remote control
to control almost all TV sets, satellite
receivers, DVB-Set Top Boxes (STB),
DVD players and recorders, CD players
and other infrared-controllable devices.
1 Important – please read
The Vivanco UR is pre-programmed to
control up to 10 devices, replacing
damaged or lost original remote
controls. It controls the basic functions
of the devices for which it has been set
and is not designed to replace all the
functions of the original remote controls.
In order to be able to control your
devices, you must set the remote control
as described in the section "Code entry".
2 Inserting batteries
Open the battery compartment on the
rear of the UR. Then insert 2 new AAA
alkaline or preloaded long shelf life AAA
rechahrgeable NiMH batteries. Make
sure that the polarity is correct: the "+"
and "-" markings on the batteries and in
the compartment must match. To check
functionality, please look on LCD, if e.g.
a clock time and a device code number
is indicated function is ok.
3 Clock Setting
1. Press SET and PWR button
simultanously and release buttons,
when time indication starts
blinking. See Fig..

4 Code entry
The correct control codes can be set via
direct code entry or automatic code
search.
Direct code entry
Using the enclosed code list, note the
possible codes for the device and the
brand.
To set your TV set, proceed as follows:
1. Using the enclosed code list, find
the codes to control your brand of
television (TV). It is possible that
there are several suitable codes
and you should find out the most
suitable.
2. Switch on a program on your TV.
3. Press the SET button, hold it down
and at the same time press a
device button, e.g. TV*), until the
selected device indication is
displayed and the CODE NO. is
blinking.
4. Then enter one of selected three-
digit codes.
5. When the first and second number
buttons are pressed the blinking
goes on; when the third is
pressed, the selected code is
indicated without blinking..
6. Try out the functions. If everything
is okay, you can set the remote
control as described in steps 1 to
5 for other devices. If it is not
okay, try another code for the
same brand.
The letters on the device buttons
TV1/TV2*), DVD/VCR, DVB1/DVB2*)
SAT1/SAT2*), AUX1/AUX2*) are for
your orientation only. You can set each
type of device under any of the buttons.
If you do not find a suitable code for a
device, look for it using the code search.
*): All device keys can be assigned

Búsqueda automática de código
Para poder controlar, p. ej., un televisor:
1. Encienda un programa en su
televisor (en el televisor o
mediante el telemando original).
2. Presione la tecla de aparato
mediante la cual desea controlar
un aparato, p. ej. TV*).
3. Entonces, presione durante unos
5 segundos la tecla SET hasta
que destelle el número de código.
4. Suelte la tecla SET y enfoque su
mando hacia el aparato a
controlar. Entonces, el mando
emite aproximadamente cada 2
segundos una señal de prueba.
5. Si su televisor se apaga, presione
poco después la tecla SET de
aparato para memorizar el código
encontrado.
6. El cambio de los números de
código se detiene y la búsqueda
está terminada.
7. Compruebe el funcionamiento. Si
el funcionamiento es correcto,
puede ajustar el telemando según
indicado bajo los pasos 1 hasta 6
para controlar otros aparatos con

5 Control de aparato
Para controlar un aparato especial,
primero debe presionar una tecla de
aparato, p. ej. TV para controlar el
televisor y después las teclas de función
requeridas.
Regulación de volumen
Para ciertos aparatos que no disponen
de una directa regulación de volumen,
grabadora de video, DVD, etc. puede
controlar el volumen del televisor sin
tener que presionar antes la tecla TV*)
(Punch Through).

Telecomando universale
per comandare quasi tutti i televisori, i
ricevitori satellitari, i lettori e i
masterizzatori di DVD, i lettori di CD ed
altri apparecchi comandabili ad
infrarossi.
1 Importante – leggere attentamente
Vivanco UR è preprogrammato per il
comando di massimo 10 apparecchi, per
sostituire telecomandi originali
danneggiati o smarriti. Il telecomando è
in grado di comandare le funzioni base
degli apparecchi per i quali è impostato,
però non è stato ideato per sostituire
tutte le funzioni dei telecomandi originali.
E’ necessario programmare il
telecomando come descritto nel
paragrafo “Impostazione del codice” per
poter comandare i propri apparecchi.
2 Inserimento della batteria
Aprire il vano batteria sul lato inferiore
del telecomando, v.fig., esercitando una
leggera pressione che permetterà
l’apertura del coperchio. Inserire dunque
2 microbatterie alcaline oppure micro-
accumulatori pronti all'uso con lunga
durata di conservazione. Verificare che
la polarità sia giusta: i segni “+” e “-“
sulla batteria e nel vano devono
coincidere. Se tutto è stato eseguito
correttamente, il display LCD visualizza
l’ora e un dispositivo.

3 Impostazione dell’ora
1. Premere contemporaneamente i
tasti SET e PWR finché
l’indicazione dell’ora comincia a
lampeggiare. Si veda
l’illustrazione.
2. Rilasciare poi i due tasti e inserire
l’ora attuale (hhmm). Dopo
l’inserimento della quarta cifra,
l’indicazione smette di
lampeggiare e l’ora è impostata.
Impostazione del codice
E’ possibile impostare i codici di
comando corretti giusti immettendoli
direttamente oppure mediante la
Ricerca automatica del codice.
Input diretto del codice
Consultare l’elenco dei codici incluso
nella confezione e annotare i codici che
potrebbero essere adatti all’apparecchio
e alla marca.
Per regolare le impostazioni per il
proprio televisore, procedere come
segue:
1. Cercare nell’elenco dei codici
incluso nella confezione, i codici
per comandare televisori (TV)
della marca del proprio
apparecchio. E’ possibile che più
codici siano corretti. Si tratta allora
di trovare il codice più adatto.
2. Selezionare un canale televisivo.
3. Premere il tasto SET, mantenerlo
premuto e premere
simultaneamente un tasto di
apparecchio, ad es. TV*), finché
non si accende un numero di
codice (CODE NO.).
4. In seguito immettere uno dei
codici a tre cifre trovati. .
5. . Premendo il primo e il secondo
tasto numerico, l’indicazione del
numero continua a lampeggiare,
se si preme il terzo tasto si
visualizza il codice impostato e la
cifra non lampeggià più.
6. Testare il funzionamento. Se tutto
è ok, regolare il telecomando per il
comando di altri apparecchi come
descritto ai punti da 1 a 5. Se
qualcosa non va, provare con un
altro codice della stessa marca.
Le diciture dei tasti di apparecchio
DVD/VCR*),
DVB1/DVB2*),SAT1/SAT2*), ,
AUX1/AUX2*) hanno esclusivamente un
valore indicativo. In realtà è possibile
abbinare un qualsiasi tipo di
apparecchio ad ogni tasto.
Se per un apparecchio non si trova
alcun codice, cercarlo servendosi della
Ricerca del codice.
*):Tutti e i tasti apparecchio possono
essere assegnati in modo duplice, con
la possibilità di pilotare in tutto 10 diversi
apparecchi. Premendo un tasto una
volta, secondo le presenti istruzioni, si
può immettere un codice apparecchio
per la prima assegnazione, con la quale
pilotare il primo apparecchio. Premendo
due volte entro due secondi un tasto
dell’apparecchio, si può impostare il
tasto per un secondo apparecchio,
ovvero pilotare con tale tasto un altro
apparecchio.
Ricerca del codice
Per poter comandare un televisore:
1. Selezionare un canale televisivo
(sul televisore o mediante il
telecomando originale).
2. Premere il tasto SET, mantenerlo
premuto e premere
simultaneamente un tasto di
apparecchio, ad es. TV*), finché il
codice (CODE NO.) comincia a
lampeggiare.
3. In seguito premere di nuovo
brevemente il tasto SET: .
4. Premere il tasto PWR ogni 2
secondi circa.
5. Quando il televisore si spegne,
premere brevemente il tasto di
apparecchio (TV*)) per
memorizzare il codice trovato.
6. Il codice si visualizza in modo
fisso e la ricerca è terminata.

7. Testare il funzionamento. Se tutto
è ok, regolare il telecomando per il
comando di altri apparecchi come
descritto ai punti da 1 a 6. Se
qualcosa non va, continuare la
ricerca come descritto ai punti da
1 a 6.
Ricerca automatica del codice
Per poter comandare un televisore:
1. Selezionare un canale televisivo
(sul televisore o mediante il
telecomando originale).
2. Premere il tasto di apparecchio
con il quale si vuole comandare un
apparecchio, ad es. TV*).
3. In seguito premere il tasto SET
per ca. 5 secondi finché il codice
inizia a lampeggiare.
4. Rilasciare il tasto SET e puntare
l’UR sull’apparecchio da
comandare. L’UR trasmette ogni 2
secondi ca. un segnale di test.
5. Quando il televisore si spegne,
premere brevemente SET per
memorizzare il codice trovato.
6. Il codice si visualizza in modo
fisso e la ricerca è terminata.
7. Testare il funzionamento. Se tutto
è ok, regolare il telecomando per il
comando di altri apparecchi come
descritto ai punti da 1 a 6. Se
qualcosa non va, continuare la
ricerca come descritto ai punti da
1 a 6.
4 Comando di un apparecchio
Per comandare un particolare
apparecchio, premere dapprima un tasto
di apparecchio, ad es. TV per il
comando del televisore; in seguito
premere i tasti di funzione desiderati.
Regolazione del volume
Nel caso di determinati apparecchi
sprovvisti di regolazione del volume,
quali videoregistratori, DVD ecc., è
possibile regolare il volume del
televisore senza dover premere prima il
tasto TV (Punch Through).

dvd-spelers en -recorders, DVB-set-top-
boxen (STB), cd-spelers en andere
apparaten die via infrarood bedienbaar
zijn.
1 Belangrijk! Lezen a.u.b.
De Vivanco afstandsbediening is
voorgeprogrammeerd voor de bediening
van maximaal 10 apparaten, als
vervanging van beschadigde of verloren
geraakte, originele bedieningen. Hij
bedient de hoofdfuncties van de
apparaten waarvoor hij is ingesteld en is
niet ontwikkeld om alle functies van de
originele afstandsbedieningen te
vervangen. U dient de
afstandsbediening in te stellen zoals
beschreven in de paragraaf 'Code-
invoer' om uw apparaten te kunnen
bedienen.
2 Batterijen vervangen
Open het batterijvak aan de onderzijde
van de afstandsbediening (zie fig.) en
stop er 2 AAA-batterijen of herlaadbare
AAA-accu’s in. Controleer de juiste
polariteit: de '+' en '-' van de batterij
moeten overeenstemmen met de
markeringen in het batterijvak. Druk ter
controle van de correcte werking op de
PWR-toets. Als alles in orde is, knippert
in het LCD-display een tijd en een
apparaat toets.
3 Tijd instellen
1. De SET en PWR-toets tegelijk
indrukken totdat de tijdweergave
knippert. Zie Afb.
2. Dan de beide toetsen loslaten en
de huidige tijd (uren, minuten)

5 Apparatstyrning
För att styra en specifik apparat, trycker
du först på en apparatknapp, t.ex. TV för
att styra TV och därefter på de önskade
funktionsknapparna.
Volymstyrning
För vissa apparater utan volymstyrning,
videobandspelare, dvd-spelare osv. kan
du styra volymen för TV-apparaten utan
att först behöva trycka på TV-knappen.

1 Vigtigt – læs venligst
Vivanco UR er forprogrammeret til
betjening af op til 10 apparater som
erstatning for originale fjernbetjeninger,
der er beskadiget eller gået tabt. Den
styrer grundfunktionerne på de
apparater, som den er indstillet til, men
er ikke beregnet til at erstatte samtlige
funktioner på de originale
fjernbetjeninger. Før fjernbetjeningen
kan benyttes, skal den indstilles som
beskrevet i afsnittet “Indtastning af
kode”.
2 Isætning af batterier
Batterirummet på bagsiden af UR-
fjernbetjeningen (se fig.) åbnes, og 2
AAA alkaliske batterier eller foropladede
AAA genopladelige NiMH-batterier med
lang hyldetid sættes i. Tjek for korrekt
polaritet: Batteriets og batterirummets
"+" og "–" markeringer skal svare til
hinanden. Hvis alt er korrekt, viser LDC-
displayet et klokkeslæt og et apparat.
3 Indstilling af ur
1. Tryk samtidig på knapperne SET
og PWR, indtil visningen af
klokkeslættet blinker. Se billede.
2. Slip nu begge taster og indtast det
aktuelle klokkeslæt (ttmm). Efter
indtastning af 4. ciffer holder
visningen af klokkeslættet op med
at blinke, og tiden er indstillet.
4 Indtastning af kode
De rigtige styrekoder kan indstilles ved
direkte indtastning af koden eller findes
ved hjælp af den automatiske
kodesøgning.
Direkte indtastning af kode
Find ved hjælp af medfølgende kodeliste
frem til koderne, der passer til
pågældende apparat og mærke.
For at indstille dit TV-apparat er
fremgangsmåden følgende:
1. Find de koder på medfølgende
kodeliste, der er beregnet til dit
TV-mærke. Hvis der står flere
koder til rådighed, find frem til den,
der passer bedst.
2. Tænd for en vilkårlig TV-kanal.
3. Tryk på SET-knappen, hold den
nede, og tryk samtidigt på en af
apparatknapperne, f.eks. TV*),
indtil kodenummeret (CODE NO.)
blinker.
4. Indtast nu en af de trecifrede
koder.
5. Når der trykkes på 1. og 2.
ciffertast, blinker tallene videre;
efter tryk på 3. ciffertast vises den
indstillede kode uden at blinke.
6. Afprøv funktionen. Hvis alt
fungerer efter hensigten, indstil
fjernbetjeningen iht. pkt. 1-5 til
betjening af yderligere enheder.
Hvis ikke alt virker efter hensigten,
prøv med en anden kode til
samme mærke.
