! Keep this instruction booklet on hand in order to refer to it when necessary. Take it with you when you move, and

should you sell this appliance or pass it on to another party, make sure that this booklet is supplied along with the

dryer so that the new owner may be informed about warnings and suggestions on how the appliance works.

Installation

Where to put your dryer

●

Place your dryer at a distance from gas ranges,

stoves, heaters, or cook tops because flames can

damage the appliance.

●

If you are going to install

the appliance under a work

counter, be sure to leave a

10mm space between the

top and any other objects

on or above the machine and

a 15mm space between the

sides and lateral furnishings

or walls. This is to ensure

proper air circulation. Make sure that the back vents

are not obstructed.

Ventilation

When the dryer is in use, there has to be adequate

ventilation. Make sure you put your dryer in an

environment that is not damp and has proper air

circulation throughout. Airflow around the dryer is

essential to condense the water produced during the

washing, the dryer will not operate efficiently in an

enclosed space or cupboard.

! We do not recommend that the dryer is installed in a

cupboard but the dryer must never be installed

behind a lockable door, a sliding door or a door with a

hinge on the opposite side to that of the dryer door.

! If using the dryer in a small or cold room some

condensation could be experienced.

Door Reversal Instructions

The door of your dryer is reversible and can easily be

changed. Exchange diagonally hinge brackets and

blanking screws. Exchange door latch and catch with

their opposite blanking plates (see diagram above).

Water drain

If your dryer is installed next to a drain the water can be

plumbed into this drain. This does away with the need to

empty the water container. If the dryer is stacked onto or

installed next to a washing machine it can share the same

drain. The height of the drain must be less than 3' (1m)

from the bottom of the dryer.

Remove the existing clip and hose

from position shown (see diagram).

Fit a suitable length of hose to the

new location shown (see diagram)

and refit clip.

! Make sure that the hose is not squashed or kinked when

the dryer is in its final location.

Electrical connections

Make sure of the following before you insert the plug

into the the electrical socket:

●

The socket must be grounded.

●

The socket must be able to sustain the machines

maximum power, which is indicated on the rating

label (see Dryer Description).

●

Power voltage must be within the values indicated

on the rating label (see Dryer Description).

●

The socket must be compatible with the dryers plug.

Should this not be the case, replace the plug or the

socket.

! The dryer must not be installed outdoors, even if the

space is sheltered. It can be very dangerous if it is

exposed to rain or storms.

! Once installed, the dryers electrical wire and plug

must be within easy reach.

! Do not use extension cords.

! The power cord must not be bent or squashed.

! The power cord supplied should be checked

periodically and replaced by a cord specially prepared

for this dryer and fitted only by authorised technicians

(see Service). New or longer power cords are supplied

at an extra charge by authorised dealers.

! The manufacturer denies any responsibility should any

of these rules not be followed.

! If in doubt about any of the above consult a qualified

electrician.

Before you start using your dryer

Once you have installed your dryer and before you

use it, clean the inside of the drum to remove any dust

that could have accumulated during transport.

Dryer Description

Note: If the water container fills the indicator lights,

the heat is turned off and your laundry will not dry.

The On/Off indicator light signals that your dryer

is in use or ready to select a programme. If this light

flashes it indicates there is a fault (see Troubleshooting).

The ON/OFF button : If the dryer is running and

this button is pressed, the dryer stops. Press again,

the dryer restarts.

The Progress or Delay lights show you the status of

the programme, or the delay time when they flash.

During a delayed start the lights will flash to show the

delay selected. When (not flashing) they show each

stage of the programme by the corresponding light

turning on (see Start and Programmes).

The PROGRAMMES knob sets the programme: rotate

it until the indicator is pointing to the programme you want

to select (see Start and Programmes).

The START/CANCEL button starts a selected

programme. When you press this button there will be

one beep and the progress lights will flash to confirm

the action. If you have not set a programme, the buzzer

will beep four times. When a programme is running,

holding this button in cancels the programme and stops

the dryer (see Start and Programmes).

The OPTION buttons/lights select available options for

your selected programme (see Start and

Programmes). The lights indicate that the option has

been selected.

The Programmes Guide allows you to consult a user

friendly table of the available programmes.

The Empty Water light signals that the water

container should be emptied. When it is flashing it

indicates that the container is full.

The light will take a few seconds to go out after

replacing the empty container, the dryer must be

running for this to happen (see The Controls).

Start and Programmes

Choosing a programme

1. Plug the dryer into the electrical socket.

2. Sort your laundry according to fabric type (see

Laundry).

3. Open the door and make sure the filter is clean

and in place and the water container is empty

and in place (see Maintenance).

4. Load the machine and make sure items are not

in the way of the door seal. Close the door.

5. If the On/Off light is not lit: Press the ON/OFF

button .

6. Choose a programme by checking the Programmes

Guide (see Programmes) as well as the indications

for each type of fabric (see Laundry).

- Select a programme by rotating the

PROGRAMMES knob.

7. Set a delay time and other options if necessary.

8. If you wish to select the buzzer sound, at the end

of the progamme, press the ALARM Option button.

9. Press the START button to begin.

During the drying programme, you can check on

your laundry and take out items that are dry

while others continue drying. When you close

the door again, press the START button in order

to resume drying.

10. During the last few minutes of Drying

Programmes, before the programme is

completed, the final COOL TUMBLE phase is

entered (fabrics are cooled), this phase should

always be allowed to complete.

11. When the programme is complete. The buzzer

will sound, if this option selected.

Open the door, take the laundry out, clean the filter

and replace it. Empty the water container

and replace it (see Maintenance).

If you do not take out the laundry immediately,

the dryer will tumble occasionally for 10 hours

or until you open the door.

12. Unplug the dryer.

Easy Iron Programme

‘Easy Iron’ is a short 10 minute programme (8 minutes of heat followed by a 2 minute cool tumble period) which

fluffs the fibres of clothing that have been left in the same position/location for an extended period of time. The cycle

relaxes the fibres and makes them easier to iron and fold.

! ‘Easy Iron’ is not a drying programme and should not be used for wet articles of clothing.

For best results:

1. Do not load more than the maximum capacity. These numbers refer to the dry weight:

2. Unload the dryer immediately after the end of the programme, hang, fold or iron the articles and put

them away in the closet. Should this not be possible repeat the programme.

The ‘Easy Iron’ effect varies from one fabric to the next. It works well on traditional fabrics like Cotton or Cotton mix,

and less well on acrylic fibres and on materials such as Tencel®.

Special sports

●

This is a programme for tumble dryer safe garments, such as Tracksuits and Shorts marked with the symbol .

●

It can be used for load sizes up to 1.5kg

●

We recommend that garments are turned inside out before drying.

●

This programme will take up to 130 minutes. The actual time will vary depending on the size and density of the

load and the spin speed used in your washer.

●

Loads dried using this programme are usually ready to wear, but on some heavier garments the edges may be

slightly damp.

Special shoes

●

This is a programme to dry one pair of sports shoes sized 37-46 (4-11).

●

The shoes must have been washed and spun at a minimum spin speed of 400rpm.

●

They must be used with the shoe rack provided. If you tumble shoes in the drum

you will damage your dryer.

●

Remove the filter from its position in the front of the dryer and fit the rack.

●

Tuck the laces inside the shoes and load shoes with toes down and soles facing you.

●

Drying times will vary dependant on the size and style of shoe. If shoes are not

completely dry at the end of the programme, run the programme again.

! Do not dry shoes with Gel inserts or flashing lights.

! Only dry shoes made from Synthetics or Canvas materials.

! When finished remove shoe rack and replace the filter.

Alarm

Available on all programmes and allows the buzzer to

give a signal at the end of the drying cycle, to remind

you that the clothes are ready to be removed.

Press the button and the light will show that the option

is selected.

Post Creasecare

The clothes are occasionally tumbled after the end of

the drying and cool tumble cycles, to help prevent

creases developing should you not be available to

remove the load immediately the programme is complete.

Empty Water Light / Container

(If you have plumbed your dryer to a drain this light

can be ignored, as there is no need to empty the water

container).

When this light is on (not flashing) it reminds you to

empty the water container.

If the water container fills during a programme, the

heater turns off and the dryer does a period of Cool

Tumble then the light flashes and the buzzer sounds.

After this it stops and all 3 progress lights and the 3hr

delay light come on and the empty water light flashes.

You must empty the water container and restart the

dryer or the clothes will not dry. After re-starting the

dryer, the light will take a few seconds to go out.

To avoid this always empty the water container each

time you use the dryer (see Maintenance).

●

Door Opening

Opening the door during a programme will stop the

dryer and have the following effects:

●

All 3 progress lights abd the 3hr delay light come

on.

●

During a delay phase the delay will continue to

count down. The start button must be pressed to

resume the delay programme.

One of the delay lights will flash to show the

current delay setting.

●

The start button must be pressed to resume the

programme. The progress lights will change to

show the current status.

●

During the cool tumble or post creasecare phase

of a drying programme and anytime during an

Airing or Cool Tumble programme, the programme

will finish. Pressing the start button will re-start a

new programme at the beginning.

●

Changing the programmes knob will select a new

programme, after you press the start button. You

can use this to select the Cool Tumble programme

to cool the clothes, if you find them dry enough.

●

Note

If you have a power cut, switch off the power or

remove the plug, press the START button and the

programme will resume.

●

PROGRAMMES knob

! Warning, if after pressing the start button, the

programmes knob position is changed, the new position

will NOT change the programme selected.

! Position 0, turning the knob to position 0 resets and

cancels a programme.

●

OPTION buttons / lights

These buttons are used to customise the selected

programme to your requirements. A programme must

have been selected on the programme knob before

an option can be selected. Not all options are available

for all programmes (see Start and Programmes). If an

option is not available and you press the button, the

buzzer will beep four times. If the option is available

there will be one beep and the option light above the

button lights to confirm the selection.

After the start button has been pressed only the Alarm

option can be changed.

Progress ( Drying, CoolTumble, Post

Creasecare) / Delay (3hr 6hr 9hr 12hr) Lights

When the light above the delay button is on, these lights

flash to indicate the delay time is selected. During other

programmes they indicate the progress of the dryer,

each one comes on as the corresponding phase starts.

Time Delay

The start of some programmes (see Start and

Programmes) can be delayed for up to 12 hours in 3hr

steps. Ensure the water bottle is emptied before setting

a delayed start.

When a delayed start is in progress the light above the

delay button will be on and the selected delay period

light will flash (after the start button has been pressed).

To set a delayed start, press the Time Delay button,

and the light above the button will come on together

with the 3hr delay light. Pressing the button again will

advance the delay setting to 6hr, the 3hr light goes

out and the 6hr light is on. Each time you press the

button the delay setting advances 3 hours, as indicated

by the corresponding light. If the 12hr light is on,

pressing the button again will cancel the delay.

You can also cancel the delay by turning the programmes

knob to 0, wait for the buzzer to beep and then turn

back to your selected programme.

Pre Creasecare

When a delayed start has been selected, the clothes

are tumbled occasionally during the delayed period to

help prevent creases developing.

High Heat

When available this button selects high heat. Press this

button and a high heat setting is selected and the light

above the button comes on. Timed programmes have

a default of low heat, if the light alongside the button is

on then pressing the button selects a low heat setting

and the light goes out.

Check symbols on clothing labels to make sure

that the articles can be tumble dried.

●

Sort laundry by fabric type.

●

Empty pockets and check buttons.

●

Close zippers and hooks and tie loose belts and

strings.

●

Wring out each item in order to eliminate as much

excess water as possible.

! Do not load dripping wet clothes into the dryer.

Maximum load size

Do not load more than maximum capacity.

These numbers refer to dry weight:

! DO NOT overload the dryer as this could result in

reduced drying performance.

At the end of a drying cycle, cottons could still be

damp if you grouped cottons and synthetics together.

If this happens simply give them an additional short

period of drying.

●

Note: The last 10 minutes of any time set is the

Cool Tumble, so allow for this when setting the time,

as this period will not dry your laundry.

Wash Care Labels

Look at the labels on your garments, especially when

tumble drying for the first time. The following symbols

are the most common:

Articles that containing rubber or rubber-like

materials or plastic film (pillows, cushions, or PVC

rainwear), any other flammable articles or objects

that contain flammable substances (towels soiled

with hair spray).

●

Glass fibres (certain types of draperies)

●

Items which have been dry cleaned

●

Items with the ITCL Code (see Special

clothing items). These can be cleaned with special

at-home dry cleaning products. Follow instructions

carefully.

●

Large bulky items (quilts, sleeping bags, pillows,

cushions, large bedspreads etc). These expand

when drying and would prevent airflow through

the dryer.

Laundry

Special clothing items

Blankets and Bedspreads: acrylic items (Acilan,

Courtelle, Orion, Dralon) must be dried with special

care on LOW heat setting. Avoid drying for a long

period of time.

Pleated or creased garments: read the manufacturer’s

drying instructions on the garment.

Starched articles: do not dry these with non-starched

items. Make sure that as much of the starch solution is

removed from the load as possible before placing it in

the dryer. Do not over-dry: the starch will become

powdery and leave your clothing limp, which defeats

the purpose of starch.

Drying times

The table below presents APPROXIMATE drying times

in minutes. Weights refer to dry garments:

Times are approximate and can vary depending

upon:

●

Amount of water retained in clothes after spin

cycle: towels and delicates retain a lot of water.

●

Fabrics: items that are the same type of fabric but

different textures and thicknesses may not have

the same drying time.

●

Quantity of laundry: single items or small loads

may take longer to dry.

●

Dryness: If you are going to iron some of your

clothes, they can be taken out while still a bit

damp. Others can be left longer if you need them

to be completely dry.

●

Heat setting.

●

Room temperature: if the room where the dryer is

located is cold, it will take longer for the dryer to

dry your clothes.

●

Bulk: some bulky items can be tumble dried with

care. We suggest that you remove these items

several times, shake them out, and return them to

the dryer until finished.

! Do not over-dry your clothes.

All fabrics contain a little natural moisture, which

keeps them soft and fluffy.

Warnings and Suggestions

! The appliance has been designed and built according

to international safety standards.

These warnings are given for safety reasons and must

be followed carefully.

General safety

●

This tumble dryer is not intended for use by

persons (including children) with reduced physical,

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience

and knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

●

This tumble dryer has been designed for home,

and not professional use.

●

Do not touch the appliance while barefoot or with

wet hands or feet.

●

Unplug the machine by pulling on the plug, not

the cord.

●

Children must not be in proximity of the dryer

when in use. After using the dryer, turn it off and

unplug it. Keep the door closed to make sure that

children do not use it as a toy.

●

Children should be supervised to ensure that they

do not play with the dryer.

●

The appliance must be installed correctly and

have proper ventilation. The air intake at the front

of the dryer and rear vent behind the dryer should

never be obstructed (see Installation).

●

Never use the dryer on carpeting where the pile

height would prevent air from entering the dryer

from the base.

●

Check to see if the dryer is empty before loading it.

●

The back of the dryer could become very

hot. Never touch it while in use.

●

Do not use the dryer unless the filter, water

container and condenser are securely in place

(see Maintenance).

●

Do not use liquid fabric softeners in the dryer, add

it to the final rinse of your wash.

●

Do not overload the dryer (see Laundry for

maximum loads).

●

Do not load items that are dripping wet.

●

Tumble dry items only if they have been washed

with detergent and water, rinsed and been through

the spin cycle. It is a fire hazard to dry items that

HAVE NOT been washed with water.

●

Carefully check all instructions on clothing labels

(see Laundry).

●

Do not dry garments that have been treated with

chemical products.

●

Never dry articles that are contaminated with

flammable substances (cooking oil, acetone, alcohol,

petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes,

wax removers and hair sprays), unless washed in

hot water with an extra amount of detergent.

●

Do not tumble dry rubber, rubber backed articles and

clothes, pillows fitted with foam rubber pads, foam

(latex foam), rubber, plastic, shower caps, waterproof

textiles, nappy pants or liners, polythene or paper.

●

Do not tumble dry large, very bulky items.

●

Do not tumble dry acrylic fibres at high temperatures.

●

Remove all objects from pockets, especially

lighters (risk of explosion).

●

Complete each programme with its Cool Tumble Phase.

●

Do not turn off the dryer when there are still warm

items inside.

●

Clean the filter after each use (see Maintenance).

●

Empty the water container after each use (see

Maintenance).

●

Clean the condenser unit at regular intervals

(see Maintenance).

●

Do not allow lint to collect around the dryer.

●

Never climb on top of the dryer. It could result in damage.

●

Always follow electrical standards and requirements

(see Installation).

●

Always buy original spare parts and accessories

(see Service).

! WARNING: Never stop the dryer before the end of the

drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and

spread out so that the heat is dissipated.

Recycling and disposal information

As part of our continued commitment to helping the

environment, we reserve the right to use quality recycled

components to keep down customer costs and minimise

material wastage.

●

Disposing of the packaging material: follow local

regulations, so the packaging can be recycled.

●

To minimise risk of injury to children, remove the

door and plug - then cut off mains cable, flush

with the appliance. Dispose of these parts separately

to ensure that the appliance can no longer be

plugged into a mains socket.

Disposal of old electrical appliances

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical

and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old

household electrical appliances must not be disposed

of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old

appliances must be collected separately in order to

optimise the recovery and recycling of the materials

they contain and reduce the impact on human health

and the environment.

The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on

the product reminds you of your obligation,

that when you dispose of the appliance it

must be separately collected.

Consumers should contact their local authority or

retailer for information concerning the correct disposal

of their old appliance.

Saving energy and respecting the

environment

●

Wring out items to eliminate excess water before

tumble drying (if you use a washing machine first,

select a high spin cycle). Doing this will save time

and energy during drying.

●

Always dry full loads - you save energy: single

items or small loads take longer to dry.

●

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning the drum

! Do not use abrasives, steel wool or stainless steel

cleaning agents to clean the drum.

A coloured film may start to appear on the stainless

steel drum, this may be caused by a combination of

water and, or cleaning agents such as fabric conditioner

from the wash. This coloured film will not affect the

dryer performance.

Cleaning the condenser unit

Periodically (every month) remove the condenser unit

and clean any build up of fluff from between the plates

by rinsing it under the tap with cold water.

This should be done with cold water from the rear of

the condenser.

Removing the condenser:

1. Unplug the dryer and open the door.

2. Pull open the condenser cover (see diagram).

Release the three catches by turning 90˚ counter-

clockwise then pull on the grip and remove from

the dryer.

3. Clean the surface of the seals and replace, making

sure that the catches have been secured.

Cleaning the dryer

●

External parts in metal or plastic and rubber parts

can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

●

Periodically (every 6 months) vacuum the front air

intake grille and vents at the rear of the dryer, to

remove any build up of fluff, lint or dust. Also to

remove accumulation of fluff from the front of the

condenser and filter areas, clean occasionally with

a vacuum cleaner.

! Do not use solvents or abrasives.

! Your dryer uses special bearing components which

do not need lubrication.

! Have your dryer checked regularly by authorised

technicians to ensure electrical and mechanical safety

(see Service).

Switching off the electricity

! Unplug your dryer when not using it, when cleaning

it and during all maintenance operations.

Clean the filter after each cycle

The filter is an important part of your dryer:

it accumulates lint and fluff that is formed while drying.

When finished drying, clean the filter by rinsing it

under running water or with your vacuum cleaner.

Should the filter become clogged up, the airflow inside

the dryer will be seriously compromised: drying times

lengthen and you will consume more energy. It may

also damage your dryer.

The filter is found in front of the dryer trim (see diagram).

Removing the filter:

1. Pull the plastic grip of the filter upwards (see diagram).

2. Clean the filter and replace it correctly.

Ensure the filter is fully located flush into the tumble

dryer trim.

! Do not use the dryer without replacing the filter.

Empty the water container after each

cycle

Pull the container out of the dryer and empty it into a

sink or other suitable drain.

Replace the water container securely.

Always check and empty the container before you

start a new drying programme.

Check the drum after each cycle

Turn the drum manually in order to remove small items

(handkerchiefs) that could have been left behind.

Problem:

The tumble dryer won’t start.

The plug is not plugged into the socket, or not making contact.

●

There has been a power failure.

●

The fuse has blown. Try to plug another appliance into the socket.

●

You are using an extension cord? Try to plug the dryer’s power cord

directly into the socket.

●

The door is not closed securely?

●

The PROGRAMMES knob has not been set properly (see Start and

Programmes).

●

The START button has not been pressed (see Start and Programmes).

●

You have set a delayed time (see Start and Programmes).

●

The filter has not been cleaned (see Maintenance).

●

The water container needs emptying? The empty water light is flashing?

(see Maintenance).

●

The condenser needs cleaning? (see Maintenance).

●

The temperature setting is not ideal for the type of fabric you are drying

(see Start and Programmes, and see Laundry).

●

The correct drying time has not been selected for the load (see Laundry).

●

The air intake grille or rear vents are obstructed (see Installation, and see

Maintenance).

●

The items were too wet (see Laundry).

●

The dryer was overloaded (see Laundry).

●

The water container was probably not emptied at the start of the programme.

Do not wait for the empty water signal, always check and empty the

container before starting a new drying programme (see Maintenance).

●

This is normal, the light flashes when the container is full. If the light is on

but not flashing it is just a reminder to empty the container (see Start and

Programmes).

●

If the ON/OFF light flashes together with the Time Delay and High Heat

lights; Or the ON/OFF light flashes together with the Time Delay, Alarm,

High Heat and Empty Water lights, then:

- Turn off and remove the plug. Clean the filter and the condenser

(see Maintenance). Then replace the plug, turn on and start another

programme. If the same combination of lights still flash contact the

Service Centre (see Service).

●

If any other combination of lights flash: Note down the other lights that

are flashing and contact the Service Centre (see Service).

! For safety the dryer has a maximum programme time of 3 hours. If an

automatic programme has not sensed the required final moisture in this time

the dryer will complete the programme and stop. Check the above points

and run the programme again, if the results are still damp, contact the

Service Centre (see Service).

One day your dryer seems not to be working. Before you call your Service Centre (see Service), go through the

following troubleshooting suggestions:

or having a non-authorised person try to repair it could

cause harm to one or more persons, could damage

the machine and could invalidate the spare parts

warranty.

Call an authorised technician if you experience problems

while using the machine.

Installazione

Dove installare l’asciugatrice

●

Le fiamme possono danneggiare l’asciugatrice che

deve pertanto essere installata lontano da cucine a

gas, stufe, termosifoni o piani di cottura.

●

Se l’elettrodomestico verrà

installato sotto un banco da

lavoro, è necessario lasciare

uno spazio vuoto di almeno

10 mm sopra il pannello

superiore dell’elettrodomestico;

i pannelli laterali dovranno

invece avere uno spazio

libero intorno di almeno 15

mm. In questo modo sarà garantita la circolazione

dell’aria. Controllare che le prese d’aria del pannello

posteriore non siano ostruite.

Aerazione

È importante che l’ambiente in cui si utilizza l’asciugatrice

sia sufficientemente aerato Assicurarsi inoltre che

l’ambiente in cui viene installata l’asciugatrice non sia

umido e che vi sia un adeguato ricambio di aria.

Garantire un adeguato flusso d’aria intorno

all’asciugatrice in modo da permettere che l’acqua

prodotta durante il lavaggio si condensi; l’asciugatrice

non funzionerà correttamente se posizionata in uno

spazio chiuso o all’interno di un mobile.

! Non è consigliabile che l’asciugatrice sia installata in un

armadio, e non deve mai essere installata dietro una porta

richiudibile a chiave, una porta scorrevole o una porta con

cerniera sul lato opposto dello sportello dell’asciugatrice.

! Se l’asciugatrice viene utilizzata in una stanza piccola

o fredda è possibile che si generi un po’ di condensa.

Istruzioni per invertire la posizione dello

sportello

Lo sportello dell’asciugatrice è reversibile ed è facile

da cambiare. Spostare diagonalmente le staffe delle

cerniere e le viti di chiusura. Invertire il dispositivo di

chiusura ed il fermo dello sportello con le piastre di

chiusura del lato opposto (vedere lo schema qui sopra).

Tubo di scarico dell’acqua

Se l’asciugatrice viene collocata vicino ad un tubo di

scarico, è possibile far defluire l’acqua al suo interno.

In questo modo si evita di dover svuotare il recipiente di

raccolta dell’acqua. Se l’asciugatrice viene posizionata

sopra o di fianco ad una lavatrice, può condividere lo

stesso scarico. L’altezza dello scarico deve essere

inferiore a (1m) dal fondo dell’asciugatrice.

Rimuovere la clip esistente e il

tubo dalla posizione indicata

(vedere schema).

Inserire un tubo di lunghezza

adeguata nel nuovo punto

indicato (vedere schema) e

reinstallare la clip.

! Assicurarsi che il tubo non sia schiacciato o attorcigliato

quando l’asciugatrice si trova nella sua posizione finale.

Collegamento elettrico

Prima di inserire la spina nella presa elettrica,

verificare che:

●

la presa sia dotata di messa a terra.

●

la presa sia in grado di supportare la potenza

massima prevista per l’asciugatrice, così come

indicata sull’etichetta che riporta le prestazioni di

esercizio (vedere la sezione Descrizione del prodotto).

●

la tensione di alimentazione sia compresa nei valori

indicati dall’etichetta che riporta le prestazioni di

esercizio (vedere la sezione Descrizione del prodotto).

●

la presa sia compatibile con il tipo di spina

dell’asciugatrice. In caso contrario, sostituire la

spina o la presa.

! L’asciugatrice non può essere installata in ambienti

all’aperto, anche se riparati. Può essere molto peri

coloso esporre questo elettrodomestico alla pioggia o a

un temporale.

! Dopo l’installazione dell’elettrodomestico, il cavo e la

spina elettrica devono rimanere a portata di mano.

! Non utilizzare prolunghe.

! Il cavo elettrico non deve essere tagliato né calpes tato.

! Controllare regolarmente il cavo elettrico e, se

necessario, farlo sostituire solo da tecnici qualificati

che installeranno un altro cavo specifico per questo

elettrodomestico (vedere la sezione Assistenza).

Presso i rivenditori autorizzati è possibile acquistare cavi

di ricambio e cavi più lunghi di quelli montati in fabbrica.

! Il produttore declina ogni responsabilità nei casi in

cui le presenti regole non vengano rispettate.

! Se si nutrono dei dubbi a riguardo, consultare un

elettricista.

Informazioni preliminari

Una volta installata l’asciugatrice, prima di metterla in

funzione, pulire l’interno del cestello, così da rimuovere

lo sporco che può essersi accumulato durante il trasporto.

Descrizione del prodotto

Nota Bene: se il recipiente è pieno e l’indicatore

acceso, l’asciugatrice non funzionerà e i tuoi capi non

verranno asciutti.

La spia On/Off segnala che l’asciugatrice è in

funzione o pronta per selezionare un programma. Se

questa spia lampeggia indica la presenza di

un’anomalia (vedere Ricerca guasti).

Il pulsante ON/OFF : Se l’asciugatrice è in

funzione e viene premuto questo pulsante

l’asciugatrice si arresta. Premendolo nuovamente,

l’asciugatrice si riavvia.

Le spie di Progressione o Ritardo indicano lo stato

del programma o, quando lampeggiano, il tempo

impostato per la programmazione ritardata. Durante un

avvio ritardato le spie lampeggiano per indicare il

ritardo selezionato. Quando non lampeggiano indicano

ogni fase del programma all’accensione della spia

corrispondente (vedere la sezione Avvio e programmi).

La manopola PROGRAMMI consente di impostare il

programma desiderato: ruotarla fino a quando

l’indicatore si troverà sul programma che si desidera

selezionare (vedere la sezione Avvio e programmi).

Il pulsante START/CANCELLA avvia un

programma selezionato. Quando si preme questo

pulsante, verrà emesso un segnale acustico e le spie

di avanzamento lampeggeranno per confermare

l’azione. Se non si ha impostato un programma il

segnalatore acustico suonerà quattro volte. Quando un

programma è in funzione, premendo questo pulsante si

cancella il programma e si arresta l’asciugatrice

(vedere la sezione Avvio e programmi).

I pulsanti e spie OPZIONE selezionano le opzioni

disponibili per il programma selezionato (vedere la

sezione Avvio e programmi). Le spie indicano che

l’opzione è stata selezionata.

Con la Guida Programmi è possibile consultare una

semplice tabella dei programmi disponibili.

Spia luminoso Svuota acqua segnala che il

recipiente di raccolta dell’acqua deve essere svuotato.

Quando lampeggia indica che il recipiente è pieno.

L’indicatore si spegnerà alcuni secondi dopo aver

riposizionato il recipiente vuoto; perché ciò sia possibile

l’asciugatrice deve essere in funzione (vedere Comandi).

Scelta del programma

1. Inserire la spina dell’asciugatrice nella presa di

alimentazione elettrica.

2. Selezionare il bucato in base al tipo di tessuto

(vedere la sezione Bucato).

3. Premere lo sportello per aprirlo e controllare la corretta

posizione e la pulizia del filtro ed accertarsi che il

recipiente di raccolta dell’acqua sia vuoto e posizionato

correttamente (vedere la sezione Manutenzione).

4. Caricare l’elettrodomestico, facendo attenzione ad

evitare che qualche indumento possa frapporsi tra lo

sportello e la relativa guarnizione. Chiudere lo sportello.

5. Se la spia On/Off non è accesa: Premere il

pulsante ON/OFF .

6. Scegliere un programma verificando la Guida

Programmi (vedere Programmi) e anche le indicazioni

per ciascun tipo di tessuto (vedere Bucato).

- Selezionare un programma ruotando la

manopola PROGRAMMI.

7. Impostare un tempo di ritardo ed altre opzioni, se

necessario.

8. Se si desidera selezionare il segnalatore acustico, alla

fine del programma, premere il pulsante opzione ALLARME.

9. Premere il pulsante START per avviare il programma.

Durante il funzionamento, è possibile aprire lo

sportello per estrarre i capi che nel frattempo si

sono asciugati e lasciare asciugare gli altri. Dopo

aver richiuso lo sportello, è necessario ripremere

il pulsante START, per mettere nuovamente in

funzione l’asciugatrice.

10. Durante gli ultimi minuti dei programmi di

asciugatura, prima del termine del programma,

viene inserita la fase ASCIUGATURA A FREDDO

(i tessuti vengono raffreddati), questa fase deve

sempre essere attivata per terminare il ciclo.

11. Quando il programma è terminato, il segnalatore

acustico suona, se questa opzione è selezionata.

Aprire lo sportello, estrarre il bucato, pulire il filtro e

metterlo nuovamente in posizione. Svuotare il

recipiente di raccolta dell’acqua e rimetterlo al suo

posto (vedere la sezione Manutenzione).

Se non si estrae immediatamente il bucato,

l’asciugatrice funzionerà occasionalmente per 10

ore o finché non viene aperto lo sportello.

12. Scollegare l’asciugatrice dalla rete elettrica.

Programma di stiratura facile

“Stiratura facile” è un breve programma di 10 minuti (8 minuti di riscaldamento seguiti da 2 minuti di asciugatura a

freddo) che gonfia le fibre dei tessuti rimasti immobili per un lungo periodo di tempo. Il ciclo distende le fibre dei capi

in modo da agevolarne la stiratura e la piegatura.

! Questo non è un programma di asciugatura e non va quindi utilizzato con capi ancora bagnati.

Per risultati ottimali:

1. Non caricare il cestello oltre la capacità massima. I seguenti valori si riferiscono al peso degli indumenti asciutti:

2. Svuotare l’asciugatrice subito dopo la fine del programma; appendere, piegare o stirare i capi per poi

riporli nell’armadio. Se ciò non fosse possibile, ripetere il programma.

L’effetto prodotto dal programma “Stiratura facile” varia da tessuto a tessuto. I migliori effetti si ottengono su tessuti

tradizionali, quali Cotone o Misto cotone; invece, le caratteristiche di tessuti quali le fibre acriliche o il Tencel® non

consentono di ottenere gli stessi risultati.

Speciale Sport

●

Questo è un programma per asciugare in sucurrezza indumenti, come tute da ginnastica e calzoncini contrassegnati

con il simbolo .

●

Può essere usati per carichi fino ad 1.5kg

●

Consigliamo di rivoltare gli indumenti prima dell’avvio dell’asciugatura.

●

Questo programma impiegherà fino a 130 minuti. Il tempo attuale varia dalle dimensioni, dalla densità del carico e

dalla velocità di centrifuga usata nella lavatrice.

●

I carichi asciugati con questo programma sono di solito pronti da indossare, ma in alcuni indumenti più pesanti

i bordi potrebbero essere leggermente umidi.

Speciale Scarpe

●

Questo è un programma per asciugare un paio di scarpe sportive di misura da 37-46.

●

Le scarpe devono essere state lavate e centrifugate ad una velocità di centrifuga minima di 400rpm.

●

Devono essere usate con l’apposita rastrelliera per scarpe fornita. Se si asciugano scarpe

nel tamburo l’asciugatrice verrà danneggiata.

●

Rimuovere il filtro dalla sua posizione nella parte anteriore dell’asciugatrice e posizionare la rastrelliera.

●

Infilare i lacci all’interno delle scarpe e caricare le scarpe con le punte rivolte in basso e le

suole davanti.

●

I tempi di asciugatura variano dal formato e dal tipo di scarpa. Se le scarpe non sono

completamente asciutte alla fine del programma, avviare nuovamente il programma.

! Non asciugare scarpe con gel all’interno o luci lampeggianti.

! Asciugare solo scarpe fatte di materiale sintetico o tela.

! Al termine del programma rimuovere la rastrelliera per scarpe e riposizionare il filtro.

Allarme

Disponibile in tutti i programmi, con il segnalatore acustico

dà un segnale alla fine del ciclo di asciugatura, per

ricordare che gli indumenti sono pronti per essere rimossi.

Premere il pulsante e la spia indicherà che l’opzione è

selezionata.

Post Trattamento antipiega

Gli indumenti vengono asciugati occasionalmente dopo la

fine dei cicli di asciugatura e asciugatura a freddo, per

evitare la formazione di pieghe nel caso la biancheria non

venga rimossa immediatamente dopo la fine del

programma.

Spia luminoso Svuota acqua / Recipiente

(Se l’asciugatrice è stata collegata ad una tubazione di

scarico questa spia può essere ignorata, dato che non è

necessario svuotare il recipiente dell’acqua). Quando questa

spia è accesa (non lampeggiante) ricorda di svuotare il

recipiente dell’acqua. Se il recipiente si riempie nel corso di

un programma, il riscaldatore si spegne e l’asciugatrice

avvia una fase di Asciugatura ad Aria Fredda, quindi la spia

lampeggia e l’avvisatore acustico emette un suono. Dopo di

che si arresta, tutte tre le spie di progresso e la spia di

ritardo di 3 ore si accendono e la spia di svuotamento acqua

lampeggia. È necessario svuotare il recipiente dell’acqua e

riavviare l’asciugatrice, altrimenti i capi non si asciugheranno.

Dopo il riavvio dell’asciugatrice occorrerà attendere alcuni

secondi per lo spegnimento della spia. Per evitare questo

procedimento svuotare sempre il recipiente dell’acqua, ad

ogni utilizzo dell’asciugatrice

(vedere la sezione

Manutenzione).

●

Apertura Sportello

Aprendo lo sportello durante il funzionamento di un

programma, l’asciugatrice si arresterà e si avranno le

seguenti conseguenze:

●

Tutte 3 le spie di progresso e la spia di ritardo di 3 ore

si accendono.

●

Durante una fase di ritardo, il ritardo continuerà ad

essere conteggiato. Il pulsante START deve essere

premuto per ripristinare un programma di ritardo

Una delle spie di ritardo lampeggerà per indicare

l’attuale impostazione del tempo di ritardo.

●

Il pulsante di START deve essere premuto per

riprendere il programma. Le spie di progresso

andranno ad indicare lo stato attuale.

●

Durante l’asciugatura a freddo o la fase

post-trattamento antipiega di un programma di

asciugatura ed in qualsiasi momento durante i

programmi asciugatura ed asciugatura a freddo, il

programma terminerà. Premendo il pulsante START

verrà riavviato un nuovo programma dall’inizio

●

Cambiando la manopola programmi si selezionerà un

nuovo programma, dopo aver premuto il pulsante

START E’ possibile usare questa funzione per

selezionare il programma asciugatura a freddo per

raffreddare gli indumenti, se sono asciutti a sufficienza

●

Nota

In caso di interruzione di corrente, spegnere l’alimentazione

o rimuovere la presa, premere il pulsante START ed il

programma verrà ripristinato.

●

manopola PROGRAMMI

! Avvertenza, Se dopo aver premuto il pulsante START, la

posizione della manopola programmi è cambiata, la nuova

posizione NON cambierà il programma selezionato.

! Posizione 0, ruotando la manopola sulla posizione 0 si

procede al reset e alla cancellazione di un programma.

●

Pulsanti OPZIONE / spie

Questi pulsanti vengono usati per personalizzare il

programma selezionato secondo le proprie esigenze. Un

programma deve essere selezionato con la manopola

programmi prima di selezionare un’opzione. Non tutte le

opzioni sono disponibili per tutti i programmi (vedere la

sezione Avvio e programmi). Se un’opzione non è disponibile

e si preme il pulsante, il segnalatore acustico suonerà

quattro volte. Se l’opzione è disponibile, il segnale acustico

suonerà solo una volta e l’ opzione sopra alle spie dei

pulsanti si illuminerà per confermare la selezione.

Dopo aver premuto il pulsante START, è possibile cambiare

solo l’opzione Allarme.

Progressione ( Asciugatura, Asciugatura a

freddo, Post Trattamento antipiega) / Ritardo

(3 ore, 6 ore, 9 ore, 12 ore) Spie

Quando l’indicatore luminoso sopra del al pulsante di

programmazione ritardata è acceso

, queste spie

lampeggiano per indicare che è stato selezionato il tempo di

ritardo

. Durante altri programmi esse indicano la fase

dell’asciugatrice, ognuna si accende all’avvio della fase

corrispondente.

Avvio Ritardato

L’avvio di alcuni programmi (vedere la sezione Avvio e

programmi) può essere ritardato fino a 12 ore, in fasi di 3

ore. Accertarsi che il recipiente dell’acqua sia vuoto prima di

impostare un avvio ritardato.

Quando è in corso un avvio ritardato la spia sopra del al

pulsante di ritardo sarà accesa e il periodo di ritardo selezionato

lampeggerà

(dopo aver premuto il pulsante START).

Per impostare un avvio ritardato, premere il pulsante del

Tempo di Ritardo e la spia sopra del al pulsante si

accenderà insieme alla spia di ritardo di 3 ore. Premendo

nuovamente il pulsante si procederà all’aumento del ritardo

a 6 ore, la spia di 3 ore si spegnerà e si accenderà quella di

6 ore. Ogni volta che si preme il pulsante l’impostazione del

ritardo aumenterà di 3 ore, come indicato dalla spia

corrispondente. Se la spia di 12 ore è accesa, premendo

nuovamente il pulsante si cancellerà il ritardo.

È inoltre possibile cancellare il ritardo ruotando la manopola

di programmazione a 0, attendendo il suono dell’avvisatore

acustico e quindi tornando al programma selezionato.

Pre-trattamento antipiega

Una volta selezionato un avvio ritardato, i capi vengono

asciugati occasionalmente durante il periodo di ritardo, per

contribuire ad evitare la formazione di pieghe.

Temperatura Alta

Quando disponibile, questo pulsante seleziona una

temperatura alta. Premendo questo pulsante si seleziona

una temperatura alta e la spia sopra del ad esso si

accende. I programmi a tempo hanno preimpostata una

temperatura bassa; se la spia accanto al pulsante è accesa,

premendo il pulsante si seleziona un’impostazione con

temperatura bassa e la luce si spegne.

Controllo del bucato

●

Controllare i simboli riportati sulle etichette dei vari

capi, per verificare se l’indumento può essere

introdotto nell’asciugatrice.

●

Distinguere il bucato in base al tipo di tessuto.

●

Svuotare la tasche e controllare i bottoni.

●

Chiudere le lampo e i ganci e allacciare senza

stringere cinture e lacci.

●

Strizzare gli indumenti per eliminare la maggior

quantità di acqua possibile.

! Non caricare l’asciugatrice con capi totalmente pieni

d’acqua.

Dimensioni massimi di carico

Non caricare il cestello oltre la capacità massima. I seguenti

valori si riferiscono al peso degli indumenti asciutti:

Fibre naturali: massimo 7 kg

Fibre sintetiche: massimo 3 kg

! NON sovraccaricare l’asciugatrice perché ciò ridurrà

l’efficienza dell’elettrodomestico.

Se si mischiano i capi in tessuto sintetico con capi in

cotone, questi ultimi potrebbero risultare ancora

bagnati al termine del ciclo di asciugatura. In questo

caso, avviare un ulteriore breve ciclo di asciugatura.

●

Nota bene: Quando imposti la durata di asciugatura

nei programmi temporizzati ricorda che negli ultimi

10 minuti, automaticamente, inizierà la fase di

asciugatura a freddo in cui l’asciugatrice raffredderà

i tuoi capi.

Etichette con le istruzioni per il lavaggio

Controllare con attenzione le etichette degli indumenti,

specialmente se si tratta della prima volta che si

introduce il capo in un’asciugatrice. Di seguito sono

riportati i simboli più comuni:

Indumenti non adatti al trattamento di

asciugatura

Capi che contengono parti in gomma o materiali

simili, membrane di plastica (cuscini, imbottiture o

impermeabili in PVC) e ogni tipo di tessuto

infiammabile o che contenga sostanze

infiammabili (asciugamani sporche di lacca).

●

Fibre di vetro (alcuni tipi di tendaggi)

●

Indumenti completamente asciutti

●

Tessuti contrassegnati con il simbolo

(vedere la sezione Tessuti particolari), che

possono essere puliti con prodotti speciali di pulizia

domestica. Seguire attentamente le istruzioni.

●

Elementi troppo voluminosi (piumoni, sacchi a

pelo, cuscini, imbottiture, copriletto e così via), che

si espandono durante l’asciugatura ed impediscono

così all’aria di circolare nell’asciugatrice.

Bucato

Tessuti particolari

Coperte e copriletti: tessuti in acrilico (Acilan,

Courtelle, Orion, Dralon) devono essere asciugati

con estrema cura a temperatura BASSA. Non

impostare mai tempi di asciugatura lunghi.

Indumenti con pieghe o plissettati: leggere le

istruzioni di asciugatura fornite dal produttore.

Capi inamidati: non mischiare questi capi con altri

capi non inamidati. Rimuovere la maggiore quantità

possibile della soluzione iniziale prima di inserire i

capi nell’asciugatrice. Non asciugare questi capi per

troppo tempo: l’amido diverrebbe polvere lasciando

gli abiti troppo morbidi e venendo meno la sua stessa

funzione.

La tabella riportata di seguito indica i tempi

I tempi sono approssimativi e possono variare in base a:

• Quantità di acqua trattenuta dai capi dopo la

centrifuga: le asciugamani e in genere i capi

delicati trattengono molta acqua.

• Tessuto: i capi dello stesso tessuto, ma con trama

e spessore differente, avranno sicuramente tempi

di asciugatura diversi.

• Quantità di bucato: capi singoli e piccoli carichi,

impiegano più tempo ad asciugarsi.

• Asciugatura: se i capi devono essere stirati, è

consigliabile estrarli dall’asciugatrice quando sono

ancora umidi. I capi che devono essere

completamente asciutti, possono invece essere

lasciati più a lungo.

• Temperatura impostata.

• Temperatura della stanza: più è bassa la

temperatura della stanza in cui si trova

l’asciugatrice, più tempo sarà necessario per

l’asciugatura degli indumenti.

• Volume: alcuni capi voluminosi richiedono

particolare cura nel processo di asciugatura. È

consigliabile rimuovere questi capi, scuoterli e

inserirli nuovamente nell’asciugatrice: questa

operazione deve essere ripetuta diverse volte

durante il ciclo di asciugatura.

! Non asciugare troppo gli indumenti.

L’umidità naturale contenuta nei tessuti serve a

conservarne la morbidezza e la vaporosità.
