1. RECARO EASY-TECH

RECARO Easy-Tech is a universal anti-abandonment

system designed and developed to signal the pre-

sence of a child in the car and alert users when they

accidentally leave the car without the child.

DISCLAIMER

• The use of this technology does not replace in

any manner the responsibility and/or supervision of

the vehicle driver (and/or its occupants). RECARO

Easy-Tech represents only a support aid: Never leave

the child unattended in the car.

• Artsana cannot be held liable in any manner in the

case of damaging events and/or consequences (also

related to the incorrect operation of the electronic

equipment) of any type, as RECARO Easy-Tech is so-

lely intended to be an aid and alarm to prevent events

and/or consequences caused by forgetfulness.

• Use of the equipment does not in any way replace

the supervision and responsibility of the driver/care-

giver/supervisor/tutor or anyone who is taking care

of the baby.

SAFETY WARNINGS

• RECARO Easy-Tech is not waterproof and if it co-

mes into contact with liquids of any kind it could stop

working.

• The correct preservation of RECARO Easy-Tech is

important to ensure unaltered operation of RECARO

Easy-Tech and must respect the limitations of tempe-

rature (from -20°C to +60°C) and humidity (< 95%).

• Warning! Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced

with one of the wrong type.

• CAUTION: Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Ha-

zard. This product contains a button cell battery. If the

button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe

internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.

Keep new and used batteries away from children.

If the battery compartment does not close securely,

stop using the product and keep it away from children.

If you think batteries might have been swallowed or

placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate

medical attention.

• Check that the smartphone is on and has enough

battery life when using RECARO Easy-Tech.

• During the ﬁrst installation, each time the family ac-

count is entered and when alarm messages are sent,

an internet connection must be available (mobile data

or Wi-Fi network).

• RECARO Easy-Tech only works together with a

smartphone that has the RECARO Kids App installed.

• If the smartphone is turned off, the RECARO

Easy-Tech system may not work.

• If the Bluetooth® on the smartphone is damaged,

the RECARO Easy-Tech system will not work.

• If there is no internet connection (mobile network

or WiFi), the App may not function fully.

• If the smartphone airplane mode is activated, the

RECARO Easy-Tech system will not work.

• The RECARO Kids App may only be downloaded

from ofﬁcial stores.

• If there is no internet connection (mobile network of

WiFi), RECARO Easy-Tech will correctly activate alarm

0 and the ﬁrst level alarm, but it may not be able to

send the alarm messages to the emergency numbers

(second level alarm).

• Constant access to smartphone position must be

permitted through localisation permissions in order for

the RECARO Kids App to support the full operation

of the system.

• For smartphone with iOS operating system, for each

new «Log in» you need to tap on the associated devi-

ce to connect it. To maintain the automatic connection

between the RECARO Easy-Tech device and the RE-

CARO Kids App, we suggest that you do not to log

out unless absolutely necessary.

• Do not quit the App (do not switch up the App) in

order to guarantee the correct functioning of the sy-

stem in any condition.

• In order to verify the correct operation of RECARO

Easy-Tech, it is important to periodically carry out tests to

open/close the accessory, verifying the relative state of the

App (Chapter 1.1, paragraph (e)).

Failure to comply with the above will result in malfunctio-

ning of RECARO Easy-Tech and/or the RECARO Kids App

and the consequent disabling of the system and/or failure

to send and/or receive alarm messages.

CAUTION

Check to perform each time RECARO Easy-Tech is

used:

• Check that the smartphone is on and has enough bat-

tery life when using RECARO Easy-Tech.

• Bluetooth® must be active.

• “Airplane” mode must be deactivated.

• GPS must always be active.

Check the RECARO Kids App for sufﬁcient alarm mes-

sages. If this is not the case, proceed with the purchase

of the necessary package.

• If two or more smartphones are used that have the

RECARO Kids App installed, it is necessary to identify

which one is actually connected to the equipment.

• Before each trip, check that the equipment is comple-

tely closed and that the state detected by the RECARO

Kids App is “connected - child seated.”

Failure to comply with the above will result in malfun-

ctioning of RECARO Easy-Tech and/or the RECARO Kids

d) Associating the equipment with the family account

To associate your RECARO Easy-Tech equipment with your fa-

mily account, carefully follow the instructions in the RECARO

Kids App, paying attention to the following.

1) Scan the QR code which is located inside the package

2) Close the equipment (until the green check is completely

visible through the window in the white casing) (Fig.1) to pro-

ceed with the ﬁrst association. To ensure Bluetooth® con-

nection, make sure you are close to your smartphone. The

system activates/connects a few seconds after the device

is closed.

Up to a maximum of 4 RECARO Easy-Tech devices can be

associated with the same family account. The speciﬁc car

equipment can be associated permanently with one family

account ONLY.

IMPORTANT: When scanning the QR code, an internet con-

nection must be available (mobile data or WiFi network).

e) Check the correct operation of the equipment

When using the ﬁrst time, to verify the correct operation of

RECARO Easy-Tech, it is important to do some tests, verifying

the relative state of the App as follows:

- Close the accessory; state detected by the RECARO Kids

App “connected - child seated”

- Then open the accessory: the possible states detected by

the App are either “connected” or “disconnected” depending

on how long it takes between opening the accessory and

displaying it in the App.

f) Enter the information about the baby

After associating the equipment with the family account,

enter the name and date of birth of the child. You can also

enter a photograph.

1.2 HOW RECARO EASY-TECH WORKS

Place the child on the seat and secure him with the re-

straint systems provided for the type of seat in use.

Use the clip (A) on the white casing of the equipment to

attach the accessory preferably to the shoulder strap of the

seat or to the diagonal portion of the seat belt (Fig.2). Now

completely close the equipment as indicated in Chapter

1.1, paragraph d), item 2.

When closed with the green check fully visible through the

special window on the white outer shell, the user is notiﬁed

that the product has been activated by means of a special

wake-up acoustic signal.

This is followed by an intermittent sound that informs the

user that the product is searching for the Bluetooth® signal

from the smartphone. A “beep” notiﬁes the user once the

connection has been made successfully.

Make sure that the state detected by the RECARO Kids

App is “connected - child seated.” From this moment on,

the equipment is active and the presence of the child can

be monitored through the RECARO Kids App.

WARNING! If the connection does not occur within 20

a) Download the RECARO Kids App

The RECARO Kids App must be downloaded. When accessing

for the ﬁrst time, the App will provide all the instructions to

follow to register the account and use RECARO Easy-Tech.

b) Create the family account

A “family account” must be created with a single password.

This account will be the only one that can be used by those

who use that speciﬁc equipment. The password is shared with

all users who will interact with the equipment.

IMPORTANT: When creating the family account, an internet

connection must be available (mobile data or WiFi network).

IMPORTANT: In the event that the family password is chan-

ged, the new password must be shared with all users who

share the same family account.

c) Enter the emergency numbers

The emergency numbers to which the alarm mes-wise (se-

cond level) containing the data required to geolocate the child

must be entered when accessing for the ﬁrst time. A mini-

mum of 3 to a maximum of 5 emergency numbers can be

entered. The emergency numbers must be selected from the

contacts in your smartphone and can be added, deleted and/

seconds, the user is notiﬁed by a short acoustic signal (fai-

led connection). If the device remains closed, RECARO

Easy-Tech automatically continues searching for the smar-

tphone Bluetooth® signal for 3 minutes. If the connection

has still not been made after this time, a short acoustic

signal is emitted. In any case, even though no further acou-

stic signal is emitted, the device continues to search for a

Bluetooth® connection until it is opened again. The alarm

system is activated when the smartphone connected to the

equipment moves away from the car in which the closed

accessory is present.

RECARO Easy-Tech features three alarm levels:

• Alarm 0: If the child is left on board and the smartphone

moves away only brieﬂy, the system will send a simple

distance alert. However, if the smartphone stays away for

more than 3 minutes the ﬁrst level alarm will be triggered.

• First level alarm: Should the smartphone move away

from the vehicle in which the equipment was installed and

activated, for more than 3 minutes, the phone will emit

an acoustic and visual alarm that can be muted within 40

seconds. Moving the smartphone towards the equipment

does not stop the alarm. The “STOP” button in the RECA-

RO Kids App must be pressed in order to deactivate the alarm.

• Second level alarm: This is activated the moment in whi-

ch the ﬁrst level alarm was not silenced within the time

window provided for the ﬁrst level alarm, and sends alarm

messages to all the predeﬁned emergency numbers with

the information needed for geolocating the area where the

baby is located.

At the end of the trip, unbuckle the seat belts, remembe-

ring to always open the equipment (Fig. 3) to deactivate

the system and prevent the alarms from being activated.

The RECARO Kids App comes with a package of alarm

messages” that will decrease with every second level

alarm message by a number equal to that of the emer-

gency contacts entered. Alarm messages can be bought

through the RECARO Kids App. In case of insufﬁcient re-

sidual alarm messages, proceed with the purchase of one

of the packages available in the “Purchases” section of the

App. If the number of alarm messages is insufﬁcient, the

system is disabled and is not working. If there is no internet

connection (mobile network of WiFi), RECARO Easy-Tech

will correctly activate alarm 0 and the ﬁrst level alarm, but it

may not be able to send the alarm messages to the emer-

gency numbers (second level alarm).

• RECARO Easy-Tech does not interfere with the normal

operation of the Bluetooth® system that may be present

in the car.

1.3 USING THE RECARO KIDS APP ON MULTIPLE

DEVICES/SMARTPHONES

After registering the family account and associating the

car seat with RECARO Easy-Tech equipment using the

smartphone by scanning the QR code, it is possible to use

RECARO Easy-Tech also with other smartphones that have

the RECARO Kids App installed. It is possible to use the

same family account with an unlimited number of smar-

tphones that have previously installed the RECARO Kids

App. The settings predeﬁned using the ﬁrst smartphone

(emergency numbers, association of the equipment and

the child’s data) will be automatically available also on the

other smartphones with the RECARO Kids App and that

are using the same family account.

IMPORTANT: in the event that the family password is chan-

ged, the new password must be shared with all users who

share the same family account.

IMPORTANT: if there are two smartphones in the same car

that were previously associated with the equipment and

both have the RECARO Kids App active, the equipment will

connect with ONLY one of the two based on the reactivity

of the Bluetooth® system of the individual smartphones

and this condition cannot be changed until the equipment

is deactivated by opening the equipment or until the Blue-

tooth® signal is lost.

If the person with the smartphone that is connected with

the RECARO Easy-Tech equipment at that moment moves

away from the car:

• alarm 0 and subsequently the ﬁrst level alarm will activate

on the smartphone, which can be silenced by interacting

with the App and pressing the “STOP” button.

• after a few seconds, the second smartphone that is still

in the car will automatically connect with the RECARO

Easy-Tech equipment.

WARNING: If two or more smartphones are used that have

the RECARO Kids App installed, it is necessary to identify

which one is effectively connected to the equipment and

therefore must never be abandoned.

1.4 MANAGING MULTIPLE DEVICES BELONGING TO THE

RECARO EASY-TECH FAMILY WITH A SINGLE FAMILY AC-

COUNT

A maximum of 4 RECARO Easy-Tech devices can be as-

sociated with the same family account, by repeating the

operations described previously. The RECARO Kids App will

monitor the status of each device at the same time.

1.5 SMART WARNINGS

The RECARO Easy-Tech system is designed to assist peo-

ple with the everyday task of caring for children, including

in unpredictable circumstances. The system is, in fact, ca-

pable of analysing and understanding the speciﬁc potential-

ly dangerous circumstance and activating smart warnings

designed to guarantee a higher level of safety.

SMARTPHONE BATTERY DEAD WARNING

If the driver’s smartphone battery is almost ﬂat, the App

sends the driver a notiﬁcation as a reminder that the battery

needs charging.

In addition, an optional service can be activated through

the RECARO Cloud to send a warning message to selected

contacts, informing them that the driver’s smartphone bat-

tery is dead and will not be able to send warning messages

in the event of an emergency.

The service can be activated through the “Settings/Notiﬁ-

cations” section of the RECARO Kids App.

CAR PARKED WITH CHILD AND SMARTPHONE

ON BOARD WARNING

If the driver’s vehicle remains parked for a significant

amount of time with the smartphone and the child on bo-

and electronic appliances or by returning it to your de-

aler when you buy another similar appliance, or leaving

it free of charge at distributors with a sales area of

electrical and electronic equipment of at least 400 sqm

without any obligation to make a purchase. The user is

responsible for taking the appliance to a special waste

disposal site at the end of its life. If the disused ap-

pliance is collected correctly as separate waste, it can

be recycled, treated and disposed of ecologically; this

avoids a negative impact on both the environment and

health, and contributes towards the recycling of the

product’s materials. For further information regarding

the waste disposal services available, contact your local

waste disposal agency or the shop where you bought

the appliance.

1.8.2 COMPLIANT WITH EU DIRECTIVE 2006/66/

EC as amended.

The crossed bin symbol on the batteries or the product

packaging indicates that, at the end of their life, they

must be disposed of separately from domestic waste,

either by taking them to a separate waste disposal

site for batteries or by returning them to your retailer

when you buy similar rechargeable or non-rechargeable

batteries. Chemical symbols (Hg for mercury, Cd for

cadmium, Pb for lead) printed beneath the crossed-out

wheeled bin symbol indicate the type of substance

contained in the battery. The user is responsible for

bringing batteries, at the end of their life, to the appro-

priate collection facilities in order to facilitate treatment

and recycling. The correct separate waste disposal of

your old toy will help prevent potential negative conse-

quences for the environment and human health and fa-

vour the recycling of the materials of which the product

is made. Illegal disposal of the product by the user will

damage the environment and human health. For further

information regarding the waste disposal services avai-

lable, contact your local waste disposal agency or the

shop where you bought the appliance.

DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE.

Hereby, Artsana S.p.A. declares that the radio equi-

pment type ET123FL is in compliance with Directive

2014/53/EU. The complete text of the EU Declaration of

Compliance is available at: easy-tech.recaro-kids.com.

In accordance with European Commission Decision No.

2000/299/EC dated 06/04/2000, the frequency band

used by this product has been harmonised for all EU

Countries and this is therefore a Class 1 product which

can be used in all European Union Countries.

The equipment works together with the Bluetooth®

Low-Energy standard.

• Frequency ranges: 2.402 GHz – 2.480 GHz ISM band;

• Channels: 40 channels, each with a band with equal

to 2 MHz;

• Maximum transmission power: +3 dBm

• Standard Radio: 802.15.1;

An optional service can, in fact, be activated through the

RECARO Cloud to send a warning message to selected

contacts, informing them that the driver may have forgotten

his/her smartphone in the car, since the car has been par-

ked for an extended period of time with the child on board.

The service can be activated through the “Settings/Notiﬁ-

cations” section of the RECARO Kids App.

NO NETWORK SIGNAL WARNING

If the driver’s smartphone is unable to communicate with

the RECARO Cloud for an excessive amount of time, the

app will send a notiﬁcation informing the driver that his/her

smartphone has no reception.

In addition, an optional service can be activated through

the RECARO Cloud to send a warning message to selected

contacts, informing them that the driver’s smartphone is

not sending status updates properly and will not be able

to send warning messages in the event of an emergency.

The service can be activated through the “Settings/Notiﬁ-

cations” section of the RECARO Kids App.

1.6 PERIODIC NOTIFICATION OF CHILD IN THE CAR FOR

A PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME

If the child remains in the car seat with RECARO Easy-Tech

activated for more than 30 minutes, a push notiﬁcation will

appear on the smartphone, accompanied by a brief acoustic

signal. The user can disable only the acoustic signal on the

“settings/notiﬁcations” screen.

1.7 BATTERY

RECARO Easy-Tech works with 1 CR2032 battery. You

can monitor the level of the battery found in RECARO

Easy-Tech equipment through the App. If the level is

low, the user can replace the battery with another

with the same characteristics on their own, making

sure they are the right way round.

To replace the battery, the user can proceed indepen-

dently by opening the equipment (Fig. 3) and comple-

tely separating the white cover from the black compo-

nent. Remove the screw (Fig. 4), access the battery

compartment (Fig. 5), replace the battery respecting

the polarity (Fig. 6), screw back (Fig. 7) and ﬁt the

black component inside the white shell again (Fig. 8).

1.8 DISPOSING OF THE PRODUCT

Follow the instructions provided below for disposal (Pa-

ragraphs 1.7.1 – 1.7.2.).

• Per gli smartphone con sistema operativo iOS, ad

ogni nuovo «Log in» è necessario fare tap sul di-

spositivo associato per connetterlo. Afﬁnché venga

mantenuta la connessione automatica tra dispositivo

RECARO Easy-Tech e App RECARO Kids Kids si sug-

gerisci di non effettuare il log out, se non strettamen-

te necessario.

• Per garantire in qualsiasi condizione il corretto fun-

zionamento del sistema non forzare la chiusura della

App: non scorrere verso l’alto la App.

• Per verificare il corretto funzionamento di RECARO

Easy-Tech è importante fare periodicamente delle prove

di apertura/chiusura dell’accessorio, veriﬁcando il relativo

stato della App (Capitolo 1.1, paragrafo e)).

La mancata osservanza di quanto sopra comporta il malfun-

zionamento di RECARO Easy-Tech e/o dell’ App RECARO

Kids con conseguente disabilitazione del sistema e/o man-

cato invio e/o ricevimento dei messaggi di allarme.

ATTENZIONE

Controllo da effettuare ogni volta che si utilizza RE-

CARO Easy-Tech:

• Accertarsi che lo smartphone sia acceso e abbia

autonomia sufﬁciente durante l’utilizzo di RECARO

Easy-Tech.

• Il Bluetooth® deve essere attivo.

• La modalità “aereo” deve essere disattivata.

• Il GPS deve essere sempre attivo.

smartphone su cui è installata la App RECARO Kids

occorre identiﬁcare quello effettivamente connesso

al dispositivo.

•Prima di ogni viaggio veriﬁcare che il dispositivo sia

chiuso completamente e che lo stato rilevato dalla

App RECARO Kids sia “connesso – bambino seduto”.

La mancata osservanza di quanto sopra comporta il

malfunzionamento di RECARO Easy-Tech e/o dell’

App RECARO Kids con conseguente disabilitazione

del sistema e/o mancato invio e/o ricevimento dei

messaggi di allarme.

IMPORTANTE: Nell’operazione di creazione dell’account

famiglia è necessario disporre di una connessione internet

(rete dati mobile o WiFi).

IMPORTANTE: Qualora la password famiglia venga modiﬁ-

cata, la nuova password deve essere condivisa con tutti gli

utenti che utilizzano lo stesso account famiglia.

c) Inserimento numeri di emergenza

Al primo accesso è necessario inserire i numeri di emergen-

za ai quali verranno inviati i messaggi di allarme (secondo

livello) contenente i dati che serviranno a geolocalizzare

l’area in cui si trova il bambino. I numeri di emergenza da

inserire sono un minimo di 3 ﬁno ad un massimo 5. I numeri

di emergenza devono essere selezionati dalla rubrica del

proprio smartphone e possono essere aggiunti, cancellati

e/o sostituti nel tempo.

IMPORTANTE: Durante questa operazione è necessario di-

sporre di una connessione internet (rete dati mobile o WiFi).

IMPORTANTE: I numeri di emergenza devono essere nu-

meri di telefonia mobile, non di rete ﬁssa o di emergenza

nazionale.

IMPORTANTE: Effettuare sempre una veriﬁca di correttezza

e funzionamento dei numeri di emergenza dopo aver com-

pletato l’inserimento.

d) Associazione del dispositivo con l’account famiglia

Per associare il dispositivo RECARO Easy-Tech all’account

famiglia è necessario seguire attentamente le indicazioni

riportate nella App RECARO Kids, facendo attenzione a

quanto segue.

1) Procedere con la scansione del QR code, che si trova

all’interno della confezione

2) Chiudere il dispositivo (ﬁno a quando la spunta verde non

sarà completamente visibile attraverso l’apposita ﬁnestra ri-

cavata sul guscio bianco) (Fig.1) per procedere alla prima

associazione. Per garantire la connessione Bluetooth® assi-

curarsi di essere in prossimità dello smartphone. Il sistema

si attiva/connette dopo alcuni secondi dalla chiusura del di-

spositivo. Possono essere associati allo stesso account fami-

glia ﬁno ad un massimo di 4 dispositivi RECARO Easy-Tech.

Lo speciﬁco dispositivo può essere associato ad un SOLO

account famiglia in modo irreversibile.

IMPORTANTE: Durante la scansione del QR è necessario

disporre di una connessione internet (rete dati mobile o

WiFi).

e) Veriﬁcare corretto funzionamento del dispositivo

Al primo utilizzo, per veriﬁcare il corretto funzionamento di

RECARO Easy-Tech è importante fare delle prove, veriﬁcan-

do il relativo stato della App come segue:

- Chiudere l’accessorio: stato rilevato dalla App RECARO Kid-

s“connesso – bambino seduto”

- Successivamente aprire l’accessorio: gli stati possibili rile-

vati dalla App possono essere “connesso” o “disconnesso”

a seconda di quanto tempo passa tra l’apertura dell’acces-

sorio e la visualizzazione in App.

f) Inserimento dati del bambino

Dopo aver associato il dispositivo all’account famiglia, è

necessario inserire il nome e la data di nascita del bambino.

È possibile anche inserire una sua foto.

1.2 COME FUNZIONA RECARO EASY-TECH

Posizionare il bambino sul seggiolino e assicurarlo con i

sistemi di ritenuta previsti dalla tipologia di seggiolino in

a) Scaricare la App RECARO Kids

È necessario scaricare la App RECARO Kids. Al primo ac-

cesso, la App fornirà tutte le istruzioni da seguire per regi-

strare l’account e per utilizzare RECARO Easy-Tech.

b) Creazione dell’account famiglia

È necessario creare un “account famiglia” con un’unica

password. Questo account sarà l’unico a poter essere utiliz-

zato da coloro che useranno quello speciﬁco dispositivo. La

password è condivisa con tutti gli utenti che interagiranno

con il dispositivo.

A questo punto chiudere completamente il dispositivo

come indicato nel Capitolo 1.1, Paragrafo d), Punto 2.

Quando è chiuso con la spunta verde completamente visi-

bile attraverso l’apposita ﬁnestra ricavata sul guscio bianco,

l’utente viene avvisato dell’attivazione attraverso un appo-

sito segnale acustico di risveglio. A seguire parte un suono

intermittente che avvisa della ricerca in corso del segnale

Bluetooth® dello smartphone. Non appena quest’ultimo si

connette l’utente viene avvisato da un «beep» di avvenuta

connessione. Veriﬁcare che lo stato rilevato dalla App RE-

CARO Kids sia “connesso – bambino seduto”.

Da questo momento in poi il dispositivo è attivo e la presenza

del bambino è monitorabile attraverso la App RECARO Kids.

ATTENZIONE! Se la connessione non avviene entro 20 se-

condi, l’utente viene avvisato da un breve segnale acusti-

co (mancata connessione). Se il dispositivo rimane chiuso,

RECARO Easy-Tech continua autonomamente la ricerca del

segnale Bluetooth® dello smartphone per 3 minuti, al ter-

mine dei quali, se la connessione non è ancora avvenuta,

viene emesso un breve segnale acustico. Ad ogni modo,

seppur senza alcuna ulteriore segnalazione acustica, il di-

spositivo rimane attivo alla ricerca di una connessione Blue-

tooth® ﬁno a nuova apertura. Il sistema di allarme si attiva

nel momento in cui lo smartphone connesso al dispositivo

si allontana dall’auto su cui è presente l’accessorio chiuso.

RECARO Easy-Tech prevede tre livelli di allarme:

• Allarme 0: se il bambino viene lasciato a bordo e lo smar-

phone si allontana dalla macchina solo per alcuni istanti, il

sistema invierà una semplice notiﬁca di allontanamento.

Qualora però l’allontanamento dovesse superare i 3 minuti

di tempo a quel punto scatterà l’allarme di primo livello.

• Allarme di primo livello: qualora lo smartphone dovesse

allontanarsi dall’auto su cui è installato il dispositivo attivo

per più di 3 minuti, comparirà sullo smartphone un allarme

acustico e visivo che è possibile silenziare entro 40 secon-

di. Il riavvicinamento dello smartphone al dispositivo non

determina il cessato allarme, ma è indispensabile interagire

con la App premendo il pulsante “STOP”.

• Allarme di secondo livello: si attiva nel momento in cui

l’allarme di primo livello non è stato silenziato nella ﬁne-

stra temporale prevista dall’allarme di primo livello, inviando

messaggi di allarme a tutti i numeri di emergenza predeﬁniti

con le indicazioni utili a geolocalizzare l’area in cui si trova

il bambino. Al termine del viaggio, slacciare le cinture di

sicurezza ricordandosi di aprire sempre il dispositivo (Fig. 3)

in modo da disattivare il sistema ed evitare che si attivino gli

allarmi. La App RECARO Kids offre in dotazione un pacchet-

to di «messaggi di allarme» che verrà decrementato ad ogni

allarme di secondo livello di una quantità pari al numero di

contatti di emergenza inseriti. E’ possibile acquistare i mes-

saggi di allarme attraverso la App RECARO Kids. In caso di

messaggi di allarme residui insufﬁcienti occorre procedere

con l’acquisto di uno dei pacchetti disponibili nell’apposita

sezione «Acquisti» della App. Se il numero di messaggi di

allarme è insufﬁciente, il sistema viene disabilitato e risulta

non funzionante. Nel caso non vi sia connessione internet

(rete dati mobile o WiFi) RECARO Easy-Tech attiva corret-

tamente l’allarme 0 e l’allarme di Primo Livello, mentre po-

trebbe non essere in grado di inviare i messaggi di allarme

ai numeri di emergenza (Allarme di Secondo Livello).

• RECARO Easy-Tech non interferisce nel normale funzio-

namento del sistema Bluetooth® eventualmente presente

nell’autoveicolo.

1.3 UTILIZZO DELLA APP RECARO KIDS

SU PIÙ DISPOSITIVI / SMARTPHONE

Dopo aver fatto la registrazione dell’account famiglia ed

aver associato il dispositivo RECARO Easy-Tech con lo

smartphone attraverso la scansione del QR code, è possi-

bile utilizzare RECARO Easy-Tech anche con altri smartpho-

ne che hanno installata la App RECARO Kids. E’ possibile

utilizzare lo stesso account famiglia su un numero illimitato

di smartphone che hanno precedentemente installato la

App RECARO Kids. Le impostazioni predeﬁnite mediante il

primo smartphone (numeri emergenza, associazione dispo-

sitivo e dati bambino) saranno automaticamente disponibili

anche sugli altri smartphone con la App RECARO Kids e che

utilizzano lo stesso account famiglia.

IMPORTANTE: qualora la password famiglia venga modiﬁ-

cata, la nuova password deve essere condivisa con tutti gli

utenti che utilizzano lo stesso account famiglia.

IMPORTANTE: se sulla stessa auto sono presenti due

smartphone precedentemente associati con il dispositivo e

con attiva la App RECARO Kids, il dispositivo si connetterà

con SOLO uno dei due in base alla reattività del sistema

Bluetooth® del singolo smartphone e questa condizione

non potrà essere modificata fino alla disattivazione del

dispositivo mediante l’apertura del dispositivo o ﬁno alla

perdita del segnale Bluetooth®.

Qualora il possessore dello smartphone in quel momento

connesso con il dispositivo RECARO Easy-Tech attivato si

allontani dall’auto:

• si attiva l’allarme 0 ed eventualmente l’allarme di primo

livello sul suo smartphone che può essere silenziato intera-

gendo con la App premendo sul pulsante “STOP”.

• dopo pochi secondi, il secondo smartphone ancora in

auto si connetterà automaticamente al dispositivo RECARO

Easy-Tech.

ATTENZIONE: in caso si utilizzino contemporaneamente

due o più smartphone su cui è installata la App RECARO

1.4 GESTIONE MULTIPLA DI DISPOSITIVI APPARTENEN-

TI ALLA FAMIGLIA RECARO EASY-TECH MEDIANTE UN

UNICO ACCOUNT FAMIGLIA

E’ possibile associare ad uno stesso account famiglia un

massimo di 4 dispositivi RECARO Easy-Tech, ripetendo le

operazioni precedentemente descritte. La App RECARO

Kids monitorerà lo stato di ciascun dispositivo contempo-

raneamente.

1.5 ALLARMI INTELLIGENTI

Il sistema RECARO Easy-Tech è studiato per dare, anche in

circostanze non prevedibili, il giusto supporto a coloro che

si prendono cura dei bambini nella quotidianità. Infatti, è in

grado di comprendere e analizzare la speciﬁca condizione di

potenziale pericolo, attivando sistemi di allarmi intelligenti

pensati per garantire un livello di sicurezza maggiore.

1.8 SMALTIMENTO DEL PRODOTTO

acquisto. L’utente è responsabile del conferimento

dell’apparecchio a ﬁne vita alle appropriate strutture

di raccolta. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio

successivo dell’apparecchio dismesso al riciclaggio, al

trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente com-

patibile contribuisce a evitare possibili effetti negativi

sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il riciclo dei ma-

teriali di cui è composto il prodotto. Per informazioni

più dettagliate inerenti i sistemi di raccolta disponibili,

rivolgersi al servizio locale di smaltimento riﬁuti, o al

negozio in cui è stato effettuato l’acquisto.

1.8.2 CONFORMITA’ ALLA DIRETTIVA EU

responsabile del conferimento delle pile a ﬁne vita alle

appropriate strutture di raccolta al ﬁne di agevolare il

trattamento e il riciclaggio. L’adeguata raccolta differen-

ziata per l’avvio successivo delle pile esauste al riciclag-

gio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente

compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti ne-

gativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute umana e favorisce il

riciclo delle sostanze di cui sono composte le pile. Lo

smaltimento abusivo del prodotto da parte dell’utente

comporta danni all’ambiente e alla salute umana. Per

informazioni più dettagliate inerenti i sistemi di raccolta

disponibili, rivolgersi al servizio locale di smaltimento

riﬁuti, o al negozio in cui è stato effettuato l’acquisto.

ALLARME SMARTPHONE SCARICO

Se lo smartphone del conducente sta per scaricarsi, la App

gli invia una notiﬁca ricordandogli che è necessario ricaricarlo.

Inoltre, è possibile attivare un servizio opzionale di invio

di messaggi di allarme tramite Cloud RECARO ai contatti

preimpostati per avvisarli che lo smartphone del conducente

è scarico e quindi non può inviare messaggi di allarme in

caso di emergenza.

Questo servizio si può attivare accedendo alla sezione “Im-

postazioni/Notiﬁche” della App RECARO Kids.

ALLARME AUTO FERMA CON BIMBO

E SMARTPHONE A BORDO

Se l’auto del conducente risulta ferma da diverso tempo con

bimbo e lo smartphone a bordo, la App è in grado di segna-

lare al server questa anomalia e reagire con uno speciﬁco

allarme.

Infatti, è possibile attivare un servizio opzionale di invio

di messaggi di allarme tramite Cloud RECARO ai contatti

preimpostati per avvisarli che il conducente potrebbe aver

dimenticato il proprio smartphone in auto perché quest’ul-

tima risulta ferma da diverso tempo con il bimbo a bordo.

Questo servizio si può attivare accedendo alla sezione “Im-

postazioni/Notiﬁche” della App RECARO Kids.

ALLARME MANCATA CONNESSIONE

Nel caso in cui lo smartphone del conducente non doves-

se riuscire a comunicare con il Cloud RECARO per troppo

tempo, la App gli invia una notiﬁca avvisandolo che il suo

smartphone è senza connessione.

Inoltre, è possibile attivare un servizio opzionale di invio di

messaggi di allarme tramite Cloud RERCARO ai contatti

preimpostati per avvisarli che lo smartphone del conducente

non sta comunicando lo stato correttamente e quindi non è

in grado di inviare messaggi di allarme in caso di emergenza.

Questo servizio si può attivare accedendo alla sezione “Im-

postazioni/Notiﬁche” della App RECARO Kids.

1.6 NOTIFICA PERIODICA BIMBO A BORDO PER

UN PERIODO DI TEMPO PROLUNGATO

Qualora il bambino rimanga seduto sul seggiolino con RECA-

RO Easy-Tech attivato per più di 30 minuti, sullo smartphone

compare una notiﬁca push, accompagnata da un breve se-

gnale acustico. Solo il segnale acustico può essere disabi-

litato dall’utente mediante la schermata “setting/notiﬁche”.

1.7 BATTERIA

RECARO Easy-Tech funziona con 1 batteria CR2032.

Attraverso la App è possibile monitorare il livello della

batteria presente all’interno del dispositivo RECARO

Easy-Tech. In caso di livello basso, l’utente può pro-

cedere autonomamente alla sostituzione con batteria

delle medesime caratteristiche, rispettando la corret-

ta polarità.

Per la sostituzione della batteria l’utente può pro-

cedere autonomamente aprendo il dispositivo (Fig.

3) e separando completamente il guscio bianco dal

componente nero. Svitare la vite (Fig. 4), accedere al

vano batteria (Fig. 5), sostituire la batteria rispettan-

do la polarità (Fig. 6), riavvitare (Fig. 7) e reinserire il

• RECARO Easy-Tech fonctionne uniquement en prés-

ence d’un smartphone avec l’application RECARO

Kids installée.

• Si l’on éteint le smartphone, le système RECARO

Easy-Tech pourrait ne pas fonctionner.

• Si le Bluetooth® du smartphone est endommagé,

le système RECARO Easy-Tech ne fonctionne pas.

tation iOS, à chaque nouvelle «Connexion» il faut

appuyer sur le dispositif associé pour le connecter.

Aﬁn de maintenir la connexion automatique entre le

dispositif RECARO Easy-Tech et l’application RECARO

Kids, il est recommandé de se déconnecter unique-

ment si cela est strictement nécessaire.

• Pour assurer le bon fonctionnement du système

dans toutes les conditions, ne pas forcer la fermeture

de l’application: ne pas faire déﬁler l’application vers

le haut.

• Pour vériﬁer le bon fonctionnement de RECARO

Easy-Tech, il est important d’effectuer régulièrement

des essais d’ouverture/fermeture de l’accessoire, en

vériﬁant l’état correspondant de l’application de la ma-

nière suivante (Chapitre 1.1, paragraphe e)).

Le non-respect des points précédents comporte le

dysfonctionnement de RECARO Easy-Tech et/ou de

Contrôle à effectuer chaque fois que l’on utilise RECA-

RO Easy-Tech:

• Assurez-vous que votre smartphone soit allumé et di-

spose d’une autonomie sufﬁsante lors de l’utilisation de

RECARO Easy-Tech.

• Le Bluetooth® doit être actif.

• Le mode «avion» doit être désactivé.

• Le GPS doit toujours être actif.

Contrôler dans l’application RECARO Kids la présence

d’un nombre sufﬁsant de messages d’alerte. À défaut,

acheter le pack nécessaire.

• En cas d’utilisation simultanée de deux ou plusieurs

smartphones sur lesquels est installée L’App RECARO

Kids, il est nécessaire d’identiﬁer celui qui est effective-

ment connecté au dispositif.

• Avant de prendre la route, vériﬁer que le dispositif est

complètement fermé et que l’état détecté par l’applica-

tion RECARO Kids est «connecté - enfant assis».

Le non-respect des points précédents comporte le dy-

sfonctionnement de RECARO Easy-Tech et/ou de L’App

RECARO Kids, ce qui entraîne la désactivation du système

et/ou l’absence d’envoi et/ou de réception des messages

d’alerte.

b) Création du compte famille

Il est nécessaire de créer un «compte famille» avec un seul

mot de passe. Ce compte sera le seul à pouvoir être utilisé

par ceux qui utiliseront ce dispositif spéciﬁque. Le mot de

passe est partagé avec tous les utilisateurs qui interagissent

avec le dispositif.

IMPORTANT: Pendant l’opération de création du compte fa-

mille, il est nécessaire de disposer d’une connexion internet

(réseau données mobiles ou Wi-Fi).

IMPORTANT: Si le mot de passe famille est modiﬁé, le nou-

veau mot de passe doit être partagé avec tous les utilisateurs

du même compte famille.

c) Saisie numéros d’urgence

Lors du premier accès, il faut entrer les numéros d’urgence

auxquels seront envoyés les messages d’alerte (second ni-

veau) contenant les données servant à géolocaliser la zone

où se trouve l’enfant. Les numéros d’urgence à saisir sont

au minimum 3 et au maximum 5. Les numéros d’urgence

doivent être sélectionnés dans la rubrique du smartphone

et peuvent être ajoutés, supprimés et/ou remplacés dans

le temps.

IMPORTANT: Pendant cette opération, il est nécessaire de

disposer d’une connexion internet (réseau données mobiles

ou Wi-Fi).

IMPORTANT: Les numéros d’urgence doivent être des

numéros de téléphonie mobile, non des numéros de

téléphones ﬁxes ou d’urgence nationale.

IMPORTANT: Toujours vériﬁer l’exactitude et le bon fon-

ctionnement des numéros d’urgence après avoir terminé

la saisie.

d) Association du dispositif au compte famille

Pour associer le dispositif RECARO Easy-Tech au compte fa-

mille, suivre attentivement les indications fournies dans L’App

RECARO Kids, en faisant particulièrement attention aux points

suivants.

1) Scanner le code QR qui se trouve dans l’emballage

2) Éteindre le dispositif (jusqu’à ce que la coche verte soit

complètement visible à travers la fenêtre sur la coque blanche)

(Fig. 1) pour effectuer la première association. Pour garantir la

connexion Bluetooth®, s’assurer d’être à proximité du smar-

tphone. Le système s’active/se connecte quelques secondes

après la fermeture du dispositif.

Il est possible d’associer un maximum de 4 dispositifs RECA-

RO Easy-Tech au même compte famille. Le dispositif spécif-

ique peut être associé à un SEUL compte famille et cette

opération est irréversible.

IMPORTANT: Pendant le scan du QR code, il est nécessaire

de disposer d’une connexion internet (réseau données mo-

biles ou Wi-Fi).

e) Vériﬁer le bon fonctionnement du dispositif

Lors de la première utilisation, pour vériﬁer le bon fonction-

nement de RECARO Easy-Tech, il est important d’effectuer

des essais en vériﬁant l’état correspondant de l’application

de la manière suivante:

- Fermer l’accessoire: état détecté par l’application RECA-

RO Kids «connecté - enfant assis»

- Puis ouvrir l’accessoire: les états possibles détectés par

l’application peuvent être «connecté» ou «déconnecté»

en fonction du temps qui s’écoule entre l’ouverture de l’ac-

cessoire et l’afﬁchage dans l’application.

1.1 COMMENT ACTIVER RECARO EASY-TECH

a) Télécharger L’App RECARO Kids

Il est nécessaire de télécharger L’App RECARO Kids. Au pre-

mier accès, l’application fournira toutes les instructions à

suivre pour enregistrer le compte et pour utiliser RECARO

f) Saisie des données de l’enfant

Après avoir associé le dispositif au compte famille, il est

nécessaire de saisir le nom et la date de naissance de

l’enfant. Il est également possible d’insérer une photo de

l’enfant.

1.2 COMMENT FONCTIONNE RECARO EASY-TECH

Installer l’enfant dans le siège-auto et l’attacher à l’aide des

systèmes de retenue prévus pour le type de siège-auto

utilisé. Utiliser le clip spécial (A) situé sur la coque blanche

du dispositif pour ﬁxer l’accessoire de préférence au cou-

vre-harnais du siège-auto ou à la section diagonale de la

ceinture de la voiture (Fig.2).

Fermer complètement le dispositif comme indiqué au Cha-

pitre 1.1, Paragraphe d), Point 2.

Lorsqu’il est fermé et que la coche verte est complètement

visible à travers la fenêtre présente sur la coque blanche,

l’utilisateur est averti de l’activation par un signal sonore

spécial.

Après quoi, un son intermittent avertit que la recherche du

signal Bluetooth® du smartphone est en cours. Dès que

ce dernier se connecte, l’utilisateur est averti par un «bip»

que la connexion a été effectuée.

Vériﬁer que l’état détecté par l’application RECARO Kids

est « connecté - enfant assis ». À partir de ce moment, le

dispositif est activé et la présence de l’enfant peut être

surveillée via L’App RECARO Kids.

AVERTISSEMENT! Si la connexion n’a pas lieu dans les 20

secondes, l’utilisateur est averti par un bref signal sonore

(pas de connexion). Si le dispositif reste fermé, RECARO

Easy-Tech poursuit automatiquement la recherche du signal

Bluetooth® du smartphone pendant 3 minutes. Après quoi,

si la connexion n’a pas encore eu lieu, un bref signal sonore

est émis. Cependant, même en l’absence d’un autre signal

sonore, le dispositif continue de rechercher une connexion

Bluetooth® jusqu’à la nouvelle ouverture. Le système d’a-

lerte s’active lorsque le smartphone connecté au dispositif

s’éloigne de la voiture dans laquelle se trouve l’accessoire

fermé. RECARO Easy-Tech prévoit trois niveaux d’alerte:

• Alarme 0: si le smartphone s’éloigne de la voiture sur laquelle

le dispositif actif est installé, pendant plus de 3 minutes, l’enfant

est laissé à bord et que le smartphone ne s’éloigne de la voiture

que quelques instants, le système enverra une simple notiﬁca-

tion d’éloignement. Si l’éloignement dépasse une durée de 3

minutes, l’alarme de premier niveau se déclenche.

• Alerte de premier niveau : Si le smartphone s’éloigne de la

voiture sur laquelle le dispositif actif est installé, pendant plus

de 3 minutes, une alerte acoustique et visuelle apparaîtra sur le

smartphone. Il sera possible de la désactiver dans un délai de

40 secondes. Le rapprochement du smartphone du dispositif

ne désactive pas l’alerte, il est indispensable d’interagir avec

l’application en appuyant sur le bouton « STOP ».

• Alerte de second niveau : elle s’active au moment où l’alerte

de premier niveau n’est pas désactivée dans le délai imparti par

l’alerte de premier niveau, en envoyant des messages d’alerte à

tous les numéros d’urgence prédéﬁnis avec les indications uti-

les pour géolocaliser la zone dans laquelle se trouve l’enfant.

À la ﬁn du voyage, détacher le harnais de sécurité en veil-

lant à toujours ouvrir le dispositif (Fig. 3) aﬁn de désactiver

le système et d’empêcher le déclenchement des alertes.

L’application RECARO Kids est fournie avec un pack de «

messages d’alerte » qui sera décrémenté à chaque aler-

te de second niveau d’une quantité égale au nombre de

contacts d’urgence entrés. Il est possible d’acheter des

messages d’alerte via L’App RECARO Kids. Si le nombre de

messages d’alerte restants est insufﬁsant, il est nécessaire

d’acheter l’un des packs disponibles dans la section « Acha-

ts » de l’application. Si le nombre de messages d’alerte est

insufﬁsant, le système est désactivé et ne fonctionne pas.

En l’absence de connexion internet (réseau de données

mobile ou WiFi), RECARO Easy-Tech active correctement

l’alerte 0 et l’alerte de premier niveau mais pourrait ne pas

être en mesure d’envoyer les messages d’alerte aux nu-

méros d’urgence (alerte de second niveau).

• RECARO Easy-Tech n’interfère pas avec le fonctionne-

ment normal du système Bluetooth® éventuellement prés-

ent dans le véhicule.

1.3 UTILISATION DE L’APPLICATION RECARO KIDS SUR

PLUSIEURS DISPOSITIFS / SMARTPHONES

Après avoir effectué l’enregistrement du compte famille et

avoir associé le dispositif RECARO Easy-Tech au smartphone

à l’aide du scan du QR code, il est possible d’utiliser RECARO

Easy-Tech avec d’autres smartphones sur lesquels l’applica-

tion RECARO Kids est installée. Il est possible d’utiliser le

même compte famille sur un nombre illimité de smartpho-

nes ayant préalablement installé L’App RECARO Kids. Les pa-

ramètres prédéﬁnis à l’aide du premier smartphone (numéros

d’urgence, association dispositif et données enfant) seront

automatiquement disponibles également sur les autres smar-

tphones disposant de l’application RECARO Kids et utilisant

le même compte famille.

IMPORTANT: si le mot de passe famille est modiﬁé, le nou-

veau mot de passe doit être partagé avec tous les utilisateurs

utilisant le même compte famille.

IMPORTANT: si deux smartphones préalablement associés

au dispositif dotés de l’application RECARO Kids active sont

présents dans la même voiture, le dispositif se connectera

avec un SEUL des deux smartphones en fonction de la réactiv-

ité du système Bluetooth® de chaque smartphone et cette

condition ne pourra être modiﬁée qu’après la désactivation

via l’ouverture du dispositif ou après la perte du signal Blue-

tooth®.

Si le propriétaire du smartphone connecté à cet instant au

dispositif RECARO Easy-Tech activé s’éloigne de la voiture:

• L’alarme 0 ou éventuellement l’alarme de premier niveau

s’active sur son smartphone. Il est possible de la désactiver

via l’application en appuyant sur le bouton « STOP » ;

• après quelques secondes, le second smartphone resté dans

la voiture se connectera automatiquement au dispositif RE-

CARO Easy-Tech.

AVERTISSEMENT: en cas d’utilisation simultanée de deux

ou plusieurs smartphones sur lesquels est installée L’App RE-

CARO Kids, il est nécessaire d’identiﬁer celui qui est effecti-

vement connecté au dispositif et qui ne doit donc jamais être

abandonné.

1.4 GESTION MULTIPLE DE DISPOSITIFS APPARTENANT

À LA FAMILLE RECARO EASY-TECH VIA UN SEUL COMP-

TE FAMILLE

Il est possible d’associer un maximum de 4 dispositifs RE-

CARO Easy-Tech au même compte famille, en répétant les

opérations décrites ci-dessus. L’application RECARO Kids sur-

veillera l’état de chaque dispositif simultanément.

Easy-Tech. En cas de niveau faible, l’utilisateur peut rem-

placer lui-même la pile par une autre ayant les mêmes

caractéristiques, en respectant la polarité.

L’utilisateur peut effectuer lui-même le remplacement la

pile en ouvrant le dispositif (Fig. 3) et en séparant com-

plètement la coque blanche du composant noir. Dévisser

la vis (Fig. 4), accéder au compartiment de la pile (Fig. 5),

remplacer la pile en respectant la polarité (Fig. 6), revisser

(Fig. 7)et réinsérer le composant noir à l’intérieur de la

coque blanche (Fig. 8).

1.8 ÉLIMINATION DU PRODUIT

Pour l’élimination, suivre les instructions reportées ci-des-

sous (paragraphes 1.7.1 – 1.7.2.).

1.8.1 CE PRODUIT EST CONFORME

À LA DIRECTIVE 2012/19/UE.

Le symbole de la poubelle barrée sur l’appareil indique

que ce produit, à la ﬁn de sa vie utile, devra être traité

séparément des autres déchets domestiques; il faudra

donc l’apporter dans un centre de collecte sélective pour

les équipements électriques et électroniques, ou bien le

remettre au revendeur lors de l’achat d’un nouvel équip-

ement équivalent ou encore le remettre gratuitement

aux distributeurs disposant d’une surface de vente d’éq-

uipements électriques et électroniques d’au moins 400

m², sans obligation d’achat. L’utilisateur est responsable

du retour de l’appareil, à la ﬁn de sa vie, aux structures

de collecte appropriées. Le tri sélectif adapté visant à

envoyer l’appareil que l’on n’utilise plus au recyclage, au

traitement et à la mise au rebut compatible avec l’environ-

nement contribue à éviter de possibles effets négatifs sur

l’environnement et sur la santé et favorise le recyclage

des matériaux dont est composé le produit. Pour obtenir

des renseignements plus détaillés sur les systèmes de

collecte disponibles, s’adresser au service local d’élim-

ination des déchets, ou bien au magasin où l’appareil a

été acheté.

1.8.2 CONFORMITÉ À LA DIRECTIVE EU

2006/66/CE telle que modiﬁée.

Le symbole de la poubelle barrée appliqué sur les piles

ou sur l’emballage du produit, indique que ces dernières,

en ﬁn de vie, devront être traitées séparément par rap-

port aux déchets domestiques, qu’elles ne doivent pas

être éliminées comme des déchets urbains mais que,

par conséquent, elles doivent être remises à un centre

de tri sélectif ou bien remises au revendeur au moment

de l’achat de nouvelles piles rechargeables et non re-

chargeables, équivalentes. L’éventuel symbole chimi-

que Hg, Cd, Pb situé sous la poubelle barrée indique le

type de substance contenue dans la pile, Hg=Mercure,

Cd=Cadmium, Pb=Plomb. L’utilisateur est responsable

du retour des batteries, à la ﬁn de leur vie, aux structures

de collecte appropriées aﬁn de faciliter leur traitement et

leur recyclage. Une collecte sélective adéquate, visant

à envoyer les batteries épuisées au recyclage, au traite-

Le système RECARO Easy-Tech est conçu pour apporter,

même en des circonstances imprévisibles, le soutien adéquat

à ceux qui s’occupent d’enfants au quotidien. En effet, il est

en mesure de comprendre et d’analyser la condition spécif-

ique de danger potentiel, en activant des systèmes d’alarme

intelligents conçus pour assurer un niveau de sécurité accru.

ALARME SMARTPHONE DÉCHARGÉ

Si le smartphone du conducteur est sur le point de se

télécharger, l’application lui envoie une notiﬁcation lui rappe-

lant qu’il doit le recharger.

En outre, il est possible d’activer un service en option d’envoi

de messages d’alarme via Cloud RECARO aux contacts préd-

éﬁnis aﬁn de les avertir que le smartphone du conducteur est

déchargé et ne peut donc pas envoyer de messages d’alarme

en cas d’urgence.

Ce service peut être activé en accédant à la section « Pa-

ramètres/Notiﬁcations » de l’application RECARO Kids.

ALARME VOITURE ARRÊTÉE AVEC ENFANT ET SMAR-

TPHONE À BORD

Si la voiture du conducteur est arrêtée depuis un certain

temps avec l’enfant et le smartphone à bord, l’application est

en mesure de signaler cette anomalie au serveur et de réagir

avec une alarme spéciﬁque.

En effet, il est possible d’activer un service en option d’envoi

de messages d’alarme via Cloud RECARO aux contacts préd-

éﬁnis pour les avertir que le conducteur pourrait avoir oublié

son smartphone dans la voiture dans la mesure où celle-ci

est immobile depuis un certain temps avec le bébé à bord.

Ce service peut être activé en accédant à la section « Pa-

ramètres/Notiﬁcations » de l’application RECARO Kids.

ALARME ABSENCE DE CONNEXION

Au cas où le smartphone du conducteur ne pourrait communi-

quer avec le Cloud RECARO pendant une période prolongée,

l’application lui envoie une notiﬁcation l’informant que son

smartphone est dépourvu de connexion.

En outre, il est possible d’activer un service en option d’envoi

de messages d’alarme via Cloud RECARO aux contacts préd-

éﬁnis aﬁn de les avertir que le smartphone du conducteur ne

communique pas convenablement l’état et ne peut donc pas

envoyer de messages d’alarme en cas d’urgence.

Ce service peut être activé en accédant à la section « Pa-

ramètres/Notiﬁcations » de l’application RECARO Kids.

1.6 NOTIFICATION PÉRIODIQUE ENFANT À BORD

PENDANT UNE PÉRIODE PROLONGÉE

Si l’enfant reste assis dans le siège-auto avec RECARO

Easy-Tech activé pendant plus de 30 minutes, une notiﬁcation

push accompagnée d’un bref signal acoustique apparaît sur le

smartphone. Seul le signal acoustique peut être désactivé par

l’utilisateur depuis l’écran «Réglages/notiﬁcations».

1.7 PILES

RECARO Easy-Tech fonctionne avec une pile CR2032.

Grâce à l’application, il est possible de surveiller le niveau

de la pile présente à l’intérieur du dispositif RECARO

ment et à l’élimination compatible avec l’environnement,

contribue à éviter les effets négatifs possibles sur l’en-

vironnement et sur la santé, et favorise le recyclage des

substances dont les batteries sont composées. L’élimin-

ation abusive du produit de la part de l’utilisateur cause

des dommages à l’environnement et à la santé humaine.

Pour obtenir des renseignements plus détaillés sur les

systèmes de collecte disponibles, s’adresser au service

local d’élimination des déchets, ou bien au magasin où

l’appareil a été acheté.

apparaat tikken om het te verbinden. Om de automa-

tische verbinding tussen het RECARO Easy-Tech-appa-

raat en de app RECARO Kids te behouden, is het raa-

dzaam om niet uit te loggen, tenzij strikt noodzakelijk.

• Forceer de app niet om te sluiten om een correcte

werking van het systeem in alle omstandigheden te

garanderen: scrol niet omhoog in de app.

• Om de juiste werking van RECARO Easy-Tech na te

gaan, is het belangrijk om regelmatig de openings-/

sluittests van het accessoire uit te voeren, waarbij de

relatieve status van de app wordt gecontroleerd (Ho-

ofdstuk 1.1, paragraaf e).

Het niet naleven van het bovenstaande leidt tot een

storing van RECARO Easy-Tech en/of van de app RE-

CARO Kids met als gevolg de uitschakeling van het

systeem en/of het niet versturen en/of ontvangen van

alarmberichten.

WAARSCHUWING

Uit te voeren controle telkens als u RECARO Easy-Tech

gebruikt:

• Zorg ervoor dat de smartphone aanstaat en voldo-

ende is opgeladen tijdens het gebruik van RECARO

Easy-Tech.

• De Bluetooth® moet actief zijn.

• De “vliegtuig”modus moet uitgeschakeld zijn.

• De GPS moet altijd geactiveerd zijn.

Controleer in de app RECARO Kids of er nog voldoe-

nde alarmberichten zijn. Koop anders het benodigde

pakket aan.

• Als er twee of meer smartphones tegelijk worden

gebruikt waarop de app RECARO Kids geïnstalleerd is,

moet de smartphone die daadwerkelijk met het appa-

raat is verbonden, worden geïdentiﬁceerd.

• Vóór elke rit moet worden gecontroleerd dat het ap-

paraat volledig gesloten is en dat de door de app RE-

CARO Kids “verbonden – kindje zit” is.

Het niet naleven van het bovenstaande leidt tot een

storing van RECARO Easy-Tech en/of van de app RE-

CARO Kids met als gevolg de uitschakeling van het

systeem en/of het niet versturen en/of ontvangen van

alarmberichten.

1.1 RECARO EASY-TECH INSCHAKELEN

a) De app RECARO Kids downloaden

U dient de app RECARO Kids te downloaden. Bij de eerste

inschakeling geeft de app u alle te volgen aanwijzingen

voor de registratie van de account en voor het gebruik van

RECARO Easy-Tech.

b) Familie-account aanmaken

U dient een “familie-account” aan te maken met een enkel

wachtwoord. Deze account is de enige account die kan

worden gebruikt door wie dit speciﬁek apparaat gebruikt.

Het wachtwoord wordt gedeeld met alle gebruikers die met

het apparaat zullen communiceren.

BELANGRIJK: voor het aanmaken van de familie-account

moet u over een internetverbinding beschikken (mobiel of

WiFi-gegevensnetwerk).

BELANGRIJK: als het familie-wachtwoord wordt gewijzigd,

moet het nieuwe wachtwoord gedeeld worden met alle

gebruikers die dezelfde familie-account gebruiken.

c) Noodnummers invoeren

Tijdens de eerste inschakeling moeten de noodnummers

ingevoerd worden waarnaar de alarmberichten (tweede ni-

veau) worden verzonden met de gegevens die dienen voor

de geolocatie van de zone waar het kind zich bevindt. Het

aantal in te voeren noodnummers zijn minimaal 3 tot ma-

ximaal 5. De noodnummers moeten geselecteerd worden

uit het adresboekje van de smartphone en kunnen later

toegevoegd, gewist en/of vervangen worden.

BELANGRIJK: Tijdens deze handeling moet u over een

internetverbinding beschikken (mobiel of WiFi-gegevens-

netwerk).

BELANGRIJK: De noodnummers moeten mobiele telefo-

onnummers zijn, geen nummers van een vast telefoonnet

en geen nationale noodnummers.

BELANGRIJK: Controleer na het invoeren altijd of de noo-

dnummers juist zijn en goed werken.

d) Het apparaat koppelen aan de familie-account

Om het RECARO Easy-Tech-apparaat aan de familie-ac-

count te koppelen, moet u de in de app RECARO Kids

getoonde aanwijzingen aandachtig volgend, waarbij u op

het volgende let:

1) Scan de QR-code die zich in de verpakking bevindt

2) Sluit het apparaat (totdat het groene vinkje volledig

zichtbaar is door het speciale venster in het witte omhul-

sel) (Afb. 1) om de eerste koppeling uit te voeren. Zorg

ervoor dat u zich dicht bij de smartphone bevindt om de

Bluetooth®-verbinding te garanderen. Het systeem wordt

geactiveerd / maakt verbinding na een paar seconden na

het sluiten van het apparaat. Er kunnen maximaal 4 RECA-

RO Easy-Tech-apparaten gekoppeld worden aan eenzelfde

familie-account. Elk speciﬁek apparaat kan slechts aan een

ENKELE familie-account worden gekoppeld.

BELANGRIJK: Tijdens het scannen van de QR-code moet

u over een internetverbinding beschikken (mobiel of Wi-

Fi-gegevensnetwerk).

e) Controleer de correcte werking van het apparaat

Bij het eerste gebruik, om de juiste werking van RECA-

RO Easy-Tech na te gaan, is het belangrijk om regelmatig

de openings-/sluittests van het accessoire uit te voeren,

waarbij de relatieve status van de app als volgt wordt ge-

controleerd:

- Sluit het accessoire: door de app RECARO Kids gedetecte-

erde status “verbonden – kindje zit”

- Open vervolgens het accessoire: de statussen die mo-

gelijk door de app worden gedetecteerd zijn “verbonden”

of “niet verbonden” naargelang de tijdsspanne tussen het

openen van het accessoire en de weergave in de app.

f) Gegevens van kind invoeren

Na de koppeling van het apparaat aan de familie-account

dient u de naam en de geboortedatum van het kind in te

voeren. U kunt ook zijn foto invoeren.

1.2 WERKING VAN RECARO EASY-TECH

Plaats het kind in de stoel en zet het vast met de beve-

stigingssystemen van het type stoel dat gebruikt wordt.

Gebruik de speciale clip (A) die op het witte omhulsel van

het apparaat geplaatst is om het accessoire bij voorkeur

aan de schouderband van de stoel te bevestigen (Afb. 2).

Sluit nu het apparaat volledig zoals aangegeven in Hoofd-

stuk 1.1, Paragraaf d), Punt 2.

Wanneer het gesloten is, met het groene vinkje volledig

zichtbaar door het speciale venster in het witte omhulsel,

wordt de gebruiker op de hoogte gebracht van de activering

via een speciaal alarm.

Er volgt een onderbroken geluid dat waarschuwt dat het

Bluetooth®-signaal van de smartphone gezocht wordt. Zo-

dra deze verbinding maakt, wordt de gebruiker door een

pieptoon gewaarschuwd dat de verbinding is geslaagd.

Controleer of de status gedetecteerd door de app RECARO

Kids “verbonden – kindje zit” is.

Vanaf dit moment is het apparaat actief en kan de aanwe-

zigheid van het kind via de app RECARO Kids worden ge-

controleerd.

WAARSCHUWING! Als de verbinding niet binnen 20 se-

conden tot stand komt, wordt de gebruiker gewaarschuwd

door een korte pieptoon (geen verbinding). Als het apparaat

gesloten blijft, gaat RECARO Easy-Tech autonoom gedu-

rende 3 minuten verder met het zoeken naar het Blueto-

oth®-signaal van de smartphone, waarna, als de verbinding

nog niet tot stand gebracht is, een kort akoestisch signaal

wordt uitgezonden. In ieder geval blijft het apparaat ook

zonder verder akoestisch signaal actief op zoek naar een

Bluetooth®-verbinding tot het weer wordt geopend. Het

alarmsysteem wordt geactiveerd wanneer de smartphone

die met het apparaat verbonden is, zich van de auto waarop

het accessoire aanwezig is, verwijdert.

RECARO Easy-Tech heeft drie alarmniveaus:

• Alarm 0: als het kind in de auto achterblijft en de smar-

tphone slechts enkele ogenblikken van de auto wordt

verwijderd, verstuurt het systeem een eenvoudige melding

van verwijdering. Als de verwijdering echter langer dan 3

minuten duurt, wordt het alarm van het eerste niveau ge-

activeerd.

• Alarm van het eerste niveau: in het geval dat de smar-

tphone zich gedurende meer dan 3 minuten verwijdert van

de auto, waarin het actieve apparaat geïnstalleerd is, gaat

op de smartphone een hoorbaar en zichtbaar alarm af dat

binnen 40 seconden kan worden stilgelegd. De smartphone

dichter bij het apparaat brengen stopt het alarm niet, maar

u moet de app bedienen en op de knop “STOP” drukken.

• Alarm van het tweede niveau: dit wordt ingeschakeld

op het ogenblik dat het alarm van eerste niveau niet wor-

dt uitgezet in het tijdsbestek voorzien door het alarm van

eerste niveau. Er wordt een alarmbericht gestuurd naar alle

vooraf ingevoerde noodnummers, met alle nodige aanwi-

jzingen voor de geolocatie van de zone waar het kind zich

bevindt. Maak aan het einde van de rit de veiligheidsgordels

los en vergeet niet het apparaat altijd te openen (Afb. 3)

om het systeem uit te schakelen en te voorkomen dat de

alarmen geactiveerd worden. De app RECARO Kids biedt

een pakket “alarmberichten” dat bij elk tweede alarmniveau

wordt verlaagd met een hoeveelheid gelijk aan het aantal in-

gevoegde noodcontacten. De alarmberichten kunnen wor-

den aangekocht via de app RECARO Kids. In het geval van

onvoldoende resterende alarmberichten, moet men een

van de pakketten aankopen die beschikbaar zijn in het be-

treffende gedeelte «Aankopen» van de app. Als het aantal

alarmmeldingen onvoldoende is, is het systeem uitgescha-

keld en functioneert het niet. Als er geen internetverbinding

is (mobiel datanetwerk of wiﬁ), activeert RECARO Easy-Te-

ch het alarm 0 en het alarm van het eerste niveau zonder

problemen, maar kan mogelijk geen alarmberichten naar

de alarmnummers te sturen (alarm van het tweede niveau).

• RECARO Easy-Tech hindert de normale werking van het

Bluetooth®-systeem niet dat zich eventueel in het voertuig

bevindt.

1.3 GEBRUIK VAN DE APP RECARO KIDS

OP MEERDERE APPARATEN / SMARTPHONE

Na de registratie van de familie-account en de koppeling

van het RECARO Easy-Tech-apparaat met de smartphone

via de scan van de QR-code, kunt u RECARO Easy-Tech

ook gebruiken met andere smartphones waarop de app

RECARO Kids is geïnstalleerd. U kunt dezelfde familie-ac-

count gebruiken met een onbegrensd aantal smartphones

waarop de app App RECARO Kids eerder is geïnstalleerd.

De instellingen die eerder vastgelegd zijn met de eerste

smartphone (noodnummers, koppeling van apparaat en

gegevens van het kind) zijn automatisch beschikbaar op

de andere smartphones met de app RECARO Kids die de-

zelfde familie-account gebruiken.

BELANGRIJK: als het familie-wachtwoord wordt gewijzigd,

moet het nieuwe wachtwoord gedeeld worden met alle

gebruikers die dezelfde familie-account gebruiken.

BELANGRIJK: als er twee smartphones in dezelfde auto

zijn die eerder met het apparaat werden verbonden en waa-

rop de app RECARO Kids geactiveerd is, wordt het apparaat

met SLECHTS een van de twee verbonden op basis van

de reactiviteit van het Bluetooth®-systeem van de smar-

tphone. Deze staat kan niet gewijzigd worden totdat het

apparaat uitgeschakeld wordt door het te openen of totdat

u het Bluetooth-signaal verliest.

Als de eigenaar van de smartphone die op dat moment met

het geactiveerde RECARO Easy-Tech-apparaat verbonden

is, zich van de auto verwijdert:

• wordt het alarm 0 geactiveerd op de smartphone; het

alarm kan uitgezet worden door op de knop “STOP” te

drukken in de app.

• na enkele seconden wordt de tweede smartphone, die

zich nog in de auto bevindt, automatisch verbonden met

het RECARO Easy-Tech-apparaat.

WAARSCHUWING: in het geval dat er twee of meer smar-

tphones tegelijkertijd worden gebruikt waarop de app RE-

CARO Kids is geïnstalleerd, dient u de smartphone die ef-

fectief met het apparaat is verbonden te identiﬁceren en

nooit achter te laten.

1.4 BEHEER VAN MEERDERE APPARATEN VAN DE RE-

CARO EASY-TECH-FAMILIE MET EEN ENKELE FAMI-

LIE-ACCOUNT

Er kunnen maximaal 4 RECARO Easy-Tech-apparaten wor-

den gekoppeld aan dezelfde familie-account, herhaal hier-

voor de eerder beschreven handelingen. De app RECARO

Kids zal de status van elk apparaat tegelijkertijd tonen.

1.5 INTELLIGENTE ALARMEN

Het systeem RECARO Easy-Tech is ontworpen om de juiste

ondersteuning te bieden bij de dagelijkse zorg voor kinde-

ren, ook in onvoorspelbare situaties. Het systeem begrijpt

en analyseert potentiële gevaren en activeert intelligente

alarmsystemen die zijn ontworpen om een hoger veiligheid-

sniveau te garanderen.

ALARM LEGE SMARTPHONEBATTERIJ

Als de smartphone van de bestuurder bijna leeg is, stuurt

de app een herinnering dat de telefoon moet worden op-

geladen.

Bovendien kan een optionele service worden geactiveerd

die alarmmeldingen via Cloud RECARO verstuurt naar

vooraf ingestelde contacten, om deze contacten te waar-

schuwen dat de smartphone van de bestuurder leeg is,

zodat er in geval van nood geen alarmmeldingen kunnen

worden verstuurd.

Deze service kan worden geactiveerd in het gedeelte “In-

stellingen/Meldingen” van de RECARO Kids-app.

ALARM STILSTAANDE WAGEN MET KIND EN SMAR-

TPHONE AAN BOORD

Als de auto van de bestuurder enige tijd stil staat met kind

en smartphone in het voertuig, kan de app deze situatie

melden aan de server en reageren met een speciaal alarm.

Het is ook mogelijk om een optionele service te activeren

voor het verzenden van alarmmeldingen via Cloud RECARO

naar vooraf ingestelde contacten, om deze contacten te

waarschuwen dat de bestuurder mogelijk zijn smartphone

in de auto is vergeten omdat de auto al een tijdje stil staat

met het kind aan boord.

Deze service kan worden geactiveerd in het gedeelte “In-

stellingen/Meldingen” van de RECARO Kids-app.

ALARM GEEN VERBINDING

Als de smartphone van de bestuurder te lang niet commu-

niceert met de Chicco RECARO, stuurt de app de bestuur-

der een waarschuwing dat de smartphone geen verbinding

heeft.

Bovendien kan een optionele service worden geactiveerd

die alarmmeldingen via Cloud RECARO verstuurt naar

vooraf ingestelde contacten, om deze contacten te waar-

schuwen dat de smartphone van de bestuurder de status

niet goed communiceert, zodat er in geval van nood geen

alarmmeldingen kunnen worden verstuurd.

Deze service kan worden geactiveerd in het gedeelte “In-

stellingen/Meldingen” van de RECARO Kids-app.

1.6 REGELMATIGE MELDING VAN KIND IN AUTO GE-

DURENDE GEDURENDE EEN LANGE TIJDSPERIODE

Wanneer het kind langer dan 30 minuten in het stoeltje

blijft zitten wanneer RECARO Easy-Tech geactiveerd is,

verschijnt op de smartphone een push e-mail, vergezeld

van een kort geluidssignaal. Alleen het geluidssignaal kan

door de gebruiker uitgeschakeld worden op het scherm

“instelling/meldingen”.

1.7 BATTERIJ

RECARO Easy-Tech werkt met 1 CR2032-batterij.

Met de app kunt u het niveau van de batterij in het

RECARO Easy-Tech-apparaat in het oog houden. Als

het niveau laag is, kan de gebruiker ze zelf vervangen

door een batterij met dezelfde kenmerken, met de

polen naar de juiste kant.

Om de batterij te vervangen, kan de gebruiker zel-

fstandig verder gaan door het apparaat te openen

(Afb. 3) en het witte omhulsel volledig te scheiden

van het zwarte onderdeel. Draai de schroef los (Afb.

4), ga naar het batterijvak (Afb. 5), vervang de batterij

met inachtneming van de polariteit (Afb. 6), draai de

schroef weer vast (Afb. 7) en plaats het zwarte on-

derdeel terug in het witte omhulsel (Afb. 8).

1.8 HET ARTIKEL AFDANKEN

Voor het afdanken volgt u de onderstaande aanwijzin-

gen (paragrafen 1.7.1 – 1.7.2.).

1.8.1 DIT PRODUCT IS CONFORM

DE RICHTLIJN 2012/19/EU

Het symbool met de doorstreepte vuilnisbak op het

apparaat geeft aan dat het product op het einde van

zijn levenscyclus afzonderlijk van het gewoon hui-

shoudelijk afval moet worden afgedankt en hiervoor

naar een centrum voor gescheiden afvalinzameling

voor de recyclage van elektrische en elektronische

apparatuur moet worden gebracht. Als alternatief

kan het ook worden terugbezorgd aan de verkoper

op het moment dat een nieuw gelijkaardig apparaat

wordt aangekocht of het kan gratis en zonder enige

verplichting tot aankoop worden afgeleverd bij distri-

buteurs met een verkoopruimte van elektrische en

elektronische apparatuur van ten minste 400 m2. De

gebruiker is er verantwoordelijk voor het apparaat op

het einde van de levenscyclus naar een structuur voor

afvalophaling te brengen. Een correcte gescheiden

afvalinzameling waardoor het apparaat op milieuvrien-

delijke wijze kan worden hergebruikt en verwerkt,

draagt bij tot het voorkomen van mogelijke negatieve

invloeden op het milieu en de gezondheid en bevor-

dert het hergebruik van de materialen waaruit het

product is samengesteld. Voor meer gedetailleerde

informatie over de recyclage van dit product en de

beschikbare ophaalsystemen, wendt u zich tot de

lokale dienst voor afvalophaling of de winkel waar u

het product hebt gekocht.

1.8.2 OVEREENSTEMMING MET DE

RICHTLIJN EU 2006/66/CE

en daaropvolgende wijzigingen

Het symbool van de doorgestreepte vuilnisbak op de

batterijen of de verpakking van het product geeft aan

dat de batterijen aan het einde van hun levensduur

gescheiden van het huisvuil ingezameld moeten wor-

den en afzonderlijk van het normale huisvuil verwerkt
