This device is a switching type power supply and can work with supply voltages in the range 100 - 240
VAC For worldwide usability four different AC adapters are enclosed: Euro type, UK type, US/Japan type
and Australia/New Zealand type. Use the appropriate AC adapter as shown in the picture and ensure it
is firmly secured in place and does not detach by pulling before installing into a power socket.
To reduce risk of fire, electric shocks or damage:
▪ Do not open the product nor its power supply. There are no user serviceable parts inside.

Instructions for Use of Power Supply
To connect the adapter
Slide the desired plug adapter into the power supply and rotate
clockwise until it locks into place.
To remove the adapter
Press the push button latch.
While pressed, rotate the adapter anticlockwise.

Product Overview
Front Panel
Power Switch: Press to power the splitter on or off.
Power LED: LED will illuminate to indicate power is on.
Input LED: LED will illuminate once an active HDMI source has been connected to the HDMI Input.
Output LED (1 – 16): The corresponding LED will illuminate once an active HDMI display has been
connected to one of the HDMI Outputs.
Rear Panel
HDMI Input: Connect an HDMI source device using HDMI cable.
HDMI Output (1 – 16): Connect up to 16 HDMI displays using HDMI cable.
12VDC: Connect the included 12VDC 2.5A PSU and plug into a wall outlet.
Side Panel
EDID Dipswitch: Adjust manage the video & audio EDID. Please see below for the EDID settings.
Service: Reserved for firmware updates.
Installation
Please follow the below instructions for installation.
Lindy advises using high-quality HDMI cables up to 2m in length on the input, and 2m in length on the
output. Please ensure all devices are switched off before connecting any source devices or displays.
Once all connections are made please switch on the devices in the following order: Displays, HDMI
Splitter, Source Device.
Connect a source device to the Input port of the HDMI splitter, then connect displays to the HDMI output
ports. Once all connections are made please connect the power supply and power on the splitter.

For 4K60 420 resolutions, please use the Copy function.
Troubleshooting
There is no display on the screen.
It has been found that there are significant differences in the cable lengths/types and even input ports
which can be used on different brands of display using HDMI resolutions. If problems are
experienced, please apply the following steps:
▪ Reset the splitter unit using the On/Off push button.
▪ Try a different input port on the display.
▪ Reduce the cable length on the Input and Output to 1m.
▪ Try a different type of 1m HDMI Cable.
▪ Check that the DC plug and jack used by the external power supply is firmly connected.
▪ For some HDMI devices it may be helpful to unplug and re-connect their HDMI connection to re-initiate
the HDMI handshake and recognition.

Zum Anbringen des Adapters

Power Switch: Drücken Sie diesen Schalter, um den Splitter ein- oder auszuschalten.

Betrieb
Bitte folgen Sie den untenstehenden Anweisungen zur Installation.
Lindy empfiehlt die Verwendung hochwertiger HDMI-Kabel mit einer Länge von bis zu 2m am Eingang
und 2m am Ausgang. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Geräte ausgeschaltet sind, bevor Sie Quellgeräte
oder Displays anschließen. Wenn alle Verbindungen hergestellt sind, schalten Sie bitte die Geräte in der
folgenden Reihenfolge ein: Displays, HDMI-Splitter, Quellgerät.
Schließen Sie ein Quellgerät an den Eingang des HDMI-Splitters an, dann schließen Sie die Displays an
die HDMI-Ausgänge an. Wenn alle Verbindungen hergestellt sind, schließen Sie bitte das Netzteil an
und schalten Sie den Splitter ein.

Fehlersuche
Es erfolgt keine Anzeige auf dem Bildschirm.
Bei verschiedenen Display-Marken mit HDMI-Auflösungen kann es erheblich Unterschiede bei den
Kabellängen/-typen und den Eingangsanschlüssen geben. Wenn Probleme auftreten, führen Sie bitte die
folgenden Schritte durch:
• Setzen Sie den Splitter mit dem Ein/Aus-Schalter zurück.
• Versuchen Sie einen anderen Eingangsanschluss am Display.
• Reduzieren Sie die Kabellänge am Ein- und Ausgang auf 1m.
• Versuchen Sie ein anderes 1m HDMI-Kabel.
• Prüfen Sie, ob der DC-Stecker und die Buchse, die von der externen Stromversorgung verwendet
werden, fest angeschlossen sind.
• Bei einigen HDMI-Geräten kann es hilfreich sein, die HDMI-Verbindung zu trennen und erneut
anzuschließen, um den HDMI-Handshake und die Erkennung neu zu initiieren.

Pour connecter l’adaptateur secteur

Vue d’ensemble du produit
Panneau avant
Bouton d’alimentation: appuyez pour mettre le splitter en/hors tension.
LED Power: la LED s’allume pour indiquer l’alimentation.
LED Input: la LED s’allume une fois qu’une source HDMI active a été connectée sur le port d’entrée
HDMI.
LED Output (1 – 16): la LED correspondante s’allume lorsque qu’un écran HDMI actif a été connecté sur
l’une des sorties HDMI.

HDMI Input: connecte une source HDMI en utilisant un câble HDMI.

Installation
Merci de suivre les instructions ci-dessous pour l’installation.
Lindy conseille d'utiliser des câbles HDMI de haute qualité d'une longueur maximale de 2 m en entrée et
de 2 m en sortie. Veuillez vous assurer que tous les appareils sont éteints avant de connecter tout
appareil ou écran. Une fois toutes les connexions effectuées, allumez les appareils dans l'ordre suivant :
écrans, splitter HDMI, source.
Connectez un appareil source au port d'entrée du répartiteur HDMI, puis connectez les écrans aux ports
de sortie HDMI. Une fois toutes les connexions effectuées, connectez l'alimentation électrique et mettez
le splitter sous tension.

Aucune image à l’écran.
Il a été constaté qu'il existe des différences significatives dans les longueurs/types de câbles et même les
ports d'entrée qui peuvent être utilisés sur différentes marques d'écrans utilisant des résolutions HDMI. Si

Panoramica del prodotto
Pannello frontale
Power Switch: Premere per accendere o spegnere lo splitter.
Power LED: Il LED si illumina per indicare che l'alimentazione è attiva.
Input LED: Il LED si accende quando una sorgente HDMI attiva è stata collegata all'ingresso HDMI.
Output LED (1 – 16): Il LED corrispondente si illumina ogni volta che un display HDMI attivo è stato
collegato a una delle uscite HDMI.
Pannello posteriore
HDMI Input: Consente di collegare un dispositivo sorgente HDMI utilizzando un cavo HDMI.
HDMI Output (1-16): Consente di collegare fino a 16 display HDMI tramite un cavo HDMI.
12VDC: Consente di collegare l'alimentatore 12VDC 2.5A incluso e di inserirlo in una presa a muro.

Installazione
Si prega di seguire le seguenti istruzioni per l'installazione.
Lindy consiglia di utilizzare cavi HDMI di alta qualità con una lunghezza massima di 2 m in ingresso e di
2 m in uscita. Assicurarsi che tutti i dispositivi siano spenti prima di collegare qualsiasi dispositivo sorgente
o display. Una volta effettuati tutti i collegamenti, accendere i dispositivi nel seguente ordine: Display,
Splitter HDMI, Sorgente.
Collegare un dispositivo sorgente alla porta di ingresso dello splitter HDMI, quindi collegare i display alle
porte di uscita HDMI. Una volta effettuati tutti i collegamenti, collegare l'alimentatore e accendere lo splitter.

Risoluzione dei problemi
Nessuna visualizzazione dello schermo
È stato riscontrato che ci sono differenze significative nelle lunghezze/tipi dei cavi e addirittura nelle porte
di input che possono essere utilizzate su diverse marche di display che utilizzano risoluzioni HDMI. Se si
riscontrano problemi, si prega di seguire i seguenti passaggi:
▪ Resettare lo splitter extender o l'unità ricevente usando il pulsante di reset.
▪ Provare una diversa porta d'ingresso sul display.
▪ Ridurre la lunghezza del cavo in ingresso e in uscita a 1m.
▪ Provare un diverso tipo di cavo HDMI da 1m.
▪ Controllare che la spina e il jack DC usati dall'alimentatore esterno siano saldamente collegati.
▪ Per alcuni dispositivi HDMI può essere utile scollegare e ricollegare la loro connessione HDMI per
avviare nuovamente l'handshake e il riconoscimento HDMI.
