Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY AV Conversion Switch. Featuring 8 AV inputs which can
be converted and scaled to resolutions up to Full HD 1080p to be output via 3 outputs, this
Switch is an ideal addition to any meeting or conference room, lecture hall or auditorium. The
Switch features configuration and control via RS-232, Telnet, Web GUI and IR making it simple
to integrate within automated installations. For added flexibility the Switch can be used with
LINDY’s range of AV Extenders, to reach remote displays and projectors.

Installation
To begin using the Switch simply connect your AV source devices to the corresponding input
ports of the Switch using standard male/male cable, and then connect the outputs of the Switch
to your display equipment again using standard male/male cables as required. The VGA output
of the Switch can also be used with Component video display using the supplied VGA/RGB
adapter cable. Once all sources and displays have been connected attach the power supply
and turn the Switch on using the Power switch on the rear of the unit and then the power button
on the front of the unit.
You can now switch between the inputs using the input selections buttons on the front of the
unit or by using the corresponding buttons on the supplied IR remote control. To enter the On
Screen Display (OSD) press the Menu button and use the + and – buttons to navitgate the
menus, using the Enter button to make your selections.

verlassen. Dieser 8 Port Umschalter kann zwischen 8 Eingangssignalen umschalten, diese
konvertieren und skalieren und sie über 3 Ausgänge parallel ausgeben. Der Switch kann über
Web GUI, OSD, via Telnet, RS232 sowie über Tasten und IR Fernbedienung konfiguriert und
bedient werden. Um weiter entfernte Geräte (Monitore, Projektoren, Signalquellen, …)
anzuschließen kann er mit LINDY Extendern kombiniert werden.

Installation
Schließen Sie einfach Ihre AV Quellgeräte an einen der entsprechenden Eingänge des AV
Conversion Switch an und verbinden Sie die Ausgänge mit Ihren Anzeigegeräten.
Der VGA-Ausgang des AV Conversion Switch kann auch mit Component-Video-Displays mit
dem mitgelieferten VGA/RGB Adapter-Kabel verwendet werden.
Schließen Sie das Netzteil an, schalten Sie den Netzschalter auf der Rückseite des Gerätes ein
und drücken Sie dann die Power-Taste an der Vorderseite des Gerätes.
Mit den Auswahl-Tasten auf der Vorderseite des Gerätes oder mit der IR-Fernbedienung kann
zwischen den Eingängen gewechselt werden.
Drücken Sie die Menütaste um in das On Screen Display (OSD) zu gelangen und verwenden
die + und – Tasten zum Navigieren durch die Menüs sowie die Enter-Taste um Ihre Auswahl zu
aktivieren.

Installation
Pour débuter l’utilisation du commutateur, connectez simplement vos appareils sources
audio/vidéo aux ports correspondant en entrée du switch en utilisant des câbles standard
mâle/mâle, connectez ensuite les sorties du switch à vos équipements d’affichages en utilisant
également les câbles mâle/mâle standard requis. La sortie VGA du switch peut aussi être
utilisée avec un écran en vidéo composante en utilisant le câble adaptateur VGA/RGB fourni.
Une fois toutes les sources et affichages connectés, branches l’alimentation et mettez le
commutateur sous tension grâce à l’interrupteur situé à l’arrière du boîtier puis le bouton de
mise en route à l’avant de l’appareil.
Vous pouvez à présent commuter les entrées, en utilisant les boutons de sélection à l’avant du
boîtier ou en utilisant les boutons corresponant sur la télécommande IR fournie. Pour entrer
dans le menu On Screen Display (OSD), appuyez sur le bouton Menu et utilisez les boutons +
et – pour naviguer dans les menus, utilisez le bouton Enter pour appliquer la sélection.

Introduzione
Vi ringraziamo per aver acquistato questo Switch LINDY con convertitore AV integrato dotato di
ben 8 ingressi AV che possono essere trasformati e scalati per ottenere una risoluzione Full HD
1080p distribuita su 3 uscite. Queste caratteristiche ne fanno lo strumento ideale da installare
in qualsiasi sala conferenze, aula di lettura o auditorium. E’ possibile configurare questo
dispositivo tramite porta RS-232, Telnet, Web GUI e IR rendendone immediata l’integrazione
anche in installazioni esistenti complesse. Per aumentarne la flessibilità è possibile associare
questo prodotto ad uno dei numerosi extender AV LINDY per raggiungere display installati
anche a grandi distanza dalle sorgenti.

Installazione
Per iniziare ad utilizzare lo Switch semplicemente connettete le vostre sorgenti AV alle porte in
ingresso (input) del dispositivo utilizzando dei cavi standard maschio/maschio. Collegate poi le
porte in uscita (Output) dello switch sempre utilizzando cavi standard maschio adatti. L’uscita
VGA dello Switch può essere utilizzata con display Video component utilizzando l’adattatore
VGA/RGB fornito a corredo. Una volta che tutte le sorgenti e monitor sono connessi collegate
l’alimentatore e accendete lo switch con l’interruttore presente sul retro dello switch stesso e il
pulsante “Power” sul pannello frontale. Ora potrete commutare fra le varie sorgenti utilizzando i
pulsanti sul pannello frontale dello switch o le repliche degli stessi presenti sul telecomando IR.
Per entrare nel menù OSD (On Screen Display) premete il pulsante “Menu” ed utilizzate “+” e “–
“ per navigare fra le voci ed “Enter” per efffettuare le vostre selezioni.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste
electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and
electronic equipment. Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly
different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic
products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.

Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling
von Elektro- und Elektronikprodukten geschaffen. Diese wurden im Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz
