Telecomando MELICONI – AC100
Grazie per aver scelto un telecomando Meliconi.
Il telecomando AC100 è in grado di comandare un climatizzatore
domestico nelle sue principali funzioni.
Il display del telecomando è dotato di retroilluminazione per faci-
litarne l’utilizzo anche al buio.
ATTENZIONE il telecomando NON è dotato di memoria perma-
nente, pertanto con batterie completamente scariche o rimosse
perde l’impostazione oraria e il CODICE di attivazione.
Per evitare questo inconveniente si consiglia di effettuare la so-
stituzione delle batterie in modo rapido (entro 15 secondi) e sen-
za premere alcun tasto.
Il telecomando necessita di 2 batterie nuove AAA/LR03 alcaline
da 1,5 V. non fornite nella confezione. Inserirle rispettando la cor-
retta polarità come illustrato in fi gura.
NON usare batterie ricaricabili.
SOSTITUZIONE BATTERIE: Le batterie devono essere sostitui-
te quando sul display LCD simboli e caratteri appaiono poco visi-
bili, oppure quando la portata di funzionamento del telecomando
si riduce.
IMPORTANTE! Per evitare di perdere le impostazioni del teleco-
mando (orario e codice), si consiglia di effettuare il cambio delle
batterie in modo rapido (entro 15 secondi) e senza premere al-
cun tasto.

Il telecomando è dotato di orologio, per la regolazione operare
nel seguente modo:
A) Sul telecomando MELICONI premere e mantenere premuto il
tasto [SET] e, senza rilasciare, premere per un istante il tasto
[MODE], a questo punto l’indicazione delle ore inizia a lampeg-
giare.
B) Agendo sui tasti TEMP [▲] e [▼] impostare l’ora in formato AM
/ PM (per velocizzare lo scorrimento tenere premuti i tasti).
C) Premere nuovamente il tasto [SET] per poter regolare i minuti.
D) Agire ora sui tasti TEMP [▲] e [▼] per impostare i minuti.
E) Premere nuovamente il tasto [SET] per confermare e uscire
dalla modalità regolazione dell’orologio.
Prima di utilizzare il telecomando è indispensabile effettuare l’im-
postazione di uno specifi co codice abbinato al climatizzatore che
si desidera comandare.
Per Individuare il codice specifi co e impostarlo nel telecomando
si consiglia di utilizzare nell’ordine una delle seguenti modalità:
1) RICERCA DEL CODICE PER MARCA
2) IMPOSTAZIONE DIRETTA DEL CODICE
3) RICERCA GLOBALE AUTOMATICA
4) RICERCA GLOBALE MANUALE
IMPORTANTE!
Dopo aver individuato il codice corretto, visibile sul display in
basso a destra, annotarlo sull’etichetta all’interno del coperchio
batterie; al prossimo cambio di batterie potrebbe essere neces-
sario reimpostare il codice nel telecomando.

Si raccomanda di non lasciare inserite batterie esaurite,
potrebbero rilasciare liquido e danneggiare il telecomando
AVVERTENZE PER LA SICUREZZA
Il telecomando e le batterie non devono essere esposti a fonti di
calore eccessivo, quali irraggiamento solare, fuoco o similari. Il
prodotto non è un giocattolo; non deve essere lasciato alla porta-
ta di bambini o animali domestici.

AVVERTENZA
Quando il climatizzatore si accende, se non si è interve-
nuti rapidamente per fermare la ricerca, è possibile che
il telecomando sia già passato ai successivi codici e per-
tanto non è più in grado di comandare l’apparato.
Per arretrare sui codici tenere premuto il tasto [SET] e
premere per un istante il tasto
ON/OFF

; rilasciare i
tasti. Tramite il tasto TEMP [
▼
] posizionarsi sul codice
precedente e premere il tasto [SET]. Verifi carne il fun-
zionamento.
F) Premere per un istante il tasto [SET].
G) Puntando il telecomando MELICONI verso l’apparecchio veri-
fi care se il codice in uso è in grado di comandare l’apparato nelle
sue principali funzioni.
H) Se così non fosse ripetere la procedura dal punto C utilizzan-
do il successivo codice indicato nella tabella.
I) Una volta individuato un codice idoneo, visibile sul display in
basso a destra, annotarlo sull’etichetta presente all’interno del
coperchio batterie. In futuro potrebbe essere necessario reimpo-
stare il codice nel telecomando.
Se nessuno dei codici indicati per la MARCA è adatto a coman-
dare il climatizzatore, riferirsi al capitolo RICERCA GLOBALE
AUTOMATICA.
A)
Posizionarsi davanti all’apparecchio da comandare e
assicurarsi che sia spento (STAND-BY).
B)
Puntando il telecomando verso l’apparecchio premere
e tenere premuto il tasto [SET] per circa 8 secondi; sul di-
splay lampeggiano 4 trattini. Tenendo sempre premuto il
tasto [SET] PRESTARE ATTENZIONE; appena il climatiz-
zatore si accende rilasciare subito il tasto [SET] per fer-
mare la ricerca.
C)
Verifi care se anche gli altri tasti attivano le corrispon-
denti funzioni; se così non fosse, riferirsi al capitolo RI-
CERCA GLOBALE MANUALE.
A) Sul telecomando MELICONI premere e mantenere premuto il
tasto [SET] e, senza rilasciare, premere per un istante il tasto
ON/OFF
[ ]
; rilasciare i tasti. Il codice a 4 cifre sul display lam-
peggia.
B) Utilizzando i tasti TEMP [▲] e [▼] scorrere i codici sul display
fi no a posizionarsi sull’ultimo codice (4999) e premere il tasto
[SET].
C) Posizionarsi davanti all’apparecchio da comandare e assicu-
rarsi che sia spento (STAND-BY).
D) Sul telecomando MELICONI premere e mantenere premuto
il tasto [SET] e, senza rilasciare, premere per un istante il tasto
ON/OFF
[ ]
; rilasciare i tasti. Il codice a 4 cifre sul display lam-
peggia.
E) Puntando il telecomando verso l’apparecchio premere il ta-
sto TEMP [▲] lentamente per scorrere i codici uno ad uno fi no a
quando il climatizzatore si accende; a quel punto premere il tasto
[SET] per fermare la ricerca.
F) Verifi care se anche gli altri tasti attivano le corrispondenti fun-
zioni; se così non fosse, ripetere la procedura dal punto C) per
continuare la ricerca.
A) Riferendosi alla tabella sovrastante individuare la marca del
climatizzatore che si desidera comandare e annotare il tasto cor-
rispondente. Se la marca non è presente nella tabella riferirsi al
capitolo IMPOSTAZIONE DIRETTA DEL CODICE.
B) Posizionarsi davanti al climatizzatore e assicurarsi che sia in
spento (STAND-BY).
C) Puntando il telecomando MELICONI verso l’apparecchio PRE-
MERE e TENERE PREMUTO il tasto precedentemente individua-
to abbinato alla marca dell’apparato. (esempio marca HISENSE
= tasto MODE)
D) PRESTARE ATTENZIONE, appena il climatizzatore si accende
rilasciare SUBITO il tasto per fermare la ricerca.
E) Verifi care se anche gli altri tasti attivano le corrispondenti fun-
zioni; se così non fosse, ripetere la procedura dal punto B.
F) Una volta individuato un codice idoneo, visibile sul display in
basso a destra, annotarlo sull’etichetta presente all’interno del
coperchio batterie. In futuro potrebbe essere necessario reimpo-
stare il codice nel telecomando.
A) Cercare nella TABELLA GLOBALE CODICI MARCHE, posta
all’inizio del libretto, la MARCA del climatizzatore che si desidera
comandare e annotare i corrispondenti codici ad essa abbinati;
se la marca non dovesse essere presente riferirsi al capitolo RI-
CERCA GLOBALE AUTOMATICA.
B) ATTENZIONE! Nella tabella i gruppi di codici in sequenza,
vengono racchiusi tra parentesi [quadre]; pertanto i codici da
provare sono tutti quelli compresi nell’intervallo indicato (esem-
pio: [1296-1299] provare tutti i codici da 1296 fi no a 1299).
C) Posizionarsi davanti all’apparecchio da comandare e assicu-
rarsi che sia spento (STAND-BY).
D) Sul telecomando MELICONI premere e mantenere premuto
il tasto [SET] e, senza rilasciare, premere per un istante il tasto
ON/OFF
[ ]
; rilasciare i tasti. Il codice a 4 cifre sul display lam-
peggia.
E) Utilizzando i tasti TEMP [▲] e [▼] scorrere i codici sul display
fi no a posizionarsi sul primo dei codici della MARCA preceden-
temente individuati. (per velocizzare lo scorrimento è possibile
tenere pigiati i tasti TEMP).

G) Una volta individuato un codice idoneo, visibile sul display in
basso a destra, annotarlo sull’etichetta presente all’interno del
coperchio batterie. In futuro potrebbe essere necessario reimpo-
stare il codice nel telecomando.
É possibile impostare SOLO una delle funzioni TIMER, non en-
trambe.
Assicurarsi di operare con il climatizzatore acceso.
Predisporre sul telecomando le condizioni di funzionamento de-
siderate (temperatura, ventilazione ecc.)
● IMPOSTAZIONE ACCENSIONE RITARDATA
Premere per un istante il tasto [TIME ON] , il climatizzatore si
spegne e si imposta un ritardo di accensione di 1 ora.
Per ottenere un ritardo maggiore agire nuovamente sul tasto
[TIME ON] fi no a visualizzare sul display il ritardo desiderato.
Per annullare l’impostazione premere il tasto ON/OFF
[ ]
.
● IMPOSTAZIONE SPEGNIMENTO RITARDATO
Premendo il tasto [TIME OFF] una o più volte, impostare sul di-
splay il ritardo desiderato (in ore) per lo spegnimento automatico
del climatizzatore.
Per annullare l’impostazione premere il tasto ON/OFF
[ ]
.
Questa funzione consente di evitare che il codice di impostazione
del telecomando venga accidentalmente cambiato.
Per attivare la funzione operare nel seguente modo:
Premere e mantenere premuto il tasto [SET] e, senza rilasciare,
premere per un istante il tasto [
]; a questo punto sul display
appare l’icona
.
Per disattivare la protezione ripetere la procedura.
Il telecomando è dotato di un LED torcia attivabile premen-
do il tasto
.
FUNZIONE TIMER
ATTENZIONE!
Le funzioni TIMER ON e TIMER OFF sono disponibili
SOLO se il climatizzatore ne è predisposto
PROTEZIONE DEL CODICE

ATTENZIONE: Non disperdere le batterie nell’ambiente, non smontarle nè gettarle nel fuoco. Un uso
improprio può arrecare danni all’ambiente e alla salute. Il simbolo del bidoncino barrato, indica che
le batterie devono essere smaltite secondo le norme vigenti.
Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura indica che il prodotto alla fi ne della
propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifi uti. L’utente dovrà, pertanto,
conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fi ne vita agli idonei centri di raccolta differenziata dei rifi uti
elettrici ed elettronici, oppure riconsegnarla al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di una nuova
apparecchiatura di tipo equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno. L’ adeguata raccolta differenziata per
l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento
ambientale compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute
e favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.
Diversi malfunzionamementi sono causati dall’utilizzo
di batterie non suffi ciemente cariche.
Si raccomanda di vericarle e sostituirle come illustrato al
capitolo INSERIMENTO DELLE BATTERIE.
ATTENZIONE!
RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI
● SE IL TELECOMANDO È NUOVO E NON SI RIESCE A FARLO
FUNZIONARE
Verifi care di aver eseguito con precisione quanto indicato nel
manuale; nel caso ripetere con cura tutti i passaggi sopra de-
scritti.
● SE IL TELECOMANDO SMETTE DI FUNZIONARE
Rimuovere le batterie, premere alcuni tasti e inserire batterie NUOVE.
Impostare nuovamente il codice specifi co abbinato all’apparato
che si vuole comandare come descritto al capitolo ATTIVAZIO-
NE DEL TELECOMANDO.
Accertarsi inoltre che il telecomando sia puntato verso l’appa-
recchio senza che ci siano ostacoli in mezzo.
● SE IL TELECOMANDO NON RENDE DISPONIBILI ALCUNE
FUNZIONI
Riferirsi al capitolo DESCRIZIONE TASTI E FUNZIONI per ottene-
re la funzione desiderata.
Se non si riescono ad ottenere alcune PRINCIPALI funzioni, pro-
babilmente si sta utilizzando un codice impreciso; individuare e
impostare un codice più idoneo come precedentemente descritto.

NE! Per ottenere assistenza tecnica è INDISPENSABILE
comunicare la MARCA e MODELLO dell’apparecchio che si

utilizzando.

Télécommande MELICONI – AC100
Nous vous remercions d’avoir choisi une télécommande
Meliconi.
La télécommande AC100 permet de gérer les principales
fonctions d’un climatiseur domestique.
L’affi cheur de la télécommande est rétro-éclairé pour faciliter
l’utilisation dans l’obscurité.
ATTENTION la télécommande N’EST PAS à mémoire rémanente ;
lorsque les piles sont complètement déchargées ou enlevées, elle
perd la programmation de l’heure et du CODE d’activation.
Pour éviter ce problème, il est conseillé de changer les piles de
façon rapide (en 15 secondes) et sans appuyer sur une touche.
La télécommande nécessite 2 piles neuves de type AAA/
LR03 alcalines de 1,5 V, qui ne sont pas fournies dans le pack.
Insérez-les en respectant leur polarité, comme illustré ci-dessous.
NE PAS utiliser de piles rechargeables.
REMPLACEMENT DES PILES : les piles doivent être changées
dès l’apparition sur l’affi cheur LCD de symboles et caractères
peu visibles, ou dès que la portée de fonctionnement de la
télécommande se réduit.
IMPORTANT ! Afi n d’éviter de perdre les programmations de la
télécommande (heure et code), il est conseillé de changer les
piles de façon rapide (en 15 secondes) et sans appuyer sur une
touche.

Il existe une fonction horloge dont le réglage s’effectue comme
suit :
A) Sur la télécommande MELICONI, appuyez simultanément sur
les touches [SET] et [MODE ] ; l’indication des heures se met à
clignoter.
B) À l’aide des touches TEMP [▲] et [▼] réglez l’heure au format
AM / PM (pour accélérer le défi lement, tenez les touches
enfoncées).
C) Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche [SET] afi n de pouvoir régler
les minutes.
D) À l’aide des touches TEMP [▲] et [▼] réglez les minutes.
E) Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche [SET] pour confi rmer et
quitter le mode de réglage de l’horloge.
Avant d’utiliser la télécommande, il est indispensable de
programmer un code spécifi que associé à l’appareil à
commander.
Pour trouver ce code spécifi que et le programmer sur la
télécommande, utiliser l’un des modes suivants :
1) RECHERCHE DU CODE PAR MARQUE
2) PROGRAMMATION DIRECTE DU CODE
3) RECHERCHE GLOBALE AUTOMATIQUE
4) RECHERCHE GLOBALE MANUELLE
IMPORTANT !
Après avoir trouvé le bon code, visible sur l’affi cheur en bas à
droite, il est vivement conseillé de le noter sur l’étiquette qui se
trouve à l’intérieur du cache des piles ; au changement de piles
suivant, il pourra être nécessaire de reprogrammer le code dans
la télécommande.

sources de chaleur excessives de type rayons du soleil, feu ou
similaires. Ce produit n’est pas un jouet ; il ne doit pas être laissé
à la portée des enfants ou des animaux domestiques.

F) Appuyez brièvement sur la touche [SET].
G) En dirigeant la télécommande MELICONI vers l’appareil,
vérifi ez si le code sélectionné permet de commander l’appareil
en exécutant ses principales fonctions.
H) Si tel n’est pas le cas, répétez la procédure à partir du point C
en utilisant le code suivant indiqué dans le tableau.
I) Après avoir trouvé le bon code, visible sur l’affi cheur en bas à
droite, il est vivement conseillé de le noter sur l’étiquette qui se
trouve à l’intérieur du cache des piles ; au changement de piles
suivant, il pourra être nécessaire de programmer à nouveau le
code dans la télécommande.
Si aucun des codes indiqués pour la MARQUE ne peut
commander le climatiseur, consultez le chapitre RECHERCHE
GLOBALE AUTOMATIQUE.
A) Placez-vous devant l’appareil à commander et assurez-vous
qu’il est bien éteint (mode VEILLE).
B)
En dirigeant la télécommande vers l’appareil,
maintenez appuyée, tout le long de la recherche, la touche
[SET] après environ 8 secondes ; 4 tirets clignotent sur
l’affi cheur. Toujours SANS RELÂCHEZ la touche [SET],
observez le climatiseur, dès que ce dernier s’allume, relâchez
IMMÉDIATEMENT la touche
[SET]
pour stopper la recherche.
C) Vérifi ez si les autres touches correspondent bien aux fonctions
décrites ; si tel n’est pas le cas
, consultez le chapitre
RECHERCHE GLOBALE MANUELLE.
A)
Sur la télécommande MELICONI, appuyez simultanément sur
les touches [SET] et ON/OFF
[ ]
; puis relâchez-les. Le code
à 4 chiffres clignote sur l’affi cheur.
B) A l’aide des touches TEMP [▲] et [▼] faites défi ler les codes
sur l’affi cheur afi n de vous positionnez sur le dernier code (4999)
ensuite appuyez sur la touche [SET].
C) Placez-vous devant l’appareil à commander et assurez-vous
qu’il est bien éteint (mode VEILLE).
D)
Sur la télécommande MELICONI, appuyez simultanément sur
les touches [SET] et ON/OFF
[ ]
; puis relâchez-les. Le code
à 4 chiffres clignote sur l’affi cheur.
E) En dirigeant la télécommande vers l’appareil, appuyez d’une
manière lente et répétitive sur la touche TEMP [▲] afi n de faire
défi ler les codes un par un jusqu’à ce que le climatiseur s’allume :
appuyez alors sur la touche [SET] pour stopper la recherche.
F) Vérifi ez si les autres touches correspondent bien aux fonctions
décrites ; si tel n’est pas le cas
,
répétez la procédure à partir du
point C pour continuer la recherche.
A) En s’aidant du tableau précédent, recherchez la marque du
climatiseur à commander et notez la touche correspondante. Si
la marque ne fi gure pas dans le tableau, consultez le chapitre
PROGRAMMATION DIRECTE DU CODE.
B) Positionnez-vous devant le climatiseur et assurez-vous qu’il
est bien éteint (mode VEILLE).
C) En dirigeant la télécommande MELICONI vers l’appareil
MAINTENEZ APPUYÉE la touche précédemment trouvée, associée
à la marque de l’appareil. (Ex. marque HISENSE = touche MODE)
D)
ATTENTION : observez le climatiseur, dès que ce dernier
s’allume, relâchez IMMÉDIATEMENT la touche pour stopper la
recherche.
E) Vérifi ez si les autres touches correspondent bien aux fonctions
décrites ; si tel n’est pas le cas, répétez la procédure à partir du point B.
F) Après avoir trouvé le bon code, visible sur l’affi cheur en bas à
droite, il est vivement conseillé de le noter sur l’étiquette qui se
trouve à l’intérieur du cache des piles ; au changement de piles
suivant, il pourra être nécessaire de programmer à nouveau le
code dans la télécommande.
A) Recherchez dans le TABLEAU GÉNÉRAL DES CODES
MARQUES, au début de ce mode d’emploi, la MARQUE du climatiseur
à commander et notez les codes qui lui sont associés ; si la marque
ne fi gure pas dans le tableau, consultez le chapitre RECHERCHE
GLOBALE AUTOMATIQUE.
B) ATTENTION ! Dans le tableau, les groupes de codes
en séquence sont entre [crochets] ; les codes à essayer
sont donc tous ceux qui se trouvent dans cet intervalle
(exemple : [1296-1299] essayez les codes, 1296-1297-1298
et 1299).
C) Placez-vous devant l’appareil à commander et assurez-vous
qu’il est bien éteint (mode VEILLE).
D)
Sur la télécommande MELICONI, appuyez simultanément sur
les touches [SET] et ON/OFF
[ ]
; puis relâchez-les. Le code
à 4 chiffres clignote sur l’affi cheur.
E) A l’aide des touches TEMP [▲] et [▼] faites défi ler les codes
sur l’affi cheur afi n de vous positionnez sur le premier des codes
de la MARQUE précédemment trouvés. (Pour accélérer le
défi lement, maintenez appuyée une des touches TEMP).

• 3 Recherche globale automatique
• 4 Recherche globale manuelle
ASTUCE
Lorsque le climatiseur s’allume, si vous n’avez pas été assez rapide
stopper la recherche, la télécommande peut passer aux codes

trouve à l’intérieur du cache des piles ; au changement de piles
suivant, il pourra être nécessaire de programmer à nouveau le

UNE SEULE fonction TIMER peut être programmée, pas les
deux ensemble.
Assurez-vous de procéder avec le climatiseur allumé.
Programmez sur la télécommande les conditions de
fonctionnement souhaitées (température, ventilation, etc.).
● PROGRAMMATION DE MISE EN MARCHE DIFFÉRÉE
Appuyez brièvement sur la touche [TIME ON], le climatiseur s’éteint,
sur l’affi cheur de la télécommande est indiqué 1 heure, c’est le temps
qui va s’écouler jusqu’à la mise en marche du climatiseur.
Pour augmenter ce temps, appuyez à nouveau la touche [TIME ON]
jusqu’à ce que l’affi cheur indique le temps souhaité.
Pour annuler la programmation, appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF
[ ]

● PROGRAMMATION D’ARRÊT DIFFÉRÉ
Appuyez sur la touche [TIME OFF] une ou plusieurs fois,
l’affi cheur indique le nombre d’heures qui va s’écouler jusqu’à
l’arrêt automatique du climatiseur.
Pour annuler la programmation, appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF

Cette fonction permet d’éviter que le code de programmation de

ATTENTION : Ne pas jeter les piles dans la nature, ne pas les démonter ni les brûler. Un usage
incorrect peut causer des dégâts à la nature et à la santé. Le symbole du conteneur barré indique
que les pilles doivent être éliminées conformément aux normes en vigueur.
Le symbole du conteneur barré fi gurant sur l’appareil indique que le produit en fi n de vie doit
être collecté séparément des autres déchets. L’utilisateur devra donc remettre l’appareil hors
service à un centre de traitement sélectif des déchets électriques et électroniques ou le remettre
au revendeur lors de l’achat d’un nouvel appareil du même type, et dans les mêmes quantités.
Le tri sélectif approprié permettant par la suite d’envoyer l’appareil hors service au recyclage,
au traitement et à l’élimination compatible avec l’environnement, permet d’éviter les éventuels
effets néfastes sur l’environnement et sur la santé, et favorise la récupération des matériaux qui
le composent.
Certains dysfonctionnements sont dus à l’utilisation de
piles non suffi samment chargées.
Il est recommandé de les vérifi er et de les remplacer en suivant
les indications du chapitre MISE EN PLACE DES PILES.

Vérifi ez que les indications de la notice ont été suivies à la lettre ; le

● SI LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE CESSE DE FONCTIONNER
Retirez les piles, appuyez sur quelques touches et insérez des
piles NEUVES.
Reprogrammez le code associé à l’appareil à commander de la
façon décrite au chapitre ACTIVATION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE.
Assurez-vous également que la télécommande est bien dirigée
vers l’appareil sans obstacle entre les deux.

MELICONI remote control – AC100
Thank you for choosing a Meliconi remote control.
The AC100 remote control is designed to command all the main
functions of a domestic air conditioner.
The remote control display is fi tted with a back light to make it
easier to use in the dark.
WARNING the remote control does NOT have a permanent
memory, so if the batteries run completely fl at or are removed,
the time setting and activation CODE will be lost.
To avoid this inconvenience, change the batteries rapidly (within
15 seconds) and without pressing any keys.
The remote control requires 2 new 1.5V alkaline AAA/LR03 bat-
teries, not included. Insert them as illustrated.
Do NOT use rechargeable batteries.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES: The batteries should be changed
when the symbols and characters on the LCD display begin to
lose clarity or when the operating capacity of the remote is re-
duced.
IMPORTANT! To avoid losing the remote control settings (time
and code), change the batteries rapidly (within 15 seconds) and
without pressing any keys.

The remote control also features a clock. To adjust it, proceed
as follows:
A) Press and hold down the [SET] key on the MELICONI remote
control and, without letting it go, press the [MODE] key for an
instant. At this point the hours display will start to fl ash.
B) Using the TEMP [▲] and [▼] keys set the AM / PM hour format
(to speed up scrolling keep the keys held down).
C) Press the [SET] key again to access the minutes setting.
D) Now use the TEMP [▲] and [▼] keys to set the minutes.
E) Press the [SET] key again to confi rm and exit the clock adjust-
ment procedure.
Before using the remote control it is essential to set a specifi c
code for the air conditioner you wish to control.
Use one of the following methods, in the order given below, to
identify the specifi c code and set it on the remote control:
1) BRAND CODE SEARCH
2) DIRECT CODE SETTING
3) AUTOMATIC GLOBAL SEARCH
4) MANUAL GLOBAL SEARCH
IMPORTANT!
Having identifi ed the correct code, shown on the display at bot-
tom right, note it down on the label inside the battery cover; as
the next time you change the batteries you may need to reset the
remote control code.

When the air conditioner comes on, if you have not ac-
ted quickly enough to stop the search, the remote control
may have passed onto the following codes and so it will
no longer be able to control the device.
To move backwards through the codes, hold down the
[SET] key and press for an instant the
ON/OFF

key;
then release the keys. Use the TEMP [
▼
] key to select
the previous code and then press [SET]. Check the re-
mote control works.
F) Press the [SET] key for an instant.
G) Point the MELICONI remote control at the air conditioner and
check whether the code in use does control the main functions
on the device.
H) If it does not, repeat the procedure from point C using the next
code indicated in the table.
I) Once you have identifi ed a suitable code, shown on the display
at bottom right, note it down on the label inside the battery cov-
er. In the future it may be necessary to reset the remote control
code.
If none of the codes indicated for the BRAND control the air con-
ditioner, refer to the section AUTOMATIC GLOBAL SEARCH.
A)
Stand in front of the device you wish to control and make
sure it is OFF (STAND-BY).
B)
Point the remote control at the air conditioner and press
and hold down the [SET] key for about 8 seconds; 4 hy-
phens will fl ash on the display. Keeping the [SET] key held
down, MAKE SURE you release the [SET] key and stop the
search as soon as the air conditioner comes on.
C)
Check whether the other keys also activate the corre-
sponding functions. If they do not, refer to the MANUAL
GLOBAL SEARCH section.
A) Press and hold down the [SET] key on the MELICONI remote
control and, without letting it go, press for an instant the ON/OFF
[ ]
key; then release the keys. The 4 fi gure code on the display
fl ashes.
B) Using the TEMP [▲] and [▼] keys scroll through the codes
on the display until you reach the last code (4999) and press the
[SET] key.
C) Stand in front of the device you wish to control and make sure
it is OFF (STAND-BY).
D)
Press and hold down the [SET] key on the MELICONI remote
control and, without letting it go, press for an instant the ON/OFF
[ ]
key; then release the keys. The 4 fi gure code on the display
fl ashes.
E) Point the remote control at the air conditioner and press the
TEMP [▲] key slowly to scroll the codes one at a time until the
air conditioner comes on; at which point press the [SET] key to
stop the search.
F) Check whether the other keys also activate the corresponding
functions. If they do not, repeat the procedure from point C) to
continue the search.
A) Find the brand of air conditioner you wish to command in the
table above and note down the corresponding key. If the brand
is not in the table, refer to the section DIRECT CODE SETTING.
B) Stand in front of the air conditioner and check it is off (STAND-
BY).
C) Point the MELICONI remote control at the air conditioner and
PRESS and HOLD DOWN the key corresponding to the brand
identifi ed previously. (e.g. HISENSE brand = MODE key)
D)
TAKE CARE to release the key and stop the search AS SOON
AS the air conditioner comes on.
E) Check whether the other keys also activate the corresponding
functions. If they do not, repeat the procedure from point B.
F) Once you have identifi ed a suitable code, shown on the display
at bottom right, note it down on the label inside the battery cov-
er. In the future it may be necessary to reset the remote control
code.
A) Look in the GLOBAL BRAND CODES TABLE located inside
the booklet for the BRAND of air conditioner you wish to com-
mand and note down the corresponding codes linked to it. If the
brand is not in the table, refer to the section AUTOMATIC GLOB-
AL SEARCH.
B) WARNING! In the table the codes in sequence groups are
written between brackets [squared]; so the codes to be tested
are all of those in the interval indicated (e.g.: [1296-1299] test
all codes from 1296 to 1299 inclusive).
C) Stand in front of the device you wish to control and make sure
it is OFF (STAND-BY).
D)
Press and hold down the [SET] key on the MELICONI remote
control and, without letting it go, press for an instant the ON/OFF
[ ]
key; then release the keys. The 4 fi gure code on the display
fl ashes.
E) Using the TEMP [▲] and [▼] keys scroll through the codes on
the display until you reach the fi rst of the BRAND codes identi-
fi ed previously. (to speed up scrolling keep the TEMP keys held
down).

G) Once you have identifi ed a suitable code, shown on the dis-
play at bottom right, note it down on the label inside the battery
cover. In the future it may be necessary to reset the remote con-
trol code.
ONLY one of the TIMER functions can be set, not both of them.
Make sure the air conditioner is ON.
Set up the required operating conditions on the remote (temper-
ature, fan etc.)
● DELAYED SWITCH ON SETTING
Press the [TIME ON] key for an instant, the air conditioner will be
switched off and a switch on delay of 1 hour will be set.
To set a longer delay press the [TIME ON] key again until the
required delay is shown on the display.
To delete the setting, press the ON/OFF
[ ]
key.
● DELAYED SWITCH OFF SETTING
Press the [TIME OFF] key one or several times, set on the dis-
play the required delay (in hours) for the automatic air condition-
er switch off.
To delete the setting, press the ON/OFF
[ ]
key.
This function stops the remote control setting code from being
accidentally changed.
To activate the function, proceed as follows:
Press and hold down the [SET] key, and without releasing it,
press the [ ] key for an instant; at which point the icon is shown
on the display
.
To deactivate the protection repeat the procedure.
The remote control includes an LED torch that can be acti-
vated by pressing the key
.

CAUTION: Do not dispose of batteries in the environment, take them apart or throw them in a fi re.
Incorrect use may harm the environment and give rise to health and safety hazards. The crossed-
out wheelie bin symbol indicates that the batteries must be disposed of in compliance with current
legislation.
The symbol showing a wheelie bin with a cross through it which appears on the device indicates that
at the end of its useful life the product must be collected separately from other waste. Therefore, at
the end of the device’s life, you must take it to appropriate centres for the differentiated collection
of electrical and electronic waste, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a new device of
equivalent type, on a one-for-one basis. Suitable differentiated collection to allow subsequent
recycling of the decommissioned device, with environmentally-compatible treatment and disposal,
help to prevent any negative effects on the environment and health and to promote the recycling of
the materials of which the device is made.
Various malfunctions are caused by using batteries that
are not suffi ciently charged.
We recommend checking them and, if necessary, replacing
them as shown in the INSERTING THE BATTERIES section.

● IF THE REMOTE CONTROL IS NEW AND YOU CANNOT
MAKE IT WORK
Check you have carried out all the instructions indicated in the
manual precisely. If necessary repeat all the steps described
above.
● IF THE REMOVE CONTROL STOPS WORKING
Remove the batteries, press several keys and insert NEW batter-
ies.
Set the specifi c code again for the device you wish to command,
as described in the section REMOTE CONTROL ACTIVATION.
Make sure too that the remote control is pointing at the device
and that there are no obstacles in the way.
● IF THE REMOTE CONTROL DOES NOT EXECUTE CERTAIN
FUNCTIONS
To obtain the required function, refer to the DESCRIPTION OF
KEYS AND FUNCTIONS section.
If some of the MAIN functions are not available, you are probably
using an incorrect code. Find and set a more suitable code as de-
scribed earlier.
