of the art in home air conditioning technology.

This manual has been compiled with the aim of providing you with

all the explanations necessary to manage perfectly your conditioning

system.

Therefore, please read the manual carefully before using the

equipment.

By following the suggestions contained in this manual, the conditioner

that you have purchased will operate without problems giving you

optimum room temperatures with minimum energy costs.

The manual is divided into 4 sections or chapters:

Aimed at the specialised installer and the end user.

It contains information, technical data and important warnings to

heed before installing and using the conditioner.

Aimed exclusively at a specialised installer.

It contains all the information necessary for the positioning and

mounting of the conditioner in the place where it will be installed.

The installation of the conditioner by non-specialised personnel will

invalidate the warranty conditions.

Contains useful information for understanding the use and

programming of the conditioner and the most common maintenance

interventions.

CHAP.4 TROUBLESHOOTING

Suggestions to help the user in case of an operating anomaly that

could occur over time.

Installing the indoor unit drainage pipe

- A polyethylene tube can be used as the drainage pipe (outer-

diameter 37-39mm, inner diameter 32 mm). This can be sourced

locally or from your dealer.

- Place the mouth of the drainage pipe on the base of the main body

Check that the water is discharged correctly (a delay of 1min is

foreseen, according to the length of the drainage pipe), and check

whether any water leaks from the joints.

3 Stop the conditioner, disconnect the power supply, and reposition

the test cover in its original position.

NOTE: The drainage plug is used to empty the water-receiver

for maintenance interventions on the conditioner. Always keep

it inserted during operation to avoid leakage.

Installation Place

The outdoor unit should be installed in a location that meets the

following requirements:

- The air outlet and the air inlet are not impeded, and cannot be

reached by strong wind.

- It must be a dry and well ventilated place.

Check whether the height drop between the indoor unit and outdoor

unit, the length of the coolant pipe, and the number of the bends

ATTENTION

- All pipe connections on site must be made by a licensed

refrigeration technician and must comply with the relevant

local and national standards.

- Do not let air, dust, or other impurities get into the pipeline

during the installation.

- The connecting pipe must not be installed until the indoor

- Keep the connecting pipe dry, and do not let moisture enter

during the installation.

- Complete the heat insulation work on both sides of the gas

piping and the liquid piping. Otherwise, water leakages could

occur.

1 Drill a hole in the wall (big enough for the duct that must pass

through the wall), then insert the duct and its cover.

2 Bind the connecting pipes and the cables together tightly with

binding tapes.

Pass the connecting pipe through the wall duct from outside. Take

care that the pipe position to does not damage the piping.

3 Connect the pipes.

4 Expel the air with a vacuum pump. For further information refer to

“How to expel the air with a vacuum pump”.

5 Open the stop valves of the outdoor unit so that the coolant pipe

6 Check for leakages. Check all the joints with a leak detector or

soapy water.

7 Cover the joints of the connecting pipe with the soundproof /

Check that the insulating materials cover all the exposed parts

of the gas pipe joints and the coolant pipe on the liquid-side

and the gas-side. Ensure that there are no gaps between them.

Incomplete insulation may cause the formation of condensation.

IMPORTANTE: Non eseguire i collegamenti utilizzando normali

residui di trucioli, sporcizia o acqua, e che possono danneggiare i

Non deformare o schiacciare i tubi.

Piegare i tubi con l’angolo più ampio possibile. Controllare la zona

per individuare eventuali perdite di gas.

Usare esclusivamente tubazioni in rame specifici per

refrigerazione che vengono forniti puliti e sigillati alle estremità.

Dopo aver eseguito i tagli sigillare immediatamente le estremità

del rotolo e dello spezzone tagliato.

- Individuare il percorso delle tubazioni in modo da ridurre il più

possibile la lunghezza e le curve dei tubi per ottenere il massimo

rendimento dell’impianto.

- Fissare al muro una canalina passacavi (possibilmente con

separatore interno) di opportune dimensioni in cui far passare

successivamente le tubazioni e i cavi elettrici.

- Tagliare i tratti di tubazione abbondando di circa 3-4 cm sulla

lunghezza.

IMPORTANTE: effettuare il taglio esclusivamente con un

WDJOLDWXEL D URWHOOD ¿J  VWULQJHQGR D SLFFROL LQWHUYDOOL SHU

non schiacciare il tubo.

NON UTILIZZARE MAI UN NORMALE SEGHETTO, i trucioli

Installation, laying and connecting the coolant lines

IMPORTANT: Do not make the connections using normal hydraulic

pipes as they could contain residue shavings, dirt or water that

could damage the components of the unit and prejudice the working

Do not deform or crush the pipes.

Bend the pipes with the widest possible angle. Check the zone to

identify any gas leaks.

Only use special copper pipes for refrigeration that are supplied

cleaned and sealed at each end.

After having made the cuts, seal the ends of the reel and the

cut piece immediately.

Pre-insulated copper refrigeration pipes can be used.

- Identify a route for the pipeline that reduces the length and the

bends in the tubes as much as possible to obtain maximum

performance from the system.

- Fix a suitably sized cable routing duct to the wall (if possible with

internal separator) for routing the pipes and electrical wires.

- Cut the lengths of pipe 3-4 cm longer than the required length.

completed seal the ends of the pipe with insulating tape.

Do not insert both pipes into the same sheath as this could
