1.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Aufgrund der detaillierten Abbildung des Originals bzw. der vorgese-
henen Verwendung kann das Produkt Spitzen, Kanten und abbruch-
gefährdete Teile aufweisen. Für die Montage sind Werkzeuge nötig.
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen und Dioramen.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungs-
gemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden haftet der Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:
- Fahrdrahtausgleichsstück
- Anleitung
2. Einleitung
Passen Sie mittels dieses Fahrdrahtausgleichsstückes die
Viessmann Oberleitung ganz einfach an die spezifischen
Gegebenheiten Ihrer Modellbahnanlage an.
3. Einbau
Das Fahrdrahtausgleichsstück lässt sich mit allen Viessmann
Fahrdrähten und Fahrdrähten anderer Hersteller mit einem
entsprechenden Nenndurchmesser (siehe Tabelle Seite 2)
kombinieren. Ebenso können andere Fabrikate durch Löten mit
dem Viessmann System verbunden werden.
- Trennen Sie einen Fahrdraht mit einem Seitenschneider,
sodass die Abstände A und B (Abb. 1) annähernd gleich sind.
- Schieben Sie den Fahrdraht in die Hülsen des Ausgleichs-
stückes (Abb. 2).
- Längen Sie den Fahrdraht bis auf ca. 4 – 5 mm hinter der
Hülse ab (Abb. 3).
- Biegen Sie die Fahrdrahtenden hinter der Hülse um. So
xieren Sie das Ausgleichsstück in seiner Position. Eventuell
können dann die gebogenen Fahrdrahtenden nochmal etwas
gekürzt werden (Abb. 4).

1.1 Safety instructions

Due to the detailed reproduction of the original and the
intended use, this product can have peaks, edges and break-
able parts. Tools are required for installation.
1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose
This product is intended:
- For installation in model train layouts and dioramas.
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not approved and is
considered inappropriate. The manufacturer is not responsible
for any damage resulting from the improper use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for completeness:
- Catenary contact wire equalizing piece
- Manual
2. Introduction
Adjust the Viessmann catenary system easily to the specific conditions of
your model train layout with the catenary contact wire equalizing piece.
3. Mounting
The catenary contact wire equalizing piece is compatible with all
Viessmann catenary wires and all catenary wires of other manufac-
turers. Please nd the nominal diameter in the following table. Other
products can be connected to the Viessmann system by soldering.
- Cut a wire with a side cutter so that the distances A and B
(fig. 1) are approx. the same.
- Insert the catenary wire into the sleeves of the contact wire
equalizing piece (fig. 2).
- Cut the catenary wire up to 4 – 5 mm behind the sleeve (fig. 3).
- Bend the ends of the catenary wire behind the sleeve to fix
the position of the contact wire equalizing piece. Possibly,
the bent ends of the catenary wire can be shortened again
somewhat (fig. 4).
