Einleitung
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Produkt der ONLINE USV-Systeme AG entschieden haben. Dieses Merkblatt
enthält wichtige Anweisungen, die Sie während der Installation und Wartung der USV-Anlage und der Batterien
befolgen müssen. Bei Nichteinhaltung können technische Schäden sowie schwere, mitunter sogar tödliche
Verletzungen die Folge sein. Bitte lesen Sie alle Anweisungen des Handbuches, bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten.

Sicherheitsinformation
• Die USV-Anlage führt lebensgefährliche Spannungen. Alle Reparatur- und Wartungsarbeiten sollten nur von
Kundendienstfachleuten durchgeführt werden.
• Die USV-Anlage enthält eine eigene Energiequelle (Batterien). Der Ausgang der USV-Anlage kann Spannung
führen, auch wenn die USV-Anlage nicht an eine Wechselstromquelle angeschlossen ist.
• Um Brandgefahr oder das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages zu verringern, darf die USV-Anlage nur in
Gebäuden mit kontrollierter Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit installiert werden, in denen keine leitenden
Schmutzstoe vorhanden sind. Die Umgebungstemperatur darf 40°C nicht übersteigen. Die USV-Anlage
darf nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder in extrem hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit (>90%) betrieben werden.
• Vergewissern Sie sich vor dem Transport der USV-Anlage, dass sie von der Stromversorgung getrennt und
ausgeschaltet ist und die Batterien deaktiviert sind.
• Batterien können das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlags bergen oder durch hohen Kurzschlussstrom in
Brand geraten. Bitte treen Sie die erforderlichen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen. Die Wartung muss von qualizier-
tem Personal durchgeführt werden, das im Umgang mit Batterien geübt ist und über gute Kenntnisse der
erforderlichen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen verfügt. Halten Sie nicht autorisiertes Personal von Batterien fern.
• Die Batterien müssen ordnungsgemäß entsorgt werden. Hierbei sind die örtlichen Bestimmungen zu beachten.
• Batterien dürfen nicht verbrannt werden. Es besteht Explosionsgefahr.

ACHTUNG
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Gesamtnennleistung aller angeschlossenen Verbraucher die Kapazität
der USV-Anlage nicht überschreitet. Die Stromaufnahme von induktiven Lasten kann sehr hoch sein, bitte
beachten Sie dies bei der Dimensionierung ihrer USV-Anlage.
Es dürfen keine Laserdrucker angeschlossen werden!
1. USV auspacken, Lieferumfang kontrollieren
2. Mittels Kaltgeräteanschlusskabel (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) an Steckdose anschließen
230V ~
3. USV-Anlage einschalten
Betätigen Sie den Schalter an der USV-Anlage bis ein kurzes akustisches Signal ertönt und die
Status-LED leuchtet. Die USV-Anlage arbeitet nun im Normalbetrieb.
4. Last/Verbraucher anschließen
Schließen Sie Ihre Verbraucher an den Ausgangssteckdosen mit den mitgelieferten Anschlusskabeln an.
Die Verbraucher werden jetzt über die USV versorgt und sind vor Netzausfällen und Netzschwankungen
geschützt.

5. DSL / Telefon / Fax / Netzwerk gegen Überspannungen schützen
Verbinden Sie die ankommende Leitung mit dem „TO LINE“ Anschluss und die abgehende mit
dem „TO PHONE“ Anschluss.
6. Überwachungs- und Shutdownsoftware Datawatch installieren
Verbinden Sie Ihren Rechner per USB Kabel (im Lieferumfang enthalten) mit der USV.
Laden Sie die DataWatch Software von > www.online-usv.de herunter und installieren Sie die Software.
Den Lizenzschlüssel nden Sie auf dem, der USV beiliegenden Dokument.
Die Software bietet Monitoring-, Überwachungs- und Testfunktionen, sowie die Möglichkeit den Rechner
gesichert herunterzufahren.

Safety information
• The UPS system carries life-threatening voltages. All repair and maintenance work must be carried out by
customer service personnel.
• The UPS system has its own energy source (batteries). The output of the UPS system can be live even when
the UPS system is not connected to a source of alternating current.
• In order to reduce the risk of re or electric shock, the UPS system may only be installed in buildings with
controlled temperature and air humidity in which there are no conductive contaminants. The ambient
temperature must not exceed 40°C. The UPS system must not be operated near water or in extremely high
air humidity (>90%).
• Before transporting the UPS system, make sure that it is disconnected from the power supply and switched
o and that the batteries are deactivated.
• Batteries can pose a risk of electric shock or catch re as a result of high short circuit current. Please take
the necessary precautionary measures. Maintenance must be carried out by qualied personnel who are
trained in handling batteries and have good knowledge of the necessary precautionary measures. Keep
unauthorised personnel away from batteries.
• Batteries must be disposed of properly. Local regulations must be taken into consideration.
• Batteries must not be burnt. There is risk of explosion.

PLEASE NOTE
Make sure that the overall rated performance of the load connected does not exceed the capacity of the
UPS system. The power consumption of inductive loads can be very high, please take this into considera-
tion when specifying your UPS system.
Laser Printers are not allowed to be connected!
1. Unpack UPS, check scope of delivery
2. Plug the mains connection cable (not included) of the load into a wall outlet socket 230V

3. Switching on the UPS system
Push the switch on the UPS system until you hear a short beep and the status LED glow.
The UPS system is working in normal mode.
4. Connecting load
To connect the load to the UPS system, use the cold device extension cables provided. The load is now
powered by the UPS and protected against spikes and power failures.

5. DSL / telephone / fax / network surge protection
Connect the incoming line with “TO LINE” and the outgoing line with “TO PHONE”
6. Monitoring- and Shutdown Software installation
Connect your computer to the UPS (USB cable included in delivery).
Download the DataWatch software from > www.online-ups.com and install the software.
The license key can be found on the document enclosed with the UPS.
The software oers options for shut down of the computer, monitoring, surveillance and test functions.

Informazioni di sicurezza
• All’interno dell’UPS sono presenti tensioni molto pericolose. Tutti gli interventi di riparazione e manutenzio-
ne devono essere eseguiti esclusivamente da personale qualicato del Servizio di Assistenza Clienti.
• L’UPS contiene una propria sorgente di energia (batterie). L’uscita dell’UPS può erogare tensione anche
quando l’ingresso non è collegato a una sorgente di corrente alternata.
• Per ridurre al minimo il pericolo di incendio o il rischio di scossa elettrica, il sistema UPS può essere installa-
to solo in edici a temperatura e umidità controllate, privi di sostanze conduttive e inquinanti. La tempera-
tura ambiente non deve essere superiore a 40°C. Il sistema UPS non deve essere azionato in prossimità di
acqua o in presenza di umidità atmosferica estremamente elevata (> 90%).
• Prima di trasportare l’UPS assicurarsi che questo sia scollegato dall’alimentazione elettrica e spento e che le
batterie siano disconnesse, vedi sotto “attivare la batteria”).
• Le batterie possono celare il rischio di scossa elettrica o incendiarsi a causa di un’elevata corrente di corto-
circuito. Adottare le misure di precauzione necessarie. La manutenzione deve essere eseguita da personale
qualicato che abbia familiarità con le batterie e che conosca bene le misure di precauzione necessarie.
Tenere il personale non autorizzato lontano dalle batterie.
• Le batterie devono essere smaltite conformemente alle disposizioni di legge. A tal ne, osservare le norme
locali vigenti in materia.
• Le batterie non devono essere bruciate. In tal caso sussiste il pericolo di esplosione.

AVVISO
Assicurarsi che la potenza nominale totale di tutte le utenze collegate non superi la capacità dell’ UPS.
L'assorbimento di corrente di carichi induttivi o stampanti laser può essere molto elevato; tenerne conto
per il dimensionamento dell’UPS.
1. Disimballare l'UPS, controllare la fornitura
2. Inserire in una presa a muro 230V il cavo di collegamento alla rete (non incluso)

3. Accendere l’UPS
Premere l'interruttore sulle UPS per un breve segnale acustico e le luci LED di stato .
L’UPS lavora ora in modalità di funzionamento normale.
4. Collegamento del carico
Per collegare il carico all‘UPS, utilizzare i cavi di prolunga in dotazione. Il carico è ora alimentato dall'UPS e
protetto da picchi di tensione e interruzioni di corrente.

Collegare la linea entrante alla presa “TO LINE” e la linea uscente alla presa “TO PHONE”.
6. Installazione del software di monitoraggio e spegnimento
Collegare il computer all'UPS (il cavo USB è incluso nella fornitura).
Scaricare il software DataWatch da > www.online-ups.it e installare il software.
La chiave di licenza si trova sul documento allegato all'UPS.
Il software ore opzioni per lo spegnimento del computer, funzioni di monitoraggio, sorveglianza e test.
