Thank you for showing your condence in us by purchasing the
Behringer ULTRA METAL UM300. This high-quality eects pedal comes
with a dual-gain circuitry that enables you to produce super thick, tube-
like distortion plus endless sustain. Thanks to its high-performance
features you will achieve the most extreme and sought-after hard rock
or heavy metal distortion sounds.
1. Controls
(1) The LOW control allows yu to boost/cut the lo-frequency range.
◊◊ Please keep in mind that extrme distortion and EQ
settings will increase nose and may induce oscillation.
(2) The two MID FREQ(uency) controls allow to boost/cut a dè ned
mid-frequency range. The upper control is used to increase
or lower the mid range, the cntrol below adjusts the center
frequency of the mid range that is aected (200 Hz to 5 kHz).
(3) The LEVEL control adjusts the output level.
(4) The ON/BATT LED illumnates when the eect is activated. It also
serves as a battery leve indicator.
(5) Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate the eect.
(6) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the instrument cable.
(7) The ¼" TS OUT connector sends the signal to your amp.
Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover.
To install or replace the 9 V battery, press the hinges with a ballpen and
remove the pedal cover. Be careful not to scratch the unit.

◊ ◊ The UM300 has no on/o switch. As soon as you insert the
jack into the in connector, the UM300 begins running.
When not using the UM300, remove the jack from the in
connector. This extends the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the bottom.

attachments/accessories. Do not service product yourself. Contact our
qualied servicing personnel for servicing or repairs, especially when
power supply cord or plug is damaged

Muchas gracias por la coanza que has depositado en nosotros al adquirir
el ULTRA METAL UM300 de Behringer. Este pedal de efecto de alta calidad
viene con un circuito de ganancia doble que te permite crear una distorsión
superdensa de tipo valvular y con un sustain inito. Sus características
excepcionales te permiten obtener la sonidos más preciados para metal
y rock pesado.
1. Controles
(1) El control DIST(ortion) regula la cantidad de distorsión.
(2) HIGH te permite aumentar/reducir el nivel del rango de
frecuencias altas.
(3) LOW te permite aumentar/reducir el nivel del rango de
frecuencias bajas.
◊ ◊ Ten en cuenta que una distorsión y ecualización extremas
incrementarán el ruido y pueden inducir oscilación.
(4) Los dos controles MID FREQ(uency) te permiten aumentar/
reducir un rango de frecuencias medias dè nido. El control superior
aumenta o reduce el nivel del rango de frecuencias seleccionado,
mientras que el control inferior determina la frecuencia central
del mismo (200 Hz a 5 kHz).
(5) LEVEL regula el nivel de salida.
(6) El LED ON/BATT se ilumina al activar el efecto, y también sirve
como indicador de la carga de la batería.
(7) Al presionar el pedal se activa/desactiva el efecto.
(8) Entrada jack de 6,3 mm para conectar tu instrumento.
(9) Salida jack de 6,3 mm para enviar la señal al amplì cador.
El conector DC IN te permite enchufar a tu pedal un adaptador de
corriente de 9 V (no incluido).
El COMPARTIMENTO DE LA BATERÍA se encuentra debajo de la cubierta
superior del pedal. Para instalar o cambiar la batería de 9 V, presiona
las bisagras laterales con un bolígrafo y retira la cubierta del pedal. Ten
cuidado de no rayar la unidad.
◊ ◊ El UM300 no dispone de un interruptor de encendido/
apagado. Tan pronto conectas tu instrumento en la entrada
IN, el UM300 comienza a funcionar. Si no vas a utilizar el
pedal, desconecta el cable de la entrada IN para prolongar
la vida de la batería.
El NÚMERO DE SERIE se encuentra en la parte inferior del pedal.
2. Instrucciones de Seguridad

Behringer. Cette pédale d’eet possède un double étage de gain délivrant
des distorsions super grasses de type lampes ainsi qu’un sustain ini.
Grâce à ses hautes performances, l’UM300 produit les distorsions hard
rock et heavy métal les plus extrêmes et les plus recherchées.
1. Commandes
(1) Le potentiomètre DIST(ortion) détermine l’intensité de
ladistorsion.
(2) Le bouton HIGH te permet d’atténuer ou d’amplì er le niveau
des aigus.
(3) La commande LOW réduit ou amplì e le niveau des
fréquencesbasses.
◊ ◊ N’oublie pas que des réglages de distorsion et d’égalisation
extrêmes peuvent augmenter le volume sonore et
engendrer des oscillations désagréables
(4) Les commandes MID FREQ(uency) permettent d’amplì er ou
d’atténuer une bande de médiums donnée. Le bouton supérieur
règle le niveau de la bande de fréquences et le bouton inférieur
dénit la fréquence centrale de la bande (de 200 Hz à 5 kHz).
(5) Le bouton LEVEL règle le niveau de sortie.
(6) La LED ON/BATT reste allumée tant que l’eet est actif. Elle sert
également de témoin d’état de la pile.
(7) Appuie sur le commutateur pour activer ou
désactiver l’eet.
(8) Branche le câble de ton instrument dans l’entrée IN sur jack
asymétrique.
(9) Relie la sortie OUT sur jack asymétrique à l’entrée de ton ampli.
Utilise le connecteur DC IN pour le branchement d’un bloc
d’alimentation de 9 V (non inclus).
Le COMPARTIMENT PILE est situé sous le capot de la pédale. Pour
installer ou remplacer la pile 9 V, appuie sur les axes de la charnière avec
un stylo-bille et retire le capot de la pédale en veillant à ne pas la rayer.
◊ ◊ L’UM300 ne possède pas de commutateur marche/arrêt.
C’est pourquoi elle fonctionne dès que tu insères un jack
dans son entrée IN. Tant que tu n’utilises pas ton UM300,
débranche le jack de son entrée IN pour augmenter la durée
de vie de la pile.
Le NUMERO DE SERIE est situé sur la base de la pédale.
2. Consignes De Securite
Ne pas utiliser ni installer à proximité de liquides ou de sources de

ULTRA METAL UM300 entgegengebracht hast. Dieses hochqualitative
Eektpedal ist mit einer “Dual-Gain”-Schaltung versehen, um
superfetten, röhrenähnlichen Distortion Sound mit endlosem Sustain
zu erzeugen. Dank zahlreicher Features erreichst Du die extremsten,
angesagtesten Hard Rock und Heavy Metal Distortion Sounds.
1. Bedienungselemente
(1) Der DIST(ortion)-Regler bestimmt die Intensität des Distortion-
E ekts.
(2) Der HIGH-Regler ermöglicht eine Anhebung/Absenkung der
hohen Frequenzen.
(3) Mit dem LOW-Regler kannst Du die tiefen Frequenzen anheben/
absenken.
◊ ◊ Achtung! Extreme Distortion- und EQ-Einstellungen
erhöhen das Grundrauschen und verursachen eventuell
unangenehme Schwingungen.
(4) Die zwei MID FREQ(uency)-Regler erlauben die Absenkung/
Anhebung eines wählbaren Mittenfrequenzbereichs. Der
obere Regler dient dabei zum anheben und absenken der
Mittenfrequenzen. Der untere Regler bestimmt die Mittelfrequenz
des beeiussten Mittenbereichs (von 200 Hz bis5kHz).
(5) Der LEVEL-Regler bestimmt die Ausgangslautstärke.
(6) Die ON/BATT-LED leuchtet, sobald der Eekt aktiviert ist.
Zusätzlich kannst Du den Batteriezustand überprüfen.
(7) Der Fußschalter dient zum Aktivieren/Deaktivieren des Eekts.
(8) Die 6,3-mm IN-Monoklinkenbuchse dient zum Anschluss des
Instruments.
(9) Die 6,3-mm OUT-Monoklinkenbuchse leitet das Signal an Deinen
Verstärker weiter
Der DC IN-Anschluss rechts am Gerät dient zum Anschluss eines 9 V
Adapters (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).
Das BATTERIEFACH bendet sich unter dem Fußschalter. Um die
Batterie einzubauen oder auszutauschen, drücke die Gelenke vorsichtig
zusammen und entferne das Pedal. Achte darauf, das Gerät nicht zu
zerkratzen.
◊ ◊ Der UM300 hat keinen On/O-Schalter. Der UM300 ist
betriebsbereit, sobald ein Kabel in der IN-Buchse steckt.
Ziehe den Stecker aus der IN-Buchse, wenn der UM300 nicht in
Gebrauch ist. So verlängerst Du die Lebensdauer der Batterie.
Die SERIENNUMMER bendet sich auf der Unterseite des Geräts.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
Betreibe das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder Wärmequellen.
Verwende bitte nur autorisiertes Zubehör. Führe bitte keinerlei
Reparaturen am Gerät eigenständig durch. Reparaturen sind nur
von qualiziertem Fachpersonal vorzunehmen, insbesondere bei
Beschädigungen des Netzkabels oder Netzsteckers.

Behringer ULTRA METAL UM300. Este Pedal de Efeitos de alta qualidade
está equipado com um mecanismo “Dual-Gain”, para criar um som
de distorção de grande intensidade, semelhante a válvulas, com uma
sustentação contínua. Graças às suas inúmeras funcionalidades, obtém
sons de distorção extremos e indescritíveis de Hard Rock e Heavy Metal.
1. Comandos
(1) O regulador DIST(ortion) ajusta a intensidade do efeito de

interruptor de pedal. Para inserir ou trocar as pilhas, comprima
cuidadosamente as patilhas com uma esferográca e retire o pedal.
Tenha cuidado para não riscar o aparelho.
◊ ◊ O UM300 não tem um interruptor On/O. O UM300 está
pronto a funcionar logo que é ligado um cabo na tomada
IN. Retire a cha da tomada IN quando o UM300 não
estiver a ser utilizado. Assim, prolonga a duração da pilha.

METAL UM300. Questo pedale per eetti di elevata qualita e dotato
di un azionamento “Dual-Gain” per realizzare un sound di distorsione
molto grasso e simile ai tubi con un sustain innito. Grazie alle numerose
funzioni si possono realizzare i sound di distorsione piu estremi e noti
dell’Hard Rock e dell’Heavy Metal.
1. Elementi di Comando
(1) Il regolatore DIST(ortion) determina l’intensita dell’eetto
delladistorsione.
(2) Il regolatore HIGH consente un innalzamento/abbassamento
delle frequenze alte.
(3) Con il regolatore LOW e possibile aumentare/ridurre le
frequenze basse.
◊ ◊ Attenzione! le impostazioni estreme di distorsione e di EQ
aumentano i ronzii di fondo e provocano eventualmente
oscillazioni sgradevoli.
(4) I due regolatori MID FREQ(uency) consento di abbassare/
aumentare un campo di frequenza media selezionabile. Il
regolatore superiore serve in questo caso per aumentare e ridurre
le frequenze medie. Il regolatore inferiore determina la frequenza
media dell’area media inuenzata (da200Hza 5 kHz).
(5) Il regolatore LEVEL determina il volume di uscita.
(6) Il LED ON/BATT si accende non appena e attivato l’eetto. Inoltre
potrai controllare lo stato dellabatteria.
(7) L’interruttore a pedale serve per attivare/disattivare l’e etto.
(8) Il monoattacco a nottolino IN da 6,3-mm serve per il
collegamento dello strumento.
(9) Il monoattacco a nottolino OUT da 6,3-mm trasmette il segnale al
tuo ampli catore.
L’attacco DC IN serve per il collegamento di un adattatore da 9 V
(noncompreso nella fornitura).
L’ALLOGGIAMENTO DELLE BATTERIE si trova sotto l’interruttore
a pedale. Per montare o sostituire la batteria e necessario premere
con cura le giunture con una penna e rimuovere il pedale. Prestare
attenzione a non gra are l’apparecchio.
◊ ◊ UM300 non è dotato di alcun interruttore On/O . UM300 è
pronto al funzionamento non appena nell’attacco IN viene
inserito un cavo. Quando l’UM300 non è in uso si prega di
estrarre la spina dall’attacco IN. In questo modo si estende
la durata della batteria.
Il NUMERO DI SERIE e riportato sulla parte inferiore dell’apparecchio.
2. Avvertenze di Sicurezza

Hartelijk dank voor het vertrouwen, dat je ons door de aankoop van
de Behringer ULTRA METAL UM300 hebt getoond. Dit eectpedaal
van zeer hoge kwaliteit is voorzien van een “Dual-Gain”-schakeling
om zeer goede Distortion, zoals bij buizen met een eindeloze sustain
te produceren. Dankzij talrijke features krijgt je de meest extreme,
voorspelde Hard Rock en Heavy Metal Distortion sounds.
1. Bedieningselementen
(1) De DIST(ortion)-regelaar bepaalt de intensiteit van de
vervormings-eecten.
(2) De HIGH-regelaar maakt een verhoging/verlaging van de hoge
frequenties mogelijk.
(3) Met de LOW-regelaar kun je de lage frequenties verhogen/verlagen.
◊ ◊ Attentie! Extreme Distortion- en EQ-instellingen
verhogen de basisruis en veroorzaken eventueel
onaangenametrillingen.
(4) De twee MID FREQ(uency)-regelaars maken verlaging/verhoging
mogelijk van een selecteerbaar middenfrequentiegebied. De
bovenste regelaar dient daarbij voor het verhogen en verlagen
van de middenfrequenties. De onderste regelaar bepaalt de
middenfrequentie van bet beinvloede middengebied (van 200
Hz tot 5 kHz).
(5) De LEVEL-regelaar bepaalt het uitgangsvolume.
(6) De ON/BATT-LED is verlicht, zodra het e ect geactiveerd is.
Bovendien kun je de batterij-toestandcontroleren.
(7) De voetschakelaar dient voor het activeren/deactiveren van
hete ect.
(8) De 6,3-mm IN-monostekkerbus dient voor de aansluiting van het
instrument.
(9) De 6,3-mm OUT-monostekkerbus leidt het signaal verder naar
je versterker.
De DC IN-aansluiting dient voor de aansluiting van een 9 V adapter
(behoort niet tot de levering).
Het BATTERIJVAK bevindt zich onder de voetschakelaar. Om de batterij
te plaatsen of te vervangen, moet u de scharnieren voorzichtig met een
ballpoint samendrukken en het pedaal verwijderen. Let erop, dat u geen
krassen achterlaat.
◊ ◊ De UM300 heeft geen On/O -schakelaar. De UM300 is
klaar voor gebruik, zodra er een kabel in de IN-bus zit.
Trek de stekker uit de IN-bus, wanneer de UM300 niet in
gebruik is. Op die manier verlengt u de levensduur van
de batterij.
Het SERIENUMMER bevindt zich aan de onderzijde van het apparaat.
2. Veiligheidsinstructies
Niet gebruiken in de buurt van water of warmtebronnen. Gebruik
uitsluitend geautoriseerde uitbreidingen/originele accessoires. Probeer
nooit zelf het apparaat te repareren. Neem voor reparaties of onderhoud
contact op met de leverancier, met name wanneer het netsnoer of de
stekker van het netsnoer beschadigd is.

“Dual-Gain”-koppling, for att skapa ett superfett, rorliknande distortions
sound med andlos sustain. Tack vare talrika egenskaper uppnar du de
extremaste, modernaste Hard Rock och Heavy Metal distortion sounds.
1. Betjaningsreglage
(1) DIST(ortion)-reglaget bestammer intensiteten pa
distortions-eekten.
(2) Med HIGH-reglaget kan du hoja/sanka de hoga frekvenserna.
(3) Med LOW-reglaget kan du hoja/sanka de laga frekvenserna.
◊ ◊ OBSERVERA! Extrema distortions- och EQ-inställningar,
höjer grundbruset och förorsakar eventuellt otrevliga
svängningar.
(4) De bada MID FREQ(uency)-reglagen tillater en sankning/
hojning av ett valbart mellanfrekvensomrade. Det ovre reglaget
tjanar har som hojning och sankning av mellanfrekvensen. Det
undre reglaget bestammer mellanfrekvensen av det paverkade
mellanomradet (fran 200 Hz till 5 kHz).
(5) LEVEL-reglaget bestammer utgangsljudstyrkan.
(6) ON/BATT-LED lyser da en eekt ar aktiverad. Dessutom kan du
kontrollera batterietillstandet.
(7) Fotomkopplaren tjanar till att aktivera/avaktivera eekten.
(8) 6,3-mm IN-monohylsanslutning med fasthakning tjanar som
anslutning av instrumentet.

BATTERIFACKET benner sig under fotkontakten. For att satta in eller
byta batteriet, trycker man forsiktigt med en kulspetspenna samman
lankarna och tar loss pedalen. Se till att inte skrapa apparaten.
◊ ◊ UM300 har ingen On/O -strömbrytare. UM300
är driftsklar så snart en kabel är instucken i
IN-hylsanslutningen. Dra ut stickkontakten ur
IN-hylsanslutningen, då UM300 inte mer används. Så
förlänger du batteriets livslängd.

pedał efektów z przełącznikiem “Dual-Gain” pozwala na generowanie
głębokiego brzmienia dystorsji z ciągłym ciepłym wybrzmieniem
(sustain). Dzięki licznym możliwościom osiąga się absolutnie odjazdowy
dźwięk dystorsji hard rock i heavy metal.
1. Elementy Obsługi
(1) Regulator DIST(ortion) określa intensywność efektu dystorsji.
(2) Regulator HIGH umożliwia podnoszenie/obniżanie wysokich
częstotliwości.
(3) Za pomocą regulatora LOW można podnosić/obniża niskie
częstotliwości.
◊ ◊ UWAGA! Ekstremalne ustawienia dystorsji i EQ zwiększają
szumy podstawowe ipowoduję nieprzyjemne drgania.
(4) Za pomocą dwóch regulatorów MID FREQ(uency) można
podnosić/obniżać dowolny zakres środkowych częstotliwości.
Górny regulator służy do zwiększania/obniżania środkowych
częstotliwości. Dolny regulator określa środkową częstotliwość
zakresu środkowego (od200Hzdo5 kHz).
(5) Regulator LEVEL określa głośność wyjścia.
(6) Dioda ON/BATT świeci się, gdy efekt jest aktywny. Dodatkowo
można sprawdzić poziom naładowania baterii.
(7) Przełącznik nożny służy do aktywacji/dezaktywacji efektu.
(8) Gniazdo mono IN 6,3 mm typu jack służy do podłączenia
instrumentu.
(9) Gniazdo mono OUT 6,3 mm typu jack przekazuje sygnał do
wzmacniacza.
Przyłącze DC IN służy do podłączania przejściówki 9V (nie zawiera się
w komplecie).
SCHOWEK NA BATERIE znajduje się pod przełącznikiem nożnym.
Aby włożyć lub wymienić baterię, należy ostrożnie ścisnąć
przeguby długopisem i wyjąć pedał. Zwrócić uwagę na to, aby nie
