Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Fibre Optic HDMI Hybrid Cable. This Cable allows you to transmit

HDMI signals up to a distance of 150m. This cable is a hybrid cable containing both fibre optic and

copper cores.

For long distances of up to 300m the LINDY HDMI fibre optic extender No.38003 may be used, for even

larger distances up to 700m the fibre optic extender No.38063.

Installation

 This cable can only be used in one direction. The connector to be plugged into the HDMI source is

labelled SOURCE.

 The connectors include opto-electronic transceiver chipsets that require power. In many cases the

power can be provided from the connected HDMI device. In all other cases as well as to assure a

higher level of reliability, the supplied power supplies must be connected to the HDMI connectors.

 Connect the cable to the devices and power on your display and source to complete the installation

 The minimum bending radius of the hybrid cable is approximately 8cm; never bend the cable to a

smaller radius because this would irreversibly destroy the cable.

 Never step on the cable or put any heavy pressure on to the cable

 The maximum tensile load to the cable is 245N. Never pull the cable with higher load.

Einführung

Dieses HDMI Hybrid-Kabel überträgt HDMI-Signale und ist in Längen bis 150m erhältlich. Es enthält sowohl

optische Fasern wie auch elektrische Kupferadern.

Für größere Längen sind folgende LINDY HDMI Fibre Optic Extender verfügbar: bis 300m Art.-Nr. 38003 (SC

Duplex Multimode) und bis 700m Art.-Nr. 38063 SC Duplex Single Mode).

 Dies Kabel überträgt HDMI Signale AUSSCHLIEßLICH in einer Richtung, der Stecker, der an die HDMI

Signalquelle angeschlossen wird trägt die Bezeichnung SOURCE

 Die Stecker enthalten opto-elektronische Transceiver Chipsätze die mit Strom versorgt werden

müssen. In vielen Fällen reicht dafür die von den angeschlossenen Geräten über die HDMI-

Schnittstellen bereit gestellte Spannung aus. In den anderen Fällen, sowie um einen höheren Grad

an Funktionssicherheit zu erhalten, schließen Sie bitte die beiliegenden Netzteile an die Stecker an.

 Der minimale Biegeradius des Hybridkabels beträgt ca. 8cm. Biegen Sie das Kabel NIEMALS mit

einem kleineren Radius und knicken Sie das Kabel NIEMALS, dies zerstört das Kabel irreversibel!

 Treten Sie niemals auf das Kabel und stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Kabel

 Die maximale Zugkraft beträgt 245N. Ziehen Sie NIEMALS mit höherer Kraft an dem Kabel

 Schließen Sie das Kabel an die Geräte an und schalten Sie alles ein um die Installation

abzuschließen.

Introduction

Merci d’avoir choisi le câble HDMI hybride de LINDY! Ce câble permet de transmettre des signaux HDMI

jusqu’à 150m. Ce câble est hybride car il contient des liens fibres optiques et cuivre.

Pour des distances jusqu’à 300m, l’extender LINDY HDMI fibre optique N° Art. 38003 doit être utilisé.

Pour des distances encore plus longues: jusqu’à 700m, merci d’utiliser l’extender fibre optique N°

Art.38063.

 Installation et utilisation

 Ce câble peut être uniquement utilise dans une seule direction. La prise à connecter côté source

HDMI est labellisé SOURCE.

 Les prises comprennent un convertisseur opto-électronique qui nécessite une alimentation. Dans la

plupart des cas, l’alimentation peut être fournie par la source HDMI. Dans les autres cas, les 2

alimentations fournies doivent être connectées aux 2 extrémités du câble hybride.

 L’angle minimum de courbure du câble hybride est 8cm. Ne pliez jamais davantage le câble car

cela le cassera.

 Ne restez jamais sur le câble ou n’appliquez aucune lourde pression sur le câble

 La tension maximale admise sur le câble est de 245N. N’appliquez jamais une tension supérieure.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical

and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.

Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.

Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
