supplies at the rear of the device.

• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the

device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the device.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

without supervision.

• Children aged from 3 to 8 years are allowed to load and unload

cooling devices.

Explosion hazard

• Do not store any explosive substances such as spray cans with

a flammable propellant in the coolbox.

Health hazard

• Opening the cooling device for long periods can cause signifi-

cant increase of the temperature in the compartments of the

device.

• Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and

accessible drainage systems.

• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the device, so

that it is not in contact with or can drip onto other food.

• If the device is left empty for long periods:

– Switch off the device.

– Defrost the device.

– Clean and dry the device.

– Leave the lid open to prevent mould developing within the

device.

NOTICE! Damage hazard

• The coolbox should be switched off before the cab is tilted. After

the cab is lowered again, the coolbox should stand for at least 15

minutes before being switched back on again.

• Important! Make sure that the ventilation openings of the coolbox

are not blocked.

• Never place hot food or drinks in the coolbox.

1Before use

The coolbox should be in its correct position before it is switched on. Thor-

oughly clean the inside of the coolbox using a soft cloth and ordinary wash-

ing-up liquid. Do not use any strong or abrasive cleaners. The coolbox should

be wiped dry after cleaning.

2 General

The refrigerated coolbox is an genuine Mobicool accessory and is intended

for refrigerating food. This device is intended to be permanently fixed and

used in vehicles.

The coolbox is powered by the vehicle’s 24 V electrical system. lt is equipped

with both under and overvoltage protection. If the voltage drops below a pre-

set value, the coolbox will be shut off to avoid draining the vehicle’s batteries.

When voltage increases after the batteries have been charged, the coolbox

restarts automatically.

Operation is controlled by a control unit located in the coolbox.

The refrigerant in the closed compressor cooling system is R134a.

3 Cooling

The coolbox is started by turning the thermostat control knob

from “0”. Use the control knob to set the desired temperature.

The temperature is then controlled automatically by the cool-

box thermostat.

4Freezing

If the control is turned to the freeze setting, temperature can be

lowered to about –10 °C (depending on the ambient tempera-

ture). The freeze setting should not be used continuously for a

longer period.

5Switching off

The coolbox is switched off by turning the control knob to “0”.

6Cleaning

Clean the box regularly. Switch it off by turning the control knob to “0”. Wipe

the in- and outside using a mild, unscented detergent. Do not use strong, or

abrasive cleaners, scouring powders, wire wool or solvents as these may

damage it. Wipe the box dry after cleaning.

7Defrosting

Ice on the evaporator of the coolbox will impair its function. Remove the ice by

defrosting. Switch off the box, remove all foodstuffs and allow the ice to melt.

Do not use any tools which could damage the surfaces. Clean as above.

8 When the coolbox is switched off

If the coolbox is not to be used for a period of time, it should be defrosted and

thoroughly cleaned inside. To avoid bad odours, take care not to fully close

the lid to allow air to circulate inside to box.

9 Maintenance

Rub the lid seals with talc once every year.

10 Inner light

To change the bulb, unscrew the lamp housing

inside the coolbox. Change the lamp

(24 V – 5 W). Do not use a bulb with higher

wattage!

Make sure that the seal is correctly located

when the lamp housing is fitted back in place.

11 Fuse

The refrigerated coolbox is protected by a 10 A

fuse located in the vehicle’s central electric unit

(fuse no. 35). When changing, only use a fuse of

equal value.

• Wenn das Gerät für längere Zeit leer steht:

– Schalten Sie das Gerät aus.

– Tauen Sie das Gerät ab.

– Reinigen und trocknen Sie das Gerät.

– Lassen Sie den Deckel offen, um Schimmelbildung im Gerät

zu verhindern.

ACHTUNG! Beschädigungsgefahr

• Bevor das Fahrerhaus gekippt wird, muss die Kühlbox abge-

schaltet werden. Wenn das Fahrerhaus wieder abgesenkt wor-

den ist, muss die Kühlbox mindestens 15 Minuten stehen, bevor

sie wieder eingeschaltet werden darf.

• Wichtig! Darauf achten, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen der Kühlbox

frei bleiben.

• Kein warmes Essen oder warme Getränke in die Kühlbox stellen.

1 Vor der lnbetriebnahme

Die Kühlbox muss vor der Inbetriebnahme waagerecht stehen. Die Kühlbox

innen sorgfältig mit einem Lappen und herkömmlichem Spülmittel reinigen.

Keine agressiven oder kratzenden Mittel dürfen verwendet werden. Nach dem

Reinigen muss die Kühlbox sorgfältig abgetrocknet werden.

2Allgemeines

Die Kühlbox ist ein Mobicool-Originalzubehör und ist zur Kühlung von Lebens-

mitteln vorgesehen. Das Gerät ist zur dauerhaften Befestigung und Verwen-

dung in Fahrzeugen vorgesehen.

Die Kühlbox wird von der 24 V-Elektroanlage des Fahrzeugs gespeist. Sie ist

sowohl mit einem Überspannungs- als auch mit einem Unterspannungsschutz

versehen. Wenn die Spannung unter einen Minimalwert sinkt, wird die Kühlbox

abgeschaltet, um nicht die Fahrzeugbatterien zu entladen. Wenn die Span-

nung nach dem Laden der Batterien wieder ansteigt, schaltet die Kühlbox

automatisch ein.

Der Betrieb wird von einem Steuergerät in der Kühlbox geregelt.

Als Kältemittel im geschlossenen Kompressor-Kühlsystem wird das Kältemit-

tel R134a verwendet.

3 Kühlfunktion

Die Kühlbox wird durch Drehen des Thermostatknopfes aus der

„0“-Stellung eingeschaltet. Mit dem Thermostatknopf die

gewünschte Temperatur einstellen. Die eingestellte Kühltempe-

ratur wird dann vom Thermostaten der Kühlbox geregelt.

4 Tiefkühlfunktion

Wenn der Thermostatknopf in die Tiefkühlstellung gedreht wird,

wird die Temperatur auf ca. –10 °C gesenkt (abhängig von der

Raumtemperatur).

5 Abschalten

Wenn der Thermostatknopf auf „0“ gedreht wird, wird die Kühl-

box abgeschaltet.

6 Reinigung

Die Kühlbox regelmäßig reinigen. Box durch Drehen des Thermostatknopfes

auf „0“ ausschalten. Die Box innen und außen mit einem milden, unparfümier-

ten Spülmittel abwischen. Keine starken oder kratzenden Reinigungsmittel,

Scheuerpulver, Stahlwatte oder Lösungsmittel verwenden, welche die Kühl-

box beschädigen können. Nach dem Reinigen muß die Box abgetrocknet wer-

den.

7 Abtauen

Wenn sich am Verdampfer der Kühlbox eine sichtbare Eisschicht gebildet hat,

verschlechtert dies das Kühlvermögen der Kühlbox. Die Kühlbox abschalten,

eventuell enthaltene Lebensmittel herausnehmen und das Eis abtauen las-

sen. Kein Werkzeug verwenden, das die Oberfläche zerkratzen kann. Wie

oben beschrieben reinigen.

8 Bei abgeschalteter Kühlbox

Wenn die Kühlbox längere Zeit nicht verwendet werden soll, muss sie abge-

taut und innen sorgfältig gereinigt werden. Um unangenehme Gerüche zu ver-

meiden, den Deckel eine Spalt weit geöffnet lassen, damit die Luft in der

Kühlbox zirkulieren kann.

9 Wartung

Die Dichtungen am Deckel einmal pro Jahr mit Talkum einreiben.

10 Innenbeleuchtung

Zum Austauschen der Glühlampe Lampenge-

häuse an der Kühlbox abschrauben.

Glühlampe (24 V – 5 W ) auswechseln. Es darf

keine Lampe mit höherer Leistung verwendet

werden.

Darauf achten, dass die Dichtung richtig positi-

oniert ist, wenn das Lampengehäuse montiert

wird.

11 Sicherungen

Die Kühlbox ist durch eine 10 A-Sicherung in der

Elektrozentrale des Fahrzeugs abgesichert

(Sicherung Nr. 35). Bei Austausch nur durch

eine Sicherung von gleichem Wert ersetzen.

• Si l’appareil reste vide pendant une longue période :

– Éteignez l’appareil.

– Dégivrez l’appareil.

– Nettoyez et séchez l’appareil.

– Laissez la porte ouverte pour éviter la formation de moisis-

sures à l’intérieur de l’appareil.

AVIS ! Risque d'endommagement

• Arrêter le réfrigérateur avant de basculer la cabine. Lorsque

celle-ci est rabaissée, attendre environ 15 minutes avant de

remettre le réfrigérateur en marche.

• Important! S’assurer que les orifices de ventilation du réfrigéra-

teur sont dégagées.

• Ne jamais déposer de boissons et d’aliments chauds dans le

réfrigérateur.

1 Avant l’utilisation

Le réfrigérateur doit être placé debout avant la mise en marche. Nettoyer soi-

gneusement l’intérieur avec un chiffon doux et un produit de vaisselle ordi-

naire. Ne pas utiliser de détergent ni de produit récurant. Essuyer après le

nettoyage.

2 Généralités

Le réfrigérateur est un accessoire d’origine Mobicool destiné à maintenir les

aliments au frais. Cet appareil est conçu pour à montage fixe et utilisée à véhi-

cule.

Le réfrigérateur fonctionne sur le système électrique 24 V du véhicule. Il est

équipé d'une protection de surtension et de sous-tension. Si la tension baisse

au-dessous d'une valeur préréglée, le réfrigérateur cesse de fonctionner afin

d'éviter la décharge des batteries du véhicule. Lorsque la tension augmente

après la recharge des batteries, le réfrigérateur se remet automatiquement en

marche.

Le fonctionnement est réglé par un boîtier de commande implanté dans le

réfrigérateur.

Le réfrigérant R134a utilisé dans le circuit fermé à compresseur.

3 Refroidissement

La mise en marche du réfrigérateur s’effectue en tournant le

bouton à partir de la position « 0 ». Régler la température dési-

rée avec le bouton, elle est ensuite automatiquement régulée

par le thermostat.

4 Congélation

Si le bouton est amené sur la position de congélation, la tempé-

rature peut descendre jusqu'à environ –10 °C (dépendant de la

température ambiante). Ne pas utiliser cette position durant une

période prolongée.

5 Arrêt

Le fonctionnement du réfrigérateur est arrêté en tournant le

bouton du thermostat en position « 0 ».

6Nettoyage

Nettoyer régulièrement le réfrigérateur. L’arrêter en réglant le thermostat sur

« 0 ». Essuyer l'intérieur et l'extérieur avec un produit de vaisselle doux et non-

parfumé. Ne jamais utiliser de détergents puissants, ni de récurant ou de paille

métallique ou autres solutions pouvant endommager l’appareil. Bien essuyer

après le nettoyage.

7Dégivrage

Lorsqu'une couche de givre s'est formée sur les parois du compartiment, la

capacité de refroidissement est affectée. Il faut procéder alors à un dégivrage.

Arrêter le réfrigérateur, sortir les denrées et laisser fondre le givre. Ne pas uti-

liser d’outils risquant de rayer la surface. Nettoyer selon les instructions ci-

dessus.

8 Mise hors service

Si le réfrigérateur ne doit pas être utilisé durant un certain temps, il faut le

dégivrer et nettoyer soigneusement l’intérieur. Pour éviter la formation de

mauvaises odeurs, laisser le couvercle entrouvert afin d'aérer l'appareil.

9Entretien

Une fois par an, enduire les joints d'étanchéité contre le couvercle avec du

talc.

10 Eclairage

Pour remplacer l’ampoule, dévisser la douille

de l’ampoule à l’intérieur du réfrigérateur. Rem-

placer l'ampoule (24 V – 5 W ). Ne pas utiliser

une ampoule d’une puissance supérieur.

Avant de replacer la douille, vérifier que le joint

est bien placé.

11 Fusible

Le réfrigérateur est protégé par un fusible de

10 A situé dans la centrale électrique du véhi-

cule (fusible no. 35). Ne remplacer que par un

fusible de même valeur.
