This device is a switching type power supply and can work with supply voltages in the range 100 - 240
VAC For worldwide usability four different AC adapters are enclosed: Euro type, UK type, US/Japan type
and Australia/New Zealand type. Use the appropriate AC adapter as shown in the picture and ensure it
is firmly secured in place and does not detach by pulling before installing into a power socket.
To reduce risk of fire, electric shocks or damage:
▪ Do not open the product nor its power supply. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
▪ Only qualified servicing personnel may carry out any repairs or maintenance.
▪ Never use damaged cables.
▪ Do not expose the product to water or places of moisture.
▪ Do not use this product outdoors it is intended for indoor use only.
▪ Do not place the product near direct heat sources. Always place it in a well-ventilated place.

Instructions for Use of Power Supply
Attach the required adapter to the plug. Push the adapter firmly, twist until the latch secures the adapter.
To remove, push the button and twist in the opposite direction.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro. This product has been
designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a Lindy 2 year warranty and free
lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
The USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro allows access to USB 3.0 SuperSpeed peripherals over long
distances. With support for data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps it is perfect for transferring large data
volumes quickly and reliably. It consists of four different units (each sold separately):
• USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro 8m (No. 43158)
• USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro 10m (No. 43157)
• USB 3.0 Active Extension Hub Pro 10m (No. 43159)
• USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro 15m (No. 43229)
Each unit can be used standalone or as part of the Lindy Active Extension System Pro to create
extension systems of over 40m (depending on the cable configurations used).

Instructions
This system is a modular solution that can combine multiple USB Active Extension Pro cables and a
USB 3.0 Active Extension Pro hub to distribute USB signals to up to 4 devices at up to 50m (depending
on the cable configurations used).
The 8m and 10m cable and the 10m hub feature a single active repeater module to boost the USB
signal. The 15m cable uses two repeaters. A fully deployed extension system is limited to a maximum of
50m and 5 repeater modules. Any combination of cables and a single hub can be connected providing
the 50m / 5 repeater limit is not exceeded. The extension hub must always be the last segment of the
extension system.

Anwendungshinweise für das Netzteil
Stecken Sie den entsprechenden Länderadapter in das Netzteil. Drücken Sie den Adapter fest gegen das
Gehäuse und drehen Sie ihn bis er einrastet. Wenn Sie den Adapter wieder vom Netzteil abnehmen
wollen, drücken Sie auf den Knopf und drehen den Adapter in die entgegengesetzte Richtung.

Das USB 3.0 Active Extension System Pro ermöglicht den Zugriff auf USB 3.0 Geräte in großen
Distanzen. Es unterstützt Datentransferraten bis 5Gbit/s und eignet sich perfekt zur schnellen und
zuverlässigen Übertragung großer Datenmengen.
Es besteht aus 4 verschiedenen Segmenten (jedes kann einzeln bezogen werden):
• USB 3.0 Aktivverlängerung Pro 8m (No. 43158)
• USB 3.0 Aktivverlängerung Pro 10m (No. 43157)

Jede Aktivverlängerung bzw. der Hub kann allein oder als Teil des Lindy Active Extension Systems Pro
für Distanzen bis über 40m (je nach Zusammenstellung des Systems) verwendet werden.

Hinweise zur Benutzung
Bei dem System handelt es sich um eine modulare Lösung, die mehrere USB 3.0 Aktivverlängerungs-
kabel Pro und einen USB 3.0 Aktivverlängerungshub Pro kombinieren kann, um USB-Signale auf bis zu
4 USB-Geräte in bis zu 50m Entfernung (je nach Zusammenstellung des Systems) zu verteilen.
Die 8m und 10m Aktivverlängerungen sowie der 10m Aktivverlängerungs-Hub verfügen über ein aktives
Repeater-Modul, das das USB-Signal verstärkt. Die 15m Aktivverlängerung verwendet zwei dieser
Repeater. Ein komplettes System ist auf eine maximale Länge von 50m und 5 Repeater-Module
beschränkt. Jede Kombination aus Kabeln und einem Hub ist in diesem Rahmen (max. 50m / 5
Repeater) möglich. Der Aktivverlängerungs-Hub muss immer als letztes Segment im System
angeschlossen werden.

▪ Veuillez-vous assurer que l'adaptateur utilisé est fermement fixé et verrouillé en place avant de
l'insérer dans une prise murale.
Instructions d’utilisation de l’alimentation
Fixez l'adaptateur requis à la prise. Poussez fermement l'adaptateur, tournez jusqu'à ce que le loquet
fixe l'adaptateur. Pour retirer l'adaptateur, appuyez sur le bouton et tournez dans le sens opposé.

d'extension est parfait pour transférer de gros volumes de données rapidement et de manière fiable.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead,
these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state, as well as the UK, has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in
slightly different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic
products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Germany / Deutschland Rücknahme Elektroschrott und Batterie-Entsorgung
Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von Elektro-
