1. Bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten
•
Lesen Sie sich bitte die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch. So werden Sie mit Ihrem neuen Gerät ver-
traut, lernen alle Funktionen und Bestandteile kennen, erfahren wichtige Details für die Inbetrieb-
nahme und den Umgang mit dem Gerät und erhalten Tipps für den Störungsfall.

Durch die Beachtung der Bedienungsanleitung vermeiden Sie auch Beschädigungen des Gerätes und
die Gefährdung Ihrer gesetzlichen Mängelrechte durch Fehlgebrauch.

Für Schäden, die aus Nichtbeachtung dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht werden, übernehmen

Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Einsatzbereich geeignet. Verwenden Sie
das Produkt nicht anders, als in dieser Anleitung dargestellt wird.

Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des Gerätes ist nicht gestattet.

Verletzungsgefahr:
•
Bewahren Sie das Gerät und die Batterien außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.
• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren und können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich
sein. Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, kann dies innerhalb von 2 Stunden zu schweren inneren Verät-
zungen und zum Tode führen. Wenn Sie vermuten, eine Batterie könnte verschluckt oder anderweitig
in den Körper gelangt sein, nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch.
• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinander nehmen oder aufladen. Explosionsgefahr!
• Um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien möglichst schnell ausge-
tauscht werden. Verwenden Sie nie gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien oder Batterien unterschiedli-
chen Typs.
• Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien chemikalienbeständige Schutzhandschuhe und Schutz-
brille tragen!
Bitte beachten Sie folgende Hinweise, wenn Sie das Gerät mit einem Netzteil betreiben.
(Netzteil ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten)
Vorsicht!
Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag!
•
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit einer Netzspannung
von 230V an!
•
Die Steckdose muss nahe der Einrichtung angebracht und leicht zugänglich sein.
•
Verwenden Sie nur ein passendes Universalnetzteil, das auf 4,5 V einstellbar ist.
•
Das Gerät und das Netzteil dürfen nicht mit Wasser oder Feuchtigkeit in Kontakt kommen. Nur für
den Betrieb in trockenen Innenräumen geeignet.
•
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Gehäuse oder Netzteil beschädigt sind.
•
Bewahren Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Personen (auch Kindern) auf, die mögliche
Gefahren im Umgang mit elektrischen Geräten nicht richtig einschätzen können.
•
Ziehen Sie sofort den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn eine Störung auftritt oder das Gerät für länge-
re Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
•
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht am Kabel aus der Steckdose.
•
Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass es nicht mit scharfkantigen oder heißen Gegenständen in Berüh-
rung kommt.

• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütterungen aus.
• Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen.

6. Inbetriebnahme
•
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und legen Sie die Batterien (2 x 1,5 V AA und 3 x 1,5 V C) ein.
•
Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität beim Einlegen der Batterien.
•
Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
•
Die zwei Batterien 1,5 V AA werden für die Funktion der Uhr benötigt.
•
Die drei Batterien 1,5 V C werden für die Hintergrundbeleuchtung benötigt.
•
Für die Hintergrundbeleuchtung können Sie anstelle der 3 x 1,5 V C Batterien auch optional ein Uni-
versalnetzteil einsetzen, das auf 4,5 V einstellbar ist (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
•
Stecken Sie den Anschlussstecker in den Anschluss und schließen Sie das Gerät mit dem Netzstecker
am Stromnetz an. Wichtig! Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Netzspannung nicht mehr als 230 V beträgt!
Andere Netzspannungen können zur Beschädigung des Instrumentes führen. Achtung: Die Beleuch-
tung im Dauerbetrieb funktioniert nur über Netzadapter!
•
Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.
•
Ein kurzer Signalton ertönt und es werden alle LCD Segmente kurz angezeigt.
•
Die Uhr versucht nun, das Funksignal zu empfangen und das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen blinkt. Wenn
der Zeitcode nach 3-10 Minuten empfangen wurde, werden die funkgesteuerte Zeit, das Datum und
das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen ständig im Display angezeigt.
•
Der DCF-Funksignalempfang findet täglich um 2:00 und 3:00 Uhr morgens statt. Ist auch der Funk-
empfang um 3:00 Uhr nicht erfolgreich, so finden bis 5:00 Uhr früh weitere Funkempfangsversuche
statt.
•
Ist kein Funkempfang möglich, können Sie die Initialisierung auch manuell starten.
•
Halten Sie die

•
Zum Deaktivieren des DCF-Funkempfangs halten Sie die
▼
/°C/°F Taste
noch einmal für drei Sekunden
gedrückt. Das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen verschwindet.
•
Es gibt drei verschiedene Funkempfangssymbole:
blinkt - Empfang aktiv
bleibt stehen - Empfang erfolgreich
kein Symbol – Empfang wurde deaktiviert
•
Falls die Funkuhr kein DCF-Funksignal empfangen kann (z.B. wegen Störungen, Übertragungsdistanz,
etc.), kann die Zeit manuell eingestellt werden. Das DCF-Funkempfangszeichen verschwindet und die
Uhr arbeitet dann wie eine normale Quarz-Uhr (siehe „Manuelle Einstellung von Uhrzeit und Kalen-
der”).
7. Empfang der Funkzeit
Die Zeitübertragung erfolgt von einer Cäsium Atom-Funkuhr, die von der Physikalisch Technischen Bun-
desanstalt in Braunschweig betrieben wird. Die Abweichung beträgt weniger als 1 Sekunde in einer Mil-
lion Jahren. Die Zeit ist kodiert und wird von Mainflingen in der Nähe von Frankfurt am Main durch ein
DCF-77 (77.5 kHz) Frequenzsignal übertragen mit einer Reichweite von ca. 1.500 km. Ihre Funkuhr emp-
fängt das Signal, wandelt es um und zeigt immer die exakte Zeit an. Auch die Umstellung von Sommer-
und Winterzeit erfolgt automatisch. Während der Sommerzeit erscheint DST im Display. Der Empfang
hängt hauptsächlich von der geographischen Lage ab. Im Normalfall sollten innerhalb des Radius von
1.500 km ausgehend von Frankfurt bei der Übertragung keine Probleme auftauchen.
Bitte beachten Sie folgende Hinweise:
•
Es wird empfohlen, einen Abstand von mindestens 1,5 – 2 Metern zu eventuell störenden Geräten wie
Computerbildschirmen und Fernsehgeräten einzuhalten.
•
In Stahlbetonbauten (Kellern, Aufbauten) ist das empfangene Signal natürlicherweise schwächer. In
Extremfällen wird empfohlen, das Gerät in Fensternähe zu platzieren und/oder durch Drehen das
Funksignal besser zu empfangen.
•
Nachts sind die atmosphärischen Störungen meist geringer und ein Empfang ist in den meisten Fällen
möglich. Ein einziger Empfang pro Tag genügt, um die Genauigkeit zu gewährleisten und Abwei-
chungen unter 1 Sekunde zu halten.
8. Bedienung

Halten Sie die

im jeweiligen Einstellmodus gedrückt, gelangen Sie in den
Schnelllauf.
•
Das Gerät verlässt automatisch den Einstellmodus, wenn länger als 15 Sekunden keine Taste gedrückt
wird.
8.1 Manuelle Einstellung von Uhrzeit und Kalender
•
Halten Sie die
MODE/SET Taste
im Normalmodus für drei Sekunden gedrückt.
•
Die Zeitzonenkorrektur (0 Voreinstellung) blinkt im Display.
•
Die Zeitzonenkorrektur wird benötigt, wenn das DCF Signal empfangen werden kann, die Zeitzone
(+12/-12) sich aber von der DCF Zeit unterscheidet (z.B. +1=eine Stunde später).
•
Stellen Sie mit der
▲
/12/24
oder
▼
/°C/°F Taste
die Korrektur für die Zeitzone ein.
•
Drücken Sie die
MODE/SET
Taste noch einmal und Sie können nun nacheinander die Stunden, die
Minuten, die Sekunden, das Jahr, den Monat, den Tag und die Sprache für den Wochentag ansteuern
und mit der
▲
/12/24
oder
▼
/°C/°F
Taste einstellen.
•
Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit der
MODE/SET
Taste.
•
Spracheinstellung für den Wochentag: Deutsch (GER), Englisch (ENG), Französisch (FRE) Spanisch
(SPA), Niederländisch (DUT), Italienisch ( ITAL), Polnisch (POL) und Tschechisch (CZE).
•
Bei erfolgreichem Empfang des DCF-Signals wird die manuell eingestellte Zeit überschrieben.
8.2 24- oder 12-Stunden-Anzeige
•
Mit der
▲
/12/24
Taste können Sie im Normalmodus zwischen dem 24 – oder 12 - Stunden Anzeigefor-
mat (AM oder PM erscheint im Display) auswählen.
•
Bei dem 12-Stunden-Anzeigeformat wechselt automatisch die Datumsanzeige von der europäischen
Anzeige (erst der Tag, dann der Monat) auf die amerikanische Anzeige (erst der Monat, dann der
Tag).
8.3 Temperaturanzeige
•
Drücken Sie die
▼
/°C/°F Taste
im Normalmodus und Sie können zwischen Celsius (°C) oder Fahrenheit
(°F) als Temperaturanzeige auswählen.
8.4 Einstellung des Weckalarms
•
Drücken Sie die
MODE/SET
Taste im Normalmodus, um in den Alarmmodus zu gelangen.
•
AL und 0:00 (Voreinstellung) oder die zuletzt eingestellte erste Weckzeit wird auf dem Display ange-
zeigt.
•
Halten Sie die
MODE/SET
Taste für drei Sekunden gedrückt.
•
Die Stundenanzeige blinkt.
•
Stellen Sie mit der
▲
/12/24
oder
▼
/°C/°F Taste
die Stunden ein.
•
Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit der
MODE/SET
Taste und stellen Sie die Minuten ein.
•
Bestätigen Sie die Eingabe mit der
MODE/SET
Taste.
•
Auf dem Display erscheint die eingestellte Weckzeit.
•
Drücken Sie die
MODE/SET
Taste noch einmal, um zur aktuellen Uhrzeit zurückzukehren.
8.5 Aktivieren und Deaktivieren des Weckalarms
•
Um die Alarm-Funktion zu aktivieren und zu deaktivieren, drücken Sie die
ALARM/ON/OFF Taste
im
Normalmodus.
•
Das Alarmsymbol oder kein Alarmsymbol erscheint im Display.
•
Wenn die eingestellte Weckzeit erreicht ist, beginnt der Wecker zu klingeln.
•
Das Alarmsymbol blinkt.
•
Drücken Sie auf eine beliebige Taste und der Alarm wird beendet.
•
Wird der Alarm nicht unterbrochen, schaltet sich der ansteigende Alarmton automatisch nach zwei
Minuten aus und aktiviert sich erneut zur gleichen Weckzeit wieder.
•
Das Alarmsymbol bleibt im Display stehen.
•
Wenn der Wecker klingelt, drücken Sie die
SNOOZE
Taste, um die Snooze-Funktion zu aktivieren.
•
Ist die Snooze-Funktion aktiviert, blinkt Zz auf dem Display.
•
Der Alarm wird für die Dauer von 4 Minuten unterbrochen.
•
Die Snooze-Funktion kann bis zu achtmal aktiviert werden.
•
Drücken Sie die
ALARM/ON/OFF Taste
, um die Snooze-Funktion auszuschalten.
•
Das Snooze-Symbol verschwindet.
8.6 Hintergrundbeleuchtung
•
Das Gerät verfügt über eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung, die auch bei heller Umgebung sichtbar ist und
eine Nachtbeleuchtung, die die Anzeige bei Dunkelheit ablesbar macht.
8.6.1 Batteriebetrieb
•
Drücken Sie die
SNOOZE
Taste, um die Hintergrundbeleuchtung für 5 Sekunden zu aktivieren.
•
Stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter
ON/ECO/OFF
auf die Position ECO oder ON, schaltet sich automatisch
die Nachtbeleuchtung an, sobald der Lichtsensor Dunkelheit registriert.
•
Um die Nachtbeleuchtung auszuschalten, stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter
ON/ECO/OFF
auf die Position
OFF.
8.6.2 Betrieb mit Netzteil (optional)
•
Achtung: Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung im Dauerbetrieb funktioniert nur über Netzadapter!
•
Um die Hintergrundbeleuchtung dauerhaft zu nutzen, stellen Sie den Schiebeschalter
ON/ECO/OFF
auf die Position ECO oder ON.
•
Bei der Position ON ist die Hintergrundbeleuchtung dauerhaft aktiv (bei Helligkeit und bei Dunkel-
heit).
•
Bei der Position ECO schaltet sich bei Dunkelheit die Nachtbeleuchtung an.
•
Um die dauerhafte Hintergrundbeleuchtung und die Nachtbeleuchtung auszuschalten, stellen Sie den
Schiebeschalter
ON/ECO/OFF
auf die Position OFF.
•
Drücken Sie die
SNOOZE
Taste, um die Hintergrundbeleuchtung für 5 Sekunden zu aktivieren.

9. Aufstellen und Befestigen
•
Hängen Sie die Funkuhr mit einem bis drei stabilen Nägeln oder Schrauben mit Dübeln an den Wand-
aufhängungen auf.
•
Sie können das Gerät mit dem ausklappbaren Ständer auf einer glatten Oberfläche aufstellen.
•
Hinweis: Sollten Sie die Funkuhr mit dem Netzadapter betreiben, legen Sie das Kabel in die dafür vor-
gesehene Kabelschiene auf der Rückseite ein.
10. Pflege und Wartung
•
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel
verwenden!
•
Entfernen Sie die Batterien und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Gerät längere
Zeit nicht verwenden.
•
Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.
10.1 Batteriewechsel
•
Sobald die Hintergrundbeleuchtung schwächer wird, wechseln Sie bitte die drei Batterien 1,5 V C.
•
Sobald das Batteriesymbol erscheint, wechseln Sie bitte die zwei Batterien 1,5 V AA.
•
Klappen Sie den Ständer ein.
•
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und legen Sie die neuen Batterien ein.
•
Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität beim Einlegen der Batterien.
•
Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
11. Fehlerbeseitigung

Wenn Ihr Gerät trotz dieser Maßnahmen immer noch nicht funktioniert, wenden Sie sich an den Händler,
bei dem Sie das Produkt gekauft haben.
12. Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt wurde unter Verwendung hochwertiger Materialien und Bestandteile hergestellt, die
recycelt und wiederverwendet werden können.
Batterien und Akkus dürfen keinesfalls in den Hausmüll!
Als Verbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich verpflichtet, gebrauchte Batterien und Akkus zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder entsprechenden Sammelstellen gemäß
nationalen oder lokalen Bestimmungen abzugeben.
Die Bezeichnungen für enthaltene Schwermetalle sind:
Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei
Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der EU-Richtlinie über die Entsorgung von Elektro- und Elek-
tronik-Altgeräten (WEEE) gekennzeichnet.
Dieses Produkt darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Der Nutzer ist verpflichtet, das
Altgerät zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung bei einer ausgewiesenen Annahmestelle für die

•
This product is exclusively intended for the field of application described above. It should only be
used as described within these instructions.
•
Unauthorized repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
•
Keep this device and the batteries out of reach of children.
• Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can
lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been
swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Never use
a combination of old and new batteries together, nor batteries of different types.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses when handling leaking batteries.
Please note the following when using the unit with an adapter.

Caution!
Risk of electrocution!
•
Plug the instrument only into a socket installed in regulation manner and with a mains voltage of
230V!
•
The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
•
Only use a suitable multi-function power supply which can be set to 4.5 V.
•
The instrument and the mains adapter must not come into contact with water or moisture. Only suit-
able for operation in dry interiors.
•
Do not use the unit if the housing or the mains adapter is damaged.
•
Keep the unit out of the reach of persons (including children) who cannot fully appreciate the poten-
tial risks of handling electrical equipment.
•
Pull the plug out of the socket immediately if any fault occurs or if the unit is not used for a long peri-
od of time.
•
Do not pull the plug out of the socket by its lead.
•
Route the mains lead so that it does not come into contact with sharp-edged or hot objects.

• Do not place your product near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
• Protect it from moisture.

6. Getting started
•
Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries (2 x 1,5 V AA and 3 x 1,5 V C).
•
Make sure the polarities are correct.
•
Close the battery compartment again.
•
The two 1.5 V AA batteries are required for the function of the clock.
•
The three 1,5 V C batteries are required for the backlight.
•
For the backlight, the device can also be operated by an optional multi-function power supply which
can be set to 4.5 V (not included), instead of the three batteries 1,5 V C.
•
Insert the adapter into the jack. Connect the power adapter to a wall socket. The unit is ready for use.
Important! Make sure that your household voltage is 230V! Otherwise your clock may be damaged.
Important: Continuous backlight operation only works with power adaptor!
•
The device will alert you with a beep and all LCD segments will be displayed for a short moment.
•
The clock will now scan the DCF frequency signal and the DCF symbol will be flashing on the LCD.
When the time code is received successfully after 3-10 minutes, the radio-controlled time, the date
and the DCF symbol are displayed steadily in the LCD.
•
The DCF reception always takes place at 2:00 and 3:00 o'clock in the morning. If the reception is not
successfully received at 3:00 clock, it shall be held further attempts until 5:00 clock.
•
If there is no reception possible, manual initialization can be helpful.
•

If the clock cannot detect the DCF-signal (for example due to disturbances, transmitting distance,
etc.), the time can be set manually. The DCF symbol disappears and the clock will then work as a nor-
mal quartz clock. (see: Manual setting of the clock and calendar).
7. Radio-controlled time reception
The time base for the radio-controlled time is a caesium atomic clock operated by the Physikalisch Tech-
nische Bundesanstalt Braunschweig. It has a time deviation of less than one second in one million years.
The time is coded and transmitted from Mainflingen near Frankfurt via frequency signal DCF-77 (77.5
kHz) and has a transmitting range of approximately 1,500 km. Changeover from summer time or winter
time is automatic. In Daylight Saving Time DST is shown on the LCD. The quality of the reception
depends mainly on the geographic location. Normally there should be no reception problems within a
1,500 km radius around Frankfurt.
Please take note of the following:
•
The recommended distance to any interfering sources like computer monitors or TV sets is at least 1.5
- 2 metres.
•
Inside ferro-concrete rooms (basements, superstructures), the received signal is naturally weakened.
In extreme cases, please place the unit close to a window to improve the reception.
•
During night-time, the atmospheric interference is usually less severe and reception is possible in most
cases. A single daily reception is adequate to keep the accuracy deviation under 1 second.
8. Operation

The instrument will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed within 15 seconds.
8.1 Manual setting of the clock and calendar
•
Press and hold

button in normal mode for three seconds.
•
The time zone correction (0 defaults) appears on the display.
•
The time zone correction is needed for countries where the DCF signal can be received but the time
zone (+12/-12) is different from the DCF time (e.g. +1=one hour later).

8.2 24 and 12 hours display
•
Press the

button in normal mode to choose between 24- and 12 HR system (AM or PM
appears on the display).
•
If the 12 HR system is chosen, the date display automatically moves from the European format (at first
the day then the month) to the American format (at first the month then the day).
8.3 Temperature display
•
Press the

button to change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.
8.4 Setting of the alarm
•
To enter alarm mode, press
MODE/SET
button in normal mode.
•
AL and 0:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time appear on the display.

button for three seconds.
•
The hour digits will be flashing.
•
Press the

8.5 Activate and deactivate the alarm
•
To activate and deactivate the alarm function press the
ALARM/ON/OFF
button in normal mode.
•
The alarm symbol or no alarm symbol appears on the display.
•
When the adjusted alarm time is reached, the alarm will ring.
•
The alarm symbol will be flashing.
•
Press any button and the alarm will stop.
•
If the alarm is not stopped manually, the increasing alarm will automatically turn off after two minutes
and will be reactivated at the same time.
•
The alarm symbol stays in the display.
•
When the alarm rings, press the
SNOOZE
button and the snooze function will be activated.
•
Once the snooze function will be activated, Zz will be flashing on the display.
•
The alarm will be interrupted for 4 minutes.
•
The snooze function can be activated up to eight times.
•
To turn off the snooze function press the
ALARM/ON/OFF
button.
•
The snooze symbol disappears.
8.6 Backlight
•
The device is equipped with a backlight which is also visible in bright ambient light and a night light-
ing which enables the user to read the display in the dark.
8.6.1 Battery operation
•
Press the
SNOOZE
button to activate the backlight for 5 seconds.
•
Slide the
ON/ECO/OFF
switch to ECO or ON and the night lighting turns on automatically as soon as
the light sensor registers darkness.
•
To deactivate the night lighting slide the
ON/ECO/OFF
switch to the position OFF.
8.6.2 Adapter operation (optional)
•
Note: Continuous backlight operation will only work with power adaptor!
•
To activate the backlight permanently, slide the
ON/ECO/OFF
switch to the position ECO or ON.
•
In the position ON the backlight is permanently active (by daylight and darkness)
•
In ECO position the night lighting will be activated at darkness.
•
To deactivate the permanent backlight and the night lighting slide the
ON/ECO/OFF
switch to the
position OFF.
•
Press the
SNOOZE
button to activate the backlight for 5 seconds.

9. Positioning and fixing
•
Hang the clock with one to three stable nails or screws with plugs using the wall mount holes.
•
With the foldable leg the instrument can be placed onto flat surfaces.
•
Note: If you operate the clock with an adapter, insert the cable into the provided cable holder on the
back.

10. Care and maintenance
•
Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
•
Remove the batteries and pull out the plug of the socket, if you do not use the product for a long
period of time.
•
Keep the instrument in a dry place.
10.1 Battery replacement
•
Change the three 1,5 V C batteries when the backlight becomes weak.
•
Change the two 1,5 V AA batteries, when the battery symbol appears on the display.
•
Fold in the stand.
•
Open the battery compartment and insert the new batteries.
•
Make sure the polarities are correct.
•
Close the battery compartment again.

12. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can be recycled
and reused.
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste.
As a consumer, you are legally required to take them to your retail store or to an appro-
priate collection site depending on national or local regulations in order to protect the en-
vironment.
The symbols for the heavy metals contained are:

6. Mise en service
•
Ouvrez le compartiment à piles et insérez les cinq piles (2 x 1,5 V AA et 3 x 1,5 V C).
•
Contrôlez la bonne polarité des piles avant de les insérer.
•
Refermez le compartiment à piles.
•
Les deux piles AA à 1,5 V sont nécessaires pour le fonctionnement de l'horloge.
•
Les trois piles C à 1,5 V sont nécessaires pour l'éclairage de fond.
•
Pour l'éclairage de fond de votre appareil, vous pouvez aussi acheter un adaptateur secteur multi-
fonction optionnel qui peut être réglé sur 4,5 V que (non incluses) vous pouvez utiliser à la place des
piles 3 x 1,5 V C.
•
Mettez le connecteur dans la prise de l’horloge et branchez-le au secteur avec l'adaptateur. Important !
Une tension de réseau de plus de 230 V pourrait endommager votre appareil. Une autre tension de
réseau pourrait également endommager votre appareil. Note : L’éclairage en continu fonctionne uni-
quement avec un adaptateur secteur d’alimentation !
•
Votre appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.
•
Un signal sonore se fait entendre et tous les segments LCD s'allument.
•
L’horloge cherche le signal radio et le symbole de réception DCF clignote. En cas de réception correc-
te, (3-10 minutes) l’heure radio s’affiche et le symbole reste affiché en continu.
•
La réception du signal DCF a lieu à 2.00 et 3.00 heures du matin. Au cas où la réception à 3 heures du
matin n'aurait pas de succès, un nouvel essai de réception sera effectué à 5 heures ou bien toutes les
heures jusqu'à ce qu'il réussisse.
•
Si aucune réception n'est possible, vous pouvez activer manuellement la réception de l’heure radio.

Il y a 3 symboles de réception différents :
Le symbole clignote – réception activée
Le symbole reste affiché – réception bonne
pas de symbole – réception désactivée
•
Si votre horloge radio-pilotée ne peut pas recevoir le signal DCF (par exemple en raison de la présence
de perturbations, d’une distance de transmission excessive etc.), vous pouvez procéder à un paramé-
trage manuel. Dans ce cas, l’horloge fonctionne comme une horloge à quartz normale (voir Réglage
manuel de l'horloge et du calendrier).
7. Réception de l'heure radio
La transmission de l’heure radio-pilotée s’effectue via une horloge atomique au césium, exploitée par la
Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt de Braunschweig (Institut Fédéral Physico-Technique de Braun-
schweig). L’écart de précision de cette horloge est d' 1 seconde pour un million d’années. L’heure est dif-
fusée à partir de Mainflingen, près de Francfort sur le Main, grâce à un signal DCF-77 (77,5 kHz), d'une
une portée d’environ 1500 km. Le passage de l'heure d'hiver à l'heure d'été et vice-et-versa s'effectue
également en mode automatique. Pendant l’heure d’été, DSt apparaît à l'écran. La réception est essen-
tiellement en fonction de votre position géographique. En règle générale, dans un rayon de 1 500 km
autour de Francfort, aucun problème de transmission ne devrait apparaître.
Nous vous prions de respecter les consignes suivantes :
•
Nous vous recommandons de respecter une distance de 1,5 - 2 m entre l'appareil et d’éventuelles
sources de signaux parasites, comme les écrans d'ordinateurs et les postes de télévision.
•
Dans les bâtiments en béton armé (caves, greniers aménagés), le signal reçu est affaibli. Dans les cas
extrêmes, nous vous conseillons de placer l’appareil près d’une fenêtre de manière à améliorer la
réception du signal radio.
•
La nuit, les perturbations s’affaiblissent en règle générale et la réception est possible dans la plupart
des cas. Un seul signal par jour suffit pour garantir la précision de l’affichage de l’heure, et pour main-
tenir d’éventuels écarts en dessous d' 1 seconde.

8.1 Réglage manuel de l'heure et du calendrier

Vous avez la possibilité d'utiliser une autre fuseau horaire (+12/-12), si votre horloge radio-pilotée
peut recevoir le signal DCF, cependant, l'heure de votre fuseau horaire sera différente de l’heure DCF
(par exemple : +1 = une heure oplus tard).

9. Fixer au mur ou poser
•
Accrochez l'horloge en utilisant un, deux ou trois clous ou vis stables avec des chevilles sur les sup-
ports muraux.

Le support dépliable vous permet de placez l'appareil sur une surface plate.
•
Note : Si vous utilisez l'horloge avec l'adaptateur secteur, insérez le câble dans le support de câble
fourni au revers.
10. Entretien et maintenance
•
Pour le nettoyage de l'appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et humide. N’utilisez pas de solvants ou
d´agents abrasifs !

Enlevez les piles et retirez la fiche de la prise, si vous n'utilisez pas votre appareil pendant une durée
prolongée.

Conservez votre appareil dans un endroit sec.
10.1 Remplacement des piles

Remplacez les 3 piles 1,5 V C si l’éclairage de fond s'affaiblit.

Si le symbole de la pile apparaît sur l'écran, changez les 2 piles 1,5 V AA.

Relevez le support.

6. Messa in funzione
•
Aprire il vano batteria e inserire le batterie (2 x 1,5 V AA e 3 x 1,5 V C).
•
Accertarsi di aver rispettato la corretta polarità.
•
Richiudere il vano batteria.
•
Le due batterie da 1,5 V AA sono necessarie per la funzione orologio.
•
Le tre batterie da 1,5 V C sono necessarie per la retroilluminazione.
•
Per la retroilluminazione, anziché le tre batterie da 1,5 V C, è possibile utilizzare un alimentatore multi-
funzione opzionale che può essere impostato su 4,5 V (non incluso).
•
Inserire l'alimentatore nello spinotto e collegare l'adattatore ad una presa a terra. Avvertenza impor-
tante! Controllare che il voltaggio della vostra abitazione sia 230V, perché altrimenti il dispositivo
potrebbe essere danneggiato. Tensioni diverse possono danneggiare lo strumento. Nota: L'illumina-
zione continua funziona solo con l'alimentatore!
•
L'apparecchio è pronto per l'uso.
•
Un breve segnale acustico verrà emesso e tutti i segmenti dell'LCD appaiono contemporaneamente.
•
L'orologio inizia a ricevere il segnale radio e il simbolo della ricezione del segnale DCF inizia a lam-
peggiare. Se il codice dell'ora è stato ricevuto entro 3-10 minuti, viene visualizzata la data, l'ora radio-
controllata e appare il simbolo della ricezione del segnale DCF.
•
La ricezione del segnale DCF avverrà due volte al giorno: alle 2:00 e alle 3.00. Se la ricezione non sarà
avvenuta con successo entro le 3.00, viene eseguito un altro tentativo ad ogni ora, fino alle 5.00.
•
In caso di mancata ricezione del segnale, è possibile avviare l'inizializzazione manuale.

Nel caso in cui l’orologio non riesca a ricevere il segnale DCF (a causa di guasti, della distanza di tra-
smissione, ecc.), l'ora può essere impostata manualmente. L'orologio funziona come un normale oro-
logio al quarzo (vedi: Impostazione manuale dell'ora e della data).
7. Informazioni sull'ora radiocontrollata DCF
L'ora viene trasmessa da un orologio atomico al cesio gestito dal Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt
di Braunschweig. La deviazione è inferiore a 1 secondo in un milione di anni. L'ora è codificata e tra-
smessa da Mainflingen, vicino Francoforte, con un segnale a frequenza DCF - 77 (77,5 kHz) entro un rag-
gio di 1.500 km. Anche il passaggio tra ora solare e ora legale è automatico. Durante il periodo estivo
DST appare sul display. La qualità della ricezione dipende molto dalla posizione geografica. In circostan-
ze normali e in assenza di problemi di ricezione, dovrebbe avvenire entro il raggio di 1.500 km da Fran-
coforte.
Rispettate le norme elencate qui di seguito:
•
La distanza raccomandata da qualsiasi fonte di interferenza come monitor di computer o televisori
deve essere di almeno 1.5 - 2m.
•
All'interno di strutture in cemento armato (seminterrati, sovrastrutture) la ricezione del segnale è
naturalmente più debole. In casi estremi si consiglia di sistemare l'unità vicino ad una finestra per
ottenere una migliore ricezione del segnale.
•
Durante le ore notturne, le interferenze dovute ad agenti atmosferici sono normalmente meno
influenti e la ricezione è possibile nella maggior parte dei casi. Una singola ricezione giornaliera è suf-
ficiente a garantire la precisione e a mantenere la deviazione al di sotto di un secondo.

Quando suona la sveglia innestare la funzione snooze con il tasto

8.6 Retroilluminazione
•
Il dispositivo è dotato di una retroilluminazione che è visibile anche in piena luce, e di una illumina-
zione notturna, che rende il display leggibile al buio.

9. Posizionamento e fissaggio
•
Appendere l'orologio con 1-3 chiodi stabili o viti con tasselli su i ganci a parete.
•
Con il supporto pieghevole è possibile posizionare l'apparecchio su superfici piane.
•
Nota: Se si fa funzionare l'orologio con l'alimentatore, inserire il cavo nella canalina sul retro.
10. Cura e manutenzione

10.1 Sostituzione delle batterie
•
Cambiare le tre batterie 1,5 V C se la retroilluminazione diventa più debole.

Cambiare le due batterie 1,5 V AA se il simbolo della batteria appare sul display.

Ribaltare il supporto.
•
Aprire il vano batteria e inserire le batterie nuove.

Accertarsi di aver rispettato la corretta polarità.

1. Voor u met het apparaat gaat werken
•
Leest u a.u.b. de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig door. Zo raakt u vertrouwd met uw nieuw apparaat
en leert u alle functies en onderdelen kennen, komt u belangrijke details te weten met het oog op
het in bedrijf stellen van het apparaat en de omgang ermee en krijgt u tips voor het geval van een
storing.

Door rekening te houden met wat er in de handleiding staat, vermijdt u ook beschadigingen van het
apparaat en riskeert u niet dat uw wettelijke rechten door verkeerd gebruik niet meer gelden.

4. Voor uw veiligheid
•
Het product is uitsluitend geschikt voor de hierboven beschreven doeleinden. Gebruik het product
niet anders dan in deze handleiding is aangegeven.

Het eigenmachtig repareren, verbouwen of veranderen van het apparaat is niet toegestaan.
Voorzichtig!
Kans op letsel:
•
Bewaar het apparaat en de batterijen buiten de reikwijdte van kinderen.
• Batterijen bevatten zuren die de gezondheid schaden. Het inslikken van batterijen kan levensgevaar-
lijk zijn. Als een batterij wordt ingeslikt, kan dit binnen 2 uur tot ernstige interne brandwonden en
tot fataal letsel leiden. Als u denkt dat de batterijen zijn ingeslikt of in een willekeurig lichaamsdeel
terecht zijn gekomen, dient u onmiddellijk medische hulp te zoeken.
• Batterijen niet in het vuur gooien, niet kortsluiten, niet uit elkaar halen of opladen. Kans op explosie!
• Zwakke batterijen moeten zo snel mogelijk worden vervangen om lekkage van de batterijen te voor-
komen. Gebruik nooit tegelijkertijd oude en nieuwe batterijen of batterijen van een verschillend
type.
• Draag handschoenen die bestand zijn tegen chemicaliën en een beschermbril wanneer u met uitgelo-
pen batterijen hanteert!
Let op het volgende bij het gebruik van het apparaat met een stroomadapter.

Levensgevaar door elektrocutie!
•
Sluit het basisapparaat uitsluitend aan op een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerd stopcontact met
een netspanning van 230V!
•
Het stopcontact moet zich dicht bij de apparatuur bevinden en gemakkelijk toegankelijk zijn.
•
Gebruik uitsluitend een multifunctionele stroomadapter die kan worden ingesteld op 4,5 V.
•
Apparaat en netvoeding mogen niet met water of vocht in aanraking komen. Ze zijn alleen geschikt
voor gebruik in droge binnenruimten.
•
Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer de behuizing of de netvoeding beschadigd is.
•
Bewaar het apparaat buiten de reikwijdte van personen (ook kinderen) die de mogelijke gevaren van
de omgang met elektrische apparaten zouden kunnen onderschatten.
•
Trek onmiddellijk de oplader uit het stopcontact als er een storing optreedt of wanneer het apparaat
gedurende langere tijd niet zal worden gebruikt.
•
Trek de stekker niet aan de kabel uit het stopcontact.
•
Leg het snoer zo neer dat het niet met scherpe of hete voorwerpen in aanraking komt.

6. Inbedrijfstelling
•
Maak het batterijvak open en plaats er de batterijen (2 x 1,5 V AA en 3 x 1,5 V C) in.
•
Let op de juiste polariteit bij het plaatsen van de batterijen.
•
Sluit het batterijvak weer.
•
De twee batterijen 1,5 V AA zijn nodig voor de werking van de klok.
•
De drie 1,5 V C batterijen zijn nodig voor de schermverlichting.
•
Voor de schermverlichting, kan het apparaat ook van een optionele multifunctionele stroomadapter
gebruik maken, die kan worden ingesteld op 4,5 V, i.p.v. 3 x 1,5 V C batterijen (niet meegeleverd).
•
Steek de verbindingsstekker in de adapter en de stekker van de adapter in een stopcontact. Belangrijk!
Zorg ervoor dat de spanning van het stroomnet onder 230 V ligt! Andere netspanningen kunnen het
toestel beschadigen. Opmerking: De verlichting in continubedrijf werkt alleen met stroomadapter!
•
Het apparaat is nu bedrijfsklaar.
•
U hoort een kort signaal en alle segmenten van het scherm verschijnen kort.
•
Het apparaat probeert nu het tijdsignaal te ontvangen en het DCF-ontvangstsymbool knippert. Bij
succesvol ontvangst (na 3 à 10 minuten) verschijnt de zendergestuurde tijd en het DCF-ontvangstsym-
bool permanent op het display.
•
Het DCF-Signaal wordt dagelijks om 2:00 en 3:00 uur ontvangen. Is de ontvangst om 3:00 uur niet
geslaagd, zo zal tot 5:00 uur een ontvangstpoging worden gedaan.
•
Wanneer er geen ontvangst mogelijk is, kunt u de initiatie ook handmatig starten.
•

•
Als de klok geen DCF-signaal ontvangt (wegens storingen, afstand, enz.), kunt u de tijd ook handma-
tig instellen. De klok werkt dan als een gewone kwartsklok (zie: Manuele tijd- en kalenderinstelling).
7. Zendergestuurde tijdsignaal DCF:
De tijdbasis voor de zendergestuurde tijd is een cesium-atoomklok van het Physikalisch Technische Bun-
desanstalt Braunschweig. Met een afwijking van minder dan 1 seconde in een miljoen jaar. De tijd is
gecodeerd en wordt vanuit Mainflingen in de buurt van Frankfurt aan de Main door een DCF-77 (77,5
kHz) frequentiesignaal uitgezonden met een bereik van ongeveer 1500 km. Zelfs de overgang van
zomer- naar wintertijd gebeurt automatisch. Gedurende de zomertijd verschijnt DST op het display. Die
kwaliteit van de ontvangst hangt in belangrijke mate af van de geografische ligging. Normaliter zouden
er binnen een straal van 1.500 km rondom Frankfurt geen ontvangstproblemen mogen zijn.
Let alstublieft op het volgende:
•
De afstand van mogelijke storingsbronnen zoals computerbeeldschermen of tv-toestellen dient ten-
minste 1,5 à 2 meter te zijn.
•
In ruimten met gewapend beton (kelders, torenflats) wordt het signaal uiteraard verzwakt ontvan-
gen. In extreme gevallen, plaatst u het apparaat in de buurt van een raam en / of draait u het appa-
raat om een beter ontvangst te verkrijgen.
•
's Nachts zijn atmosferische storingen over het algemeen minder ernstig en is ontvangst in de meeste
gevallen wel mogelijk. Een enkele ontvangst per dag is voldoende om de tijdsafwijking onder 1
seconde te houden.
8. Bediening

8.1 Manuele tijd- en kalenderinstelling

De tijdzone correctie (0 standaardinstelling ) verschijnt op het display.

Instellen van de tijdzone correctie (+12/-12) is vereist wanneer het DCF-signaal wel kan worden ont-
vangen, maar de tijdzone van de DCF tijd afwijkt (bijvoorbeeld, +1 = een uur later).

8.2 24- of 12 uurtijdsysteem display
•
Met de
▲
/12/24
toets kunt u tussen het 24- of 12-uurtijdsysteem (AM of PM verschijnt op het display)
kiezen.
•
Bij een 12 uurtijdsysteem wordt automatisch de datumweergave gewisseld van een Europese indica-
tor (eerst de dag ,daarna de maand) naar de Amerikaanse indicator (eerst de maand, dan de dag).
8.3 Weergave van de temperatuur
•
Met de
▼

toets kunt u tussen de weergave van de temperatuur in °C (graden Celsius) of °F (gra-
den Fahrenheit) kiezen.
8.4 Instelling van de wektijd
•
Druk op de
MODE/SET
toets in de normale modus, om in de wektijd modus te komen.
•
AL en 0:00 (standaardinstelling ) of de laatst ingestelde wektijd verschijnt op het display.
•
Houd de
MODE/SET
toets drie seconden lang ingedrukt.
•
De uuraanduiding knippert.
•
Stel de tijd met de

8.5 Activeren en deactiveren van het alarm
•
Om de alarmfunctie te activeren en te deactiveren moet u de
ALARM/ON/OFF
toets in de normaal
modus indrukken.
•
Het alarmsymbool of geen alarmsymbool verschijnt op het display.
•
Wanneer de ingestelde wektijd is bereikt begint de wekker te rinkelen.
•
Het alarmsymbool knippert.
•
Druk op een willekeurige knop, het alarm zal stoppen.
•
Als het alarm niet wordt onderbroken, zal de stijgende alarmtoon zich na twee minuten automatisch
uitschakelen en activeert zich vanzelf weer op dezelfde wektijd.
•
Het symbool blijft op het display.
•
Wanneer het weksignaal klingelt, drukt men op de
SNOOZE
toets om de snooze functie te activeren.
•
Indien de snooze-functie geactiveerd is, knippert Zz in het display.
•
Het weksignaal wordt voor 4 minuten onderbroken.
•
De snooze-functie kan tot acht keer worden geactiveerd.
•
Om het alarm en de snooze functie uit te schakelen moet u de
ALARM/ON/OFF
toets indrukken.
•
Het symbool verdwijnt op het display.
8.6 Achtergrondverlichting
•
Het toestel heeft een achtergrondverlichting, die zichtbaar is, zelfs bij fel licht een nachtverlichting,
die het beeldscherm leesbaar in het donker maakt.
8.6.1 Batterijvoeding
•
Druk op de
SNOOZE
toets en de achtergrondverlichting gaat gedurende 5 seconden branden.
•
Zet U de schuifschakelaar
ON/ECO/OFF
op ECO of ON, schakelt U automatisch de nachtverlichting aan
zodra de lichtsensor de duisternis registreert.
•
Om de nachtverlichting uit te schakelen, schuift u de
ON/ECO/OFF
schakelaar op de OFF positie.
8.6.2 Stroomvoeding (optioneel)
•
Opmerking: de verlichting in continubedrijf werkt alleen met stroomadapter!
•
Om de achtergrondverlichting duurzaam te gebruiken, zet U de
ON/ECO/OFF
schuifschakelaar naar
ECO of ON.
•
In de ON positie is de achtergrondverlichting permanent geactiveerd (bij helderheid en bij donker).
•
In de ECO positie wordt de nachtverlichting ingeschakeld in de donkere nacht.
•
Om de achtergrondverlichting en de nachtverlichting uit te schakelen, schuift u de
ON/ECO/OFF

9. Opstellen en bevestigen
•
Hang de klok met één of max. drie stabiele spijkers of schroeven met pluggen aan de wand.
•
Met de uitklapbare standaard kunt u het apparaat op effen oppervlakken plaatsen.
•
Opmerking: Als u de klok laat werken met de stroomadapter, steek dan de kabel in de daarvoor
bestemde kabelhouder aan de achterkant.
10. Schoonmaken en onderhoud
•
Maak het apparaat met een zachte, enigszins vochtige doek schoon. Geen schuur- of oplosmiddelen
gebruiken!
•
Verwijder de batterijen en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat langere tijd niet
gebruikt.
•
Bewaar het apparaat op een droge plaats.
10.1 Batterijwissel
•
Zodra de achtergrondverlichting zwakker wordt, vervang de drie batterijen1,5 V C.
•
Vervang de twee batterijen 1,5 V AA als het batterijsymbool op het display verschijnt.
•
Klap de staander dicht.
•
Maak het batterijvak open en plaats er de nieuwe batterijen in.
•
Let op de juiste polariteit bij het plaatsen van de batterijen.
•
Sluit het batterijvak weer.

12. Verwijderen
Dit product is vervaardigd van hoogwaardige materialen en onderdelen, die kunnen worden gerecycled
en hergebruikt.
Batterijen en accu's mogen niet met het huisvuil worden weggegooid.
Als consument bent u wettelijk verplicht om gebruikte batterijen en accu's bij uw dealer af
te geven of naar de daarvoor bestemde containers volgens de nationale of lokale bepalin-
gen te brengen om een milieuvriendelijk verwijderen te garanderen..
De benamingen van de zware metalen zijn:
Cd=cadmium, Hg=kwikzilver, Pb=lood
Dit apparaat is gemarkeerd in overeenstemming met de EU-richtlijn (WEEE) over het verwij-
deren van elektrisch en elektronisch afval.
Dit product mag niet met het huisvuil worden weggegooid. De gebruiker is verplicht om de
apparatuur af te geven bij een als zodanig erkende plek van afgifte voor het verwijderen
van elektrisch en elektronisch apparatuur om een milieuvriendelijk verwijderen te garande-

Mantenga el dispositivo y las pilas fuera del alcance de los niños.

Las pilas contienen ácidos nocivos para la salud y pueden ser peligrosas si se ingieren. Si se ingiere una

Conecte el dispositivo únicamente a una toma de corriente instalada según las prescripciones con una
tensión de alimentación de 230 V. De otra manera puede producir daño a su instrumento.
•
El tomacorriente debe estar instalado cerca del equipo y tener un fácil acceso.
•
Utilice únicamente un adaptador de red multa-función con el ajuste de 4,5 V.
•
El dispositivo y la fuente de alimentación no debe tener contacto con agua ni humedad. Sólo para el
uso en lugares secos bajo techo.
•
No utilice el dispositivo si la carcasa o la fuente de alimentación están dañadas.
•
Mantenga el dispositivo fuera de alcance de las personas (también niños) que no puedan evaluar los
riesgos con el manejo de dispositivos eléctricos.

6. Puesta en marcha
•
Abra el compartimiento de las pilas y introduzca las pilas (2 x 1,5 V AA y 3 x 1,5 V C).
•
Asegúrese que las pilas estén colocadas con la polaridad correcta.
• Cierre de nuevo el compartimiento de las pilas.
•
Las dos pilas de 1,5 V AA están importante para la función del reloj.
•
Las tres pilas de 1,5 V C están importante para la iluminación de fondo.
•
Para la iluminación de fondo, también puede ajustar un adaptador de red multa-función opcional con
el ajuste de 4,5 V (non incluso), en lugar de las tres pilas de 1,5 V C.
•
Ponga el enchufe de conexión en la toma y conecte el dispositivo con el cable de alimentación a la red
eléctrica. ¡Importante! ¡Asegúrese de que el voltaje de la línea no es más de 230 V! Otras tensiones
pueden dañar el instrumento. Nota: Atención: ¡La iluminación de fondo en modo continuo sólo fun-
ciona a través del adaptador de red!
•
El dispositivo está ahora listo para funcionar.
•
Se emite una señal acústica corta y todos los segmentos se muestran brevemente.
•
El reloj está tratando de recibir la señal de radio y el símbolo de recepción DCF parpadea. Una vez que
se ha recibido el código de horario después 3 - 10 minutos se muestra la hora controlada por radio y
el símbolo de recepción DCF aparece constantemente en la pantalla.
•
La recepción de la señal DCF se llevará a cabo diariamente a las 2:00 y 3.00 de la mañana. Si la recep-
ción del reloj a las 3.00 no tiene éxito, se llevará a cabo hasta las 5.00 de la mañana nuevos intentos
de recepción.
•
Si no ha recibido ninguna señal DCF, puede comenzar la inicialización manualmente.

Hay tres tipos de símbolos recibidos:
parpadea – recepción activa
se mantiene – recepción exitosa
ningún símbolo – recepción desactivada
•
Si su reloj radiocontrolado no es capaz de recibir la señal DCF (p. ej, debido a interferencias, distancia
de transmisión, etc.), puede ajustar la hora manualmente. En tal caso el reloj funciona como un reloj
normal de cuarzo (véase Ajuste manual de la hora y calendario).
7. Recepción de la hora controlada por radio
La transmisión de la hora se realiza por medio de un reloj atómico de cesio radiocontrolado a través de,
por el instituto técnico físico de Braunschweig. La desviación es menor a 1 segundo en un millón de
años. La hora viene codificada y es transmitida desde Mainflingen en las proximidades de Frankfurt am
Main por una señal de frecuencia DCF-77 (77,5 kHz) con un alcance de aprox. 1.500 km. Incluso el cam-
bio de la hora de verano e invierno se produce automáticamente. Durante el tiempo de verano aparece
DST en la pantalla. La recepción depende básicamente de la situación geográfica. Generalmente éste
debería funcionar de forma óptima en un radio de 1.500 km en torno a Frankfurt.
Siga por favor las indicaciones siguientes:
•
Es recomendable mantener una distancia de como mínimo 1,5 – 2 metros de posibles aparatos pertur-
badores tales como pantallas de ordenadores y televisores.
•
En construcciones de hormigón armado (sótanos, superestructuras), la señal recibida es evidentemen-
te más débil. En casos extremos se aconseja de emplazar el dispositivo cerca de una ventana para
obtener una mejor recepción.
•
Por las noches las perturbaciones atmosféricas suelen ser reducidas y se dispone de recepción en la
mayoría de los casos. Si además se recibe como mínimo una vez al día, es suficiente para garantizar la
precisión y mantener desviaciones inferiores a 1 segundo.
8. Manejo

El dispositivo sale automáticamente del modo de ajuste si no se pulsa ninguna tecla más de 15 segun-
dos.
8.1 Ajuste manual de la hora y calendario
•
Mantenga pulsada la tecla
MODE/SET
durante tres segundos en el modo normal.
•
La corrección de la zona horaria (0 nivel preseleccionado) parpadea en la pantalla.
•
La corrección de la zona horaria es necesaria cuando se pueda recibir la señal DCF, la zona horaria
(+12/-12) es diferente de la hora alemana DCF (por ejemplo: +1 = una hora más tarde).

Si la recepción de la señal de radio para la hora es exitosa el tiempo ajustado manualmente se sobres-
cribe.
8.2 Indicación de sistema de 24 y 12 horas
•
Con la tecla
▲
/12/24
puede seleccionar entre el sistema de 24- o 12 horas (AM o PM aparece en la
pantalla).
•
En el sistema de 12 horas la indicación de la fecha cambia automáticamente de la formato europeo
(primero el día después el mes) a la formato americano (primero el mes después el día).
8.3 Indicación de la temperatura
•
Pulse la tecla

en el modo normal podrá seleccionar entre la indicación de la temperatura en °C
(grados Celsius) o °F (grados Fahrenheit).
8.4 Ajuste de la alarma
•
Para acceder al modo de alarma pulse la tecla

AL y 0:00 (nivel preseleccionado) o la indicación de la primera o última hora de la alarma se muestra
en la pantalla.
•
Mantenga pulsada la tecla
MODE/SET
durante 3 segundos.
•
La indicación de la hora parpadea en la pantalla.
•
Ajuste las horas con la tecla

8.5 Activar y desactivar la función de la alarma
•
Para activar y desactivar la función de la alarma , pulse la tecla
ALARM/ON/OFF
en el modo normal.
•
El símbolo de la alarma o ningún símbolo de la alarma aparece en la pantalla.
•
Cuando llegue la hora de la alarma, el despertador comienza a sonar.
•
El símbolo de alarma parpadea.
•
Pulse cualquier tecla y la función de la alarma termina.
•
Si la alarma no se interrumpe, el tono de alarma creciente se apaga automáticamente después de dos
minutos y se activa de nuevo a la misma hora de la alarma.
•
El símbolo de la alarma se queda en la pantalla.
•
Cuando suena el despertador, pulse la tecla
SNOOZE
para activar la función de snooze.
•
Si la función de snooze se encuentra activada, Zz parpadea.
•
El sonido de la alarma se interrumpe durante cuatro minutos.
•
La función de snooze se puede activar hasta ocho veces.
•
Pulse la tecla
ALARM/ON/OFF
, para pagar la función de snooze.
•
El símbolo de snooze desaparece en la pantalla.
8.6 Iluminación de fondo
•
El dispositivo tiene una iluminación de fondo visible también en la luz del día, y una iluminación de
noche que permite leer la pantalla de noche.
8.6.1 Funcionamiento con pilas
•
Pulse la tecla
SNOOZE
para activar la iluminación de fondo durante 5 segundos.
•
Deslice el conmutador
ON/ECO/OFF
a la posición ECO u ON, la iluminación de noche está activa auto-
máticamente cuando el sensor de luz registra una cierta oscuridad.
•
Para desactivar la iluminación de noche, deslice el conmutador
ON/ECO/OFF
a la posición OFF.
8.6.2 Puesta en marcha con adaptador (opcional)
•
Atención: ¡La iluminación de fondo en modo continuo sólo funciona a través del adaptador de red!
•
Deslice el interruptor
ON/ECO/OFF
a la posición ECO u ON para utilizar permanentemente la ilumina-
ción de fondo.
•
En el ajuste ON la iluminación de fondo está permanentemente activa (en el brillo y en la oscuridad).
•
En el ajuste ECO la iluminación de noche está activa automáticamente en la oscuridad.
•
Para desactivar la iluminación de fondo y de noche, deslice el interruptor
ON/ECO/OFF
a la posición
OFF.
•
Pulse la tecla
SNOOZE
para activar la iluminación de fondo durante 5 segundos.

9. Instalación y fijación
•
Coloque el reloj radiocontrolado en las suspensiones de la pared asegurándolo mediante con uno o
tres clavos resistentes o tacos y tornillos.
•
Usted puede colocar el dispositivo con el soporte plegable sobre una superficie plana.
•
Nota: Si utiliza el reloj con el adaptador, inserte el cable en la bandeja para cable en la parte posterior.
10. Cuidado y mantenimiento
•
Limpie el dispositivo con un paño suave, ligeramente humedecido. ¡No utilice medio abrasivo ni disol-
ventes!
•
Extraiga las pilas y el enchufe de la toma de corriente si no va a usar el dispositivo por un largo perío-
do de tiempo.
•
Mantenga el dispositivo en un lugar seco.
10.1 Cambio de las pilas
•
Cambie las tres pilas 1,5 V C, cuando la iluminación de fondo este más débil.
•
En cuanto aparezca en la pantalla el símbolo de la pila, cambie las dos pilas 1,5 V AA.
•
Doble el soporte.
•
Abra el compartimiento de las pilas e inserte las pilas nuevas.
•
Asegúrese que las pilas estén colocadas con la polaridad correcta.
•
Cierre de nuevo el compartimiento de las pilas.

adquirió el producto.
12. Eliminación
Este producto ha sido fabricado con materiales y componentes de máxima calidad que pueden ser reci-
clados y reutilizados.
Las pilas y baterías no pueden desecharse en ningún caso junto con la basura doméstica.
Como consumidor, está obligado legalmente a depositar las pilas y baterías usadas de mane-
ra respetuosa con el medio ambiente en el comercio especializado o bien en los centros de
recogida y reciclaje previstos para ello según el reglamento nacional o local.
