Notes on using DVI equipped devices:
To connect DVI equipped devices you can use either modular DVI/HDMI adapters or DVI/HDMI adapter
cables. Be aware that DVI is a ‘video only’ interface; audio signals are not supported when using DVI source
devices. Also, please note that DVI equipped displays must support HDCP signal decoding to display HDCP
protected HDMI signals. HDCP compatible displays will normally feature the HD Ready logo.
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY 2 Port Bi-Directional 4K HDMI Switch. This device can be used to
switch between two sources to show one display or can be used to display a signal on one of two
screens. The switch can support up to 4K and 3D 1080p resolutions.

Installation
Connect the cables from your source devices and your displays before powering on any devices.
Power on your source device first, then power on your displays. Use the switch to select your desired

Hinweis für Geräte mit DVI Anschluss:
Geräte mit DVI-Anschluss können bei Verwendung von DVI-HDMI-Adaptern bzw.- -Adapterkabeln verwendet
werden. Als Zielgerät (TV, Beamer, …) müssen Sie HDCP unterstützen falls die HDMI-Signalquelle ein
kopiergeschütztes Signal liefert.
Einführung
Mit diesem bidirektionalen 2:1 und 1:2 HDMI Switch haben Sie einen universell einsetzbaren HDMI
Umschalter erworben. Er kann sowohl zwischen zwei Signalquellen umschalten als auch zwischen einer
Signalquelle und zwei Zielgeräten, z.B. TV-Gerät und Beamer – siehe Grafik unten.
Er unterstützt Full HD 1080p mit 3D sowie 4K UHD mit bis zu 30Hz.

Installation
Schließen Sie einfach nur die HDMI Kabel zwischen Ihren Geräten an beginnend an den HDMI
Signalquellen. Falls es Probleme gibt schalten Sie alle Geräte aus und schalten Sie sie von der
Signalquelle kommend nacheinander ein. Drücken Sie den Schalter am Switch zum Umschalten der

Notes sur l’utilisation d’équipements DVI:
Pour raccorder des appareils équipés en DVI, vous pouvez utiliser au choix soit des adaptateurs modulaires
DVI/HDMI ou des câbles adaptateurs DVI/HDMI. Soyez conscient qu’en DVI l’interface ne gère que les signaux
vidéo; les signaux audio ne sont pas pris en charge en utilisant une source DVI. Veuillez également noter, que
les affichages DVI doivent prendre en charge le décodage HDCP pour afficher les signaux HDMI encodés en
HDCP. Les affichages compatibles HDCP doivent normalement être identifiés par le logo HD Ready.

Nota per l'uso di dispositivi DVI:
Per il collegamento di dispositivi DVI è possibile utilizzare adattatori o cavi adattatori DVI/HDMI. Bisogna essere
consapevoli che l'interfaccia DVI trasporta solo il segnale video; i segnali audio non sono supportati. Si ricorda
inoltre, che i monitor DVI devono supportare la decodifica del segnale HDCP per poter visualizzare segnali
HDMI protetti. Normalmente su i monitor, compatibili con le specifiche HDCP, è presente il logo HD Ready.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.

Die Europäische Union hat mit der WEEE Direktive Regelungen für die Verschrottung und das Recycling von
Elektro- und Elektronikprodukten geschaffen. Diese wurden im Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz – ElektroG in
deutsches Recht umgesetzt. Dieses Gesetz verbietet das Entsorgen von entsprechenden, auch alten, Elektro- und
