Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 30m USB 2.0 Active Extension. This product has been designed to provide
trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical
support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
This USB 2.0 Active Extension allows a USB device to be connected 30m away from your computer. It
can also bridge distances of more than 60m in combination with the LINDY Active Extension System
Pro.

Installation & Operation
Connect the 30m USB 2.0 Active Extension to a free USB port on your computer. Your computer will
recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers automatically. Now connect your USB
device to the USB A socket of the 30m USB 2.0 Active Extension. For USB devices with high power
demands such as a Hard Drive or a USB Hub it may be necessary to connect a power supply.
In combination with the LINDY Active Extension System Pro (Nr. 42780, 42782, 42783) it is possible to
bridge distances of more than 60m.
It is necessary to follow the sequence below for installation:
Computer 42780 (8m) 42923 (30m) 42782 (12m) 42783 (12m with hub)

Installation & Operation
Schließen Sie die USB 2.0 Aktiv-Verlängerung 30m an einen freien USB Port Ihres Computers an. Ihr
Computer wird die neue Hardware automatisch erkennen und die erforderlichen Treiber installieren.
Dann schließen Sie Ihr USB Device an der USB A Buchse der 30m Aktiv-Verlängerung an. USB Geräte
mit großem Strombedarf wie Festplatten oder USB Hubs benötigen eventuell ein Netzteil.
In Kombination mit dem LINDY Active Extension System Pro (Nr. 42780, 42782, 42783) ist es möglich,
Entfernungen über 60m zu überbrücken.
Dabei ist folgende Reihenfolge bei der Installation der einzelnen Segmente unbedingt einzuhalten:

Installation & Utilisation
Connectez la Rallonge Active USB 2.0 30m à un port USB disponible sur votre ordinateur. Votre
ordinateur va reconnaitre le nouveau matériel et installer automatiquement tout pilote requis. Connectez
à présent votre périphérique USB à la prise USB A femelle de la Rallonge Active USB 2.0 30m. Pour les
périphériques USB qui nécessitent plus de courant, tel que les disques durs ou hub USB, il peut être
nécessaire de connecter une alimentation (non fournie).
En combinaison avec le système Rallonge Active Pro LINDY (N°Art. 42780, 42782, 42783) il est
possible d’atteindre les distances de plus de 60m.
Dans ce cas, il est nécessaire de suivre l’ordre indiqué ci-dessous pour l’installation:

Installazione e Utilizzo
Collegate la prolunga attiva ad una porta USB del computer. Il computer riconoscerà il nuovo hardware
ed installerà automaticamente i driver necessari. Quindi collegate la periferica USB alla porta USB A
della prolunga attiva. Con periferiche USB ad alto consumo come Hard Disk esterni o hub USB, può
essere necessario l’utilizzo di un alimentatore.
In combinazione con le prolunghe attive LINDY della serie Pro (Art. 42780, 42782, 42783), è possibile
raggiungere distanze superiori a 60m.
In questo caso occorre seguire la seguente sequenza:

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Germany / Deutschland Rücknahme Elektroschrott und Batterie-Entsorgung
Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von
