IMPORTANTES PRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI

• N’utiliser le thermomètre que pour la

mesure des températures du corps animal.

•

Toujours respecter la durée de mesure minimale

en attendant que le signal sonore se déclenche.

•

Ne laissez jamais les enfants utiliser l’appareil

sans surveillance. Certaines de ses parties sont

si petites qu’elles peuvent être avalées.

• Ne mettez pas l’appareil en service dans un

champ électromagnétique de grande intensité,

par exemple à proximité de téléphones portables

ou d’installations radio. Garder une distance

minimale de 3,3 mètres de ces appareils lors de

toute utilisation.

• Veiller à ne pas faire tomber le thermomètre et à

ne pas le cogner.

• Ne pas exposer le thermomètre à des tempéra-

tures ambiantes supérieures à 60 °C. Ne jamais

le mettre à bouillir!

• Pour procéder au nettoyage, n’utiliser que les

désinfectants répertoriés dans le paragraphe

«Nettoyage et désinfection». L’instrument doit

être en bon état (absence de fissures) lorsqu’il

est plongé dans un liquide désinfectant.

• Le fabricant recommande de faire contrôler la

précision du thermomètre par un laboratoire

agréé tous les 2 ans.

ATTENTION: La mesure délivrée par

ce thermomètre ne constitue pas un

diagnostic! Ne pas se fier uniquement au

résultat de la mesure.

Les piles et instruments électroniques

doivent être éliminés en conformité avec

les prescriptions locales, séparément des

ordures ménagères.

MISE EN MARCHE DU THERMOMETRE

Pour mettre le thermomètre en marche, appuyer

sur l’interrupteur marche/arrêt. Un bref signal

sonore (bip) indique que le «thermomètre est en

marche». Un test d’affichage est alors réalisé.

Tous les symboles apparaissent à l’écran. Pour

une température ambiante inférieure à 32 °C,

«- - -» s’affiche et un «°C» se met à clignoter dans

le coin supé rieur droit de l’écran. Le thermomètre

est alors prêt à l’emploi.

TEST DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Le fonctionnement du thermomètre est testé

automatiquement à chaque mise en marche. En

cas d’anomalie de fonctionnement (imprécision de

mesure), le message «ERR» s’affiche à l’écran et la

prise de mesure devient impossible. Dans ce cas, il

convient de remplacer le thermomètre.

UTILISATION DU THERMOMETRE

Pendant la mesure, la température en cours est

affichée en permanence. Le symbole «

°C

» cligno te

pendant ce temps. Si le signal sonore (10 bips

consécutifs) se déclenche et si le symbole «

°C

» ne

clignote plus, cela indique que l’augmentation de la

température est désormais inférieure à

0.1 °C en 8 secondes, la mesure peut alors être

lue sur l’écran. Pour prolonger la durée de vie de

la pile, arrêter le thermomètre après utilisation en

appu yant brièvement sur l’interrupteur marche/

arrêt. Certes, le thermo mètre s’arrête aussi automa-

tiquement, mais après environ 10 minutes.

ENREGISTREMENT DE LA DERNIERE MESURE

Pour obtenir le rappel de la dernière température

mesurée, maintenir la pression sur l’interrupteur

pendant plus de 3 secondes lors de la mise en

marche. Simultanément, le petit symbole «M» de

mémoire s’affiche à droite de l’écran. Cette valeur

ne s’affiche que pendant 3 secondes avant de dis-

NETTOYAGE ET DESINFECTION

Le thermomètre est entièrement étanche. Il peut

être plongé dans de l’eau ou dans une solution

désinfectante pour être nettoyé sans problème.

L’essuyer avec une serviette légèrement humi-

difiée. Utiliser le produit suivant pour procéder

à la désinfection, en respectant les consignes

du fabricant:

INBETRIEBNAHME DES THERMOMETERS

Zum Einschalten drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste;

ein kurzer Signalton signalisiert «Ther mometer

AN». Ein Display-Test wird durchgeführt.

Alle Segmente sollten angezeigt werden.

Anschliessend erscheint bei einer Umgebungs-

temperatur von weniger als 32 °C «- - -» sowie

ein blinkendes «°C» rechts oben in der Anzeige.

Das Thermometer ist jetzt bereit zur Messung.

FUNKTIONS-TEST

Die ordnungsgemässe Funktion des Thermome-

ters wird jedesmal beim Einschalten automatisch

überprüft. Wird dabei eine Fehlfunktion (Mess-

ungenauigkeit) festgestellt, wird dies durch «ERR»

auf dem Display angezeigt. In diesem Falle muss

das Thermometer zur Reparatur an die zuständige

Servicestelle geschickt werden.

BEDIENUNG

Während der Messung wird die aktuelle Tempe-

ratur laufend angezeigt. Das «

°C

»-Zeichen blinkt

während dieser Zeit ständig. Wenn ein Signalton

ertönt und das «

°C

» nicht mehr blinkt, bedeutet

dies, dass der Temperaturanstieg jetzt kleiner als

0,1 °C in 8 Sekunden ist und das Thermometer

be reit zum Ablesen ist. Zur Verlängerung der

Batte rielebensdauer schalten Sie bitte das

Gerät nach Gebrauch durch kurzes Drücken der

Bedienungs taste aus. Ansonsten schaltet sich das

Thermometer nach ca. 10 Minuten von selbst aus.

MESSWERTSPEICHER

Wenn Sie beim Einschalten die Taste für mehr als

3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, erscheint der bei der

letzten Messung automatisch gespeicherte Tempe-

ratur-Höchstwert. Gleichzeitig erscheint rechts in

der Anzeige ein kleines «M» für Memory. Nach wei-

teren 3 Sekunden erlischt dieser Wert wieder und

das Thermometer schaltet sich von selbst aus.

REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION

Das Thermometer ist garantiert wasserdicht

und darf daher zur Reinigung problemlos in

Wasser oder Desinfektionslösungen einge-

taucht werden. Wischen Sie es danach bitte mit

einem feuchten Tuch ab und verwenden Sie zur

Desinfektion das nachfolgend aufgeführte

Desinfektionsmittel:

TURNING ON THE THERMOMETER

To turn on the thermometer, push the ON/OFF

button; a short signalling tone [beep] signals

«thermometer ON». A display test is performed.

All segments should be displayed. Then at

an ambient tempe rature of less than 32 °C,

«- - -» and a flashing «°C» appear at the upper

right of the display. The thermometer is now

ready for use.

FUNCTION TEST

Proper functioning of the thermometer is tested

automatically each time it is turned on. If a mal-

function is detected (measu rement inaccuracy),

this is indicated by «ERR» on the display, and a

measurement becomes impossible. In this case,

the thermometer must be replaced.

USING THE THERMOMETER

During a measurement, the current temperature

is displayed continuously. The «°C» symbol

flashes during this period of time. If the

signal tone sounds (beep-beep-beep-beep

10 times) and the «°C» is no longer flashing, this

means that the measured increase in tempera-

ture is now less than 0.1 °C in 8 seconds and that

the thermometer is ready for reading.

To prolong the life of the battery, turn the thermo-

meter off after use by press ing the operating

button briefly. Otherwise the thermo meter will

automatically turn off after about 10 minutes.

STORAGE OF MEASURED VALUES

If you hold the button down for more than

3seconds when turning the thermometer on, the

maximum temperature stored automatically at

the last measurement will be displayed. At the

same time, a small «M» for memory will appear

at the right of the display. After 3 more seconds,

this value will disappear and the thermometer

will automatically turn off.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING

The thermometer is 100 % waterproof and may

be immersed in water or disinfectant solution

for cleaning with no problem. Then wipe it off

with a moist towel. Please use the following

disinfectant for disinfecting, following the

manu facturer’s instructions:

ACCENSIONE DEL TERMOMETRO

Per accendere il termometro, premere il tasto

Acceso/Spento; un breve segnale acustico indica

che il termometro è acceso. Viene auto matica men te

eseguito un test del display. Tutte le icone devono

apparire sul display. Quando la tem pe ra tura

ambiente è minore di 32 °C compa rirà nel display

«- - -» (Low temperatu ra troppo bassa per essere

rilevata) e in alto a destra una «

°C

» lampeggiante. Il

termometro è ora pronto all’uso.

AUTOTEST DI FUNZIONAMENTO

Il regolare funzionamento del termometro

viene controllato ogni volta che si accende. Se

nell’au totest di funzionamento viene individuata

una disfunzione (inesattezza della misurazione),

comparirà «ERR» sul display e non sarà possibi-

le procedere alla misurazione. In questo caso, il

termometro deve essere sostituito.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO

Durante la misurazione, la temperatura viene

visualizzata sul display in modo continuo e il sim-

bolo «°C» lampeggia. Quando l’incremento della

temperatura è inferiore a 0.1 °C ogni 8 secondi

il segnalatore acustico (bip-bip-bip per 10 volte)

avviserà che la misurazione della temperatura

è terminata, il simbolo «°C» cessera’ di lampeg-

giare ed il termometro sarà pronto per la lettura

della temperatura corporea. Per prolungare la

durata della batteria, spegnere il termometro

dopo l’uso premendo brevemente il tasto di

accensione e spegnimento. Il termometro, si

spegnerà automaticamente dopo circa 10 minuti.

REGISTRAZIONE DEI VALORI MISURATI

Se si tiene premuto il tasto per più di tre secondi

quando si accende il termometro comparirà

automaticamente sul display la temperatura

registrata durante l’ultima misurazione e una

piccola «M» indicherà che la lettura è di un dato

in memoria. Dopo 3 secondi questo valore sparirà

e il termometro si spegnerà automaticamente.

PULIZIA E DISINFEZIONE

Il termometro è al 100 % impermeabile e può

essere immerso in acqua o in soluzione disin-

fettante per pulirlo senza problemi. Asciugarlo

con un panno morbido. Si consiglia per la

disinfezione uno dei seguenti prodotti seguendo

scrupolosamente le istruzioni del produttore:

REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE

Lorsque le symbole «▼» s’affiche dans le coin

inférieur droit de l’écran, la pile est usée et doit

être changée. Pour effectuer son remplacement,

enlever le couvercle du logement de la pile du

thermomètre. Remplacer la pile usée par une

nouvelle pile du même type en veillant à bien

orienter la borne positive (+) vers le haut. Les piles

appropriées peuvent être achetées chez tout

électricien. Pour jeter les piles usées, se reporter

aux «Précautions d’emploi».

indica che la pila è esaurita e si deve sosti tuire.

Per la sostituzione della batteria rimuovere il

coperchio del termometro. Sostituire la batteria

scarica posizionando il + rivolto verso l’alto.

Assicurarsi che la batteria sia dello stesso

tipo. Le batterie possono essere acquistate in

qualsiasi negozio di materiale elettrico. Per lo

BATTERIEWECHSEL

Sobald rechts in der LCD-Anzeige das Symbol

«▼» erscheint, ist die Batterie erschöpft und ein

Batteriewechsel ist fällig. Zuerst die Batterie-

Abdeckung (Kappe) abziehen. Neue Batterie mit

+ Zeichen nach oben einsetzen und Batterie-

Abdeckung wieder aufsetzen. Nur den gleichen

Batterietyp verwenden. Batterien erhalten Sie in

jedem Elektrofachgeschäft. Die Leere Batterie

bitte vorschriftsmässig gemäss «Sicherheitshin-

weise» ent sorgen.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

appears in the lower right of the display, the

battery is exhausted and needs replacing. For

the battery replacement please remove the

compartment lid of the thermometer. Replace

the exhausted battery by positioning the + at

the top. Make sure a battery of the same type

is on hand. Batteries can be purchased at any

electrical goods shops. For battery disposal

please refer to «safety instructions».
