INSTALLATION

The ISMART can be installed in your car using either one of the 2 mounting accessories:

A. Ventilator mount

The ISMART ventilator mount is designed to suit most car ventilation grilles. Fix the 2 legs of the

ventilation mount onto the big plate. Afterwards, ﬁx the 2 legs onto your car ventilation grille.

Adjust the ventilator mount and ventilation grille in the best possible position for the carkit. Make

sure that the location and ﬁxation cannot inﬂuence the safety of driving. After that, connect the

ISMART cradle to the ventilator mount.

B. Suction cup

Mount the suction cup onto the windshield and press the button ﬁrmly to secure it in place. Adjust the

holder in the good position and make sure that it cannot inﬂuence the safety of driving. Then connect

the ISMART cradle to the suction cup. Connect the USB cable to the ISMART and the cigarette plug to

charge the battery of the carkit. It will also charge your iPhone as soon as it is placed in the cradle.

The ISMART offers 2 charging options:

A. USB cable (11)

B. Cigarette lighter (10)

Make sure that the ISMART is fully charged before using the device.

4. Phone button (Turning on / Turning off / Pairing / answer/end/reject a call / Voice dialing /

Redial / 2nd call)

- Turning ON / OFF automatically (by motion sensor)):

When using the ISMART for the ﬁrst time, you ALWAYS have to use the Phone button (4) for powering

ON the unit and start pairing procedure. The ISMART is provided with a motion sensor . The ISMART

turns ON and connects automatically with the last connected phone the moment you enter the car!

You will also hear the connection beep tone. The ISMART will also turn OFF automatically after you

have left the car.

In the following cases we advise you to turn the ISMART OFF manually (by pressing the Phone

button(4)) :

• When driving with the ISMART and no Bluetooth

connection with your phone

• When hand carrying without using (e.g. when travelling in luggage, …)

- Turning ON / OFF manually (by pressing Phone button (4)):

• Turning ON: Press the Phone button (4) until you hear a beep tone and the blue LED

indicator (5) starts ﬂashing.

• Turning off: Press the Phone button (4) until you hear a beep tone and the red LED indicator (5)

lights up brieﬂy before turning OFF again.

NOTE:

After entering the Bluetooth

range of your carkit or when the carkit just turned ON by

motion sensor, automatic reconnection sometimes can take more than 10 seconds.

Attention!

The ISMART will also turn off automatically if there has been no Bluetooth

connection between the

ISMART and another mobile device for more than 10 minutes.

- Pairing:

First use pairing: When the ISMART is turned on for the ﬁrst time, it will automatically enter

pairing mode and search for available Bluetooth

devices (the LED indicator (5) starts ﬂashing

by blue and red colors alternately). → Let your phone search for Bluetooth

devices. →

Conﬁrm the connection with the ISMART in the menu of your mobile phone and enter the PIN code

0000* to pair both devices. You will hear a long beep. → The blue LED indicator (5) will start ﬂashing

again. *PIN code is usually not required for Bluetooth

2.1 (or higher) mobile phones

Normal pairing: Make sure that the ISMART is turned off. → Press and hold the Phone button (4)

until the LED indicator (5) starts ﬂashing by blue and red colors alternately. → Let your phone search

for Bluetooth

devices. → Select the ISMART in your mobile phone and enter the PIN code 0000*

to pair both devices. You will hear a long beep. → The blue LED indicator (5) will start ﬂashing

again.*PIN code is usually not required for Bluetooth

2.1 (or higher) mobile phones/

Attention!

• To ensure automatic reconnection between the phone and the ISMART, we recommend setting the

ISMART as “Authorized” in the Bluetooth

menu of your phone! Please refer to the manual of your

mobile phone for more detailed information.

• If the Bluetooth

connection is not restored automatically after disconnection, press the Phone

button (4) to restore the connection manually.

- Answer / end / reject a call:

- Incoming call: Press 1x to answer a call.

- Incoming call: Press and hold (3 sec.) to reject a call.

- During a conversation: Press 1x to end a call.

- Standby mode: Press 1x to restore the Bluetooth

connection after it has been broken.

- Voice dialing / redial / 2nd call:

- Standby mode: Press 1x to activate voice dialing.

Attention!

The voice dialing function is only available if it is supported by your mobile phone!

- Standby mode: Press quickly 2x to redial the last dialed number.

- During a conversation: Press 2x when you hear a beep (2nd call) to answer a 2nd call and put the

current call on hold.

- During a conversation: Press brieﬂy 2x to switch between 2 calls.

- During 2nd call: Press 1x to end 1 of the 2 calls.

Attention!

Some phones do not support this Bluetooth

function or need conﬁrmation through the mobile

phone menu!

5. LED indicator

- Red indicator:

• Flashes in Standby mode: low battery capacity.

• Lights continuously while charging the battery.

• Lights continuously in mute mode.

- Blue indicator:

• Flashes in Standby mode.

- Red & Blue indicators:

• Flash alternately in pairing mode.

6. Microphone

Make sure that the microphone is directed towards your mouth. For optimum performance, the

microphone should be located at a distance of 60 cm from the drivers’ mouth. Make sure that there

are no obstacles in front of the microphone of the ISMART.

8. (+) and (-) Volume buttons (adjust the volume / switching calls from ISMART to mobile phone and

back)

- Adjust the volume:

- Press (+) to increase the volume level.

- Press (-) to decrease the volume level.

The volume for iPhone 4 / 4S is usually 60 ~ 70 %, for iPhone 3GS close to 100 % and for iPhone 3G

about 80 %.

- Switching calls from ISMART to mobile phone: During a conversation, press the Volume + and

Volume – button simultaneously. This will only work during a single call. If you press again shortly

simultaneously the Volume + and Volume – button, the call is transferred back to the carkit.

9. Mute-button (M)

- Turn on mute mode: During a conversation, press the M button (9) to temporarily turn off the

microphone of the ISMART. You will hear a tone signal every 30 seconds.

- Turn off mute mode: Press the M button (9) again to activate the microphone again.

You can use the 3,5 mm jack cable to connect the ISMART to the car radio system to transfer the

sound over the speakers of your car.

Note:

The ISMART is suitable for both handsfree calling and music listening. It is provided with different

Bluetooth

proﬁles to support this feature. This enables your navigation application (if you have this

installed on your iPhone) to transfer the sound of the guidance instructions over the carkit speaker.

INSTALLATION

L’ISMART peut être installé dans votre voiture en utilisant un des 2 accessoires de montage:

A. Support grille de ventilation

Le support grille de ventilation ISMART est spéciﬁquement conçu pour être montée sur (presque)

toutes les grille de ventilation. Fixez les 2 jambes du support grille de ventilation au platine support.

Ajustez le support et la grille de ventilation pour diriger l’ ISMART dans la position que vous voulez.

Assurez-vous que la location et la ﬁxation n’inﬂuencent pas à votre sécurité. Connectez maintenant

le berceau ISMART au support grille de ventilation.

B. Support ventouse

Montez le support ventouse au pare-brise et pressez le bouton fermement jusqu’à ce que le support

soit correctement ﬁxé. Ajustez le support dans la position que vous voulez. Assurez-vous que la

location et la ﬁxation n’inﬂuencent pas à votre sécurité. Connectez maintenant le berceau ISMART

au support ventouse. Connectez le câble USB à l’ISMART et au chargeur allume-cigares. Le

chargement commencera au moment où vous placez votre iPhone dans le berceau.

L’ ISMART offre 2 possibilités de chargement:

Lorsque vous activez votre ISMART pour la première fois, vous devez TOUJOURS appuyer sur la

touche téléphone (4) pour l’allumer et commencer la procédure d’association.

L’ ISMART est doté d’un détecteur de mouvement. L’ISMART s’allume et se connecte automatiquement

avec la dernière téléphone connectée lorsque que vous entrez dans la voiture ! Vous entendrez un

bip indiquant la réussite de la connexion. L’ ISMART s’éteint aussi automatiquement lorsque vous

sortez la voiture.

Nous vous conseillerons d’éteindre l’ISMART manuellement dans les situations suivantes (en

appuyant sur la touche téléphone (4)) :

• Lorsque vous êtes en train de conduire avec l’ ISMART SANS connexion Bluetooth

• Quand vous l’avez chez vous sans l’utilisation (par exemple dans votre bagage pendant un voyage, …).

- ÉTEINDRE/ALLUMER l’ ISMART manuellement (en appuyant la touche téléphone (4)) :

• ALLUMER: Appuyez sur la touche téléphone (4) jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un long bip et le

témoin lumineux bleu (5) commence à clignoter.

• ÉTEINDRE: Appuyez sur la touche téléphone (4) jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un long bip et le

témoin lumineux s’allume brièvement avant d’éteindre.

NOTE:

Si votre téléphone mobile entre à nouveau la portée Bluetooth

de votre kit mains libres ou si le

détecteur de mouvement a fait allumer le kit, la reconnexion automatique peut prendre plus de 10

secondes.

- Association:

Association automatique, à la première utilisation : Lorsque vous activez votre ISMART pour la

première fois, ISMART s’active automatiquement en mode d’association et lancera une recherche

de périphériques Bluetooth

téléphone (4) jusqu’à ce que le témoin lumineux (5) clignote alternativement en bleu et rouge. →

Lancez une recherche de périphériques Bluetooth

sur votre téléphone mobile et sélectionnez

l’ISMART. → Terminez l’association en tapant le code PIN 0000*. Vous entendrez un long bip et

le témoin lumineux bleu (5) s’allume. *Pas toujours nécessaire pour téléphones mobiles munis de

Bluetooth

Remarque !

• Pour rétablir la connexion automatique, nous vous recommandons de déﬁnir l’ISMART comme

“Autorisé” dans le menu Bluetooth

de votre téléphone mobile! Consultez le manuel de votre

téléphone pour des informations supplémentaires.

• Si la reconnexion Bluetooth

ne s’est pas faite automatiquement après la déconnexion, appuyez 1 x

sur la touche téléphone (4) pour la rétablir automatiquement.

- Répondre/ Terminer/ Refuser un appel

- En cas d’appel entrant: Appuyez 1x pour prendre l’appel.

- En cas d’appel entrant: Appuyez plus longtemps (3 sec.) pour refuser l’appel.

- En cours d’appel: Appuyez 1x pour raccrocher.

- En veille: Appuyez 1 x pour rétablir manuellement la connexion Bluetooth

lorsque celle-ci a été

interrompue.

- Numérotation vocale / rappeler dernier numéro composé / 2

Remarque !

La fonction de numérotation vocale est disponible uniquement si votre téléphone supporte cette

fonction!

- En veille: Appuyez rapidement 2x pour rappeler le dernier numéro composé.

- Double appel: Lorsque vous entendez un bip (= 2ième appel), appuyez 2x pour accepter le 2ième

appel et mettre le premier appel en attente.

- Double appel: Appuyez brièvement 2x pour alterner entre les 2 conversations.

- Double appel: Appuyez 1x pour mettre ﬁn à l’un des deux appels.

Remarque!

Certains téléphones ne supportent pas cette fonction via Bluetooth

ou demandent une

conﬁrmation sur l’écran de votre téléphone!

5. TEMOIN LUMINEUX

- S’il est rouge:

• Clignote alors que le kit est en veille: l’autonomie restante est faible.

• S’allume pendant le chargement de la batterie.

• S’allume en mode « discret » (muet).

- S’il est bleu:

• Clignote lentement lorsque le kit est en mode veille.

- Clignote en rouge et bleu:

• Clignote alternativement : Le kit est en mode d’association (pairage).

6. Microphone

Orientez toujours le microphone vers votre bouche. Pour un fonctionnement parfait, le microphone

doit se trouver à 60 cm de la bouche du conducteur. Veillez à ce qu’il n’y ait pas d’objets devant le

microphone du ISMART.

7. HAUT-PARLEUR

- Adaptation du volume:

- Appuyez sur (+) pour augmenter le volume.

- Appuyez sur (-) pour réduire le volume.

Le volume pour l’iPhone 4 est généralement 60 ~ 70%, pour l’iPhone 3GS 100 % et pour l’iPhone 3G

80%.

- Transférer l’appel de l’ISMART vers le téléphone mobile: Maintenez les touches de volume (+)

et (-) simultanément enfoncées pour poursuivre la conversation sur votre téléphone mobile. Cette

fonction ne marche qu’en cas d’un appel unique. Pour poursuivre la conversation avec l’ISMART,

appuyez briévement les touche de volume (+) et (-).

9. TOUCHE MODE DISCRET (M)TOUCHE MODE DISCRET (M)

- Activer le mode discret: Appuyez la touche M (9) en cours de conversation pour désactiver

temporairement le microphone du ISMART. Vous entendrez un ton toutes les 30 secondes.

- Désactiver le mode discret: Appuyez à nouveau le touche M (9) pour activer le microphone.

Si votre système radio est pourvu d’une prise jack, vous pouvez connecter le câble jack à l’ ISMART

et votre radio pour écouter la musique sauvegardé sur votre iPhone par les haut-parleurs de la

voiture.

Note:

Grâce aux différents proﬁls Bluetooth

intégrés dans l’ISMART vous pouvez également transferer le son

de l’application de navigation (si installé sur votre iPhone) par l’haut-parleur de l’ISMART.

Beim Anbringen des ISMART im Auto können Sie zwischen 2 Haltern auswählen:

A. Lüftungsgitter-Halterung

Der ISMART Lüftungsgitter-Halter ist so konzipiert, das er in die meisten Lüftungsgitter der

verschiedenen Fahrzeuge eingeklipt werden kann. Stecken Sie dazu die beiden Stäbe in das

Lüftungsgitter und arretieren diese. Stellen Sie nun die Halterung so ein, dass Sie die beste Position

für die Bedienung des ISMART erreichen. Bitte versichern Sie sich dabei, dass die Position nicht die

Sicherheit beim Fahren gefährdet. Im Anschluss verbinden Sie einfach das Cradle mit der Halterung.

Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel mit dem ISMART und das Zigaretten-Ladekabel um die Batterie des

ISMART mit Strom zu versorgen. Auch Ihr iPhone wird auf diesem Wege geladen.

B. Saugnapf-Halterung

Befestigen Sie die Saugnapf-Halterung an der Frontscheibe und pressen Sie den Verriegelungs-Befestigen Sie die Saugnapf-Halterung an der Frontscheibe und pressen Sie den Verriegelungs-

Knopf. Bringen Sie die Halterung so an, dass eine Gefährdung beim Fahren etwa durch eine

Halterung. Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel mit dem ISMART und das Zigaretten-Ladekabel um die

Batterie des ISMART mit Strom zu versorgen. Auch Ihr iPhone wird auf diesem Wege geladen.

sobald Sie ins Fahrzeug einsteigen. Das Verbinden wird mit einem Piepston quittiert. Das ISMART

schaltet sich automatisch aus, wenn Sie das Auto verlassen.

In den folgenden Fällen raten wir Ihnen das ISMART manuell auszuschalten, indem Sie den

Telefon-Button (4) drücken.

- Anrufe vom ISMART zum iPhone wechseln: Während eines Gesprächs drücken Sei gleichzeitig + und

(-) . Das funktioniert nur während eines Anrufs. Wenn Sie nun erneut die beiden Lautstärke-Knöpfe

+ und – gleichzeitig drücken, wechselt das Gespräch wieder zurück zum ISMART.

9. Mute-Button (M)

- Einschalten des Mute Modus: Während eines Gesprächs drücken Sie den M-Button (9) um das

Mikrofon vom ISMART auszuschalten. Sie werden ein Ton Signal alle 30 Sekunden hören.

- Ausschalten des Mute Modus: Drücken Sie erneut den M-Button (9) um das Mikrofon wieder zu

aktivieren.

INSTALLATIE

De ISMART kan in uw auto geïnstalleerd worden door gebruik te maken van 1 van de 2 montageaccessoires:

A. Ventilatierooster mount

De ISMART ventilatierooster mount werd speciaal ontworpen zodat deze past op de meeste ventila-

tieroosters. Monteer de 2 beentjes van de houder aan het plaatje. Daarna monteert u de 2 beentjes

aan het ventilatierooster.

Pas de houder en het rooster aan zodat deze zich in de best mogelijke positie bevinden voor de

carkit. Zorg ervoor dat de locatie en bevestiging uw veiligheid niet in het gedrang brengt. Daarna

verbindt u de ISMART houder met de ventilatierooster mount.

B. Zuignap

Om de zuignap te bevestigen, drukt u deze stevig tegen de voorruit van de auto aan. Pas de zuignap

aan zodat deze zich in de best mogelijke positie bevindt voor de carkit. Daarna verbindt u de ISMART

houder met de zuignap. Verbind de USB kabel met de ISMART en de sigarettenplug om de batterij te

laden. De iPhone zal ook beginnen laden zodra deze in de houder geplaatst wordt.

De ISMART biedt 2 mogelijkheden om te laden:

A. Via USB kabel (11)

B. Via Sigarenaansteker(10)

Zorg ervoor dat de ISMART volledig opgeladen is alvorens deze in gebruik te nemen.

4. Telefoontoets (Aanschakelen / Uitschakelen / Koppelen / een oproep beantwoorden/beëindingen/

weigeren / Spraakherkenning / Nummerherhaling / 2de oproep)

- Aanschakelen / Uitschakelen (met bewegingssensor)):

Wanneer u de ISMART voor de eerste keer gebruikt, dient u ALTIJD de Telefoontoets (4) te gebruiken

om het toestel aan te zetten en de koppelingsprocedure te starten. De ISMART is voorzien van een

bewegingssensor. De ISMART gaat automatisch AAN en verbindt automatisch met de laatst verbon-

den telefoon zodra u in de auto stapt! U zal dan ook de verbindingspieptoon horen. De ISMART gaat

ook automatisch UIT zodra u de auto verlaat.

In de volgende situaties raden wij u aan de ISMART manueel uit te schakelen (door Telefoontoets

(4) in te drukken):

• Wanneer u met de ISMART aan het rijden bent ZONDER Bluetooth

verbinding met uw telefoon.

• Wanneer u de ISMART bij zich heeft, maar niet gebruikt (bv in uw bagage op reis, …).

- Manueel AAN/UIT schakelen (door Telefoontoets (4) in te drukken):

• AAN schakelen: Druk op de Telefoontoets (4) totdat u een bieptoon hoort en de blauwe LED indica-

tor (5) begint te knipperen.

• UIT schakelen: Druk op de Telefoontoets (4) totdat u een bieptoon hoort en de rode LED indicator

(5) kort oplicht alvorens UIT te gaan.

- Koppelen:

Automatisch koppelen, voor eerste gebruik: Zodra de ISMART voor de eerste keer aangeschakeld

wordt, zal deze automatisch in pairing mode gaan en zoeken naar beschikbare Bluetooth

appa-

raten (het indicatielampje (5) gaat afwisselend blauw en rood knipperen). → Laat uw telefoon naar

Bluetooth

apparaten zoeken. → Bevestig de verbinding met de ISMART in het menu van uw mobiele

telefoon en breng de PIN code 0000* in om de 2 toestellen deﬁnitief te koppelen (= pairen). U hoort

een bieptoon. → Het blauwe indicatielampje (5) zal opnieuw knipperen.

*PIN code is meestal niet vereist voor Bluetooth

2.1 (of hoger) telefoons.

Normaal (of manueel) koppelen: Zorg ervoor dat de ISMART uitgeschakeld is. → Druk op de Te-

lefoontoets (4) tot het indicatielampje (5) afwisselend blauw en rood gaat knipperen. → Laat uw

mobiele telefoon naar Bluetooth

apparaten zoeken. → Selecteer nu de ISMART op uw mobieleISMART op uw mobiele op uw mobiele

telefoon en breng de PIN code 0000* in om de 2 toestellen deﬁnitief te koppelen (= pairen). U hoort

Let op!

• Om een automatische herverbinding met de ISMART te garanderen raden wij u aan de ISMART in te

stellen als “Geautoriseerd” in het Bluetooth

menu van uw telefoon! Raadpleeg de handleiding van

uw telefoon voor meer informatie.

• Indien de Bluetooth

verbinding niet automatisch hersteld werd na een verbreking, drukt u op de

Telefoontoets (4) om deze manueel te herstellen.

- Tijdens een gesprek: Zodra u een bieptoon hoort (= 2de oproep) drukt u 2x om de 2de oproep aan te

nemen en de huidige oproep in wacht te zetten.

- Tijdens gesprek: 2x kort drukken om te wisselen tussen 2 oproepen.

- Tijdens 2de oproep: 1x drukken om 1 van de 2 oproepen te beëindigen.

Let op!

Sommige telefoons ondersteunen deze functie niet via Bluetooth

of vragen een bevestiging via

het menu van uw telefoon!

5. LED indicator

- Het rode lampje:

• Knippert in Standby mode: batterijcapaciteit is laag.

• Brandt constant tijdens het opladen van de batterij.

• Brandt constant in mute mode.

6. Microfoon

Richt de microfoon steeds naar uw mond. Voor een perfecte werking dient de microfoon zich op 60

cm van de mond van de bestuurder te bevinden. Zorg ervoor dat er zich geen objecten bevinden voor

de microfoon van de ISMART.

8. (+) and (-) Volumetoetsen (volume aanpassen / omschakelen van ISMART naar mobiele telefoon)

- Volume aanpassen:

- (+) drukken om het gespreksvolume te verhogen.

- (-) drukken om het gespreksvolume te verlagen.

Het volume voor iPhone 4 en 4S bedraagt meestal 60 ~ 70 %, voor iPhone 3GS bijna 100 % en voor

iPhone 3G ongeveer 80 %.

- Oproep omschakelen van ISMART NAAR mobiele telefoon: Druk tijdens een gesprek gelijktijdig op

de Volume + en Volume – toets. Deze functie werkt enkel bij een single oproep. Om de oproep terug

naar de ISMART te schakelen drukt u nogmaals gelijktijdig op de Volume + and Volume – toets.

9. Mute-toets (M)

- Mute mode aanschakelen: Druk tijdens een gesprek op de M toets (9) om de microfoon tijdelijk uit te

schakelen. U hoort elke 30 seconden een toon.

- Mute mode uitschakelen: Druk nogmaals op de M toets (9) om de microfoon opnieuw te activeren.

U kunt de 3,5 mm jack kabel gebruiken om de ISMART met uw autoradio te verbinden en op die

manier het geluid over de luidsprekers van de auto af te spelen.

Nota:

Met de ISMART kunt u zowel handenvrij bellen als muziek beluisteren dankzij de verschillende Bluetooth

proﬁelen. Zo kunt u ook het geluid van de navigatieapplicatie (indien u deze geïnstalleerd hebt op uw

telefoon) over de luidspreker van de carkit laten afspelen.

Il dispositivo ISMART offre due possibilità di montaggio:

A. Montaggio sulla griglia di ventilazione

Concepito appositamente per adattarsi alla maggior parte delle griglie di ventilazione. Fissare i due

supporti dell’apposito accessorio sulla superﬁcie piatta grande. In seguito, ﬁssare I due supporti sulla

griglia di ventilazione della vostra auto. Regolare le staffe e la griglia di ventilazione nella posizione

migliore per il kit auto. Assicurarsi che la posizione e il ﬁssaggio non danneggino la sicurezza della

guida. In seguito, collegare l’alloggiamento ISMART sul supporto di montaggio sul ventilatore.

B. A Ventosa

Applicare la ventosa sul parabrezza e tenere premuto saldamente per assicurare la presa. Regolare

il supporto in una buona posizione e veriﬁcare che non danneggi la sicurezza della guida. Collegare

quindi l’alloggiamento ISMART alla ventosa. Collegare il cavo USB al dispositivo ISMART e il connettore

dell’accendisigari per caricare la batteria del kit. E’ possibile inoltre caricare anche il vostro iPhone

semplicemente posizionandolo nell’alloggiamento.

Per utilizzare il dispositivo ISMART la prima volta, usare SEMPRE il tasto PHONE (4) per accendere

(ON) ed avviare la procedura di pairing. Il dispositivo ISMART è fornito con un sensore di movimento.

Il dispositivo ISMART si accende e si connette automaticamente all’ultimo telefono connesso nel

momento in cui si entra in auto! Si sentirà inoltre il tono di connessione (bip). Il dispositivo ISMART si

spegnerà automaticamente nel momento in cui uscite dall’auto.

Questi sono I casi nei quali raccomandiamo lo spegnimento MANUALE del dispositivo ISMART

(premendo il tasto Phone (4)):

• Quando si guida con il dispositivo ISMART privi di connessione di un Bluetooth

al vostro telefono.

• Qu

NOTA BENE:

Può succedere che la riconnessone automatica duri più di 10 secondi dopo aver attivato il (raggio d’azione)

Bluetooth

del vostro kit auto o immediatamente, all’accensione con il sensore di movimento.

Attenzione!

Il dispositivo ISMART si spegnerà automaticamente nel caso in cui non sia presente alcuna connessione

Bluetooth

fra il dispositivo ISMART ed un altro dispositivo mobile per un intervallo di tempo superiore

ai 10 minuti.

- Pairing

Primo utilizzo del pairing: Accendere il dispositivo ISMART per la prima volta, veriﬁcare che si avvii

la sintonizzazione automatica della modalità pairing e la ricerca dei dispositivi Bluetooth

presenti.

L’indicatore LED (5) lampeggia alternativamente fra il blu e il rosso. → Attendere che il vostro telefono

ricerchi I dispositivi Bluetooth

. → Confermare la connessione al dispositivo ISMART nel menu del

vostro cellulare e inserire il codice PIN 0000* per accoppiare I dispositivi. Al termine si udirà un lungo

bip. → L’indicatore blu a LED (5) inizia a lampeggiare di nuovo. *I codici PIN non vengono abitualmente

richiesti dai cellulari Bluetooth

− Durante una conversazione: premere 2 volte quando si sente un bip (seconda chiamata entrante) per

rispondere e mettere la conversazione corrente in pausa momentanea.

− Durante una conversazione: premere brevemente 2 volte per passare fra le due chiamate.

- Durante la seconda chiamata: premere 1 volta per terminare una delle due chiamate.

Attenzione!

Alcuni telefoni non supportano questa funzione Bluetooth

o necessitano di una conferma tramite il

menu del telefono!

• se lampeggia in modalità Stand by, la batteria si sta scaricando

• lampeggia continuamente durante la carica della batteria.

• lampeggia in modalità Stand by.

- Indicatori ROSSO & BLU

• lampeggiano alternativamente in modalità pairing.

6. Microfono

Veriﬁcare che il microfono sia diretto verso il vostro viso. Per una performance ottimale, il microfono

dovrebbe essere posizionato ad una distanza di 60 cm dal viso del guidatore. Veriﬁcare che non ci siano

ostacoli davanti al microfono del dispositivo ISMART.

8. Tasti Volume (+) e (-) (regola il volume / passaggio di chiamate fra ISMART e telefono cellulare e

viceversa)

- Regolare il volume

- Premere (+) per aumentare il livello di volume.

- Premere (-) per diminuire il livello di volume.

Il volume per iPhone 4 / 4S è solitamente al 60 ~ 70 %, per iPhone 3GS è vicino al 100 % e per iPhone 3G

piuttosto al 80%.

- Passaggio di chiamate da ISMART a telefono cellulare

Durante una conversazione, premere I tasti Volume + e – simultaneamente. Questo funziona solo

durante una singola chiamata. Premendo di nuovo brevemente e simultaneamente il tasto Volume + e

– , la chiamata viene trasferita di nuovo al kit auto.

9. Tasto Mute (M)

- Attivare la modalità mute: durante una conversazione, premere il tasto M (9) per spegnere

temporaneamente il microfono del dispositivo ISMART. Si udirà un segnale sonoro ogni 30 secondi.

- Spegnere la modalità mute: premere il tasto M (9) di nuovo per attivare il microfono nuovamente.

E’ possibile usare il cavo a jack 3,5 mm per collegare il dispositivo ISMART al sistema radio dell’auto e

trasferire l’audio attraverso gli altoparlanti dell’auto.

Nota Bene

Il dispositivo ISMART è adatto sia per le chiamate in viva voce che per l’ascolto di musica. E’ provvisto di diversi

proﬁli Bluetooth

che permettono questa funzione. Questo consente inoltre l’applicazione del navigatore (se

presente) per trasferire l’audio delle istruzioni sulla guida attraverso gli altoparlanti del kit per auto.
