Willkommen Zauberer,
ich bin der große Zauberer HABAMUS und begrüße dich in
unserer magischen Zaubergemeinschaft.
Mit diesem Zauberzylinder hast du eine große Verantwortung
übernommen. Mit ein wenig Übung und Fleiß wirst du in der
Lage sein, andere Menschen zu verzaubern. Du bringst sie zum
Staunen und lässt sie an deine magischen Kräfte glauben.
Erzähle aber niemandem, wie der Trick funktioniert. Nur so
kannst du die Geheimnisse unserer Zaubergemeinschaft
bewahren und immer wieder Menschen mit unseren Tricks
verzaubern.

Dein HABAMUS

Stell dir vor ...
Der Vorhang öffnet sich.
Du zeigst deinem Publikum ein Band, an dem drei Tücher fest
verknotet sind. Du erzählst, dass du die Tücher verhext hast
und sie allein durch deine Gedankenkraft entknoten kannst.
Anschließend bittest du einen Zuschauer, die Farbe eines
Tuches zu nennen und ganz leicht gegen das Tuch zu pusten.
Wie von Geisterhand entknotet sich dieses Tuch und schwebt
zu Boden.
Anschließend bittest du einen weiteren Zuschauer, dir eine

Farbe von einem der zwei verbliebenen Tücher zuzurufen.
Kaum hat der Zuschauer die Farbe genannt, entknotet sich
auch dieses Tuch und fällt zu Boden.

Der Zaubertrick
1. Sieh dir das Band vor der Vorstellung genau an.
Auf der Rückseite siehst du drei farbige Perlen. (Bild 1)
2. Diese drei farbigen Perlen sind jeweils mit einem Draht
verbunden.
3. Wenn du an einer Perle leicht ziehst, bewegt sich der
dazugehörende Draht. (Bild 2)
4. Damit der Trick gut funktioniert, musst du die Tücher auf
eine besondere Weise am Band befestigen.
5. Lege zuerst das Band wie abgebildet über das rote Tuch.

6. Schlinge anschließend das rote Tuch wie abgebildet um
das Band. (Bild 4)
7. Fixiere das Tuch mit dem Draht. (Bild 5)
8. Wiederhole anschließend die Punkte 5 bis 7 mit dem
blauen und dem gelben Tuch.
9. Nimm ein Ende des Bandes in die rechte und das andere
Ende in die linke Hand. Stecke deine Zeigefinger durch
die Schlaufen an den Enden des Bandes. Achte darauf,
dass die Perlen zu dir zeigen. (Bild 6)
10. Halte das Band so, dass du mit deinen Daumen die Perlen
berühren und sie bewegen kannst. (Bild 7)

11. Wenn du jetzt mit deinem Daumen eine Perle ein Stück
herausschiebst, entknotet sich das farblich passende Tuch
wie von Geisterhand und schwebt zu Boden.
Tipps:
• Übe den Zaubertrick zuerst ein paar Mal vor dem Spiegel.
Die Zuschauer dürfen nicht erkennen, dass du die Perlen
mit deinen Daumen bewegst.
• Versuche beim Verschieben der Perle nicht auf deine
Hände zu sehen.
• Merke dir, welche Perle zu welchem Tuch gehört. Dann
kannst du während des Tricks die Augen schließen und so
tun, als ob du mit bloßer Gedankenkraft den Knoten des
Tuchs öffnest.

Wenn du den Zaubertrick ein paar Mal vor dem
Spiegel geübt hast, kannst du deine erste große
Zaubervorstellung geben:
• Befestige vor der Vorstellung alle Tücher wie beschrieben
am Band.
• Lege das Band so auf den Tisch, dass die Perlen und die
Drähte nicht zu sehen sind. Erst dann können die
Zuschauer den Raum betreten.
• Erkläre deinem Publikum, dass du drei verknotete Tücher
verhext hast. Sie werden sich nur durch deine Gedanken-
kraft entknoten und zu Boden schweben.
• Nimm das Band wie beschrieben in deine Hände. Achte
darauf, dass niemand die Perlen und Drähte sieht.

• Bitte einen Freiwilligen, nach vorne zu kommen und laut
eine beliebige Tuchfarbe zu nennen.
• Anschließend bittest du ihn, ganz leicht gegen das ent-
sprechende Tuch zu pusten. Gleichzeitig bewegst du mög-
lichst unauffällig die entsprechende Perle.
• Deine Zuschauer werden ihren Augen nicht trauen: Das
Tuch entknotet sich wie von Geisterhand vom Band und
fällt zu Boden.
• Als Zugabe kannst du einen weiteren Zuschauer bitten, dir
eine der übrigen Tuchfarben zu nennen. Das Erstaunen
wird groß sein, wenn sich nur Sekunden später das
genannte Tuch ebenfalls entknotet.

Tipps:
• Achte darauf, dass niemand dein Zauberzubehör in die
Hand nimmt.
• Diesen Trick kannst du ohne Vorbereitung nicht sofort wie-
derholen. Vielleicht kennst du ja noch weitere Tricks? Dann
kannst du deinem Publikum ein kleines Zauberprogramm
vorführen.

I'm the great and famous HABAMUS and I would like to wel-
come you to our magical community.
This magic top-hat has endowed you with great responsibi-
lity; with a little practice and diligence you will be able to
enchant people.You will astonish them and lead them to
believe in your magic powers.
But don't tell anybody how the trick works, so that you keep
the secrets of our magical community and can enchant
people over and over again.

Imagine …
The curtain rises.
You show to your audience a ribbon to which three scarves
are tightly knotted. Explain that you cast a spell on the scar-
ves and you are able to untie the knots using only your
magical mental powers.
Then you ask someone from the audience to choose the color
of one scarf and blow a slight puff against it. As if unknotted
by a magical hand, the scarf loosens and sways down.
Then you ask the audience to state the color of one of the

remaining scarves. And then at that very instant, the corres-
ponding scarf unties itself and falls down.
You want to know how the trick is done!

The Secret of the Magic Scarves Trick
1. Before starting the performance, examine the ribbon
carefully. On the backside you will find three colored
beads (picture 1).
2. Each of the beads is connected to a metal stick.
3. As you gently pull at a bead, the stick moves with it.
(picture 2).
4. The trick will only work well, if you fix the scarves in a
special way to the ribbon.
5. First, place the ribbon across the red piece of scarf
(picture 3).
6. Loop the red scarf around the ribbon, as shown

(picture 4).
7. As shown, fix the scarf by means of the metal stick to
the ribbon (picture 5).
8. Repeat steps 5 to 7 with the blue and the yellow scarves.
9. Hold up the ribbon sliding your forefinger through the
straps at both ends of the ribbon (picture 6).
10. Hold the ribbon in such a way that you reach the beads
with your thumbs and can pull at them (picture 7).
11. As you pull at a bead the corresponding scarf “unknots”
as if by magic and sways down.

Hints:
• Practice the trick various times in front of a mirror.The
audience should not be aware that you are pulling at the
beads with your thumb.
• Try not to look at your hands when pulling out the stick.
• Memorize which bead belongs to which scarf.Then you
will be able to close your eyes during the performance
and pretend that you open the knots by pure mental
power.
Once you have practiced the trick various times in
front of a mirror you can give your first grand magic
performance. Please read the following tips for a truly
magical performance:

• Before starting the performance, fix the scarves to the
ribbon -as described.
• Place the ribbon on the table so that the beads and the
metal sticks cannot be seen. Only then may the audience
enter the room.
• Explain that you have cast a spell on three knotted scarves
and that by mere mental power you can untie them and
they will fall down.
• Take the ribbon -as described. Make sure nobody sees the
beads and metal sticks.
• Ask someone to volunteer and come up to the stage.
They should name the color of any of the three scarves.
• Then ask them to slightly puff at the corresponding scarf.
Simultaneously you pull at the corresponding bead, as

discretely as possible of course.
• The audience won't believe their eyes: the scarf unknots
itself as if by magic from the ribbon and falls down to the
floor.
• Offer another. Ask someone else from the audience to
announce the color of any of the remaining pieces of
cloth. They will be overwhelmed and amazed when just a
few seconds later the corresponding scarf falls down.
Hints:
• Make sure nobody touches your magic material
• You cannot repeat this trick without preparation. Maybe
you know other tricks and can offer a small program of
magic to your audience.
