Hardware Installation

Connect the HDMI or VGA Input port on the VE2812T to the HDMI
or VGA Output port on your video source device using HDMI or
VGA cable. If VGA is connected, then you need to connect the
VGA Audio jack to the audio port on the VE2812T to transmit
sound.

Connect one end of the RJ-45 cable to the HDBaseT Output port
on the transmitter. Then connect the other end of the RJ-45 cable
to the HDBaseT Input port on the receiver.

(Optional) Connect your computer or control system to the terminal
block on the VE2812T. VE1812R is highly recommended in this
setting.

(Optional) Connect an IR transmitter / receiver to the IR port on the
VE2812T.

Plug the power adapter cable into the power jack on the VE2812T.
Source Input Operation
VE2812T can be used as a switch, by connecting two source devices
to the transmitter. Use the Input Switch Pushbutton to change your
source content.
The VE2812T has an Auto Mode setting and a Manual Mode setting.
In Auto Mode, the latest source device connected to the VE2812T will
be detected and set as the priority. In Manual Mode, you can toggle
between source devices by pressing the Input Switch Pushbutton.
RS-232 Channel Transmission
You can connect RS-232 serial devices to the VE2812T, such as
touchscreens and bar code scanners. The RS-232 signal transmission
fl ow is shown in the following example: From a source device, the RS-
232 signal is transmitted (Tx) to the receiving (Rx) unit; the VE2812T
transmits (Tx) signals to the display device (Rx). In addition, the source
input can be remotely selected by RS-232 command. Please refer to
the user manual for further details.
Working in Long Reach Mode
The VE2812T supports long reach mode. When this mode is applied,
the maximum range can be enhanced to 150 meters at resolutions up
to 1080p.

The VE2812T is compatible with the following ATEN receivers:
VE1812R, VE812R, VE814R, VE801R, VE802R, VE601R, VE901R or
future ATEN HDBaseT Receivers.

Installation du matériel

Raccordez le port d’entrée HDMI ou VGA du VE2812T au port
de sortie HDMI ou VGA sur votre appareil source vidéo à l’aide
du câble HDMI ou VGA. Si le VGA est connecté, alors vous devez
raccorder la fi che jack audio VGA au port audio du VE2812T pour
transmettre le son.

Branchez une extrémité du câble RJ-45 sur le port de sortie
HDBaseT de l'émetteur. Branchez ensuite l’autre extrémité du câble
RJ-45 sur le port d’entrée HDBaseT du récepteur.

(Optionnel) Raccordez votre ordinateur ou votre système de
contrôle au bornier du VE2812T. Le VE1812R est particulièrement
recommandé dans ce réglage.

(Optionnel) Raccordez un émetteur / récepteur IR au port IR du
VE2812T.

Branchez le câble de l'adaptateur secteur dans la prise
d'alimentation du VE2812T.
Fonctionnement de l‘entrée source
Le VE2812T peut être utilisé comme commutateur, en raccordant
deux appareils sources à l’émetteur. Utilisez le bouton poussoir du
commutateur d'entrée pour changer le contenu source.
Le VE2812T dispose d’un réglage Mode auto et d'un réglage Mode
manuel. En Mode auto, le dernier appareil source connecté au
VE2812T est détecté, confi guré, et reçoit la priorité. En Mode manuel,
vous pouvez basculer entre les appareils sources en appuyant sur le
bouton poussoir du commutateur d'entrée.
Transmission par la canal RS-232
Vous pouvez raccorder des dispositifs série RS-232 au VE2812T, par
exemple des écrans tactiles et des scanners de codes-barres. Le fl ux de
transmission du signal RS-232 est présenté sur l’exemple suivant :
Depuis un appareil source, le signal RS-232 est transmis (Tx) vers
le l'unité de réception (Rx); le VE2812T transmet (Tx) les signaux
vers le dispositif d’affi chage (Rx). De plus, l’entrée source peut être
sélectionnée à distance via commande RS-232. Veuillez vous reporter
au manuel d'utilisation pour plus de détails.
Fonctionnement en mode longue portée
Le VE2812T prend en charge le mode longue portée. Lorsque ce
mode est appliqué, la portée maximum peut être prolongée jusqu’à
150 mètres, à des résolutions jusque 1080p.
Récepteurs compatibles
Le VE2812T est compatible avec les récepteurs ATEN suivants :
VE1812R, VE812R, VE814R, VE801R, VE802R, VE601R, VE901R ou
futurs récepteurs HDBaseT ATEN.

Problemlösung
Der Firmware-Aktualisierungsanschluss ist für den technischen
Support reserviert. Wenn Sie die Firmware selbst aktualisieren
möchten, wenden Sie sich bitte an den technischen Support von
ATEN.

Hardwareinstallation

Verbinden Sie den HDMI- oder VGA-Eingang am VE2812T per
HDMI- oder VGA-Kabel mit dem HDMI- oder VGA-Ausgang
an Ihrem Videoeingangsgerät. Wenn eine VGA-Verbindung
hergestellt ist, müssen Sie den VGA-Audioanschluss zur
Audiosignalübertragung an den Audioanschluss am VE2812T
anschließen.

Verbinden Sie ein Ende des RJ-45-Kabels mit dem HDBaseT-
Ausgang am Sender. Schließen Sie dann das andere Ende des RJ-
45-Kabels an den HDBaseT-Eingang am Empfänger an.

(Optional) Verbinden Sie Computer oder Steuersystem mit dem
Anschlussblock am VE2812T. VE1812R wird in dieser Einstellung
besonders empfohlen.

(Optional) Verbinden Sie einen IR-Sender / -Empfänger mit dem IR-
Anschluss am VE2812T.

Schließen Sie das Netzteilkabel an den Netzanschluss am VE2812T
an.
Quelleneingang bedienen
VE2812T kann durch Anschluss von zwei Eingangsgeräten an
den Transmitter als Switch verwendet werden. Wechseln Sie den
eingehenden Inhalt mit Hilfe der Eingangswechsel-Drucktaste.
Der VE2812T hat eine Auto-Modus-Einstellung und eine Manueller-
Modus-Einstellung. Im Auto-Modus wird das zuletzt an den VE2812T
angeschlossene Eingangsgerät erkannt und erhält Priorität. Im
manuellen Modus können Sie über die Eingangsquelle-Drucktaste
zwischen Eingangsgeräten umschalten.
RS-232-Kanal-Übertragung
Sie können serielle RS-232-Geräte mit dem VE2812T verbinden,
wie Touchscreens und Strichcodescanner. Der RS-232-
Signalübertragungsfl uss wird in folgendem Beispiel angezeigt: Von
einem Eingangsgerät wird das RS-232-Signal an das Empfangsgerät
(Rx) übertragen (Tx); der VE2812T überträgt (Tx) Signale an das
Anzeigegerät (Rx). Zudem kann die Eingangsquelle extern per RS-
232-Befehl gewählt werden. Weitere Einzelheiten fi nden Sie in der
Bedienungsanleitung.
Im Reichweitenmodus arbeiten
Der VE2812T unterstützt den Reichweitenmodus. Wenn dieser Modus
angewandt wird, kann die maximale Reichweite auf 150 Meter
erweitert werden, bei Aufl ösungen bis 1080p.
Kompatible Empfänger
Das VE2812T ist mit folgenden ATEN-Empfängern kompatibel:
VE1812R, VE812R, VE814R, VE801R, VE802R, VE601R, VE901R oder
künftige ATEN-HDBaseT-Empfänger.

Solución de problemas
El puerto de actualización del fi rmware está reservado para soporte
técnico. Si desea realizar una actualización de fi rmware, póngase en

Instalación del hardware

Conecte el puerto de entrada HDMI VGA del VE2812T al puerto
de salida HDMI o VGA del dispositivo fuente de vídeo mediante
el cable HDMI o VGA. Si está conectada la señal VGA, necesita
enchufar el conector Audio VGA al puerto de audio de su VE2812T
para transmitir sonido.

Conecte un extremo del cable RJ-45 al puerto Salida HDBaseT del
transmisor. A continuación, conecte el otro extremo del cable RJ-
45 al puerto de entrada HDBaseT del receptor.

(Opcional) Conecte su PC o sistema de control al bloque de
terminales del VE2812T. VE1812R se recomienda encarecidamente
en esta confi guración.

(Opcional) Conecte un transmisor / receptor IR al puerto IR del
VE2812T.

Enchufe el cable del adaptador de alimentación en el conector de
alimentación del VE2812T.
Operación de entrada de fuente
VE2812T se puede utilizar como conmutador, conectando dos
dispositivos fuente al transmisor. Utilice el pulsador de entrada para
cambiar el contenido de la fuente.
El VE2812T tiene una confi guración en Modo automático y otra en
Modo manual. En Modo automático, se detectará el último dispositivo
fuente conectado al VE2812T y se establecerá como prioritario. En
Modo manual, puede alternar entre dispositivos fuente presionando el
pulsador de entrada.
Transmisión de canal RS-232
Puede conectar dispositivos serie RS-232 al VE2812T, como pantallas
táctiles y escáneres de código de barras. El fl ujo de transmisión de la
señal RS-232 se muestra en el siguiente ejemplo: Desde un dispositivo
fuente, la señal RS-232 se transmite (Tx) a la unidad receptora (Rx);
el VE2812T transmite (Tx) señales al dispositivo de visualización
(Rx). Además, la fuente entrada se puede seleccionar remotamente
mediante el comando RS-232. Consulte el manual del usuario para
obtener más detalles.
Trabajar en modo de largo alcance
El VE2812T admite el modo de largo alcance. Cuando se aplica este
modo, el alcance máximo se puede extender hasta 150 metros, con
resoluciones de hasta 1080p.

Installazione dell'hardware

Collegare la porta di ingresso HDMI o VGA di VE2812T alla porta
di uscita HDMI o VGA sul dispositivo con la sorgente video usando
il cavo HDMI o VGA. Se VGA è collegato, è necessario collegare il
connettore audio VGA alla porta audio di VE2812T per trasmettere

Funzionamento ingresso sorgente
VE2812T può essere utilizzato come switch, collegando due dispositivi
sorgente al trasmettitore. Utilizzare il pulsante di commutazione
ingresso per cambiare il contenuto della sorgente.
VE2812T dispone di un'impostazione Auto Mode (Modalità
automatica) e di un'impostazione Manual Mode (Modalità manuale).
In Auto Mode (Modalità automatica), l'ultimo dispositivo sorgente
collegato a VE2812T viene rilevato e impostato come priorità. In
Manual Mode (Modalità manuale), è possibile passare tra i dispositivi
sorgente premendo il pulsante di commutazione ingresso.
Trasmissione canale RS-232
È possibile collegare dispositivi seriali RS-232 a VE2812T, quali schermi
a sfi oramento e scanner per codice a barre. Il fl usso di trasmissione
del segnale RS-232 viene mostrato nel seguente esempio: Da un
dispositivo sorgente, il segnale RS-232 viene trasmesso (Tx) unità
ricevente (Rx); VE2812T trasmette i segnali (Tx) al dispositivo di
visualizzazione (Rx). Inoltre, è possibile selezionare da remoto
l'ingresso sorgente tramite comando RS-232. Per ulteriori dettagli,
fare riferimento al manuale utente.
Funzionamento in Modalità lungo raggio
VE2812T supporta la Modalità lungo raggio. Quando si applica questa
modalità, il raggio massimo può essere ampliato a 150 metri, con
risoluzioni fi no a 1080p.
