Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 2 Port DisplayPort 1.2 Bi-directional switch This product has been designed
to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2-year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
The Lindy DisplayPort 1.2 bi-directional switch is a compact, effective solution for manually switching
between either two DisplayPort source devices, or two DisplayPort displays, depending on the desired
layout.

Installation
Connect the cables from source devices and the displays before powering on any devices. Power on the
source device first, then power on the displays. Use the switch to select your desired channel.
The diagrams below indicate the two configurations of how the switch can be used.
Picture A shows the source connected to the switch. The switch can then alternate output between
Display 1 or Display 2.
Picture B shows 2 sources connected to the switch. The switch can then alternate which source is used
to output to Display.

Installation
Schließen Sie die Kabel an den Quellgeräten und Displays an. Schalten Sie zuerst das Quellgerät ein
und dann die Displays. Zum Umschalten drücken Sie die Taste auf dem Gerät.
Die Diagramme unten zeigen zwei mögliche Konfigurationen.
Bild A zeigt eine am Switch angeschlossene Quelle. Der Switch kann dann alternativ auf Display 1 oder
Display 2 ausgeben.
Bild B zeigt 2 am Switch angeschlossene Quellen. Der Switch kann dann alternativ Quelle 1 oder 2 am

Installation
Connectez les câbles des appareils sources et des affichages avant de mettre sous tension les
appareils. Mettez tout d’abord sous tensions les sources, puis les affichages. Utilisez le switch pour
sélectionner le canal désiré. Les schémas ci-dessous indiquent les deux configurations dans lesquelles
le switch peut être utilisé. L’image A montre une source connectée au switch. Le switch peut ensuite
commuter entre les écrans (Display 1 ou Display 2). L’image B montre deux sources connectés au
switch. Le switch peut ensuite commuter la source qui devra être affichée sur l’écran.

Installazione
Collegate i cavi da sorgenti e schermi prima di accendere qualsiasi dispositivo. Accendete per primi i
dispositivi sorgente e poi gli schermi. Utilizzate il pulsante sullo switch per selezionare il canale
desiderato.
Il diagramma riportato sotto raffigura 2 possibili utilizzi dello switch.
La figura A (Picture A) mostra una sorgente connessa allo switch che può quindi visualizzare
alternativamente il segnale sullo schermo 1 o sullo schermo 2.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead,
these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different ways.
Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More details can
be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Germany / Deutschland Rücknahme Elektroschrott und Batterie-Entsorgung
Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von Elektro-
