Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Fibre Optic HDMI 2.0 Extender. This fibre optic extender allows you to
transmit HDMI 2.0 UHD signals with the full resolution of at least 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz, with HDCP without
compression or loss of quality up to 200m/600feet using a single MPO Fibre cable.

Installation and Operation
Important! Do not bend the MPO fibre cable beyond its maximum bend radius and ensure the
connectors are protected from dust. Please keep the protecting caps.
1. Use HDMI cables (≤ 2m) to connect your HDMI source to the Transmitter and HDMI sink (monitor,
splitter, converter, …) to the Receiver.
2. Remove the dust covers from the MPO fibre connectors and connect them to the Transmitter and
Receiver. Please ensure that the connectors snap into place before proceeding.
3. Plug the power supplies into the transmitter and receiver and power on all your devices starting from
the sink (monitor).
4. All LEDs on Transmitter and Receiver should be lit.
a. If this is not the case ensure that all connectors are fully engaged!
b. If the power LED is not lit the Transmitter or Receiver isn’t powered up or faulty
c. If the Source LED is not lit the HDMI connection to the source is not established correctly
d. If the Sink LED is not lit the HDMI connection to the Sink device is not established correctly
e. If the Fiber LED is not lit the fiber connection between Transmitter and Receiver is not working.
Check if the connectors are seated well and if there is not any dust or dirt in the connection. If this
doesn’t help check if the fiber cable is broken or has a kink and replace it.
5. If none of this helps try shorter HDMI cables

Der HDMI 2.0 Fiber Optic Extender überträgt HDMI-Signale unkomprimiert in voller Auflösung und Qualität
über optische LWL MPO Kabel bis 200m. Er unterstützt HDMI 2.0 UHD Signale bis 4K60 bzw. mindestens
bis 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz einschließlich HDCP und Audiosignalen.

HINWEIS: LWL MPO Kabel nicht knicken oder zu eng biegen! MPO Anschlüsse und Stecker vor Staub
schützen! Schutzkappen aufbewahren!
1. Schließen Sie mit HDMI Kabeln (≤ 2m) die HDMI Signalquelle (Source) an den Transmitter an und das
HDMI-Sink-Gerät (Monitor, Splitter, …) an den Receiver an
2. Entfernen Sie ggf. die Schutzkappen auf den MPO Anschlüssen und schließen Sie das MPO Kabel
an Transmitter und Receiver an. Achten Sie darauf dass die Stecker staubfrei bleiben und korrekt
einrasten.
3. Schließen Sie die Netzteile an Transmitter und Receiver an und schalten Sie vom Monitor aus
kommend alle Geräte ein.
4. Alle LEDs an Transmitter und Receiver sollten aufleuchten.
a. Falls nicht der Fall, überprüfen Sie bitte alle Steckverbindungen
b. Wenn die Power LED nicht leuchtet liegt ein Problem mit der Stromversorgung vor
c. Wenn die Source LED nicht leuchtet liegt das Problem in der Verbindung zur HDMI Signalquelle
d. Wenn die Sink LED nicht leuchtet liegt das Problem in der Verbindung zum HDMI Gerät am
Ausgang (Monitor, Splitter, …)
e. Wenn die Fiber LED nicht leuchtet liegt das Problem in der Verbindung zwischen Transmitter und
Receiver. Prüfen Sie den korrekten Sitz der Stecker und ob eventuell Staub dazwischen geraten
ist. Falls dieses nicht hilft, prüfen Sie bitte ob das LWL-Kabel eine Bruch- oder Knickstelle aufweist
und ersetzen Sie das Kabel.
5. Falls alles nicht hilft, versuchen Sie es mit kürzeren Anschlusskabeln zu Transmitter und Receiver.
6. Falls auch dies nicht hilft kontaktieren Sie bitte das LINDY Support Team unter der auf unserer Website
genannten Telefonnummer oder per Kontaktformular.

Introduction
Merci d’avoir choisi le Fibre Optic HDMI 2.0 Extender. Cet extender/amplificateur sur fibre optique vous
permet de transmettre des signaux HDMI 2.0 UHD en pleine résolution d’au moins 3840 x 2160 @ 60Hz,
avec HDCP sans compression ni perte de qualité jusqu’à 200m en utilisant de la fibre optique single MPO.

Installation et Utilisation
Important! Ne pas courber la fibre optique MPO au-dessus de son rayon de courbure maximum et
assurez-vous que les connexions soient protégées contre la poussière. Merci de conserver les capuchons
de protection. Une fibre optique 12 Core MPO avec méthode de terminaison A (1:1) est requise
7. Utilisez des câbles HDMI (≤ 2m) pour connecter votre source HDMI au Transmitter (émetteur) et
l’appareil récepteur HDMI (écran, splitter, convertisseur, …) au Receiver (récepteur).
8. Retirez les capuchons de protection des connecteurs de fibre MPO et connectez la fibre MPO au
Transmitter et Receiver. Merci de vous assurer que les connecteurs soient bien engagés.
9. Branchez les alimentations au transmitter et au receiver et mettez tous les appareils sous tensions en
commençant par le récepteur (écran,…).
10. Toutes les LED sur le Transmitter et le Receiver devraient être allumées.
a. Si ce n’est pas le cas, assurez-vous que toutes les connexions sont bien établies !
b. Si la LED power ne s’allume pas sur le Transmitter ou Receiver, il s’agit d’un défaut d’alimentation
c. Si la LED Source n’est pas allumée, la connexion HDMI à la source n’est pas établie de façon
correcte
d. Si la LED Sink n’est pas allumée, la connexion HDMI à l’appareil récepteur n’est pas établie de
façon correcte
e. Si la LED Fiber n’est pas allumée, la connexion fibre entre Transmitter et Receiver ne fonctionne
pas. Vérifiez que les connexions sont bien établies et s’il n’y a pas de poussière ou de saletés dans
les connecteurs. Merci de vérifier l’intégrité de la fibre optique si cela ne solutionne pas le problème,
remplacez là si nécessaire.
11. Si aucune de ces solutions ne fonctionnent, essayez avec des câbles HDMI plus courts
12. Si cela ne suffit pas, merci de contacter le support technique LINDY à l’aide des coordonnées fournies

Installazione ed Utilizzo
ATTENZIONE: Non piegate mai il cavo in Fibra MPO e non posatelo facendogli fare curve troppo
strette! Quando non sono collegati proteggete sempre i connettori dalla polvere con gli appositi
tappi!
Vi preghiamo di utilizzare solo cavi MPO a 12 Core con terminazione Method A (1:1).
1. Utilizzate dei cavi HDMI (≤ 2m) per connettere la vostra sorgente HDMI al trasmettitore e il monitor (o
splitter, converter, ecc..) al ricevitore.
2. Rimuovete le protezioni anti-polvere dai connettori MPO e collegateli al Trasmettitore e al Ricevitore.
Vi preghiamo di assicurarvi che i connettori siano perfettamente inseriti prima di procedere.
3. Collegate gli alimentatori al trasmettitore ed al ricevitore e poi iniziate ad accendere tutti gli altri
dispositivi partendo dal monitor (o dal dispositivo posto al termine della catena)
4. Tutti i LED sul Trasmettitore e sul Ricevitore dovrebbero essere accesi.
a. Se così non fosse controllate che tutti i connettori siano perfettamente inseriti!
b. Se il LED Power non è acceso significa che il Trasmettitore o il Ricevitore non sono alimentati o
sono guasti.
c. Se il LED Source non si accende significa che la connessione non è avvenuta correttamente
d. Se il LED Sink non è acceso significa che la connessione con il dispositivo di destinazione (monitor
o altro) non è avvenuta correttamente
e. Se il LED Fiber non è acceso significa che la connessione su fibra fra le due unità trasmittente e
ricevente non funziona. Provate ad invertire i plug LC su una delle due unità. Se il problema non si
risolve controllate che il cavo non sia danneggiato.
5. Se il dispositivo non funzionasse e tutti i led non riportano problemi provate ad utilizzare cavi HDMI più
corti.
6. Se anche questo tentativo non dovesse funzionare contattate il supporto tecnico LINDY ai contatti
presenti sul nostro sito web.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead,
these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state, as well as the UK, has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in
slightly different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic
products. More details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
Battery Remark:
Do not put empty batteries in your domestic waste bin as they will not be recycled. Empty batteries can be returned
for recycling at our trade counter or at your local household recycling centre.
The raw materials enclosed in batteries such as Zinc, Iron and Nickel can be reused to a very large proportion. The
recycling of batteries and disused/obsolete electronic equipment is one of the most efficient environment protection
actions you can easily take.
