•Do not exceed the 5000 g / 11 lb weight capacity as it will

damage the scale. An error indicator will appear on the LCD

display if the limit is exceeded.

•Do not immerse the scale in water or any liquid. If liquid is spilt

on the digital display or buttons, immediately wipe the scale dry

with a soft cloth to avoid internal damage.

•Handle with care. This scale is not intended for commercial or

heavy-duty use.

•Keep the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid exposure to damp

environments or extreme temperatures.

•Household use only.

•Do not mix new and old batteries.

•If the low battery indicator “ “ appears on the display, replace

the batteries.

•If the scale is not in use for an extended period of time, remove the

batteries to conserve battery life and extend the lifetime of the

scale.

Using Your Scale

Note:

•For accurate results, always place the scale on a hard, dry, flat

surface, and keep the scale away from dirt, dust, vibrations, wind, air

currents, and electromagnetic interference.

•When you turn on the scale, choose units, or use the tare function,

wait for the display to read before measuring.

•The batteries are pre-installed in the scale. Turn the scale over and

pull the plastic strip out from the battery compartment.

General Operation

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat, level surface.

2. Press TARE to turn on the scale. Make sure the display reads .

Press UNIT to select your desired measuring unit, which will show on

the right of the display.

3. Place your item on the scale.

4. Wait for the reading on the display to stabilize.

Zero / Tare Function

1. Press TARE to turn on the scale. Make sure the display reads . If

the screen does not display automatically, press TARE to

auto-adjust to zero.

2. Place the container on the centre of the scale.

3. Wait for the reading on the display to stabilize. The display will show

the container’s weight.

4. Press TARE to tare the weight of the container. The screen should now

display .

5. Place the liquid or items into the container. The scale will measure the

contents without including the weight of the container. [Figure 2.1]

6. When you’re done, reset the scale by removing all weight and pressing

TARE again.

Whenever you measure items inside a container, you can use the tare

function to remove the container’s weight from the final measurement.

Automatic Power Off

Manual Power Off

To change the unit of measurement, press UNIT until the display shows

the desired unit of measurement.

To save battery power, the scale will automatically power off after 180

seconds of inactivity.

Press and hold TARE for 2 seconds to turn off the scale.

Replacing the Batteries

1. Turn the scale over and open the battery compartment.

2. Take out the used batteries and replace them with 2 new 3V

CR2032 batteries.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw it shut.

Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and

death.Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion.Seek medical

attention immediately.

• Place sticky tape around both sides of the battery and dispose of it

immediately

in an outside bin or recycle safely

•Store spare batteries securely

•recycling units emptied on a regular basis

•use of opaque containers – to keep the batteries out of view;

Unfortunately, it is not obvious when a button or coin battery is stuck in a

child’s oesophagus (food pipe). The child might:

• cough, gag or drool a lot;

• appear to have a stomach upset or a virus;

• be sick;

• point to their throat or stomach;

• have a pain in their abdomen, chest or throat;

• be tired or lethargic;

• be quieter or more clingy than usual or otherwise “not themselves”;

• lose their appetite or have a reduced appetite; and

• not want to eat solid food / be unable to eat solid food.

These sorts of symptoms vary or fluctuate, with the pain increasing and then

subsiding.

A specific symptom to button and coin battery ingestion is vomiting fresh

(bright red) blood. If the child does this seek immediate medical help.

The lack of clear symptoms is why it is important to be vigilant with “flat” or

sparebutton or coin batteries in the home and the products that contain them.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Solution

Scale does not turn on.

Open the battery compartment cover and remove the

plastic strip.

Replace the batteries (see page 11).

Make sure batteries are inserted under the correct

polarity as marked in the battery compartment.

Reading is inaccurate.

Place scale on a level surface.

Make sure the screen displays before

measuring (see Zero / Tare Function, page 10).

Remove the batteries for 45 seconds, then replace

them to reset the scale.

Display shows

Item is too heavy. Remove item from scale to protect

its weight sensors. Use a different scale with a higher

weight range.

Display shows Calibration error. Turn the scale off and on again.

Avoid moving the scale while measuring.

Display shows Battery power is low. Replace the batteries

(see page 11).

Der Gebrauch Ihrer Waage

Hinweis:

•Für genaues Wiegen muss die Waage stets auf eine harte,

trockene, ebene Fläche und von Schmutz, Staub, Vibrationen, Wind,

Luftströmen und elektromagnetischen Störungen entfernt gestellt

werden.

•Wenn Sie die Waage einschalten, wählen Sie die Maßeinheiten oder

benutzen Sie die Tarafunktion, warten Sie, bis auf der Anzeige

erscheint, bevor Sie mit dem Wiegen beginnen.

•Die Batterien sind in der Waage vorinstalliert. Drehen Sie die Waage

um und ziehen Sie den Kunststoffstreifen aus dem Batteriefach.

1. Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine harte, ebene Fläche.

2. Drücken Sie TARE, um die Waage einzuschalten. Vergewissern Sie sich,

dass auf der Anzeige angezeigt wird. Drücken Sie UNIT, um die

gewünschte Maßeinheit auszuwählen, die dann rechts auf der

Anzeige erscheint.

3. Stellen Sie das Wiegegut auf die Waage.

4. Warten Sie, bis sich der angezeigte Messwert stabilisiert hat.

Null-/Tarafunktion

1. Drücken Sie TARE, um die Waage einzuschalten. Vergewissern Sie

sich, dass auf der Anzeige angezeigt wird. Wenn die Anzeige

nicht automatisch anzeigt, drücken Sie TARE, um den Nullpunkt

automatisch einzustellen.

2. Stellen Sie den Behälter in die Mitte der Waage.

3. Warten Sie, bis sich der angezeigte Messwert stabilisiert hat. Auf der

Anzeige erscheint das Gewicht des Behälters.

4. Drücken Sie TARE, um das Gewicht des Behälters zu tarieren. Es sollte

nun auf der Anzeige erscheinen.

5. Geben Sie die Flüssigkeit oder das Wiegegut in den Behälter. Die Waage

misst den Inhalt, ohne das Gewicht des Behälters einzubeziehen.

6. Wenn der Wiegevorgang abgeschlossen ist, entfernen Sie das gesamte

Gewicht und drücken Sie nochmals TARE.

Wenn Sie Wiegegut in einem Behälter wiegen, können Sie die Tarafunktion

benutzen, um das Gewicht des Behälters vom Endgewicht abzuziehen.

Umrechnung von Maßeinheiten

Manuelle Abschaltung

Um die Maßeinheit zu ändern, drücken Sie UNIT, bis die gewünschte

Maßeinheit auf der Anzeige erscheint.

Um die Batterien zu schonen, schaltet sich die Waage automatisch aus,

wenn sie 180 Sekunden lang nicht benutzt wurde.

Halten Sie TARE zwei Sekunden lang gedrückt, um die Waage auszuschalten.

Auswechseln der Batterien

1. Drehen Sie die Waage um und öffnen Sie das Batteriefach.

2. Nehmen Sie die gebrauchten Batterien heraus und ersetzen Sie sie

durch zwei neue 3 V CR2032-Batterien.

3. Bringen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs wieder an und schrauben Sie

ihn fest.

Dieses Produkt enthält eine Münz-/Knopfbatterie

FÜR KINDER UNERREICHBAR AUFBEWAHREN

Verschlucken kann zu Verätzungen, Perforation von Weichteilen und zum Tod

führen. 2 Stunden nach Verschlucken können schwere Verätzungen auftreten.

• Kleben Sie beide Seiten der Batterie mit Klebeband ab und entsorgen Sie

die Batterie entsprechend der lokalen Richtlinien für das Recycling.

•Lagern Sie Ersatzbatterien sicher.

•Führen Sie leere Batterien regelmäßig dem Recycling zu.

•Verwenden Sie undurchsichtige Behälter, um die Batterien außer Sicht zu

halten.

Leider ist es nicht offensichtlich, wenn eine Knopf- oder Münzbatterie in der

Speiseröhre eines Kindes steckt. Das Kind könnte folgende Symptome zeigen:

•Hustet, würgt oder speichelt viel;

•Zeigt Symptome einer Magenverstimmung oder eines Virus;

•Ist offensichtlich krank;

•Zeigt auf seinen Hals oder Bauch;

•Hat Schmerzen im Unterleib, in der Brust oder im Hals;

•Ist müde oder lethargisch;

•Ist ruhiger oder anhänglicher als üblich oder auf andere Weise nicht wie

sonst;

•Hat keinen Appetit oder einen verminderten Appetit;

•Möchte bzw. kann keine feste Nahrung zu sich nehmen.cough, gag or drool a lot;

Diese Art von Symptomen variiert oder schwankt, wobei die Schmerzen

zunehmen und dann wieder abklingen.

Ein spezifisches Symptom für das Verschlucken von Knopf- und Münzbatterien

ist das Erbrechen von frischem (hellrotem) Blut. Wenn dies geschieht, rufen

Sie sofort ärztliche Hilfe.

Da es keine eindeutigen Symptome gibt, ist es wichtig, mit „leeren“ oder

Ersatz-Knopf- oder Münzbatterien im Haushalt und den Produkten, die sie

enthalten, vorsichtig umzugehen.
