1 INTRODUZIONE
“Hi-Vision JV” è un applicativo per la visualizzazione in tempo reale delle immagini provenienti da dispositivi “Video
Gateway 4T”.
E’ realizzato in linguaggio Java (J2ME) ed è utilizzabile su telefoni Cellulari equipaggiati con MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.0 o
superiore.
La trasmissione delle immagini avviene grazie alla connessione del telefono Cellulare con Internet in modalità WAP
(GPRS) su protocollo UDP.
I parametri per la connessione ad Internet in WAP devono essere configurati precedentemente sul telefono e sono
differenti a seconda del tipo di Cellulare e dal Provider utilizzati.
Dal momento che ogni operatore offre condizioni e costi differenti per l’accesso a Internet, è consigliato
verificare la tariffazione rivolgendosi al proprio provider,
Le Immagini visualizzate dai dispositivi “Video Gateway 4T” durante l’accesso agli stessi con il suddetto applicativo,
vengono esclusivamente trasmesse al telefono cellulare connesso e non sono archiviate in alcun server.

ATTENZIONE:
Si ricorda che non tutti i telefoni cellulari supportano la disconnessione automatica da Internet. Quindi si
consiglia di effettuarla in modo manuale all’uscita dall’Applicativo come indicato nelle istruzioni del proprio
telefono cellulare.
2 INSTALLAZIONE “HI-VISION JV”
Per installare “Hi-Vision JV” è necessario copiare il file “Hi-Vision JV.jar” dalla cartella del CD “HI-VISION”
D:\SW Applications \Hi-Vision JV \ Italian\ nella memoria del telefono cellulare e poi procedere all’installazione.
Attenersi alle istruzioni del costruttore del telefono cellulare.
Dopo l’installazione l'icona “Hi-Vision JV” apparirà nel menu dei Programmi installati a seconda del tipo di Telefono
Cellulare.

3 AVVIO DI “HI-VISION JV”
Avviare il programma cliccando sull’icona.
Verrà richiesto se utilizzare la connessione Internet e dopo aver dato conferma l’applicativo presenterà la videata in
cui inserire I codici identificativi dei “Video Gateway 4T” da ricercare.
Alla prima installazione la lista sarà vuota.
4 INSERIMENTO ID “VIDEO GATEWAY 4T”
Per effettuare la connessione ai “Video Gateway 4T” sarà necessario inserire il codice identificativo univoco del
dispositivo.
Si possono impostare fino a 4 identificativi di “Video Gateway 4T”.

5 RICERCA “VIDEO GATEWAY 4T”
Una volta impostato codice Identificativo è necessario evidenziarlo muovendosi con le frecce e attivare il tasto delle
“Opzioni” posto a sinistra dello schermo.
Il Menu a tendina si aprirà consentendo le scelte “Ricerca”, “Immagine”, “Version”.
Per iniziare la connessione al “Video Gateway 4T” evidenziato, bisogna utilizzare la funzione di “Ricerca”.
Selezionando questa funzione verrà presentata una schermata per la scelta del portale WAP a cui connettersi.
Una volta confermata la scelta inizierà il Processo di Ricerca del Dispositivo desiderato.
Tale operazione, che comprende più fasi sequenziali accompagnate da numerosi messaggi di stato, potrebbe durare
anche qualche minuto a causa delle condizioni di trasmissione della rete Mobile
Alla fine della ricerca se il dispositivo è stato trovato, sarà proposta l’Immagine del CH1 di tale dispositivo o la richiesta
di introdurre la “password di visualizzazione”.
Se invece il dispositivo non è presente o non viene rilevato, sarà visualizzato un messaggio di errore.
ATTENZIONE:
Se la ricerca si blocca per criticità della rete Mobile è necessario re-inizializzare la procedura di ricerca, anche
riavviando l’applicativo.

6 VISUALIZZAZIONE IN TEMPO REALE
Se sul “Video Gateway 4T“ era stata impostata una “Password di Visualizzazione” (che corrisponde al Codice Utente
impostato con il SW “Hi-Vision” da PC) l’applicativo non mostrerà immagini finché non sarà introdotta tale password.
ATTENZIONE:
Si consiglia di impostare sempre la password di visualizzazione per consentire la visualizzazione solo agli
utenti abilitati.
Dopo aver introdotto la password l’Applicativo si connette al Dispositivo e attende I dati relativi all’immagine del canale
CH1,

In questa fase il menu “Opzioni”, posto in basso a sinistra, permette di:
- Eseguire la memorizzazione dell’immagine corrente con “Salva immagine”;
- Selezionare gli altri canali Video dello stesso “Video Gateway 4T” CH2-CH3- CH4;
- Eseguire la connessione ad altri “Video Gateway 4T” tra quelli impostati all’avvio.
In particolare il salvataggio dell’immagine corrente permette di memorizzarla per una successiva visualizzazione con il
menu iniziale “Immagine” (vedere cap. 7).
Per visualizzare gli altri canali (CH2 – CH3 – CH4) è sufficiente selezionarli e confermare con il tasto “Seleziona”.
Per connettersi ad un altro dispositivo “Video Gateway”, verrà eseguita una nuova ricerca e appena sarà rilevato verrà
proposta la procedura di introduzione della Password come descritto in precedenza.

7 VISUALIZZAZIONE IMMAGINI MEMORIZZATE
Questa funzione può essere utilizzata solo all’apertura dell’applicativo (cap. 4) quando il Menu “Opzioni” consente di
scegliere la voce “Immagine”.
In questo caso verrà visualizzata la prima immagine memorizzata con la funzione “Salva Immagine” durante la
visualizzazione in tempo reale.
Inoltre saranno visibili le informazioni di data e ora relative all’immagine selezionata.
E’ possibile accedere a tutte le immagini immagazzinate attraverso il menu “Opzioni”.
Qui, sarà consentito di scorrere tra le immagini, verificare lo spazio occupato e il numero di immagini ed
eventualmente provvedere alla loro cancellazione.

8 USCITA DA “HI-VISION JV”
In ogni schermata è possibile tornare alla precedente e uscire dall’applicativo grazie alla pressione successiva dei tasti
funzione “Indietro” o “Esci”.
L’uscita dall’applicativo disconnette il “Video Gateway 4T” e riporta il Telefono Cellulare alla schermata dove è
visualizzata l’icona “Hi-Vision JV”.
Alcuni telefoni Cellulari, consentono la disconnessione automatica dalla rete WAP.
Tuttavia per evitare inutili spese impreviste, qualora il telefono non la eseguisse automaticamente, si
consiglia di effettuarla sempre in modo manuale all’uscita dall’Applicativo, come indicato nelle istruzioni del
proprio telefono cellulare.

1 INTRODUCTION
The “Hi-Vision JV” is a software package used to display the real-time video images originating from “Video Gateway
4T” devices.
It has been implemented through the Java (J2ME) language and can be used also with mobile phones equipped with
MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.0 (or higher).
Images are transmitted through the mobile telephone connection with the Internet in the WAP (GPRS) mode on a UDP
protocol.
The parameters used to get connected to the Internet in the WAP mode shall be configured previously on the phone
and differ depending on the type of mobile phone and the Internet service provider.
Since each Internet provider offers different conditions and costs for accessing the Web, it is recommended
that you should carefully look through the price schedule by applying to your provider.
The images displayed by the “Video Gateway 4T” devices when accessing the latter by means of the above-
mentioned package will be transmitted only to the mobile phone connected and will not be stored with any server.

CAUTION!
Please be reminded that automatic disconnection from the Internet is not supported by all mobile phones. For
this reason, automatic disconnection from the Internet should be performed manually when exiting the
program, as specified in the instructions accompanying your own mobile phone.
2 INSTALLING THE “HI-VISION JV”
To install the “Hi-Vision JV” package, copy the “Hi-Vision JV.jar” file from the CD “HI-VISION”
(folder D:\SW Applications \ Hi-Vision JV \ English\ ) to the mobile phone memory, then proceed with the set-up.
Follow the instructions given by the mobile phone manufacturer.
After installing, the “Hi-Vision JV” icon will appear in the installed program menu, according to the type of mobile
phone.

3 STARTING THE “HI-VISION JV”
Start the program by clicking on the icon.
You will be asked whether the Internet connection has to be used; after confirming, the program will display the screen
into which the identification codes of the “Video Gateway 4T” items to be searched shall be entered.
Upon the first set-up, the list will be empty.
4 ENTERING THE “VIDEO GATEWAY 4T” ID CODE
To establish a connection with the “Video Gateway 4T” items, you shall enter the device’s unique identification code.
You can set up to four “Video Gateway 4T” item identification codes.

5 SEARCHING FOR THE “VIDEO GATEWAY 4T”
Once you have set the identification code, the latter shall be highlighted by moving around with the arrows and the
“Options” button (located on the left of the screen) shall be activated.
The drop-down menu will open, to enable you to select “Search”, “Image” or “Version”.
To start the connection with the highlighted “Video Gateway 4T” item, the “Search” function shall be used.
By selecting this function, a screen will be displayed, through which you can select the WAP portal to be connected
with.
Once the selection is confirmed, the search for the desired device will be started.
This operation, which includes several sequence phases accompanied by a great number of status messages, might
last even a few minutes, due to the mobile network transmission conditions.
When the search is completed – and if the device has been found – either the device CH1 image or a request for
entering the “Password for viewing” will be displayed.
If, on the contrary, the device is not available or is not detected, an error message will be displayed.
CAUTION!
If the search is stopped due to the critical conditions of the mobile network, you shall re-initialize the search
procedure, even by re-booting the software program.

6 REAL-TIME DISPLAYING
If a ““Password for viewing”” (corresponding to the User Code set by means of the “Hi-Vision” software through the
PC) has been set on the “Video Gateway 4T“ item, then the program will show no image until the above-mentioned
password is entered.
CAUTION!
It is recommended that you should always set the “Password for viewing”, in order to enable the displaying
only to the authorized users.
After the password is entered, the program will be connected to the device and wait for the CH1 channel image data.

During this phase, the “Opzioni” (Options) menu, available in the left bottom section, will allow you to:
- store the current image by means of “Save image”;
- select the other video channels of the same “Video Gateway 4T” item, i.e. CH2-CH3-CH4;
- make a connection with the other “Video Gateway 4T” items from among the ones set at the start.
In particular, saving the current image will enable you to store the same for subsequent displaying with the “Image”
starting menu (refer to Chapter 7).
For viewing other channels (CH2 – CH3 – CH4) is needed select and confirm with “Seleziona” (Selection) key.
To connect to another “Video Gateway” will be executed a new search. When it will be find, will start the password
entry procedure as described above.

7 STORED IMAGE DISPLAYING
This function can be used only upon opening the program (cf. Chapter 4), when the “Opzioni” (Options) menu
enables you to select the “Image” item.
In this case, the first image stored by means of the “Save image” function during the real-time displaying will be
shown.
Moreover, the date and time information for the selected image will be displayed.
You can access all of the stored images by means of the “Opzioni” (Options) menu.
Here you will be allowed to scroll through the images, as well as check the occupied space and the number of images
and also clear such images, if necessary.

8 EXITING THE “HI-VISION JV”
You can, within any one screen, go back to the previous screen and exit the program by subsequently pressing the
“Indietro” (Back) or “Esci” (Exit) function key.
Exiting the program will disconnect the “Video Gateway 4T” device and also resume the mobile phone’s screen
displaying the “Hi-Vision JV” icon.
Some mobile phones feature automatic disconnection from the WAP network.
However, in order to avoid unexpected costs, it is recommended that you should always perform manual
disconnection (in case the phone does not get disconnected automatically) when you exit the program, by
following the instructions accompanying your own mobile phone.

1 INTRODUCTION
“Hi-Vision JV” est une application d’affichage en temps réel des images venant des dispositifs “Vidéo Gateway 4T”.
Elle est réalisée en langage Java (J2ME) et peut être utilisée sur des téléphones mobiles équipés MIDP 2.0, CLDC
1.0 ou supérieure.
Les images sont transmises à travers la connexion du mobile à Internet en modalité WAP (GPRS) sur le protocole
UDP.
Les paramètres de connexion à Internet en WAP doivent être configurés préalablement sur le mobile ; ils changent
selon le type de mobile et le fournisseur d’accès.
Comme chaque opérateur de téléphonie offre des conditions et des coûts différents pour l’accès à Internet,
nous vous conseillons de vérifier les tarifs auprès de votre fournisseur d’accès.
Les images affichées sur le mobile à partir des dispositifs “Vidéo Gateway 4T” ne sont stockées sur aucun serveur.
Veuillez vérifier les conditions du service de gestion “Vidéo Gateway 4T” sur le site www.elkron.com.
ATTENTION :
Sachez que non tous les mobiles supportent la déconnexion automatique à Internet ; par conséquent, nous
vous conseillons de l’effectuer en mode manuel quand vous quittez l’application tel qu’indiqué dans les
instructions de votre mobile.
2 INSTALLATION DE “HI-VISION JV”
Pour installer “Hi-Vision JV”, vous devez copier dans la mémoire de votre mobile, à partir du CD “HI-VISION” le fichier
“Hi-Vision JV.jar” figurant dans le dossier D:\SW Applications \ Hi-Vision JV \ French\ ; ensuite procédez à
l’installation.
Suivez les instructions du constructeur du mobile.
Selon le type de mobile, au terme de l’installation, l’icône “Hi-Vision JV” apparaît dans le Menu des Programmes
installés.

3 LANCEMENT DE “HI-VISION JV”
Lancez le programme en sélectionnant l’icône.
Répondez affirmativement au message vous demandant d’utiliser la connexion Internet. A ce stade, l’application
affiche la page d’entrée des codes d’identification des “Vidéo Gateway 4T” à rechercher.
Lors de la première installation, la liste sera vide.
4 SAISIE DE L’ID DU “VIDEO GATEWAY 4T”
Pour vous connecter au “Vidéo Gateway 4T”, vous devez saisir le code d’identification unique du dispositif.
Vous pouvez définir au maximum 4 codes ID de “Vidéo Gateway 4T”.
