VINTAGE DELAY VD400
Vintage Analog Delay Eects Pedal
Thank you for showing your condence in us by purchasing the
Behringer VINTAGE DELAY VD400. This ultimate eects pedal is designed
to deliver amazing delay sounds comparable to state-of-the-art studio
processors. Thanks to its parameter controls, you’ll have plenty of cool
sounds at your disposal to handle almost any situation.
The delay eect creates a delay of the input signal with various
repetitions. Dierent tempo settings allow interesting delay eects.
1. Controls
(1) The REPEAT RATE control adjusts the delay time (repetition rate).
(2) The ECHO control adjusts the eect output level.
(3) INTENSITY control adjusts the number of repetitions.
(4) The ON/BATT LED illuminates when the eect is activated.
It also serves as a battery level indicator.
(5) Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate the eect.
(6) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the instrument cable.
(7) The ¼" TS OUT connector sends the signal to your amp.
(8) The ¼" TS DIR OUT connector sends the unaected signal
to connect, for example, to a separate amp.
◊ ◊ If you use the OUT connector only, it will send the aected
signal and, when deactivated, the unaected signal. When
using both the OUT and the DIR OUT, the VD400 acts like an
A/B box. This means when activated, the OUT sends only the
echo signal while the DIR OUT carries the dry signal. When
deactivated the OUT is muted while the DIR OUT sends the
unaected signal.
Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).

VINTAGE DELAY VD400
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover.
To install or replace the 9 V battery (not included), press the hinges with
a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch
the unit.
◊ ◊ The VD400 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert the
plug into the in connector, the VD400 is on. When not in use,
remove the plug from the in connector. This extends the life
of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside.
2. Safety Instructions
Do not use near water, or install near heat sources. Use only authorized
attachments/accessories. Do not service product yourself. Contact our
qualied servicing personnel for servicing or repairs, especially when
power supply cord or plug is damaged.

adquirir el VINTAGE DELAY VD400 de Behringer. Este pedal de efectos ha
sido diseñado para producir estupendos efectos de delay comparables
con procesadores de estudio de alta gama. Gracias a sus excepcionales
características tendrás a tu disposición una plétora de sonidos aptos
para cualquier situación.
El efecto de delay crea una copia retardada de la señal original con
varias repeticiones. Tiempos de retardo distintos producen efectos muy
interesantes.
1. Controles
(1) Con el control REPEAT RATE ajustas el tiempo de retardo (tasa de
repetición).
(2) Con ECHO regulas el nivel de salida del efecto.
(3) Con el control INTENSITY regulas el número de repeticiones.
(4) El LED ON/BATT se ilumina al activar el efecto, y también sirve como
indicador de la carga de la batería.
(5) Al presionar el pedal activas/desactivas el efecto.
(6) Entrada jack de 6,3 mm para conectar tu instrumento.
(7) Salida jack de 6,3 mm para enviar la señal al amplicador.
(8) El jack de 6,3 mm DIR OUT te permite enviar la señal sin alterar a,
por ejemplo, un amplicador.
◊ ◊ Al activar el VD400 y utilizar sólo el conector OUT, la señal se
transmite con efecto, mientras que al desactivarlo la señal
se transmite sin efecto. Al utilizar OUT y DIR OUT el VD400
funciona como un conmutador A/B. Esto signica que al
estar activado, la salida OUT transmite sólo la señal de eco
mientras que la salida DIR OUT transmite la señal sin efecto.
Al desactivar el pedal la salida OUT permanece silenciada
mientras que la salida DIR OUT transmite la señal sin efecto.
Al desactivar el efecto, OUT permanece silenciada y la señal
sin efecto se transmite a través de DIR OUT.
El conector DC IN te permite enchufar a tu pedal un adaptador de
corriente de 9 V (no incluido).
El COMPARTIMENTO DE LA BATERÍA se encuentra debajo de la cubierta
superior del pedal. Para instalar o cambiar la batería de 9 V (no incluida),
presiona las bisagras laterales con un bolígrafo y retira la cubierta del
pedal. Ten cuidado de no rayar la unidad.
◊ ◊ El VD400 no dispone de un interruptor de encendido/
apagado. Éste se enciende tan pronto conectas tu
instrumento en la entrada IN. Si no vas a utilizar el pedal,
desconecta el cable de la entrada IN para prolongar la vida
de la batería.

2. Instrucciones de Seguridad

DELAY VD400 Behringer, une pédale d’eet ultime qui produit de
superbes eets delay comparables à ceux des meilleurs processeurs
de studio. Grâce à ses fonctions complètes, le VD400 te fournit de
nombreux sons adaptés à quasiment toutes les applications.
L’eet delay retarde le signal source et le répète un certain nombre de
fois. Diérents réglages de tempo permettent de créer des eets delay
intéressants.
1. Commandes et Connexions
(1) Utilise REPEAT RATE pour régler le temps de delay.
(2) Le potentiomètre ECHO détermine le niveau de sortie du signal d’eet.
(3) La commande INTENSITY dénit le nombre de répétitions.
(4) La LED ON/BATT reste allumée tant que l’eet est actif. Elle sert
également de témoin d’état de la pile.
(5) Appuie sur le commutateur pour activer ou désactiver l’eet.
(6) Branche le câble de ton instrument dans l’entrée IN sur jack
asymétrique.
(7) Raccorde la sortie OUT sur jack asymétrique à l’entrée de ton ampli.
(8) La sortie DIR OUT sur jack asymétrique délivre le signal sans eet.
Tu peux l’utiliser pour alimenter un second ampli par exemple.
◊ ◊ Utilisée seule, la sortie OUT délivre le signal d’eet,
sauf lorsque l’eet est désactivé auquel cas elle délivre
le signal source. Lorsque tu utilises les deux sorties, le
VD400 se comporte comme un switch A/B. Cela signie que
lorsque l’eet est actif, la sortie OUT délivre uniquement
le signal d’eet pendant que la sortie DIR OUT délivre le
signal original (sans eet). Lorsque l’eet est désactivé,
la sortie OUT ne délivre aucun signal et la sortie DIR OUT
délivre le signal original (sans eet). Lorsque l’eet est
désactivé, la sortie OUT est mutée alors que la sortie DIR
OUT délivre le signal source.
Utilise le connecteur DC IN, situé à l’avant de la pédale, pour le
branchement d’un bloc d’alimentation de 9 V (non inclus).
Le COMPARTIMENT PILE est situé sous le capot de la pédale. Pour
installer ou remplacer la pile 9 V (non incluse), appuie sur les axes de la
charnière avec un stylo-bille et retire le capot de la pédale en veillant à
ne pas la rayer.
◊ ◊ Le VD400 ne possède pas de commutateur marche/arrêt.
C’est pourquoi il fonctionne dès que tu insères un jack
dans son entrée IN. Tant que tu n’utilises pas le VD400,
débranche le jack de l’entrée IN pour augmenter la durée
de vie de la pile.
Le NUMERO DE SERIE est situé sur la base de la pédale.

VINTAGE DELAY VD400 entgegengebracht hast. Dieses ultimative
Eektpedal wurde speziell entwickelt, um Dir unglaubliche Delay-Sounds
in Studioqualität zu bieten. Dank umfangreicher Parameterkontrolle
kannst Du jede Menge coole Sounds kreieren, um allen Situationen
gerecht zu werden.
Der Delay-Eekt generiert Wiederholungen des Eingangssignals mit
regelbarer Anzahl. Mit unterschiedlichen Tempoeinstellungen lassen
sich interessante Delay-Eekte erzielen.
1. Bedienungselemente
(1) Der REPEAT RATE-Regler bestimmt die Delay-Zeit
(Geschwindigkeit der Wiederholungen).
(2) Der ECHO-Regler bestimmt die Lautstärke des Eektsignals.
(3) Der INTENSITY-Regler bestimmt die Anzahl der Wiederholungen.
(4) Die ON/BATT-LED leuchtet, sobald der Eekt aktiviert ist.
Zusätzlich kannst Du den Batteriezustand überprüfen.
(5) Der Fußschalter dient zum Aktivieren/Deaktivieren des Eekts.
(6) Die 6,3-mm IN-Monoklinkenbuchse dient zum Anschluss
des Instruments.
(7) Die 6,3-mm OUT-Monoklinkenbuchse leitet das Signal an Deinen
Verstärker weiter.
(8) An der 6,3-mm DIR OUT-Monoklinkenbuchse kann das
Gitarrensignal ohne Eekt z. B. an einen separaten Verstärker
weitergeleitet werden.
◊ ◊ Ist nur die OUT-Buchse belegt, so wird hier das Signal
mit und – wenn deaktiviert – ohne Eekt ausgespielt.
Sind die OUT- und DIR OUT-Buchsen belegt, funktioniert
der VD400 wie eine A/B-Box. Bei aktiviertem Eekt gibt
die OUT-Buchse das Echo-Signal und die DIR OUT-Buchse
das Direktsignal aus. Ist der Eekt deaktiviert, ist die OUT-
Buchse stummgeschaltet und die DIR OUT-Buchse führt
das “trockene” Direktsignal.
Der DC IN-Anschluss rechts am Gerät dient zum Anschluss eines 9 V
Adapters (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
Das BATTERIEFACH bendet sich unter dem Fußschalter. Um die Batterie
(nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) einzubauen oder auszutauschen, drücke
die Gelenke vorsichtig zusammen und entferne das Pedal. Achte darauf,
das Gerät nicht zu zerkratzen.
◊ ◊ Der VD400 hat keinen On/O-Schalter. Der VD400 ist
betriebsbereit, sobald ein Kabel in der IN-Buchse steckt.
Ziehe den Stecker aus der IN-Buchse, wenn der VD400
nicht in Gebrauch ist. So verlängerst Du die Lebensdauer
der Batterie.
Die SERIENNUMMER bendet sich auf der Unterseite des Geräts.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
Betreibe das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder Wärmequellen.
Verwende bitte nur autorisiertes Zubehör. Führe bitte keinerlei
Reparaturen am Gerät eigenständig durch. Reparaturen sind nur
von qualiziertem Fachpersonal vorzunehmen, insbesondere bei
Beschädigungen des Netzkabels oder Netzsteckers.

VINTAGE DELAY VD400. Este moderno pedal de efeitos foi concebido
para fornecer sons de retardamento espantosos, comparáveis com
processadores de ponta para estúdio. Graças aos seus comandos
de parâmetros, terá à sua disposição muitos sons cool para utilizar
em quase todas as situações.
O efeito de retardamento cria um atraso no sinal de entrada, com várias
repetições. Diferentes denições de tempo permitem interessantes
efeitos de retardamento.
1. Comandos
(1) O comando REPEAT RATE ajusta o tempo de retardamento

DELAY VD400. Questo innovativo pedale eetti è stato concepito per
produrre incredibili suoni delay paragonabili ai migliori processori
delle sale di registrazione. Grazie ai comandi che regolano i parametri,
avrete a disposizione una varietà di fantastici suoni per gestire
praticamente qualsiasi situazione.
L’eetto delay crea un ritardo del segnale di ingresso con varie ripetizioni.
Le diverse impostazioni del tempo consentono di creare interessanti
eetti delay.
1. Comandi
(1) Il comando REPEAT RATE regola il tempo di delay
(velocità di ripetizione).
(2) Il comando ECHO regola il livello di uscita dell’eetto.
(3) Il comando INTENSITY regola il numero di ripetizioni.

Gefeliciteerd met uw aankoop van de Behringer VINTAGE DELAY VD400.
Wij danken u voor uw vertrouwen in ons. Dit ultieme eectpedaal is
ontworpen om verbazingwekkende vertragingsgeluiden te creëren,
die vergelijkbaar zijn met geavanceerde studioprocessors. Dankzij de
parametreerbare bedieningselementen beschikt u over een heleboel
coole geluiden waarmee u nagenoeg elke situatie het hoofd kunt bieden.
Het vertragingseect creëert een vertraging van het ingangssignaal
met verschillende herhalingen. Verschillende tempo-instellingen
maken interessante vertragingseecten mogelijk.
1. Bedieningselementen
(1) De REPEAT RATE-knop bepaalt de vertragingstijd
(herhalingsnelheid).
(2) De ECHO-knop regelt het uitgangsniveau van het eect.
(3) De INTENSITY-knop regelt het aantal herhalingen.
(4) De ON/BATT-LED brandt als het eect ingeschakeld is.
Deze LED doet tevens dienst als batterijspanningsindicator.
(5) Gebruik de voetschakelaar om het eect in en uit te schakelen.
(6) Sluit het instrument aan op de 6,3-mm-monostekkerbus IN.
(7) De 6,3-mm-monoconnector OUT verstuurt het signaal naar
uw versterker.
(8) De 6,3-mm-monoconnector DIR OUT verstuurt het oorspronkelijke
signaal, bijvoorbeeld naar een aparte versterker.
◊ ◊ Als u alleen de connector OUT gebruikt, zal deze het natte
signaal, of indien uitgeschakeld, het droge signaal doorsturen.
Als u zowel de OUT als de DIR OUT gebruikt, doet de VD400
dienst als een A/B-box. Dit betekent dat na activering de
OUT alleen het echosignaal uitzendt en de DIR OUT het droge
signaal doorgeeft, terwijl na deactivering de OUT wordt
gedempt en de DIR OUT het niet-vervormde signaal uitzendt.
Wanneer uitgeschakeld is de OUT stomgeschakeld, terwijl
de DIR OUT het droge signaal verstuurt.
De DC IN-bus dient voor de aansluiting van een 9 V-voeding
(niet meegeleverd).
Het BATTERIJVAK bevindt zich onder de pedaalafdekking. Om de
9V-batterij (niet meegeleverd) te installeren of vervangen, dient u
de scharnieren in te drukken met een balpen en de pedaalafdekking
te verwijderen. Pas op dat u geen krassen maakt op het apparaat.
◊ ◊ De VD400 heeft geen aan/uit-schakelaar. Als de stekker
in de IN-connector steekt, is de VD400 ingeschakeld.
Trek de stekker uit de IN-connector als u het apparaat
niet gebruikt. De batterij zal daardoor langer meegaan.
Het SERIENUMMER vindt u op de onderzijde.
2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Niet gebruiken in de buurt van water of warmtebronnen. Gebruik uitsluitend
geautoriseerde uitbreidingen/originele accessoires. Probeer nooit zelf
het apparaat te repareren. Neem voor reparaties of onderhoud contact
op met de leverancier, met name wanneer het netsnoer of de stekker
van het netsnoer beschadigd is.

DELAY VD400. Denna ultimativa eektpedal har koncipierats för att
leverera ett skojigt fördröjt ljud, som kan jämföras med moderna
studioprocessorer. Tack vare dess parameterkontroller kommer du att
ha en massa läckra ljud till ditt förfogande att kunna bemästra nästan
varje situation.
Fördröjningseekten skapar en fördröjning av ingångssignalen
med varierande upprepningar. Olika hastighetsinställningar tillåter
intressanta fördröjningseekter.
1. Betjäningsreglage
(1) REPEAT RATE kontrollen justerar fördröjningstiden
(upprepningsfrekvensen).
(2) Kontrollen ECHO justerar utgångsnivåns eekt.
(3) INTENSITY kontrollen justerar antalet upprepningar.
(4) ON/BATT LED tänds, när eekten är aktiverad. Den tjänar även som
indikator för batterinivån.
(5) Använd fotkontakten för att aktivera/avaktivera eekten.
(6) Använd denna ¼" TS IN kontakt för anslutningen av
instrumentets kabel.
(7) ¼" TS OUT kontakten sänder signalen till din förstärkare.
(8) ¼" TS DIR OUT kontakten sänder den naturliga signalen
för anslutning, till exempel till en separat förstärkare.
◊ ◊ Om du använder bara OUT kontakten, så sänder den den
bearbetade signalen och, när den är avaktiverad, den
naturliga signalen. När du använder både OUT och DIR OUT,
så agerar VD400 som en A/B låda. När den är aktiverad
innebär detta att OUT endast sänder ekosignalen medan
DIR OUT överför den torra signalen. När den är deaktiverad
är OUT ljudlös medan DIR OUT sänder den opåverkade
signalen. När OUT är avaktiverad, är den brusspärrad,
eftersom DIR OUT sänder den naturliga signalen.
Använd DC IN kontakten för att ansluta ett 9 V nätaggregat (följer inte med).
BATTERIFACKET är placerat under pedalens lock. För att sätta i eller
byta ut 9V batteriet (följer inte med), tryck på fästanordningen med
en kulspetspenna och ta bort pedalens lock. Var försiktig och repa
inte enheten.
◊ ◊ VD400 har ingen på/från-brytare. Så snart som du sätter
i proppen i IN-kontakten är VD400 påkopplad. När den
inte används, ta ut proppen ur IN-kontakten. Det förlänger
batteriets livstid.
SERIENUMRET benner sig på undersidan.
2. Säkerhetsinstruktioner
Får inte användas i närheten av vatten eller installeras nära värmekällor.
Använd endast godkända delar/tillbehör. Utför aldrig själv någon service
på produkten. Kontakta vår kvalicerade servicepersonal för service

VINTAGE DELAY VD400. To urządzenie efektowe pozwala na uzyskanie
zdumiewającego opóźnienia dźwięku porównywalnego z osiągnięciami
najnowocześniejszych procesorów w studiach nagraniowych.
Dzięki parametrom sterowania użytkownik może wytworzyć wiele
imponujących dźwięków na niemal każdą okazję.
Efekt opóźnienia powoduje opóźnienie sygnału wejściowego
z różnymi powtórzeniami. Zróżnicowane ustawienia tempa
pozwalają na otrzymanie interesujących efektów opóźnienia.
1. Sterowanie
(1) REPEAT RATE reguluje czas opóźnienia (tempo powtarzania).
(2) ECHO reguluje poziom wyjściowy efektu.
(3) INTENSITY reguluje liczbę powtórzeń.
(4) Dioda ON/BATT LED świeci, gdy efekt jest włączony. Służy także
jako wskaźnik poziomu naładowania akumulatora.
(5) Użyj przełącznika nożnego, aby włączyć/wyłączyć efekt.
(6) Użyj złącza ¼" TS IN do podłączenia kabla instrumentu.
(7) Złącze ¼" TS OUT wysyła sygnał do wzmacniacza.
(8) Złącze ¼" TS DIR OUT wysyła niezmieniony sygnał w celu
połączenia, np. do osobnego wzmacniacza.
◊ ◊ Jeżeli używasz tylko złącza OUT, wyśle ono zmieniony sygnał,
a w przypadku deaktywacji, niezmieniony sygnał.
W przypadku użycia zarówno złącza OUT, jak i DIR OUT,
VD400 będzie działać jak skrzynka A/B. Oznacza to, że po
włączeniu na złączu OUT pojawia się sygnał echa (pogłosu),
a na złącze DIR OUT podawany jest sygnał nieprzetworzony.
Po wyłączeniu układu sygnał na złączu OUT zostaje wyciszony,
natomiast na złączu DIR OUT dostępny jest sygnał
nieprzetworzony. W przypadku deaktywacji złącze OUT
jest wyciszone, natomiast złącze DIR OUT wysyła
niezmieniony sygnał.
Użyj złącza DC IN do podłączenia zasilacza 9 V (nie wchodzi
w zakres dostawy).
KOMORA AKUMULATORA jest umieszczona pod osłoną pedału.
Aby włożyć lub wymienić akumulator 9 V (nie wchodzi w zakres dostawy),
naciśnij zawiasy długopisem i zdejmij osłonę. Uważaj, aby nie
porysować modułu.
◊ ◊ VD400 nie ma włącznika/wyłącznika. Po włożeniu
wtyczki do złącza IN, VD400 jest włączony. Jeżeli nie
używasz urządzenia, wyciągnij wtyczkę ze złącza IN.
Przedłuży to żywotność akumulatora.
NUMER SERYJNY jest umieszczony w dolnej części urządzenia.
2. Wskazówki Bezpieczeństwa
Nie używać w pobliżu wody ani nie instalować w pobliżu źródeł ciepła.
Stosować wyłącznie dodatki/akcesoria dopuszczone przez producenta.
Nie naprawiać urządzenia samodzielnie. Serwisowanie i naprawy zlecać
naszemu wykwalikowanego personelowi, szczególnie w przypadku
uszkodzeń przewodu lub wtyku sieciowego.
