The fax machine starts transmitting and the message
"TRANSMITTING" appears on display.
If the transmission has been completed successfully, at
the end the message "TX COMPLETED" appears on
display for a few seconds.
Otherwise, if the transmission has not been completed
successfully, at the end on the display appears the mes-
sage "TX ERROR" for a few seconds followed by an
acoustic signal and error led "

In both cases, at the end of the transmission, the display

Function key F2: to select one of the following options in
sequence: capital letters only, small letters only and
capital letters only for the first letter of the first word of
each phrase.
To scroll to the left (upper part of key) or to the right
(lower part of key).
Function key F1: to delete the character to the left of the
cursor.
While you write the message, at the bottom of the dis-
play you will see the maximum number of characters
that you can enter (160). This number decreases by
one for each character entered so that you can tell how
many characters you have already entered and how
many you have left.
If you like, you can also take a number from your phone
book and put in the message. To insert a number, follow
the procedure from step 5; otherwise, skip straight to
step 12.

9. To find the number you wish to insert in the message,
you can:

want to find. The cordless phone will search for the
name in alphabetical order.
