GUIDA RAPIDA / QUICK CONFIGURATION
In questa guida puoi trovare le operazioni principali per la configurazione del PocketGSM-AL.

Inserisci una SIM card, con la richiesta del PIN disabilitata, nel PocketGSM-AL.
Ti consigliamo di non usare la SIM che utilizzi quotidianamente perché la tua rubrica personale
potrebbe essere cancellata.
Collega i sensori agli ingressi digitali e alle uscite. I sensori collegati agli ingressi devono essere
nello stato normale (stato non allarmato).
Accendi il PocketGSM-AL e controlla l’accensione del led POWER. Dopo pochi secondi il
PocketGSM-AL si registrerà alla rete GSM ed il led STATUS inizierà a lampeggiare.
Ora, puoi iniziare con la configurazione utilizzando un normale telefono cellulare per inviare degli
SMS al PocketGSM-AL.
In this quick guide, you can found the main configuration messages for PocketGSM AL. For the
complete product description and configuration, download the User Guide from www.digicom.it
Insert a SIM in the PocketGSM AL. The PIN request must be disable. It is not advisable to use the
SIM one uses every day as all the telephone numbers and config can be overwritten easily.
Connect your devices to digital input and outputs. The devices connect to pins input must be in
normal state (no alarm state).
Switch-on PocketGSM and check Power and Status Leds: ON. When the PocketGSM AL was
detected by GSM network, the Status Led will blink.
Now, you can start with the configuration. Use a normal phone to send SMS messages to
PocketGSM AL. Write the message like see below.

INGRESSI DIGITALI / DIGITAL INPUTS
Per ciascun ingresso digitale sono ammessi due stati: ingresso aperto o ingresso chiuso a massa.
E’ necessario collegare solo un contatto “pulito” (senza tensione) tra il pin dell’ingresso (pin 6, 5, 4,
3) ed il pin della massa (pin 10). Non è necessario applicare tensione agli ingressi.
Two status are supported for each input: open or closed to ground. It is
necessary connect only a free contact (without voltage) between the
input pin (pin 6, 5, 4, 3) and the ground pin (pin 10).

USCITE / OUPUTS
Le due uscite Open Collector del PocketGSM, consentono di controllare i dispositivi che possono
essere attivati e disattivati dalla chiusura di un interruttore. (es. Luce, Sirena, Porta logica, ecc. …).
Per il collegamento dei vostri dispositivi, tenete in considerazione la massima tensione che può
essere applicata fra il collettore e l'emettitore (Vce

= 45V) del Transistor e la massima corrente

Se con l’uscita volete gestire un semplice led (1,5V – 20mA), ed avete a
disposizione un alimentatore da 12V, occorrerà inserire una resistenza di
pull-up del valore di 470, per limitare la corrente.
If you want to manage a simple led (1,5V – 20mA), with a 12V power
supply, you must add a pull-up resistor (470) to limit the current.
Esempio 2 / Example 2
Se invece attraverso l’uscita del
PocketGSM volete controllare una
lampadina alimentata a 230V, dovrete
collegare un relè esterno, ed un diodo di
protezione per il transistor interno al PocketGSM. In questo caso
occorre costruire un piccolo circuito esterno, inserendo un diodo
1N4007 o 1N4148, e poi collegare un opportuno relè.
NOTA: se dovete utilizzare un cavo prolunga per
raggiungere il relè, inserite il diodo di protezione vicino al
pin1 o pin 2 del PocketGSM, come protezione del transistor.
If you want to manage a lamp with 230V power supply, you can
connect an external rele and a diode (1N4007 or 1N4148) to
protect the transistor inside the PocketGSM
Note: if you use a cable to connect the rele, connect the
diode close to the pin1 or pin2 of the PocketGSM to protect
the transistor inside the PocketGSM.

AVVERTENZE
Informazioni sulla SICUREZZA
Leggere attentamente le istruzioni e norme qui riportate
prima di accendere il PocketGSM. Violare tali norme
potrebbe essere illegale e potrebbe creare situazioni di
pericolo. Per ognuna delle situazioni descritte è
necessario fare riferimento alle disposizione e norme del
caso. Il PocketGSM è una radioricetrasmittente a bassa
potenza. Quando è in funzione, invia e riceve energia a
radiofrequenza (RF). Il modem produce campi magnetici
per questa ragione deve essere tenuto lontano da
supporti magnetici quali dischetti, nastri ecc. Il
funzionamento del PocketGSM vicino a dispositivi elettrici
ed elettronici quali radio, telefoni, televisioni e computer
può causare interferenze.
Interferenze
l PocketGSM, così come tutti i dispositivi senza fili è
soggetto ad interferenze che possono influire sulle
prestazione del dispositivo.
Utilizzo in auto
Nel caso di utilizzo su autovetture è necessario verificare
se i dispositivi elettronici del veicolo siano protetti contro
l’emissione RF. Non installare il PocketGSM sull’airbag o
nello spazio che l’airbag occuperebbe gonfiandosi.
Utilizzo in aereo
Spegnete il vostro PocketGSM quando siete in aereo
scollegando il cavo di alimentazione. L’utilizzo di
dispositivi GSM su aeromobili è illegale.
Utilizzo all’interno degli ospedali
E’ necessario porre la massima attenzione nell’utilizzo del
PocketGSM negli ospedali e nei centri sanitari in quanto è
possibile che siano in uso dispositivi sensibili a segnali
esterni di radiofrequenza. Nei centri sanitari dove
espressamente indicato l’apparecchio va tenuto spento;
in particolare potrebbero verificarsi interferenze con
stimolatori cardiaci e protesi acustiche.
Utilizzo in prossimità di materiali esplosivi
Non utilizzare il PocketGSM in depositi di carburante,
impianti chimici o in aree caratterizzate dalla presenza di
gas esplosivi o dove operazioni con esplosivi sono in
corso. Sarà necessario rispettare le limitazioni ed
attenetevi a qualunque norma o disposizione prevista.
Modalità d’uso
Non utilizzate il PocketGSM a contatto col corpo umano,
non toccate l’antenna se non strettamente necessario.
Consultate i manuali di eventuali dispositivi che dovete
collegare al PocketGSM. Non collegare dispositivi
incompatibili.
WARNING
SAFETY INFORMATION
Read carefully these instructions and notes
before powering PocketGSM. Please refer to the
specific instructions for each situation.
PocketGSM is a low power radio transmitter and
receiver. When it is ON, it sends receives
radio frequency (RF) signals.
PocketGSM produces magnetic fields. Do not
place it next to magnetic support such as floppy
disks, tapes, et. . Using your modem close to
other electrical equipment, such as television,
phone, radios and personal computer, may
cause interference.
Interference
PocketGSM, like all wireless devices, is subject
to interferences that may reduce its
performances.
Road Safety
Do not use PocketGSM while driving. In case of
use on cars, it is necessary to check that
electronic equipment is shielded against RF
signal. Do not place PocketGSM over the air bag
or in the air bag deployment area.
Aircraft Safety
Switch off PocketGSM on aircraft and disconnect
the Power cable. The use of GSM devices on
aircraft is illegal.
Hospital Safety
Do not use PocketGSM near health equipment,
especially pacemaker and hearing aids, to avoid
potential interferences. PocketGSM is not a
mobile phone, do not use it in direct contact with
the human body. Switch it off in hospitals, and
medical center. Hospitals or health care facilities
may be using equipment that could be sensitive
to external RF energy.
Explosive materials
Do not use PocketGSM in refuelling points, near
fuel or chemicals. Do not use PocketGSM where
blasting is in progress. Observe restrictions, and
follow any regulation or instruction.
Instructions for use
Do not use PocketGSM in direct contact with the
human body, do not touch the antenna if not
necessary when the phone is in use. Use
approved accessories and batteries only. Do not
connect incompatible products.
