèmes d’alarme intelligents conçus pour
assurer un niveau de sécurité accru.
ALARME SMARTPHONE DÉCHARGÉ
Si le smartphone du conducteur est sur le point de se télécharger,
l’application lui envoie une notification lui rappelant qu’il doit le
recharger.
En outre, il est possible d’activer un service en option d’envoi de
messages d’alarme via Cloud Chicco aux contacts prédéfinis afin
de les avertir que le smartphone du conducteur est déchargé et
ne peut donc pas envoyer de messages d’alarme en cas d’urgence.
Ce service peut être activé en accédant à la section « Paramètres/
Notifications » de l’application Chicco BebèCare.
ALARME VOITURE ARRÊTÉE AVEC
ENFANT ET SMARTPHONE À BORD
Si la voiture du conducteur est arrêtée depuis un certain temps
avec l’enfant et le smartphone à bord, l’application est en mesure
de signaler cette anomalie au serveur et de réagir avec une alarme
spécifique.
En effet, il est possible d’activer un service en option d’envoi de
messages d’alarme via Cloud Chicco aux contacts prédéfinis pour
les avertir que le conducteur pourrait avoir oublié son smartphone
dans la voiture dans la mesure où celle-ci est immobile depuis un
certain temps avec le bébé à bord.
Ce service peut être activé en accédant à la section « Paramètres/
Notifications » de l’application Chicco BebèCare.
ALARME ABSENCE DE CONNEXION
Au cas où le smartphone du conducteur ne pourrait communiquer
avec le Cloud Chicco pendant une période prolongée, l’application
lui envoie une notification l’informant que son smartphone est
dépourvu de connexion.
En outre, il est possible d’activer un service en option d’envoi de
messages d’alarme via Cloud Chicco aux contacts prédéfinis afin de
les avertir que le smartphone du conducteur ne communique pas
convenablement l’état et ne peut donc pas envoyer de messages
d’alarme en cas d’urgence.
Ce service peut être activé en accédant à la section « Paramètres/
Notifications » de l’application Chicco BebèCare.
1.6 NOTIFICATION PÉRIODIQUE ENFANT À BORD
PENDANT UNE PÉRIODE PROLONGÉE
Si l’enfant reste assis dans le siège-auto avec Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech activé pendant plus de 30 minutes, une notification
push accompagnée d’un bref signal acoustique apparaît sur le
smartphone. Seul le signal acoustique peut être désactivé par l’u-
tilisateur depuis l’écran «Réglages/notifications».

of wifi), activeert Chicco BebèCare easy-tech het alarm 0
en het alarm van het eerste niveau zonder problemen, maar
kan mogelijk geen alarmberichten naar de alarmnummers
te sturen (alarm van het tweede niveau).
• Om ervoor te zorgen dat de APP Chicco BebèCare de
volledige werking van het systeem kan ondersteunen, is het
verplicht om altijd toegang tot de positie van de smartpho-
ne toe te staan via lokalisatietoestemmingen.
• Voor smartphones met een iOS-besturingssysteem,
moet u bij elke nieuwe ‘Login’ op het bijbehorende apparaat
tikken om het te verbinden. Om de automatische verbin-
ding tussen het apparaat Chicco BebèCare easy-tech en de
App Chicco BebèCare te behouden, wordt u geadviseerd
om niet uit te loggen, tenzij strikt noodzakelijk.
• Forceer de app niet om te sluiten om een correcte wer-
king van het systeem in alle omstandigheden te garanderen:
scrol niet omhoog in de app.
• Om de juiste werking van Chicco BebèCare easy-tech te
verifiëren, is het belangrijk om regelmatig de openings- /
sluittests van het accessoire uit te voeren, waarbij de rela-
tieve status van de APP wordt gecontroleerd (Hoofdstuk
1.1, paragraaf e).
Het niet naleven van het bovenstaande leidt tot een sto-
ring van Chicco BebèCare easy-tech en/of de App Chicco
BebèCare met als gevolg de uitschakeling van het systeem
en/of het niet versturen en/of ontvangen van alarmmel-
dingen.
WAARSCHUWING
Uit te voeren controle telkens als u BebèCare easy-tech
gebruikt:
• Zorg ervoor dat de smartphone aanstaat en voldoen-
de is opgeladen tijdens het gebruik van Chicco BebèCare
easy-tech.
• De Bluetooth® moet actief zijn.
• De “vliegtuig”modus moet uitgeschakeld zijn.
• De GPS moet altijd geactiveerd zijn.
Check in de App Chicco BebèCare voor voldoende alarm-
meldingen. Koop anders het benodigde pakket aan.
• Als er twee of meer smartphones tegelijk worden gebru-
ikt waarop de App Chicco BebèCare geïnstalleerd is, moet
de smartphone geidentificeerd worden die daadwerkelijk
met het apparaat is verbonden.
• Controleer voor elke rit of het apparaat volledig gesloten
is en of de status gedetecteerd door de Chicco BebèCare
APP is “aangesloten - kindje zit”.
Het niet naleven van het bovenstaande leidt tot een sto-
ring van Chicco BebèCare easy-tech en/of de App Chicco
BebèCare met als gevolg de uitschakeling van het systeem
en/of het niet versturen en/of ontvangen van alarmmel-
dingen.
1.1 HOE CHICCO BEBÈCARE EASY-TECH ACTIVEREN
a) De app Chicco BebèCare downloaden
De APP Chicco BebèCare moet gedownload worden. Bij de
eerste inschakeling geeft de app u alle te volgen aanwijzingen
voor de registratie van de account en voor het gebruik van
BebèCare.
b) Familie-account aanmaken
U dient een “familie-account” aan te maken met een enkel
wachtwoord. Deze account is de enige account die kan worden
gebruikt door wie dit specifiek apparaat gebruikt. Het wachtwo-
ord wordt gedeeld met alle gebruikers die met het apparaat
zullen communiceren.
BELANGRIJK: Voor het aanmaken van de familie-account
moet u over een internetverbinding beschikken (mobiel of
WiFi-gegevensnetwerk).
BELANGRIJK: Als het familie-wachtwoord wordt gewijzigd,
moet het nieuwe wachtwoord gedeeld worden met alle ge-
bruikers die dezelfde familie-account gebruiken.
c) Noodnummers invoeren
Tijdens de eerste inschakeling moeten de noodnummers in-
gevoerd worden waarnaar de alarmberichten (tweede niveau)
worden verzonden met de gegevens die dienen voor de ge-
olocatie van de zone waar het kind zich bevindt. Het aantal in
te voeren noodnummers zijn minimaal 3 tot maximaal 5. De
noodnummers moeten geselecteerd worden uit het adresbo-
ekje van de smartphone en kunnen later toegevoegd, gewist
en/of vervangen worden.
BELANGRIJK: Tijdens deze handeling moet u over een inter-
netverbinding beschikken (mobiel of WiFi-gegevensnetwerk).
BELANGRIJK: De noodnummers moeten mobiele telefoon-
nummers zijn, geen nummers van een vast telefoonnet en geen
nationale noodnummers.
BELANGRIJK: Controleer na het invoeren altijd of de nood-
nummers juist zijn en goed werken.
d) Het apparaat koppelen aan de familie-account
Om het apparaat Chicco BebèCare easy-tech te associëren
met de familie-account, moet u de instructies in de App Chicco
BebèCare zorgvuldig volgen, met aandacht voor het volgende.
1) Scannen de QR-code die zich in de verpakking bevindt
2) Sluit het apparaat (totdat het Chicco-logo volledig zichtbaar
is door het speciale venster op de witte schaal) (Afb. 1) om de
eerste koppeling uit te voeren. Zorg ervoor dat u zich dicht bij
de smartphone bevindt om de Bluetooth®-verbinding te ga-
randeren. Het systeem wordt geactiveerd / maakt verbinding
na een paar seconden na het sluiten van het apparaat.
Er kunnen maximaal 4 Chicco BebèCare-apparaten (stoelen
met geïntegreerde sensoren en/of anti-verlatingsapparaten)
aan dezelfde familie-account gekoppeld worden. Elk specifiek
apparaat kan slechts aan een ENKELE familie-account gekop-
peld worden.
BELANGRIJK: Tijdens het scannen van de QR-code moet u
over een internetverbinding beschikken (mobiel of WiFi-ge-
gevensnetwerk).
e) Controleer de correcte werking van het apparaat
Bij het eerste gebruik, om de juiste werking van Chicco
BebèCare easy-tech te verifiëren, is het belangrijk om regel-
matig de openings- / sluittests van het accessoire uit te voeren,
waarbij de relatieve status van de APP als volgt wordt gecon-
troleerd:
- Sluit het accessoire: status gedetecteerd door de APP Chicco
BebèCare “ aangesloten – kindje zit”
- Open vervolgens het accessoire: de mogelijke toestanden
die door de APP worden gedetecteerd, kunnen “verbonden”
of “losgekoppeld” zijn, afhankelijk van hoeveel tijd er verstrijkt
tussen het openen van het accessoire en het scherm.
f) Gegevens van kind invoeren
Na de koppeling van het apparaat aan de familie-account dient
u de naam en de geboortedatum van het kind in te voeren.
U kunt ook zijn foto invoeren.
1.2 HOE WERKT CHICCO BEBÈCARE EASY-TECH
Plaats het kind in de stoel en zet het vast met de bevestigin-
gssystemen van het type stoel dat gebruikt wordt. Gebruik de
speciale clip (A) die op de witte schaal van het apparaat geplaatst
is om het accessoire bij voorkeur aan de schouderband van de
stoel te bevestigen (Afb. 2).
Sluit nu het apparaat volledig zoals aangegeven in Hoofdstuk
1.1, Paragraaf d), Punt 2.
Wanneer het gesloten is, met het Chicco-logo volledig zichtba-
ar door het speciale venster op de witte schaal, wordt de ge-
bruiker op de hoogte gebracht van de activering via een spe-
ciaal alarm.
Er volgt een onderbroken geluid dat waarschuwt dat het Blue-
tooth®-signaal van de smartphone gezocht wordt. Zodra deze
verbinding maakt, wordt de gebruiker door een “piep” gewa-
arschuwd dat de verbinding geslaagd is.
Controleer of de status gedetecteerd door de APP Chicco
BebèCare “aangesloten – kindje zit” is.
Vanaf dit moment is het apparaat actief en kan de aanwezi-
gheid van het kind via de App Chicco BebèCare gecontroleerd
worden.
WAARSCHUWING! Als de verbinding niet binnen 20 seconden
tot stand komt, wordt de gebruiker gewaarschuwd door een
korte piep (geen verbinding). Als het apparaat gesloten blijft,
gaat Chicco BebèCare easy-tech autonoom gedurende 3 mi-
nuten verder met het zoeken naar het Bluetooth®-signaal van
de smartphone, waarna, als de verbinding nog niet tot stand
gebracht is, een kort akoestisch signaal wordt uitgezonden. In
ieder geval blijft het apparaat ook zonder verder akoestisch
signaal actief op zoek naar een Bluetooth®-verbinding tot het
weer wordt geopend.. Het alarmsysteem wordt geactiveerd
wanneer de smartphone die met het apparaat verbonden is,
zich van de auto waarop het accessoire aanwezig is, verwijdert.
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech heeft drie alarmniveaus’:
• Alarm 0: als het kind in de auto achterblijft en de smartphone
slechts enkele ogenblikken van de auto wordt verwijderd, ver-
stuurt het systeem een eenvoudige melding van verwijdering.
Als de verwijdering echter langer dan 3 minuten duurt, wordt
het alarm van het eerste niveau geactiveerd.
• Alarm van eerste niveau: in het geval dat de smartphone zich
gedurende meer dan 3 minuten verwijdert van de auto, waarin
het actieve apparaat geïnstalleerd is, gaat op de smartphone
een hoorbaar en zichtbaar alarm af dat binnen 40 seconden
kan worden stilgelegd. De smartphone dichter bij het apparaat
brengen stopt het alarm niet, maar u moet de app bedienen
en op de knop “STOP” drukken.
• Alarm van het tweede niveau: wordt geactiveerd wanneer
het alarm van het eerste niveau niet onderdrukt wordt binnen
het tijdvenster van het alarm van het eerste niveau, waarbij
alarmberichten verzonden worden
naar alle vooraf bepaalde alarmnummers met nuttige infor-
matie om het gebied waar het kind zich bevindt te geolokaliseren.
Maak aan het einde van de rit de veiligheidsgordels los en vergeet
niet het apparaat altijd te openen (Afb. 3) om het systeem uit te
schakelen en te voorkomen dat de alarmen geactiveerd worden.
De Chicco BebèCare APP biedt een pakket “alarmmeldingen”
die bij elk tweede alarmniveau verlaagd worden met een hoe-
veelheid gelijk aan het aantal ingevoegde noodcontacten. De
alarmmeldingen kunnen via de App Chicco BebèCare aan-
geschaft worden. n het geval van onvoldoende resterende
alarmmeldingen, moet men een van de pakketten aankopen
die beschikbaar zijn in het betreffende gedeelte ‘Aankopen’
van de APP. Als het aantal alarmmeldingen onvoldoende is,
is het systeem uitgeschakeld en functioneert het niet. Als er
geen internetverbinding is (mobiel datanetwerk of wifi), active-
ert Chicco BebèCare easy-tech het alarm 0 en het alarm van
het eerste niveau zonder problemen, maar kan mogelijk geen
alarmberichten naar de alarmnummers te sturen (alarm van
het tweede niveau).
• De App Chicco BebèCare ondersteunt niet alleen het Chic-
co BebèCare easy-tech anti-verlatingsapparaat, maar ook de
babyzitjes van het assortiment Chicco BebèCare-met geïnt-
egreerde sensoren, met behulp van dezelfde familie-account.
• Chicco BebèCare easy-tech hindert de normale werking van
het Bluetooth®-systeem niet dat zich eventueel in het voertuig
bevindt.
1.3 GEBRUIK VAN DE APP CHICCO BEBÈCARE
OP MEERDERE APPARATEN / SMARTPHONE
Na de registratie van de familie-account en de koppeling van
het apparaat Chicco BebèCare met de smartphone via de scan
van de QR-code, kunt u Chicco BebèCare ook gebruiken met
andere smartphones waarop de app Chicco BebèCare geïns-
talleerd is. U kunt dezelfde familie-account gebruiken met
een onbegrensd aantal smartphones waarop de app Chicco
BebèCare eerder geïnstalleerd is. De instellingen die eerder
vastgelegd zijn met de eerste smartphone (noodnummers, kop-
peling van apparaat en gegevens van het kind) zijn automatisch
beschikbaar op de andere smartphones met de app Chicco
BebèCare die dezelfde familie-account gebruiken.
BELANGRIJK: als het familie-wachtwoord wordt gewijzigd,
moet het nieuwe wachtwoord gedeeld worden met alle ge-
bruikers die dezelfde familie-account gebruiken.
BELANGRIJK: als er twee smartphones in dezelfde auto zijn
die eerder met het apparaat werden verbonden en waarop
de app Chicco BebèCare geactiveerd is, wordt het apparaat
met SLECHTS een van de twee verbonden op basis van de
reactiviteit van het Bluetooth®-systeem van de smartphone.
Deze staat kan niet gewijzigd worden totdat het apparaat uit-
geschakeld wordt door het te openen of totdat u het Blueto-
oth-signaal verliest.
Als de eigenaar van de smartphone die op dat moment met het
geactiveerde apparaat Chicco BebèCare easy-tech verbonden
is, zich van de auto verwijdert:
• wordt het alarm 0 geactiveerd op de smartphone; het alarm
kan uitgezet worden door op de knop “STOP” te drukken in
de APP.
• na enkele seconden wordt de tweede smartphone, die zich
nog in de auto bevindt, automatisch verbonden met het appa-
raat Chicco BebèCare easy-tech.
WAARSCHUWING: In het geval dat er twee of meer smar-
tphones tegelijkertijd worden gebruikt waarop de app Chicco
BebèCare is geïnstalleerd, dient u de smartphone die effectief
met het apparaat is verbonden te identificeren en nooit achter
te laten.
1.4 BEHEER VAN MEERDERE APPARATEN VAN DE FAMILIE
CHICCO BEBÈCARE MET EEN ENKELE FAMILIE-ACCOUNT
Het is mogelijk om maximaal 4 Chicco BebèCare-apparaten
(stoelen met geïntegreerde sensoren en / of accessoires) aan
dezelfde familie-account te koppelen door de hierboven be-
schreven handelingen te herhalen. De app Chicco BebèCare
houdt de staat van elk apparaat tegelijkertijd in het oog.
1.5 INTELLIGENTE ALARMEN
Het systeem Chicco BebèCare is ontworpen om de juiste on-
dersteuning te bieden bij de dagelijkse zorg voor kinderen, ook
in onvoorspelbare situaties. Het systeem begrijpt en analyseert
potentiële gevaren en activeert intelligente alarmsystemen die zijn
ontworpen om een hoger veiligheidsniveau te garanderen.
ALARM LEGE SMARTPHONEBATTERIJ
Als de smartphone van de bestuurder bijna leeg is, stuurt de app
een herinnering dat de telefoon moet worden opgeladen.
Bovendien kan een optionele service worden geactiveerd die
alarmmeldingen via Cloud Chicco verstuurt naar vooraf ingestelde
contacten, om deze contacten te waarschuwen dat de smartphone
van de bestuurder leeg is, zodat er in geval van nood geen alarm-
meldingen kunnen worden verstuurd.
Deze service kan worden geactiveerd in het gedeelte “Instellingen/
Meldingen” van de Chicco BebèCare-app.
ALARM STILSTAANDE WAGEN MET KIND
EN SMARTPHONE AAN BOORD
Als de auto van de bestuurder enige tijd stil staat met kind en
smartphone in het voertuig, kan de app deze situatie melden aan
de server en reageren met een speciaal alarm.
Het is ook mogelijk om een optionele service te activeren voor
het verzenden van alarmmeldingen via Cloud Chicco naar vooraf
ingestelde contacten, om deze contacten te waarschuwen dat de
bestuurder mogelijk zijn smartphone in de auto is vergeten omdat
de auto al een tijdje stil staat met het kind aan boord.
Deze service kan worden geactiveerd in het gedeelte “Instellingen/
Meldingen” van de Chicco BebèCare-app.
ALARM GEEN VERBINDING
Als de smartphone van de bestuurder te lang niet communiceert
met de Chicco Cloud, stuurt de app de bestuurder een waar-
schuwing dat de smartphone geen verbinding heeft.
Bovendien kan een optionele service worden geactiveerd die
alarmmeldingen via Cloud Chicco verstuurt naar vooraf ingestelde
contacten, om deze contacten te waarschuwen dat de smartphone
van de bestuurder de status niet goed communiceert, zodat er in
geval van nood geen alarmmeldingen kunnen worden verstuurd.
Deze service kan worden geactiveerd in het gedeelte “Instellingen/
Meldingen” van de Chicco BebèCare-app.
1.6 REGELMATIGE MELDING VAN KIND IN AUTO GEDU-
RENDE EEN LANGE TIJDSPERIODE
Wanneer het kind langer dan 30 minuten in het stoeltje bli-
jft zitten wanneer Chicco BebèCare easy-tech geactiveerd is,
verschijnt op de smartphone een push e-mail, vergezeld van
een kort geluidssignaal. Alleen het geluidssignaal kan door de
gebruiker uitgeschakeld worden op het scherm “instelling/mel-
dingen”.
1.7 BATTERIJ
Chicco BebèCare easy-tech werkt met 1 batterij
CR2032.
Met de app kunt u het niveau van de batterij in het ap-
paraat BebèCare easy-tech in het oog houden. Als het
niveau laag is, kan de gebruiker ze zelf vervangen door
een batterij met dezelfde kenmerken, met de polen naar
de juiste kant.
Om de batterij te vervangen, kan de gebruiker zelfstandig
verder gaan door het apparaat te openen (Afb. 4) en de
witte schaal volledig te scheiden van de blauwe compo-
nent. Draai de schroef los (Afb. 5), ga naar het batterijvak
(Afb. 6), vervang de batterij met inachtneming van de pola-
riteit (Fig. 7), schroef opnieuw (Afb. 8) en plaats het blauwe
onderdeel terug in de witte behuizing (Afb. 9).
1.8 HET ARTIKEL AFDANKEN
Voor het afdanken volgt u de onderstaande aanwijzingen
(paragrafen 1.7.1 – 1.7.2.).
1.8.1 DIT PRODUCT IS CONFORM AAN DE
RICHTLIJN 2012/19/UE
Het symbool met de doorstreepte vuilnisbak op het ap-
paraat geeft aan dat het product op het einde van zijn
levenscyclus afzonderlijk van het gewoon huishoudelijk
afval moet worden afgedankt en hiervoor naar een cen-
trum voor gescheiden afvalinzameling voor de recyclage
van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur worden ge-
bracht of worden terugbezorgd aan de verkoper op het
moment waarop een nieuw gelijkaardig apparaat wordt
aangekocht of afgeleverd moet worden aan distributeurs
met een verkoopruimte van elektrische en elektronische
apparatuur van ten minste 400 m2 gratis zonder enige
verplichting tot aankoop. De gebruiker is er verantwoor-
delijk voor het apparaat op het einde van de levenscyclus
naar een structuur voor afvalophaling te brengen. De cor-
recte gescheiden afvalophaling met het oog op de daa-
ropvolgende recyclage, verwerking en milieuvriendelijke
afdanking van het apparaat draagt bij tot het voorkomen
van mogelijke negatieve invloeden op het milieu en de
gezondheid en bevordert de recyclage van de materialen
waaruit het product is samengesteld. Voor meer gede-
tailleerde informatie over de recyclage van dit product
en de beschikbare ophaalsystemen, wendt u zich tot de
lokale dienst voor afvalophaling of de winkel waar u het
product hebt gekocht.
1.8.2 OVEREENSTEMMING MET DE
RICHTLIJN EU 2006/66/CE en daaropvolgende
wijzigingen
Het symbool van de doorgestreepte vuilnisbak op de bat-
terijen of de verpakking van het product geeft aan dat de
batterijen aan het einde van hun levensduur gescheiden
van het huisvuil ingezameld moeten worden en afzon-
derlijk van het normale huisvuil verwerkt mogen worden.
Breng de batterijen naar een centrum voor gescheiden
afvalinzameling of lever ze bij de winkelier in op het mo-
ment dat u nieuwe oplaadbare en niet-oplaadbare bat-
terijen koopt. Het eventuele scheikundige symbool Hg,
Cd, Pb op de doorgestreepte vuilnisbak geeft aan welke
stof in de batterij aanwezig is, Hg=Kwik, Cd=Cadmium,
Pb=Lood. De gebruiker moet de batterijen aan het einde
