Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Fibre Optic DVI-D Hybrid Cable! This Cable allows you to
transmit Digital DVI signals up to a distance of 150. This cable is a hybrid cable containing both
fibre optic and copper cores.
For long distances of up to 300m the LINDY DVI fibre optic extender No.38004 may be used,
for even larger distances up to 5km the fibre optic extender No.38064.

Installation
This cable can only be used in one direction. The connector to be plugged into the DVI
source is labelled TX.
The connectors include opto-electronic transceiver chipsets that require power. In many
cases the power can be provided from the connected DVI device. In all other cases as well
as to assure a higher level of reliability the supplied power supplies must be connected to
the DVI connectors.
The minimum bending radius of the hybrid cable is approximately 75mm; never
bend the cable to a smaller radius because this would irreversibly destroy the
cable.
Never step on the cable or put any heavy pressure on to the cable
The maximum tensile load to the cable is 245N. Never pull the cable with higher
load.
Connect the cable to the devices and power on your display and source to complete the
installation

Einführung
Dieses DVI-D Hybrid-Kabel überträgt DVI-D-Signale und ist in Längen bis 150m erhältlich. Es
enthält sowohl optische Fasern wie auch elektrische Kupferadern.
Für größere Längen sind folgende LINDY DVI-D Fibre Optic Extender verfügbar: bis 300m Nr.
38004 (SC Duplex Multimode) und bis 5000m Nr. 38064 (SC Duplex Single Mode). Sowie für
DVI-D Dual Link Signale bis 500m Nr. 38065 (4x LC Single Link).

Installation
Dies Kabel überträgt DVI-D Signale AUSSCHLIEßLICH in einer Richtung, der Stecker, der
an die DVI-D Signalquelle angeschlossen wird trägt die Bezeichnung TX (Transmitter)
Die Stecker enthalten opto-elektronische Transceiver Chipsätze die mit Strom versorgt
werden müssen. In vielen Fällen reicht dafür die von den angeschlossenen Geräten über die
DVI-D-Schnittstellen bereit gestellte Spannung aus. In den anderen Fällen, sowie um einen
höheren Grad an Funktionssicherheit zu erhalten, schließen Sie bitte die beiliegenden
Netzteile an die Stecker an.
Der minimale Biegeradius des Hybridkabels beträgt ca. 7.5cm. Biegen Sie das
Kabel NIEMALS mit einem kleineren Radius und knicken Sie das Kabel NIEMALS,
dies zerstört das Kabel irreversibel!
Treten Sie niemals auf das Kabel und stellen Sie keine schweren Gegenstände auf
das Kabel
Die maximale Zugkraft beträgt 245N. Ziehen Sie NIEMALS mit höherer Kraft an dem
Kabel
Schließen Sie das Kabel an die Geräte an und schalten Sie alles ein um die Installation
abzuschließen.

Introduction
Ce câble DVI-D hybride permet de transmettre des signaux DVI-D et est disponible dans des
versions allant jusqu’à 150m. Il est composé de liens fibres optiques et cuivre.
Pour des distances allant jusqu’à 300m, l’extender LINDY DVI-D fibre optique N° Art. 38004
(SC Duplex Multimode) devra être utilisé, jusqu’à 5000m le N° Art. 38064 (SC Duplex Single
Mode).Pour des signaux DVI-D Dual Link jusqu’à 500m, le N° Art. 38065 (4x LC Single Link) est
préconisé.

Installation
Ce câble ne transmet les signaux DVI-D que dans un sens. La prise à connecter à la
source DVI-D est labellisé TX.
Les connecteurs comprennent un convertisseur opto-électronique qui nécessite une
alimentation. Dans la plupart des cas, l’alimentation peut être fournie par la source DVI-D.
Dans les autres cas, les 2 alimentations fournies doivent être connectées aux 2 extrémités
du câble hybride.
Le rayon de courbure minimum du câble hybride est de 7.5cm. Ne jamais pliez
davantage le câble, cela l’endommagerai de façon irrémédiable.
Ne jamais marcher sur le câble ou y appliquez une charge lourde
La traction maximale admise sur le câble est de 245N. Ne jamais appliquez une
traction supérieure.
Connectez le câble aux appareils et allumez l’écran et la source pour finaliser l’installation.

Grazie per aver scelto il cavo LINDY DVI-D fibra ottica ibrido! Questo cavo grazie alla
costruzione ibrida che trasmette segnali DVI-D da nucleo sia in rame che in fibra, consente di
raggiungere fino a 150m di distanza.
Per raggiungere distanze fino a 300m potete utilizzare l’extender LINDY DVI in fibra ottica art.
38004 e per distanze fino a 5k l’art. 38064.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.

Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von
