1. EINFÜHRUNG

Herzlichen Glückwunsch und vielen Dank für den Kauf des Netzwerk Kabeltester. Alle von uns ver-

triebenen Geräte entsprechen, den bei Kauf gültigen Sicherheitsbestimmungen und sind bei bestim-

mungsgemäßem Gebrauch grundsätzlich sicher! Beachten Sie bitte die nachfolgenden Hinweise,

um mögliche Gefahren, Beschädigungen oder Fehlfunktionen zu vermeiden.

Diese Bedienungsanleitung und Sicherheitshinweise gehören zum Lieferumfang des Netzwerk-

Kabeltest-Geräts. Sie enthält wichtige Informationen zur Handhabung des Produkts. Zum ein-

facheren Lesen der Bedienungsanleitung und Sicherheitshinweise wird der Netzwerk Kabel-

tester im Folgenden als „Kabeltester“ bezeichnet. Bitte lesen Sie sich die Bedienungsanleitung

vollständig und sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie den Kabeltester verwenden. Dies betrifft vor allem

die Sicherheitshinweise. Ein Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung kann zu Verletzungen

oder zur Beschädigung des Kabeltesters führen. Bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung zur

zukünftigen Verwendung auf. Falls Sie den Kabeltester anderen Personen überlassen, stellen

Sie sicher, dass Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung beilegen.

3. BESTIMMUNGSMÄSSIGER GEBRAUCH /

• Kabeltester für ungeschirmte (UTP) oder geschirmte (STP/FTP) RJ-45-Modular-

stecker-Systeme bzw. RJ-11 (RJ-12) Modularstecker von Netzwerkkabel

• Der Prüfablauf erfolgt automatisch

• Leicht ablesbarer Kabelstatus, der Durchgang, Kabelunterbrechungen, Kabelkurzschlüsse

und Belegungsfehler erkennt

• Mit der Remote-Einheit ist es möglich, Kabel mit großen Längen zu überprüfen und zu testen

4. ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITS- & WARTUNGSHINWEISE

• Bei dem Kabeltester handelt es sich um ein elektronisches Produkt, welches nicht in Kinderhände

gehört! Bewahren Sie diesen deshalb außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

• Bitte benutzen Sie das Testgerät nicht bei angeschlossenen Kabeln die sich im Betrieb be-

finden. Das Gerät könnte beschädigt werden!

• Der Kabeltester darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut werden. Das Gehäuse darf nicht ge-

öffnet werden.

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nur in trockenen und geschlossenen Umgebungen. Schützen Sie

das Produkt vor Feuchtigkeit.

• Lassen Sie das Produkt nicht fallen und setzen Sie es keinen starken Erschütterungen aus.

• Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien Tuch. Achten Sie hierbei besonders

darauf, dass kein Wasser (keine Flüssig-/ Feuchtigkeit) in das Produkt gelangt.

6. INBETRIEBNAHME DES KABELTESTERS

Bitte lesen Sie folgende Abschnitte und führen Sie die Schritte in der dargestellten Reihenfolge

durch um eine falsche Installation zu vermeiden.

• Bei Erstinbetriebnahme bzw. wenn die Power LED nicht mehr blinkt, wird eine neue Batterie

benötigt

• 9V 6LRG61–Blockbatterie in Batteriefach der MASTER – Einheit einlegen (siehe Seite 2,

Abbildung 9)

• Um ein Beschädigung des Geräts durch auslaufende Batterien zu verhindern, entfernen Sie

bei längerem nicht benutzen des Kabeltesters die Batterien

7. BEDIENUNG

Verbinden Sie die Stecker des zu messenden Kabels mit den entsprechenden Buchsen des

MASTER - und des REMOTE-Gerätes. Durch Drücken des Schalters auf ON, wird das Gerät

in den „schnellen Testmodus“ versetzt. Dabei wird jeder einzelne Kontakt des Kabels nach-

einander überprüft. Der elektrische Anschluss wird am MASTER und am REMOTE-Gerät über

eine LED angezeigt.

Unterbrechungen werden über ein Nichtaufleuchten der jeweiligen Adern-LED angezeigt.

Kurzschlüsse zwischen den Adern über ein gleichzeititges Aufleuchten der am Kurzschluss

beteiligten Adern.

2. Es könnenmittels der Anzeigen am jeweiligen Anzeigeteil auch weitergehende Rückschlüsse

auf den Fehler getroffen werden.

BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG

Bei gleichzeitigem Kurzschluss und Unterbrechung wird auf Master- und Remote-Einheit angezeigt

welches Problem vorliegt.

Durch Drücken des Schalters in die Position S, schalten Sie das Gerät in den „langsamen Testmodus“.

Durch Drücken des Schalters in die Position OFF, schalten Sie das Gerät aus. Das Messergebnis wird über

die Status-LEDs an beiden Geräten angezeigt. Bei Kabeln mit Schirmung leuchtet zusätzlich die G – LED.

1. INTRODUCTION

Congratulations and many thanks for the purchase of the network cable tester. All devices that we

distribute comply with the safety regulations valid at the time of purchase, and are safe provided

they are used for the intended purpose. Please observe the following instructions to avoid possible

hazards, damage and malfunctions.

These Operating and Safety Instructions are included with the network cable tester.

They contain important information on how to use the product. To facilitate the reading of the

Operating and Safety Instructions, hereafter we refer to the network cable tester as "cable

tester". Please read the instruction manual carefully, in particular the safety instructions,

before using the cable tester. This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to

follow these operating instructions can result in serious injury or damage to the cable tester.

Retain the instructions for future reference. If you give the cable tester to another person,

make sure it is accompanied by this instruction manual.

4. GENERAL SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

• The cable tester is an electronic product that should not be left in the hands of children!

Therefore, keep it out of the reach of children.

• Do not use the tester on live cables, as it could be damaged.

• Do not make alterations to it. The housing must not be opened.

• Use the product only in dry and closed environments. Protect the product from moisture.

• Do not drop the product or expose it to strong vibrations.

• Clean only with a lint-free cloth. In doing this, especially ensure that no water (no fluid or

moisture) gets into the product.

6. STARTING UP THE TESTER

Please read the following paragraphs and execute the steps in the indicated order to avoid

improper installation.

• Insert a new battery when you first use the tester, or if the Power LED is not blinking.

• Insert a 9V 6LRG61 battery in the master unit battery compartment (see page 2,

fig. 9).

• To avoid damage due to battery leakage, remove the battery if you will not be using the

tester for a long time.

7. INSTRUCTIONS

Plug the cable into the appropriate sockets of the master and remote devices. When you press

the ON switch, the unit will go into Fast Test mode and check each cable contact in sequence.

The electrical connection is displayed on LEDs on the master and remote units. Press the

switch to S for Slow Test mode. Press the switch to position OFF to switch the unit off. The

status LEDs on both units display the result. The “G” LED will also light for shielded cables

1. INTRODUCTION

de l'achat et, en général, sont toujours sûrs s'ils sont utilisés dans le cadre de l'usage pour

lequel ils sont prévus. Suivez les instructions suivantes pour éviter les risques, dommages ou

dysfonctionnements possibles.

Le présent mode d'emploi et ces consignes de sécurité sont fournis avec le testeur de câbles

réseau Ils contiennent des informations importantes sur la manipulation du produit. Afin de

faciliter la lecture du mode d'emploi et des consignes de sécurité, nous nous référons au

testeur de câbles réseau comme "testeur de câbles". Veuillez lire attentivement le mode

4. INSTRUCTIONS GÉNÉRALES DE SÉCURITÉ ET

D'ENTRETIEN

• Le testeur de câbles est un produit électronique qui ne doit pas se retrouver dans des mains

d'enfants ! Par conséquent, gardez-le hors de portée des enfants.

• N'utilisez pas le testeur sur les câbles en utilisation s'ils ne sont pas branchés. Cela risquerait

d'endommager l'appareil !

• Le testeur de câble réseau ne doit pas être démonté ni modifié. Il ne faut pas ouvrir le

boîtier.

• Utilisez le produit exclusivement dans un environnement sec et fermé. Protégez le produit

contre l'humidité.

• Ne faites pas tomber le produit et ne l'exposez pas à des chocs violents.

• Pour nettoyer ce produit, utilisez un chiffon non pelucheux. Faites particulièrement attention

à ce qu'aucun liquide (humidité, eau) ne pénètre dans le produit.

6. MISE EN SERVICE DU TESTEUR DE CÂBLE

Veuillez lire les paragraphes suivants et exécuter les instructions dans l'ordre indiqué pour

éviter de procéder à une installation incorrecte.

• Lors de la mise en service ou si la diode témoin de l'alimentation ne clignote plus, une

nouvelle batterie doit être installée.

• 9V 6LRG61 – Insérez la batterie dans le compartiment de l'unité principale (voir page 2,

figure 9).

• Pour ne pas risquer d'endommager l'appareil à cause de fuites des batteries, retirez-les du

testeur de câbles si vous ne l'utilisez pas pendant une période prolongée.

7. UTILISATION

Branchez les connecteurs des câbles à mesurer aux connecteurs correspondants des unités

MASTER et REMOTE. Appuyez sur ON pour faire passer l'appareil en mode « Test rapide ». Tous

les contacts sont alors testés les uns après les autres. Une diode signale que le branchement

électrique des unités MASTER et REMOTE est effectué. Placez l'interrupteur sur la position S

pour faire passer l'appareil en mode « Test lent ». Placez l'interrupteur sur la position OFF

pour éteindre l'appareil. Le résultat de la mesure est indiqué par les diodes d'état des deux

appareils. Dans le cas de câbles blindés, la diode G s'allume également.

1. INTRODUZIONE

Congratulazioni e grazie di aver acquistato questo tester per cavi di rete. Tutti i nostri apparecchi

sono conformi alle disposizioni di sicurezza vigenti al momento dell’acquisto e sono generalmente

sicuri in caso di utilizzo conforme alle disposizioni. Rispettare le seguenti avvertenze per evitare

eventuali pericoli, danneggiamenti o malfunzionamenti.

Queste istruzioni per l’uso e avvertenze di sicurezza sono parte integrante della fornitura del

tester per cavi di rete. Contengono importanti informazioni riguardo all’uso del prodotto. Per

4. AVVERTENZE GENERALI SULLA SICUREZZA E

SULLA MANUTENZIONE

• Il tester per cavi è un prodotto elettronico che non deve giungere nelle mani dei bambini. Pertan-

to, tenerlo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.

• Non utilizzare lo strumento di prova con i cavi collegati in funzione. L’apparecchio potrebbe

essere danneggiato!

• Non si devono effettuare modifiche o trasformazioni al tester per cavi. L’alloggiamento non

deve essere aperto.

• Utilizzare il prodotto soltanto in un ambiente asciutto e al chiuso. Proteggere il prodotto

dall’umidità.

• Non far cadere il prodotto e non esporlo ad urti violenti.

• Pulire questo prodotto soltanto con un panno privo di peli. Prestare particolare attenzione a

evitare che l'acqua (o un prodotto liquido/umidità) penetri nel prodotto.

6. MESSA IN FUNZIONE DEL TESTER PER CAVI

Per evitare di eseguire un’installazione scorretta, leggere i seguenti paragrafi e svolgere le

operazioni nella sequenza indicata.

• Durante la prima messa in funzione e rispettivamente se il LED di alimentazione non lam-

peggia più, occorre una nuova batteria

• Mettere la batteria monoblocco 6LRG61 da 9 V nel vano batterie dell’unità MASTER (vede-

re pagina 2, Figura 9)

• Per evitare il danneggiamento dell’apparecchio dovuto a batterie con perdite, rimuovere le

batterie in caso di non utilizzo prolungato del tester per cavi

7. USO

Collegare lo spinotto del cavo da misurare con la presa corrispondente dell’unità MASTER e di

quella REMOTE. Premendo l’interruttore su ON, l’apparecchio passa nella “Modalità di prova

rapida”. Durante questa operazione si controlla ogni singolo contatto del cavo, uno dopo l’altro.

Il collegamento elettrico sull’unità MASTER e sull’unità REMOTE è segnalato dal LED. Premendo

l’interruttore sulla posizione S, l’apparecchio si commuta nella “Modalità di prova lenta”. Pre-

mendo l’interruttore sulla posizione OFF, si spegne il dispositivo. Il risultato della misurazione

è indicato tramite il LED di stato su entrambi i dispositivi. Nei cavi schermati s’illumina inoltre

il LED G.

1. ÚVOD

Blahopřejeme a děkujeme vám, že jste si koupili tester kabelů. Všechny přístroje, které prodáváme,

odpovídají bezpečnostním předpisům platným ke dni prodeje a jsou při správném používání

v zásadě bezpečné! Aby byla vyloučena možná rizika, poškození nebo chybná funkce, respektujte

následující pokyny.

Tento návod k obsluze a bezpečnostní pokyny jsou součástí dodávky přístroje k testování

síťových kabelů. Návod obsahuje důležité informace k používání výrobku a zacházení s ním.

Ke snadnějšímu čtení návodu k obsluze a bezpečnostních pokynů je tester síťových kabelů

dále v textu uváděn jako „tester kabelů“. Před prvním použitím testeru kabelů si pozorně

přečtěte celý návod k použití. To se týká především bezpečnostních pokynů. Nedodržení tohoto

návodu k obsluze může mít za následek úrazy nebo poškození testeru kabelů. Návod k použití

si dobře uschovejte k budoucímu použití. Jestliže přenecháte tester kabelů jiným osobám, vždy

k přístroji přiložte tento návod k obsluze.

4. VŠEOBECNÉ BEZPEČNOSTNÍ POKYNY A POKYNY

K ÚDRŽBĚ

• Tento tester kabelů je elektronické zařízení, které nepatří do rukou dětem! Proto ho ukládejte

z dosahu dětí.

• Nepoužívejte testovací zařízení na připojených kabelech v provozu. Může dojít k poškození

přístroje!

• Tester kabelů je zakázáno upravovat nebo přestavovat. Je zakázáno otevírat plášť přístroje.

• Výrobek používejte jen v suchých a uzavřených prostorách. Chraňte výrobek před vlhkostí.

• Výrobek nenechávejte spadnout a nevystavujte ho žádným silnějším otřesům.

• Výrobek čistěte výhradně utěrkou, ze které se neuvolňují vlákna. Dbejte zejména na to, aby

do výrobku nepronikla voda (kapalina ani vlhkost).

6. UVEDENÍ TESTERU KABELŮ DO PROVOZU

Přečtěte si následující odstavce a popsané kroky proveďte v uvedeném pořadí, předejdete tím

chybám v instalaci.

• Při prvotním uvedení do provozu, nebo pokud kontrolka Power LED již nebliká, budete po-

třebovat novou baterii.

• Vložte blokovou baterii 9 V 6LRG61 do přihrádky na baterie jednotky MASTER (viz strana 2,

obrázek 9).

• K zabránění poškození přístroje vytečením baterií vyjměte baterie z přístroje, pokud nebu-

dete tester kabelů delší dobu používat.

7. OBSLUHA

Spojte konektor měřeného kabelu s příslušnými zdířkami přístrojů MASTER a REMOTE.

Přepnutím tlačítka do polohy ON přepnete přístroj do „rychlého testovacího režimu“. Přitom

probíhá postupně kontrola všech jednotlivých kontaktů kabelu. Elektrické připojení je na

přístroji MASTER a REMOTE indikováno kontrolkou LED. Přepnutím přepínače do polohy S

nastavíte na přístroji „režim pomalého testování“. Přepnutím přepínače do polohy OFF přístroj

vypnete. Výsledek měření je indikován stavovými kontrolkami LED na obou přístrojích.

V případě kabelů se stíněním navíc svítí kontrolka LED „G“.

1. INTRODUCCIÓN

los dispositivos que comercializamos cumplen las normas de seguridad válidas en el momento de la

compra y, en general, son seguros siempre que se utilicen para el uso previsto. Tenga en cuenta las

siguientes indicaciones para evitar posibles riesgos, daños o fallos de funcionamiento.

Este manual de instrucciones y las indicaciones de seguridad son parte del suministro del

probador de cable de red. Contiene información importante sobre el manejo del producto. Para

facilitar la lectura del manual de instrucciones e indicaciones de seguridad, en lo sucesivo nos

referiremos al probador de cable de red como «probador de cable». Por favor, lea completa y

detenidamente el manual de instrucciones antes de utilizar el probador de cable. En particular,

las indicaciones de seguridad. El incumplimiento del presente manual de instrucciones puede

provocar lesiones graves o el deterioro del probador de cable. Guarde el manual de instruc-

4. INDICACIONES GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD Y

MANTENIMIENTO

• ¡El probador de cable es un producto electrónico que no debe dejarse en manos infantiles!

Por tanto, manténgalo fuera del alcance de los niños.

• No utilice el aparato de prueba con cables conectados que se encuentran en funcionamiento.

¡El aparato podría sufrir daños!

• El probador de cable no se debe modificar ni reformar. No se debe abrir la carcasa.

• Utilice el producto exclusivamente en entornos secos y cerrados. Proteja el producto de la

humedad.

• No deje caer el producto ni lo someta a fuertes sacudidas.

• Para limpiar este producto, utilice solo un paño que no suelte pelusas. A este respecto,

procure especialmente que no penetre agua (fluido/humedad) en el producto.

6. PUESTA EN MARCHA DEL PROBADOR DE CABLE

Por favor, lea los siguientes párrafos y ejecute los pasos en elorden indicado para evitar una

instalación incorrecta.

• Al poner el aparato en marcha por primera vez o cuando el LED de encendido deja de

parpadear, se necesita una pila nueva

• Introducir la pila de bloque 6LRG61 de 9 V en el compartimento de la pila de la unidad

MASTER (véase la 2, figura 9)

• Para que el aparato no sufra daños por pilas agotadas, retire las pilas en caso de que el

probador de cable haya estado mucho tiempo sin utilizarse

7. MANEJO

Conecte el conector del cable a medir con los casquillos correspondientes del aparato MASTER

y el aparato REMOTE. Presionando el interruptor a ON, el aparato se pone en el «modo de

test rápido». Así se van revisando sucesivamente cada uno de los contactos del cable. La

conexión eléctrica se muestra en el aparato MASTER y el aparato REMOTE mediante un LED.

Presionando el interruptor a la posición S, el aparato se pone en el «modo de test lento».

Presionando el interruptor a la posición OFF, el aparato se apaga. El resultado de la medición

se muestra mediante los LED de estado en ambos aparatos. En el caso de cables con blindaje,

se ilumina adicionalmente el LED – G.
