Thank you for purchasing the i-tec USB-C Docking Station that will allow you

to connect your favourite devices via single USB-C connector to a notebook,

a tablet, a PC or a smartphone with a USB-C port. It offers 1x HDMI port, 1x

Ethernet GLAN RJ-45 port, 1x SD Card Reader, 3x USB-A 3.0 port, 1x USB-C

3.1 (Gen. 1) port, 1x USB-C Power Delivery port and 1x DC 5V Power Jack.

The package includes an extra set of silicone anti-slip self adhesive pads if

your laptop has a USB-C port on the left side and the docking station will need

to rotate. For the docking station can be ordered an extra power adapter

INSTALATION OF DRIVERS

After connecting, the drivers for the docking station are installed

automatically from the system.

CAUTION! Before installation make sure that your system has installed the

latest drivers for your device and updated BIOS.

The majority of problems with the docking station and the connected

peripheral devices can be solved by disconnecting the USB-C cable of

the docking station from the USB-C port of the PC / Mac / smartphone

and reconnecting after approximately 10 s.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

źDo not expose to extreme temperatures and air humidity.

źUse the device on flat surfaces – you will prevent it from slipping and

falling to the ground.

źSave the user manual for a possible use later.

Question: What are the requirements for the primary graphic cards to be

used with the graphic chipsets in the i-tech graphic adapters and docking

stations?

ENGLISH

Quick Start

Answer: Graphic chipsets are secondary (additional) graphic cards in the

PC. For their function they need to have an installed primary graphic card.

Windows 10 and later: In these operating system the graphic controller works

only in connection with the primary graphic cards: Intel, NVidia, ATI/AMD,

VIA. It cannot work with the SiS or Matrox graphic cards.

Question: Can I get more detailed information on the problems related to the

USB-C docking station?

Answer: Of course, you can contact our technical help.

Question: The device does not charge an Apple / Samsung tablet.

Answer: If the connected device is not charged or does not work, connect the

original / external USB-C power adaptor to the power connector of the parent

notebook / Mac / smartphone / tablet or USB-C port on the docking station for

support of charging. Unfortunately despite the European standard on

unification of the power supply devices some companies protect their

products by allowing charging these products only with the original / licensed

power adaptor through the USB-C port.

Frage: Welche Anforderungen müssen primäre Grafikkarten für die

Verwendung mit Chipsätzen in i-tec grafischen Adaptern und Docking

Stationen erfüllen?

Antwort: Grafische Chipsätze sind sekundäre (weitere) Karten im PC. Für

ihre Funktion brauchen sie eine installierte primäre grafische Karte. Windows

10 und höher: Unter diesen Betriebssystemen funktioniert der grafische

Treiber nur in der Abhängigkeit von primären grafischen Karten: Intel,

NVidia, ATI/AMD, VIA. Er funktioniert mit SiS oder Matrox grafischen Karten

nicht.

Frage: Kann ich nähere Informationen über die Probleme mit USB-C

Docking Station bekommen?

Antwort: Natürlich, Sie können sich an unsere technische Unterstützung

wenden.

Frage: Apple / Samsung Tablet-PC wird durch das Gerät nicht aufgeladen.

INSTALLATION DES PILOTES

Une fois connecté, les pilotes de la station d'accueil sont automatiquement

installés à partir du système.

Avertissement: assurez-vous de posséder les derniers pilotes pour votre

appareil et un BIOS mis à jour sur votre système avant de l'installer.

La majeure partie des problèmes liés à la station d'accueil et aux

périphériques connectés peut être résolue à l'aide de l'interrupteur ON /

OFF ou en déconnectant la station d'accueil USB-C du port PC / Mac /

smartphone / tablette USB-C et la reconnecter passé un délai d'environ

10 secondes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Quelles sont les exigences pour les cartes graphiques primaires

pour utilisation avec les circuits imprimés graphiques des adaptateurs

graphiques et stations d'accueil i-tec ?

Réponse: Les circuits imprimés graphiques sont des cartes graphiques

secondaires (supplémentaires) dans un PC. Ils ont besoin d'une carte

graphique principale pour leur fonctionnement. Windows 10 et versions

ultérieures: sur ces systèmes d'exploitation, le pilote graphique ne fonctionne

que selon les cartes graphiques principales: Intel, NVidia, ATI / AMD, VIA. Il

ne peut pas travailler avec les cartes graphiques SiS ou Matrox.

Question: Puis-je avoir des informations plus détaillées sur les problèmes

liés à la station d'accueil USB-C?

Réponse: Bien sûr, il suffit de contacter notre support technique.

Question: l'appareil ne charge pas les tablettes Apple / Samsung.

Réponse: Si l'appareil ne charge pas ou ne fonctionne pas, connectez

l'adaptateur secteur USB-C d'origine / externe au connecteur d'alimentation

de l'ordinateur portable / Mac / smartphone / tablette ou port USB-C de la

station d'accueil.

Malheureusement, en dépit de la normalisation européenne des dispositifs

d'alimentation, certaines marques protègent leurs produits afin qu'ils ne

puissent être chargé uniquement avec l'adaptateur d'alimentation d'origine /

sous licence via le port USB-C.

INTRODUZIONE

Vi ringraziamo per aver acquistato questa Stazione dock USB-C della i-tec che

vi permette di collegare in modo facile e veloce i vostri dispositivi preferiti a

notebook, tablet, PC e smartphone dotati di porte USB-C tramite un solo

connettore USB-C. La Stazione dock dispone di 1 porta HDMI, 1 porta

Ethernet GLAN RJ-45, 1 lettore di schede SD, 3 porte USB-A 3.0, 1 porta USB-

C 3.1 (Gen. 1), 1 porta USB-C Power Delivery e 1 ingresso per l'alimentatore

esterno DC 5 V.

Fa parte della confezione il kit di supporti antiscivolo in silicone utili se il

notebook da collegare dispone della porta USB-C sul lato sinistro e la Stazione

dock deve essere girata.

Assieme alla Stazione dock può essere richiesto l'alimentatore secondario

denominato U3FLATDOCKPD-ADA.

INSTALLAZIONE STRUMENTI

Collegata la stazione dock, gli strumenti vengono installati automaticamente

dal sistema.

Avvertenza: Verificare prima dell'installazione se il sistema BIOS è

aggiornato e se il sistema è dotato degli strumenti più aggiornati per i

rispettivi dispositivi.

La maggioranza dei problemi connessi alla Stazione dock e al

collegamento dei dispositivi periferici può essere risolta scollegando il

cavo USB-C della Stazione dock dalla porta USB-C del

PC/Mac/smartphone/tablet e ricollegandolo dopo ca. 10 secondi.

ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA

źEvitare i valori estremi della temperatura e dell'umidità.

źUsare il dispositivo su un supporto orizzontale per evitare la caduta per

terra a causa del suo scivolamento.

źConservare il Libretto d'uso per ogni evenienza.

DOMANDE FREQUENTI

Domanda: Quali sono i requisiti per la scheda grafica master utilizzata con i

chipset grafici negli adattatori grafici i-tec o nelle stazioni dock?

Risposta: Nei PC i chipset grafici sono schede grafiche slave (secondarie).

Per la loro funzione corretta occorre installare una scheda grafica master. Gli

strumenti grafici nell'ambiente Windows 10 e superiore funzionano soltanto

in collegamento alle schede grafiche master: Intel, NVidia, ATI/AMD, VIA.

Non funzionano con le schede grafiche SiS o Matrox.

Domanda: Posso ricevere informazioni più dettagliate sui problemi con la

stazione dock USB-C?

Risposta: Certo, può contattare il nostro reparto tecnico.

Domanda: Il dispositivo non ricarica il tablet Apple/Samsung.

Risposta: Qualora il dispositivo non ricarichi o non funzioni, collegare

l'alimentatore di rete originale o quello esterno dotato di connettore USB-C al

connettore di alimentazione del notebook/Mac/smartphone/tablet primario o

alla porta USB-C della stazione dock che supporta l'alimentazione.

Purtroppo, nonostante la norma europea che dovrebbe unificare i dispositivi

di alimentazione, alcune aziende proteggono i loro prodotti di marca in modo

tale che essi possono essere ricaricati tramite la porta USB-C utilizzando

soltanto alimentatori di rete originali o autorizzati.
