Putting the transmitter unit into operation
The transmitter unit can be powered either by the mains power supply via the power adapter plug [21] or by
4 rechargeable or standard AAA batteries.
Inserting the batteries in the transmitter unit
The batteries for the transmitter unit are not included with the equipment supplied.
Loosen the screw holding the battery compartment cover [24]
using an appropriate screwdriver and remove the battery
compartment cover [23].
Insert the batteries (4 x AAA) in the battery compartment, paying
attention to correct polarity.
Replace the battery compartment cover [23] and tighten the screw
in the battery compartment cover [24] with an appropriate screwdriver.
The transmitter can be operated with 4 "AAA" batteries (not contained in the material supplied) or
with rechargeable batteries of the same type. Please remember that the batteries cannot be re
charged directly in the device. A commercially available charging unit is required.
Connecting the transmitter unit via the power adapter plug
Connect the power adapter plug to the power adapter socket [21] on the transmitter unit and a prop
erly installed mains power outlet. The transmitter unit is switched on automatically.
Switching the transmitter unit on/off
The transmitter unit continues to transmit even when the receiver unit is switched off. The signals
can be received by other devices.

Operating indicator on transmitter unit
Operating indicator [17] lights up. Transmitter unit is switched on.
Registering/Deregistering transmitter units
5 sec. [4] Operating indicator [17] flashes quickly.
5 sec.
[20] Operating indicator [17] flashes slowly.
After about one minute, the operating indicator [17] lights up continuously - the transmitter unit is
registered on the receiver unit.
