2 General information
2.1 Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this Bright Lux
(hereafter referred to as the “product”), and
contains important information on setup and
handling.
Before using the product, read the user manual
carefully. This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure
to do so may result in personal injury or damage to the product.
The user manual is based on the standards and rules in force in
the European Union and United Kingdom. When abroad, you
must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws. Store
the user manual for further use. Make sure to include this user
manual when passing the product on to third parties.
2.2 Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual,
on the product or packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard with moderate risk,
which may result in death or severe injury if not avoided.
NOTICE!
This signal word warns of possible damage to property.
This signal symbol provides you with useful additional
information on handling and use.

3 Safety
3.1 Proper use
The product is exclusively designed for facial cleansing and skin
improvement with LED light technology, Infrared and cooling. It
is only intended for private use and not suitable for commercial
purposes.
Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other
use is considered improper and may result in damage to property
or persons. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damages
or injury incurred through improper or incorrect use.
3.2 Safety instructions
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Only use the product with the supplied USB
cable.
Only connect the USB cable of the product
to a suitable mains adaptor (IEC/EN 60335
certified SELV power supply) connected to
an easily accessible socket so that you can

EN quickly disconnect it from the mains supply
in the event of a problem.
Do not use the product if it is damaged or if
the USB cable is defective.
Do not open the housing; instead, have
a qualified professional perform repairs.
Contact the customer service team for this.
Liability and warranty claims are waived in
the event of repairs performed by the user,
improper connection or incorrect operation.
Only parts that comply with the original
device data may be used for repairs. This
product contains electrical and mechanical
parts which are essential for providing
protection against sources of danger.
Do not immerse the USB cable in water or
other liquids. Keep it away from water.
Make sure the charging port is dry before
charging.
Always switch the product o when you are
not using it, when you intend to clean it, or
in the event of a malfunction. Always unplug
the USB cable when you are not charging
the product.
Never touch the USB cable with wet or
damp hands.
Never insert any objects into the housing.
Keep all parts of the product away from
open flames and hot surfaces.

Lay the USB cable so that it does not pose a
tripping hazard.
Do not pull the USB cable out of the mains
adaptor by the cord; instead, always pull it
out by the cable plug.
Do not kink the USB cable and do not lay it
over sharp edges.
Only charge the product at temperatures
between 0 and 40 °C.
Only use the product indoors.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
The product can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the product in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the product.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
performed by children.
Keep children under the age of 8 away from
the product and USB cable.
The product cannot be used by pregnant
women, children, people with epilepsy,
thyroid patients, people using thyroid
medications, people who are photoallergic
or use light allergy medication.
Do not use the product on the eye lids,

EN inside the eye orbits, around areas that
contain inflammatory acne, or areas that
have rashes or wounds.
The product cannot be used on skin
diseases, wound ulceration, trauma and
post-operative wounds.
Do not focus the product on one spot on
your skin during use.
Consult your physician if you are uncertain
whether you can use the product.
Stop using the product immediately if you
feel any discomfort, develop any abnormal
reactions (such as itching or uncomfortable
inflammation) or in case your skin becomes
warm to the point of discomfort.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be
ejected from the battery; avoid contact.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
If battery fluid comes into contact with skin,
eyes or mucous membrane, wash and rinse
the aected areas immediately with clean
water. Consult a physician if necessary.
The batteries must not be disassembled,
short-circuited or thrown into a fire.
NOTICE! RISK OF DAMAGE!
Do not use clay-based, silicone-based or
grainy cleansers, exfoliators or scrubs with

the product as they may damage the soft
silicone touch-points of the product.
Avoid leaving the product in direct sunlight
and never expose it to extreme heat or
boiling water.
Clean the product after each use to avoid
the accumulation of grease and residues of
face wash products.
Stop using the product if its parts exhibit
cracks or breaks or are deformed. Only
replace damaged parts with corresponding
original spare parts.
Do not operate the product if it has been
dropped or is damaged in any way. Have
the product checked and/or repaired by
qualified technicians if necessary.
4 Checking the product and package
contents
NOTICE! RISK OF DAMAGE!
If you are not cautious when opening the
packaging with a sharp knife or other pointed
objects, you may quickly damage the product.
Be very careful when opening it.
1. Take the product out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the product or individual parts are damaged. If
this is the case, do not use the product. Contact our customer
service.

EN 5 Charging
Fully charge the product before first use and when the
battery power is low.
When the battery power is low, the product emits
2beep sounds and the cleansing button flashes 10times
before switching o automatically. Recharge the product.
The product cannot be used during charging.
If the product is to be stored for an extended period,
the battery level should be checked and the product
should be charged regularly.
1. Plug the smaller end of the USB cable 10 into the charging
port 9 of the product.
2. Plug the larger end of the USB cable into the USB port of a
compatible USB power source (e.g. USB power adaptor).
3. Plug the USB power adaptor into a mains socket for charging.
Charging starts automatically. The cleansing button ( ) 3
flashes white during charging and stays lit when charging is done.
4. When charging is done, unplug the USB power adaptor from
the mains socket and disconnect the USB cable from the
charging port of the product.
6 Facial cleansing
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Do not use the facial brush for more than
2minutes per cleansing session and more
than 2times per day.
6.1 Tips on facial cleansing
Clean the facial brush 1 before first use as described in the
chapter “Cleaning.
Before cleansing an area of the face for the first time, perform
a skin sensitivity test on a spot. Start your cleansing session
only if there is no adverse reaction.
The facial brush is equipped with 2 operation modes: vibrating
mode and pulsating mode. The vibrating mode uses uniform
vibrations for deep, gentle cleansing. The pulsating mode uses
alternating strong and weak vibrations for a massage-like
soothing eect. There are also 7 speed settings for each mode.

6.2 Switching on/o and selecting an operation mode
1. Press the cleansing button ( ) 3 once.
The facial brush 1 is switched on in the vibrating mode.
The cleansing button illuminates white during operation.
2. Press the cleansing button ( ) a second time.
The device is switched to the pulsating mode.
3. Press the cleansing button ( ) a third time.
The device is switched o.
6.3 Selecting a speed setting
In the selected operation mode (vibrating or pulsating), press
the increase button (+) 2 or decrease button (–) 4 to
select a speed setting (1–7). The default level is 4.
6.4 How to use
1. Dampen your face and the facial brush 1 with lukewarm
water. Apply your regular face wash product on your face (see
step 1 in Fig. B).
2. Switch on the facial brush, select the vibrating mode and a
speed setting (see instructions in the previous chapters).
3. Clean your face by moving the facial brush over the face in
circular movements (see step 2 in Fig. B).
Use the thicker studs for areas that need precise cleansing (e.g.
around the nose, eyes and chin) and use the thinner studs for
the larger areas (e.g. forehead, cheeks and neck). We recom-
mend cleansing each area for no more than 20 seconds.
Once the facial brush starts, you hear a beep sound every
30seconds, hinting to you about the time that has passed. The
device automatically switches o after 2 minutes.
Note that whenever you change the operation mode or speed
setting during the cleansing session, the timer will be reset to
zero.
If you want to end the cleansing session earlier, press and hold
the cleansing button ( ) 3 until the facial brush switches off.
4. Thoroughly rinse your face and the facial brush with water and
then wipe them dry with a clean, dry towel (see step 3 in
Fig. B).
5. Apply your serum or day/night cream on your face.
6. Turn on the facial brush and select the pulsating mode and a
speed setting (see instructions in the previous chapters).

EN 7. Massage the face by moving the facial brush over the face
in circular movements to stimulate blood circulation and
promote the absorption of your skin care product (see step 4
in Fig. B).
The facial brush automatically switches o after 2 minutes.
If you want to end the cleansing session earlier, press and hold
the cleansing button ( ) until the facial brush switches off.
8. Thoroughly clean the facial brush after use (see chapter
“Cleaning”).
7 LED light, Infrared and cooling mode
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Do not use the LED light + Infrared surface
and cooling surface for more than 15minutes
per LED session.
7.1 Tips on LED light, Infrared and cooling mode
Clean the LED light + Infrared surface 5 and the cooling
surface 6 before first use as described in the chapter
“Cleaning”.
The LED light + Infrared surface is designed to recover your
skin’s glow and elasticity. You may also select the cooling mode,
which helps to reduce puy eyes for a brighter appearance.
For skin improvement, you can choose from 5 modes with
various benefits:

imperfections to improve the skin’s vitality
and radiance

7.2 Switching on/o and selecting an LED mode
1. Press the LED button ( ) 8 once.
The LED light + Infrared surface 5 is switched on in the red
LED mode.
2. Press the LED button ( ) a second time.
The device is switched to the blue LED mode.
3. Press the LED button ( ) a third time.
The device is switched to the yellow LED mode.
4. Press the LED button ( ) a fourth time.
The device is switched to the purple LED mode.
5. Press the LED button ( ) a fifth time.
The device is switched to the red LED + cooling mode.
In this mode, the LED light + Infrared surface illuminates red
and the cooling surface 6 cools down to around 6 °C. The
cooling mode indicator light 7 also turns on.
6. Press the LED button ( ) a sixth time.
The device is switched o.
Tip: You can directly select the red LED + cooling mode without
pressing the LED button several times. To do so, press and hold
the LED button ( ) in any LED mode until the red LED + cooling
mode is activated.
7.3 How to use
1. Thoroughly clean and dry your face. Make sure it is free from
any make-up or dirt.
2. Turn on the LED light + Infrared surface 5 and select an LED
mode (see instructions in the previous chapter).
3. Move the LED light + Infrared surface over your face in
circular movements.
Once the LED light + Infrared surface starts, you hear a beep
sound every 30 seconds, hinting to you about the time that has
passed. The device automatically switches o after 10minutes
(in any LED mode) or 2 minutes (red LED + cooling mode).
Note that whenever you change the mode during the LED
session, the timer will be reset to zero.

EN If you want to end the LED session earlier, press the LED
button ( ) 8 repeatedly until the device switches off.
4. After the LED session, apply a serum and/or day/night cream
on your face.
7.4 Regimen
If you are using the LED light + Infrared surface 5 for the first
time, follow the schedule below:
First week Use once every 3 days, max. 10 minutes at a time
Second week Use once every 2 days, max. 10 minutes at a time
Third week Use once every 2 days, max. 10–15 minutes at
a time
Fourth week Use once every day, max. 10–15 minutes at a
time
As soon as results show, adjust the frequency to once or twice
per week.
8 Travel lock
Press and hold the increase button (+) 2 and decrease
button (–) 4 at the same time until you hear 2 beep sounds.
The buttons are now locked to prevent accidental activation
during travel.
Repeat the step above to unlock the buttons.
9 Cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Always unplug the product from the power
source before cleaning.
NOTICE! RISK OF DAMAGE!
Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes
with metal bristles, or sharp or metallic
cleaning utensils such as knives, hard
scrapers, and the like.

Do not use hot water for cleaning.
1. Clean the product with lukewarm water and soap.
2. Thoroughly rinse the product with water after cleaning and
wipe it dry with a dry cloth.
10 Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
Store the product in a clean and dry place, avoiding heat and
direct sunlight.
Store the product so that it is not accessible to children.
11 Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix
yourself. To do so, follow the instructions in the following table.
If it is still not possible to resolve the problem, contact customer
service. Do not repair the product yourself.

13 Disposal
13.1 Disposing of the packaging
Sort the packaging before you dispose of it.
Dispose of paperboard and cardboard with the
recycled paper service and wrappings with the
appropriate collection service.
13.2 Disposing of the product
(Applicable in the European Union and other European countries
with separate collection systems of recyclable materials)
Old appliances may not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Should the product no longer be capable of being used
at some point in time, dispose of it in accordance
with the regulations in force in your city or
county. This ensures that old appliances are recycled
in a professional manner and also rules out negative
consequences for the environment. For this reason, electrical
equipment is marked with the symbol shown here.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of with household waste!
As the end user you are required by law to bring all
batteries and rechargeable batteries, regardless
whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to a
collection point run by the communal authority or to
a retailer, so that they can be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Bring the entire product (including the rechargeable battery) to
your collection point and make sure that it is in an uncharged
state!

14 Warranty
This product is covered by a 2-year warranty according to
European regulations and law. The extent of the warranty on this
product is limited to technical defects caused by faulty production
processes. In the event you want to claim warranty please be

be able to solve your problem without needing to return the
product to the store or our service center. Our customer service
is always pleased to help you!
