Congratulations! You have just purchased the exceptional SOPHIE / SOPHIE

LITTLE aroma diffuser. She will bring you a great deal of pleasure and im-

prove the ambient air for you.

As with all domestic electrical appliances, particular care is needed with

this model also, in order to avoid injury, fire damage or damage to the appli-

ance. Please study these operating instructions carefully before using the

appliance for the first time and follow the safety advice on the appliance

itself.

Description of the appliance

The appliance consists of the following main components:

Important safety instructions

Please read through the operating instructions carefully before you use the

appliance for the first time and keep them safely for later reference; if nec-

essary pass them on to the next owner.

• Stadler Form refuses all liability for loss or damage which arises as a

result of failure to follow these operating instructions.

• The appliance is only to be used in the home for the purposes described

in these instructions. Unauthorised use and technical modifications to the

appliance can lead to danger to life and health.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruc-

tion concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and

user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Only connect the cable to alternating current. Observe the voltage infor-

mation given on the appliance.

• Do not use damaged extension cords.

• Do not run the power cord over sharp edges and make sure that it does

not get trapped.

• Do not pull the plug from the socket with wet hands or by holding on to

the power cord.

• Do not use the appliance in immediate vicinity of a bath tub, a shower or

a swimming pool (observe a minimum distance of 0.7 m). Place the appli-

ance such that a person in the bath tub cannot touch the appliance.

• The product is protected according to standard IP44 against solid foreign bod-

ies more than 1 mm in diameter and against access by a wire and is splash-

proof from all sides.

• Only use the device directly on the house wall or under a canopy. The device

must not be exposed to rain or snow.

• Keep the device away from heat sources.

• This device contains a lithium battery.

• In case of battery leakage: Avoid contact with human eyes and skin. Collect

spillage.

• Do not place the appliance near a heat source. Do not subject the power

cord to direct heat (such as a heated hotplate, open flames, hot iron sole

plates or heaters for example). Protect power cords from oil.

• Do not drop the device. Otherwise the battery may overheat, cause a fire or

malfunction and reduce service life.

• See to it that the appliance is properly positioned to ensure a high stability

during its operation and make sure that no one can trip over the power cord.

• Do not store the appliance outdoors.

• Store the appliance in a dry place inaccessible to children (pack the appli-

ance).

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a

repair shop authorized by the manufacturer or by similarly qualified persons

in order to avoid a hazard.

• Only use fragrances, aromas or essential oils that do NOT contain alcohol.

Alcohol can damage the appliance. Appliances that are damaged by such

additives are not covered by the warranty.

• Never leave water in the water container when the appliance is not in use.

• Clean the water container every 3 days

• Prior to any maintenance, cleaning and after each use, switch off the appli-

ance and unplug the mains cable from the socket.

• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a qualified elec-

trical technician.

• WARNING: Only use the USB cable provided by the manufacturer. Use only

an external supply with the following specifications:

extra low voltage

5 V / 2 A.

Setting up / operation

1. Place Sophie / Sophie little in the desired position on a flat surface.

Re-

move the cover from the connector for the USB-C cable (2). Keep the cover in

a safe place as it is essential for outdoor use: it protects the device against

the ingression of water and dust.

Connect the USB-C cable (1) to the appli-

ance (2) and connect the cable to a suitable power source (PC, external

battery, USB socket or to a suitable socket via a power adapter with min.

2 A/5 V). When the appliance is used for the first time, the battery must

be charged by connecting the appliance to a power source for at least

(Sophie little) resp. 7h (Sophie)

When the battery is fully charged, the bat-

tery charge status LED (5) will go out. If the LED starts to flash, the battery

is almost dead (charge level 10% or less).

After the battery has been fully

charged for the first time, you can operate the appliance without the cable

using the power from the integrated rechargeable battery. A fully charged

battery will give the appliance a running time of up to 7 h

(Sophie little) or

11h (Sophie)

. When the water container is full and the appliance is con-

nected to a power source, it can operate for up to 16 h.

2. Sophie & Sophie little are certified splash-proof (IP44), making them

suitable for use in covered areas outdoors. In such cases, the USB-C con-

nector must always be protected using the cover provided (2). Make sure

that your device is not exposed to rain or snow. The device should only be

charged by plugging it into a power socket indoors.

3. Tilt the carrying handle all the way down and remove

the upper part (10)

to fill with water and fragrance.

4. Fill the water container (6) up to the maximum mark (MAX) (7) with wa-

ter. No water may enter the air outlet opening (9). This will damage the

appliance and will void any claim to the warranty.

5. Important: transport the appliance in an upright position and without

making any jerky movements if there is water in the container (6). If the

appliance is moved quickly or tilted, water may leak out and run into the

electronics inside the appliance. This will damage the appliance and will

void any claim to the warranty.

6. Add 2–3 drops of your favourite liquid fragrance directly into the water.

It is not necessary to mix them as the ultrasonic membrane (8) does

this for you. Only use fragrances, aromas or essential oils that do NOT

contain alcohol.

If the fragrance is not intensely enough, you can increase

the number of drops.

7. Put the upper part (10) back on the lower part (6) so that it locks into place.

8. Then switch Sophie / Sophie little on by pressing the on/off button (3).

9. If you would like to top the water up, switch off the appliance and dis-

connect the USB cable if it is connected to the appliance (1 + 2). Remove

the upper part (10) and fill the water up to the maximum mark.

10. If you are disturbed by the brightness of the illuminated mist (in the

bedroom, for example), you can reduce the brightness of the LEDs by

pressing the dimmer button (4). You can choose between three different

modes:

• Normal mode (switched on as standard)

• Dimmed mode (press once)

• Light-off mode (press twice)

You can return to normal mode by re-pressing the dimmer button (4).

11. On the back of the bottom part above the connection for the USB cable

(2), you will find the status display for the battery (3):

• Normal operation with fully charged battery: LED is not illuminated

• Battery level 10 % or lower: LED flashes

• Battery is charging: LED is illuminated constantly

When the device is fully charged, the LED will go out. You can now dis-

connect the USB cable and use the device in battery mode (for up to

7 hours Sophie little / 11 hours Sophie).

Note: If you would like to change the fragrance, empty Sophie / Sophie lit-

tle completely and clean the water container with a damp cloth. Fill Sophie

/ Sophie little once again and pour the drops into the device following the

instructions.

Cleaning

Prior to any maintenance and after each use, switch off the appliance and

disconnect the USB cable (1) from it.

Careful: Never immerse the device in water (danger of short circuit).

• Daily: Fill the appliance with fresh, cold tap water. If the appliance is not

used for several days, empty the water from the lower part (6) beforehand

and if necessary, clean it with a bit of dish detergent and a clean cloth.

Fill fresh water into the lower part (6) before putting the appliance back

into operation.

• Regularly as required: To clean the outside, rub with a damp cloth and

then dry thoroughly.

• If you have hard water (with a high lime content), a white coating will build

up on the inside of the upper part made of acrylic glass. This coating con-

sists of very fine limescale particles that you can wipe off easily with a cloth

or microfibre cloth.

• If there are marks caused by water and/or fragrances on the upper part

(10), clean it with a damp cloth and a squirt of washing-up liquid. Then dry

the upper part thoroughly before using the appliance again. Alternatively,

you can put the top part in the dishwasher.

• Internal cleaning: You can clean the ultrasonic membrane with a con-

ventional household descaler. If there are lime deposits, we recommend

that you use Stadler Form Cleaner & Descaler (www.stadlerform.com/

accessories). Alternatively, you can use a household descaling agent or

vinegar. Please do not try to scratch off deposits from the membrane with

a hard object. For stubborn deposits, we recommend that you descale

the device several times in a row. After the descaling rinse the base and

then dry thoroughly.

• No water may enter the air outlet opening (9). This will damage the appli-

ance and will void any claim to the warranty.

Repairs

• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by a qualified

electrical technician. If improper repairs are carried out, the warranty

lapses and all liability is refused.

• Never operate the appliance if the adaptor or plug is damaged, after it has

malfunctioned, if it has been dropped or has been damaged in any other

way (cracks/breaks in the casing).

• Do not push any object into the appliance.

• If the appliance is beyond repair, make it unusable immediately by cutting

through the cable and hand it in at the collection point provided for the

purpose.

• In the event of a repair, the following points must be observed before the

appliance is shipped or taken to the dealer: completely empty the water

in the appliance (water tray or water tank), and allow the appliance to dry

completely. Appliances containing residual water may be damaged during

transport, invalidating the warranty.

Disposal

The European directive 2012 / 19 / CE on Waste Electrical and Electronic

Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must

not be disposed in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appli-

ances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and

recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human

health and the environment. The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the

product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appli-

ance it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local

authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their

old appliance. Battery disposal method: This appliance contains batteries

that are non-replaceable. When the battery is at end of life, the

appliance shall be properly disposed of. Do not throw into the

trash can, the electrode is wrapped in insulating paper, it can be

recycled and reused.

me SOPHIE / SOPHIE LITTLE erworben. Sie wird Ihnen viel Freude machen

und die Raumluft für Sie verbessern.

Wie bei allen elektrischen Haushaltsgeräten wird auch bei diesem Gerät zur

Vermeidung von Verletzungen, Brand- oder Geräteschäden besondere Sorg-

falt verlangt. Bitte studieren Sie die vorliegende Betriebsanleitung vor der

Inbetriebnahme und beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise auf dem Gerät.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise

Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung genau durch, bevor Sie das Gerät das

erste Mal in Betrieb nehmen und bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachschla-

gen gut auf, geben Sie sie ggf. an den Nachbesitzer weiter.

• Für Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Gebrauchsanleitung entste-

hen, lehnt Stadler Form jegliche Haftung ab.

• Das Gerät ist nur im Haushalt für die in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung be-

schriebenen Zwecke zu benutzen. Ein nicht bestimmungsgemässer Ge-

brauch sowie technische Veränderungen am Gerät können zu Gefahren

für Gesundheit und Leben führen.

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit einge-

schränkten körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten, aber

auch von unerfahrenen und unwissenden Personen verwendet werden,

sofern diese das Gerät unter Aufsicht verwenden oder von einer anderen

Person über die sichere Verwendung des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden

und sich der damit verbundenen Gefahren bewusst sind. Kinder sollten

nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Kinder sollten das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht

reinigen und pflegen.

• Schliessen Sie das Kabel nur an Wechselstrom an. Achten Sie auf die

Spannungsangaben auf dem Gerät.

• Keine beschädigten Verlängerungskabel verwenden.

• Das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder einklemmen.

• Den Stecker nie am Netzkabel oder mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose

ziehen.

• Das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Badewanne, einer Dusche

oder eines Schwimmbeckens benutzen (Mindestabstand von 0.7 m ein-

halten). Gerät so aufstellen, dass Personen das Gerät von der Badewanne

aus nicht berühren können.

• Das Produkt ist gemäss Norm IP44 geschützt gegen feste Fremdkörper

mit einem Durchmesser ab 1 mm und gegen Zugang mit einem Draht und

gegen Spritzwasser von allen Seiten.

• Gerät nur direkt an der Hauswand oder unter einem Vordach verwenden.

Es darf nicht direkt auf das Gerät regnen oder schneien.

• Gerät von Zündquellen fernhalten.

• Dieses Gerät enthält einen Lithium Akku.

• Bei Auslaufen des Akkus: Kontakt mit Augen und Haut vermeiden. Ver-

schüttete Flüssigkeit sammeln.

• Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle aufstellen. Das Netzkabel

keiner direkten Hitzeeinwirkung (wie z.B. heisse Herdplatten, offene

Flammen, heisse Bügeleisen oder Heizöfen) aussetzen. Netzkabel vor Öl

schützen.

• Gerät nicht fallen lassen. Andernfalls kann sich der Akku überhitzen, ei-

nen Brand verursachen oder die Funktion beeinträchtigen und die Lebens-

dauer verkürzen.

• Darauf achten, dass das Gerät beim Betrieb eine gute Standfestigkeit be-

sitzt und nicht über das Netzkabel gestolpert werden kann.

• Das Gerät nicht im Freien aufbewahren.

• Das Gerät an einem trockenen und für Kinder unzugänglichen Ort aufbe-

wahren (einpacken).

• Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es vom Hersteller oder in einer

vom Hersteller zugelassenen Werkstatt oder von ähnlich qualifizierten

Personen ersetzt werden, um Gefahren zu vermeiden.

• Nur Duftstoffe, Aromaöle oder ätherische Öle verwenden, die KEINEN

Alkohol enthalten. Alkohol kann das Gerät beschädigen. Geräte, die durch

solche Zusätze beschädigt werden, sind von der Garantie ausgeschlos-

sen.

• Niemals Wasser im Wasserbehälter lassen, wenn das Gerät nicht in Ge-

brauch ist.

• Wasserbehälter alle 3 Tage reinigen.

• Vor jeder Wartung, Reinigung und nach jedem Gebrauch das Gerät aus-

schalten und das Netzkabel von der Steckdose trennen.

• Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten dürfen nur von instruierten Fachkräften

durchgeführt werden.

• WARNHINWEIS: Verwenden Sie nur das vom Hersteller mitgelieferte

USB-Kabel. Verwenden Sie ausschliesslich eine externe Stromversor-

gung mit den folgenden Spezifikationen: Kleinspannung DC 5 V / 2 A.

Inbetriebnahme/Bedienung

1. Stellen Sie Sophie / Sophie little an den gewünschten Platz auf einen fla-

chen Untergrund. Entnehmen Sie die die Abdeckung vom Anschluss für

das USB-C Kabel (2). Bewahren Sie die Abdeckung gut auf, da diese für

die Outdoor-Anwendung zwingend ist. Sie schützt das Gerät vor Was-

ser- und Staubeintritt. Schliessen Sie das USB-C-Kabel (1) an das Gerät

(2) an und verbinden Sie das Kabel mit einer geeigneten Stromquelle

(Computer, externer Akku, USB-Steckdose oder über einen Stromadap-

ter mit mind. 2A / 5V an eine geeignete Steckdose). Das Gerät muss bei

der ersten Inbetriebnahme während mindestens 5h (Sophie little) bzw.

7h (Sophie) an einer Stromquelle aufgeladen werden. Einen vollständig

geladenen Akku erkennen Sie an der nicht leuchtenden Batterie Ladezu-

stand LED (5). Blinkt die LED, ist der Akku bald leer (10% Ladezustand

oder weniger). Nach dem ersten vollständigen Aufladen können Sie das

Gerät über den integrierten aufladbaren Akku kabellos betreiben. Ein

komplett aufgeladener Akku erlaubt eine Laufzeit des Geräts von bis zu

7 h (Sophie little) bzw. 11h (Sophie). Mit vollem Wasserbehälter an einer

Stromquelle angeschlossen, läuft das Gerät bis zu 16 h.

2. Sophie & Sophie little sind spritzwassergeschützt zertifiziert (IP44).

Damit ist eine Anwendung im gedeckten Aussenbereich möglich. Der

USB-C- Anschluss muss dabei immer mit der mitgelieferten Abdeckung

geschützt sein (2). Stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Regen oder Schnee auf

das Gerät gelangt. Das Gerät darf nur im Innenbereich an einer Steckdo-

se aufgeladen werden.

3. Kippen Sie den Tragegriff ganz nach unten und heben Sie das Oberteil ab

(10) um Wasser und Duftstoffe einzufüllen.

4. Füllen Sie den Wasserbehälter (6) bis zur Maximalmarke (MAX) (7) mit

Wasser. Es darf kein Wasser in die Luftaustrittsöffnung (9) gelangen.

Dies beschädigt das Gerät, wodurch jeglicher Anspruch auf Garantie

erlischt.

5. Wichtig: Transportieren Sie das Gerät aufrecht und ohne ruckartige

Bewegungen, wenn sich Wasser im Behälter (6) befindet. Bei schnel-

ler Bewegung oder Kippen kann Wasser aus dem Gerät treten und im

Geräteinneren in die Elektronik fliessen. Dies beschädigt das Gerät, wo-

durch jeglicher Anspruch auf Garantie erlischt.

6. Geben Sie 2–3 Tropfen Ihres flüssigen Lieblingsduftstoffes direkt ins

Wasser. Es ist nicht notwendig, diese zu vermischen, die Ultraschall-

membrane (8) übernimmt dies für Sie. Nur Duftstoffe, Aromaöle oder

ätherische Öle verwenden, die KEINEN Alkohol enthalten. Wenn Sie den

Duft nicht so intensiv wahrnehmen, können Sie die Anzahl der Tropfen

erhöhen.

7. Setzen Sie das Oberteil (10) wieder auf das Unterteil (6) bis es einrastet.

8. Nehmen Sie Sophie / Sophie little anschliessend in Betrieb indem Sie

den Ein/Aus-Knopf (3) drücken.

9. Möchten Sie das Wasser nachfüllen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und

ziehen Sie das USB-Kabel aus dem Gerät (1 + 2), falls diese angeschlos-

sen ist. Entfernen Sie das Oberteil (10) und füllen das Wasser bis zur

Maximalmarke auf.

10. Wenn Sie sich durch die Helligkeit des beleuchteten Nebels gestört

fühlen (im Schlafzimmer zum Beispiel), können sie die Leuchtintensität

der LED durch Drücken des Dimmer-Knopfes (4) reduzieren. Sie können

zwischen drei verschiedenen Modi wählen:

• Normaler Modus (standardmässig eingeschaltet)

• Gedimmter Modus (einmal drücken)

• Licht-aus Modus (zweimal drücken)

Durch nochmaliges Drücken des Dimmer-Knopfs (4) können Sie wieder in

den normalen Modus wechseln.

11. Auf der Rückseite des Unterteils oberhalb des Anschlusses für das USB-

Kabel (2) befindet sich die Statusanzeige für den Akku (5):

• Normaler Betrieb mit voller Akku-Ladung: LED leuchtet nicht

• Akkustand bei 10 % oder weniger: LED blinkt

• Akku wird aufgeladen: LED leuchtet durchgehend

Wenn das Gerät vollständig aufgeladen ist, dann erlischt die LED. Sie

können das USB Kabel nun rausziehen und das Gerät im Akku-Betrieb

benutzen (bis zu 7 h Sophie little / 11 h Sophie lang).

Hinweis: Möchten Sie den Duftstoff wechseln, leeren Sie Sophie / Sophie

little komplett und reinigen Sie den Wasserbehälter mit einem feuchten

Tuch. Befüllen Sie Sophie / Sophie little erneut und geben Sie die Tropfen

gemäss der Bedienungsanleitung ins Gerät.

Reinigung

Vor jeder Wartung und nach jedem Gebrauch das Gerät ausschalten und das

USB-Kabel (1) vom Gerät trennen.

Achtung: Das Gerät nie ins Wasser tauchen (Kurzschlussgefahr).

• Täglich: Gerät mit frischem, kaltem Leitungswasser auffüllen. Wird das

Gerät mehrere Tage nicht benutzt, leeren Sie vorab das Wasser aus dem

Unterteil (6) und reinigen es bei Bedarf mit etwas Spülmittel und einem

sauberen Tuch. Füllen Sie frisches Wasser in das Unterteil (6), bevor Sie

das Gerät wieder in Betrieb nehmen.

Lappen abreiben und danach gut trocknen.

• Bei hartem Wasser (stark kalkhaltig) lagert sich weisser Belag auf der In-

nenseite des Oberteils aus Acrylglas ab. Das sind feinste Kalkpartikel, die

Sie mit einem Lappen oder Mikrofastertuch einfach abwischen können.

• Wenn das Oberteil (10) oben Ablagerungen vom Wasser und/oder von

Duftstoffen aufweist, reinigen Sie es mit einem feuchten Lappen und ei-

nem Spritzer Geschirrspülmittel. Trocknen Sie das Oberteil danach gründ-

lich, bevor Sie das Gerät wieder in Betrieb nehmen. Alternativ können Sie

das Oberteil im Geschirrspüler reinigen.

• Interne Reinigung: Sie können nun die Ultraschallmembrane mit einem

herkömmlichen Haushaltentkalker reinigen. Für Kalkablagerungen emp-

fehlen wir den Stadler Form Reiniger & Entkalker zu verwenden (www.

stadlerform.com/zubehoer). Alternativ können Sie einen Haushaltentkal-

ker oder Essig verwenden. Bitte versuchen Sie nicht die Membrane mit

einem harten Gegenstand freizukratzen. Bei hartnäckigen Verkalkungen

empfehlen wir Ihnen das Gerät mehrmals nacheinander zu entkalken.

Nach dem Entkalken den Unterteil nachspülen und danach gründlich

trocknen.

• Es darf kein Wasser in die Luftaustrittsöffnung (9) gelangen. Dies beschä-

digt das Gerät, wodurch jeglicher Anspruch auf Garantie erlischt.

Reparaturen

• Reparaturen an Elektrogeräten (Wechseln des Netzkabels) dürfen nur

von instruierten Fachkräften durchgeführt werden. Bei unsachgemässen

Reparaturen erlischt die Garantie und jegliche Haftung wird abgelehnt.

• Nehmen Sie das Gerät nie in Betrieb, wenn ein Kabel oder Stecker be-

schädigt ist, nach Fehlfunktionen des Gerätes, wenn dieses herunterge-

fallen ist oder auf eine andere Art beschädigt wurde (Risse/Brüche am

Gehäuse).

• Nicht mit irgendwelchen Gegenständen in das Gerät eindringen.

• Ausgedientes Gerät sofort unbrauchbar machen (Netzkabel durchtren-

nen) und bei der dafür vorgesehenen Sammelstelle abgeben.

• Im Falle einer Re paratur müssen folgende Punkte beachtet werden, bevor

das Gerät verschickt oder zum Händler gebracht wird: das Wasser im Ge-

rät komplett ausleeren (Wasserwanne bzw. Wassertank) und das Gerät

vollständig trocknen lassen. Geräte mit Restwasser werden während des

Transports beschädigt. Die Garantie erlischt in diesem Falle.

Entsorgung

Die europäische Richtlinie 2012 / 19 / CE über Elektro- und Elektronik-Alt-

geräte (WEEE) verlangt, dass elektrische Haushaltsgeräte nicht über den

Restmüll oder sonstigen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden dürfen, sondern

an Sammelpunkten für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen

Geräten abgegeben werden müssen. So können die Verwertung der enthal-

tenen Materialien optimiert und ihre Auswirkungen auf die menschliche Ge-

sundheit und die Umwelt reduziert werden. Das durchgestrichene Abfallton-

Comme pour tous les appareils ménagers électriques, il est important d‘en-

tretenir cet appareil correctement afin d’éviter les blessures, les incendies ou

les dommages. Veuillez lire attentivement le présent mode d‘emploi avant la

mise en service et respecter les conseils de sécurité indiqués sur l’appareil.

L’appareil est composé des éléments principaux suivants :

Conseils de sécurité importants

Veuillez lire attentivement le mode d‘emploi avant la première mise en service

de l’appareil et conservez-le pour toute consultation ultérieure ou remettez-

le, le cas échéant, au nouveau propriétaire.

• La société Stadler Form décline toute responsabilité des dommages résul-

tant du non-respect des indications données dans ce mode d‘emploi.

• Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’aux fins domestiques décrites dans ce

mode d’emploi. Toute utilisation contraire à sa destination ainsi que toute

modification technique apportée à l’appareil peut entraîner des risques

pour la santé et la vie.

• Cet appareil peut être utilisé par les enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus et les per-

sonnes aux capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou ne

disposant pas de l’expérience ou de la connaissance nécessaire, sous sur-

veillance ou s’ils ont reçu les instructions concernant l’utilisation de l’appa-

reil et s’ils comprennent les dangers impliqués. Les enfants ne doivent pas

jouer avec l’appareil. Les opérations de nettoyage et d’entretien ne doivent

pas être effectuées par des enfants sans surveillance.

• Ne branchez le câble qu’au courant alternatif. Tenez compte des indications

de tension situées sur l‘appareil.

• Ne pas utiliser de rallonge électrique endommagée.

• Ne pas faire passer ou coincer le câble d’alimentation par-dessus des

arêtes vives.

• Ne jamais retirer la fiche de courant de la prise en tirant sur le câble d’ali-

mentation ou en ayant les mains mouillées.

• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil à proximité immédiate d’une baignoire, d’une

douche ou d’une piscine (respecter une distance minimum de 0.7 m). Placer

l’appareil de telle façon à ce que personne ne puisse le toucher à partir de

la baignoire.

• Selon la norme IP44, le produit est protégé contre l’intrusion de corps étran-

gers solides à partir d’un diamètre d’un millimètre et contre l’intrusion par fil

de fer et par des éclaboussures de toutes directions.

• N’utiliser l’appareil qu’à proximité directe du mur de la maison ou sous un

auvent. Il ne doit pas pleuvoir ou neiger directement dans l’appareil.

• Tenir l’appareil à l’écart de toute source d’inflammation.

• Cet appareil contient une batterie au lithium rechargeable.

• En cas de fuite de la batterie : éviter tout contact avec les yeux et la peau.

Collecter le liquide renversé.

• Ne pas placer l’appareil à proximité directe d‘ une source de chaleur. Ne

pas exposer le câble d’alimentation à la chaleur (comme p. ex. une plaque

chaude de cuisinière, flammes nues, semelle chaude de fer à repasser ou

poêles). Protéger le câble d’alimentation de tout contact avec de l‘huile.

• Ne pas laisser tomber l’appareil, faute de quoi la batterie risque de sur-

chauffer, d’occasionner un incendie ou de ne pas fonctionner correctement

ou de voir sa durée de vie réduite.

• Veiller à ce que l’appareil ait une bonne stabilité lors de son fonctionne-

ment et que l’on ne puisse pas trébucher sur le câble d’alimentation.

• L’appareil ne doit pas être conservé à l’extérieur.

• Conserver l’appareil à un endroit sec et hors de portée des enfants (l’emballer).

• Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, le faire remplacer par le fa-

bricant ou par un atelier agréé par le fabricant ou des personnes qualifiées

en conséquence, afin d’éviter tout danger.

• N’utilisez que des parfums, arômes ou huiles essentielles qui NE contien-

nent PAS d’alcool. L’alcool peut endommager l’appareil. Les appareils en-

dommagés par de tels additifs ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.

• Ne jamais laisser d’eau dans le réservoir lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé.

• Nettoyer le réservoir d’eau tous les trois jours.

• Pour éviter tout danger, faites remplacer le cordon d‘alimentation endom-

magé par le fabricant, un agent agréé ou une personne qualifiée.

• Les réparations sur les appareils électriques ne doivent être effectuées que

par des électriciens qualifiés.

• AVERTISSEMENT : veuillez utiliser uniquement le cordon USB fourni par le

fabricant. Utilisez uniquement une alimentation électrique externe avec les

spécifications suivantes :

Mise en marche/Manipulation

1. Posez Sophie / Sophie little à l’endroit voulu sur une surface plane.

Retirez

le bouchon de la prise pour câble USB-C (2). Conservez bien le bouchon, il

est absolument requis pour l’utilisation en extérieur. Il protège l’appareil

contre les intrusions d’eau et de poussière.

Branchez le cordon USB-C (1)

sur l’appareil (2) et raccordez-le à une source de courant appropriée (ordi-

nateur, batterie externe, prise USB ou prise de courant appropriée via un

adaptateur de courant de 2 A/5 V minimum). Avant la première mise en

service, chargez l’appareil à une source de courant pendant au moins

5 h

(Sophie little) ou 7 h (Sophie)

. La batterie est entièrement chargée lorsque

la LED d’état de la batterie est éteinte (5). Si la LED clignote, la batte-

rie est pratiquement vide (au maximum 10% de charge)

Après le premier

chargement complet, vous pouvez utiliser l’appareil sans fil grâce à sa bat-

terie rechargeable intégrée. Avec un chargement complet, l’appareil peut

fonctionner pendant 7 h maximum

(Sophie little) ou 11h (Sophie)

. Avec un

récipient d’eau plein, il peut fonctionner raccordé à une source de courant

pendant 16 h maximum.

2. Sophie et Sophie little sont certifiées quant à la protection contre les

éclaboussures (IP44). Il est donc possible de les utiliser en extérieur. La

prise USB-C doit toujours être protégée par le bouchon fourni (2). Assurez-

vous que ni la pluie, ni la neige ne puissent s’introduire dans l’appareil. Ne

recharger l’appareil que sur une prise murale située à l’intérieur.

3. Rabattez entièrement la poignée vers le bas et retirez la partie supérieure

(10) pour le remplir d’eau et de parfums.

4. A présent, remplissez le récipient d’eau (6) jusqu’à la marque du niveau

maximum (MAX) (7). L’eau ne doit en aucune manière pénétrer dans la

sortie d’air (9). Cela risque d’endommager l’appareil et annuler la garantie.

5. Attention : transportez l’appareil à la verticale et sans faire de mouve-

ments brusques lorsque le récipient (6) contient de l’eau. Elle risquerait

de pénétrer dans le système électronique si vous faites des mouvements

brusques ou si vous ne tenez pas l’appareil droit. Ceci endommagerait

l’appareil et annulerait la garantie.

6. Ajoutez 2–3 gouttes de votre parfum liquide préféré directement dans

l’eau. Il n’est pas nécessaire de les mélanger, la membrane à ultrasons

(8) s’en charge à votre place. N’utilisez que des parfums, arômes ou huiles

essentielles qui NE contiennent PAS d’alcool.

Si vous trouvez que le par-

fum diffusé n’est pas assez intense, vous pouvez augmenter le nombre de

gouttes.

7. Remettez la partie supérieure (10) sur la partie inférieure (6) jusqu’à en-

clenchement.

8. Puis mettez Sophie / Sophie little en marche en appuyant sur le commuta-

teur marche/arrêt (3).

9. Si vous souhaitez remplir le récipient d’eau, éteignez l’appareil et retirez le

cordon USB de l’appareil (1 + 2) s’il est branché. Ôtez

la partie supérieure

(10) et remplissez le récipient d’eau jusqu’à la marque de niveau maximum.

10. Si vous êtes gêné(e) par la luminosité de la brume illuminée (par ex. dans la

chambre à coucher), vous pouvez réduire l’intensité de la LED en appuyant

sur le commutateur de gradation d’intensité (4). Vous pouvez choisir entre

trois modes différents :

• Mode normal (en marche comme standard)

• Mode diminué (appuyez une fois)

• Mode éteint (appuyez deux fois)

Vous pouvez retourner en mode normal en ré appuyant sur le commutateur

du gradateur (4).

11. L’affichage d’état de la batterie (5) se trouve à l’arrière de la partie infé-

rieure, au dessus de la prise pour le cordon USB (2):

• Fonctionnement normal avec charge de batterie pleine : la LED est éteinte.

• Indicateur lorsque la batterie est chargée à 10 % ou moins : la LED clignote.

• La batterie est en cours de chargement : la LED est allumée en perma-

nence.

Lorsque l’appareil est entièrement rechargé, la LED s’éteint. Vous pou-

vez alors retirer le câble USB et utiliser l’appareil sur batterie (jusqu’à 7 h

Sophie little / 11 h Sophie

Remarque: Si vous souhaitez changer de parfum, videz entièrement Sophie /

Sophie little et nettoyez le récipient à eau avec un chiffon humide. Remplissez

de nouveau Sophie / Sophie little et ajoutez les gouttes dans l’appareil selon

le mode d’emploi.

Nettoyage

Avant chaque maintenance et après chaque utilisation, éteignez l’appareil et

débranchez le cordon USB (1) de l’appareil.

Attention: Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau (danger de court-circuit).

• Tous les jours: remplissez l’appareil avec de l’eau fraîche du robinet. Si l’ap-

pareil ne sert pas pendant quelques jours, videz l’eau de la partie inférieure

(6) et nettoyez cette dernière au besoin avec un peu de liquide vaisselle et

un chiffon propre. Remettez de l’eau fraîche dans la partie inférieure (6)

avant de remettre l’appareil en service.

• Régulièrement selon les besoins : Pour le nettoyage extérieur, essuyer avec

un chiffon humide, puis bien sécher.

• Si votre eau est dure (très calcaire), une couche blanche se dépose sur l’inté-

rieur de la partie supérieure en verre acrylique. Ce sont des particules de

calcaire très fines que vous pouvez essuyer tout simplement avec un chiffon

doux ou en microfibres.

• Lorsque

la partie supérieure

(10) présente des dépôts d’eau et/ou de par-

fums, veuillez la nettoyer avec un chiffon humide et une goutte de liquide

vaisselle. Séchez bien

la partie supérieure

avant de remettre l’appareil en

fonction. Vous pouvez également nettoyer la partie supérieure au lave-vais-

selle.

• Nettoyage intérieur : Vous pouvez à présent nettoyer la membrane à

ultrasons avec un détartrant ménager ordinaire. Contre les dépôts de cal-

caire, nous conseillons le nettoyant et détartrant de Stadler Form (www.

stadlerform.com/accessoires). Mais vous pouvez également utiliser

un détartrant ménager ou du vinaigre. Surtout n’essayez pas de gratter

la membrane avec un objet dur. En cas d’entartrage tenace, nous vous

recommandons de détartrer l’appareil plusieurs fois de suite. Après le

détartrage, rincer la partie inférieure, puis la sécher à fond.

• L’eau ne doit en aucune manière pénétrer dans la sortie d’air (9). Cela

risque d’endommager l’appareil et annuler la garantie.

Réparations

• Les réparations sur les appareils électriques ne doivent être effectuées que

par des électriciens qualifiés. La garantie s’éteint et toute responsabilité est

exclue en cas de réparations non conformes aux règles de l‘art.

• Ne mettez jamais l‘appareil en service en cas d’endommagement d’un cor-

don ou d’une fiche, après un dysfonctionnement de l’appareil causé par une

chute ou par une autre détérioration de l’appareil (boîtier fissuré/cassé).

• Ne pas pénétrer avec des objets quelconques dans l’appareil.

• Arrivé au bout de sa durée de vie, l’appareil doit immédiatement être rendu

inutilisable (sectionner le cordon d’alimentation) et être déposé dans une

déchetterie prévue à cet effet.

• Dans le cas d’une réparation, veuillez tenir compte des points suivants avant

d’envoyer l’appareil ou de le ramener en magasin: videz entièrement l’eau

de l’appareil (bac à eau ou réservoir à eau) et laissez complètement sécher

l’appareil. Les appareils contenant des restes d’eau s’abîment pendant le

transport. La garantie devient alors caduque.

Elimination

Conformément à la directive européenne 2012 / 19 / EC sur la mise au rebut

des déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques (DEEE), les appareils

ménagers usés ne doivent pas être jetés avec les déchets non triés. Ces ap-

pareils usés doivent être collectés séparément des déchets ménagers pour

optimiser la récupération et le recyclage de leurs composants dans le but de

réduire les effets négatifs sur la santé humaine et sur l’environnement. Le

symbole de poubelle avec roulettes et croix indique que ces produits doivent

être collectés et mis au rebut séparément des ordures ménagères. Les

consommateurs doivent contacter les autorités locales ou leurs revendeurs

concernant la mise au rebut de leurs vieux appareils. Élimination de la batterie

: Cet appareil contient une batterie non remplaçable. Lorsque la bat-

terie est arrivée en fin de vie, l’appareil doit être éliminé de manière

appropriée. Ne pas la jeter à la poubelle, l’électrode est enveloppée

dans du papier isolant, elle peut être recyclée et réutilisée.
