This operating instruction contains important details for handling the

hand-tiller. Please pass the manual on along with the hand-tiller if it is

handed over to a third party!

 Das Gerät kann bei unsachgemäßem Gebrauch ernsthafte

Verletzungen verursachen. Lesen Sie erst die Bedienungsan-

leitung vollständig durch, bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur für den bestimmungsgemäßen

Gebrauch zum Umgraben und Auflockern von Beeten. Ver-

wenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich entsprechend dem in

dieser Gebrauchsanweisung angegebenen Verwendungs-

zweck.

 Falls Sie das Gerät an andere Personen verleihen, händigen

Sie die Bedienungsanleitung mit aus.

 Beachten Sie die gesetzlichen Vorschriften für Ruhezeiten.

 Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe entzündbarer

Beachten Sie bitte zur Vermeidung von Fehlfunktionen,

Schäden und gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen die

folgende Hinweise sowie die Allgemeinen Sicherheits-

hinweise:

Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen.

 Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Dauereinsatz vor-

gesehen.

 Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht dem Regen aus. Benutzen Sie

das Gerät nicht bei feuchter oder nasser Umgebung. Arbeiten

Sie nicht bei Dunkelheit.

 Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor jeder Benutzung zuerst auf

beschädigte Teile und benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, falls

Beschädigungen gefunden werden. Setzen Sie niemals Si-

cherheitsvorrichtungen außer Kraft.

 Tragen Sie je nach Arbeitssituation geeignete Arbeitskleidung

und Schutzausrüstung. Tragen Sie keine weite Kleidung,

Schmuck etc. und binden Sie lange Haare zusammen. Tragen

Sie Augen- und Gehörschutz. Tragen Sie festes Schuhwerk

und lange Hosen zum Schutz Ihrer Beine.

 Achten Sie beim Arbeiten immer auf einen sicheren und

festen Stand. Achtung beim Rückwärtsgehen. Stolpergefahr!

 Halten Sie beim Transport niemals die Hand am EIN/AUS-

Schalter. Entnehmen Sie den Akku aus dem Gerät. Sorgfälti-

ger Umgang mit dem Gerät verringert die Verletzungsgefahr

durch die Messer.

 Versuchen Sie nicht, bei laufendem Motor Schnittgut bzw.

Erdklumpen zu entfernen oder zu schneidendes Material

festzuhalten. Entfernen Sie eingeklemmtes Schnittgut bzw.

Erdklumpen nur bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät. Entfernen Sie

den Akku aus dem Gerät. Ein Moment der Unachtsamkeit bei

Benutzung des Gerätes kann zu schweren Verletzungen

führen.

 Berühren Sie nicht die Hacksterne während des Betriebes

und halten Sie Finger, Haare, Kleidung und sonstige Gegen-

stände fern von den Messern. Schalten Sie das Gerät erst an,

wenn Ihre Hände und Füße von den Hacksternen entfernt

sind. Beachten Sie, dass nach dem Ausschalten des Gerätes

die Hacksterne noch kurze Zeit nachlaufen. Lassen Sie die

Hacksterne erst zum Stillstand kommen.

 Halten Sie die Hacksterne immer sauber. Ersetzen Sie einen

defekten oder vollkommen abgenutzten Hackstern nur durch

ein Originalersatzteil. Verbogene Messer überlasten das

Gerät.

 Achten Sie darauf, dass die Messer nicht an Metall anstoßen

und dass sich beim Schneiden keine Gegenstände wie Draht,

Metallteile etc. in den Hacksternen verfangen können. Dies

kann zu Schäden an den Hacksternen und am Gerät führen.

Beim Blockieren der Hacksterne, schalten Sie das Gerät

sofort aus.

 Arbeiten Sie nicht mit übermäßigem Druck und wenden Sie

bei der Arbeit keine Gewalt an. Lassen Sie das Gerät in dem

Tempo arbeiten, für welches es ausgelegt ist.

 Laden Sie den Akku des Gerätes nur mit der mitgelieferten

Ladestation und dem Ladegerät. Laden Sie keine anderen

Akkus mit diesem Zubehör.

 Laden Sie den Akku nur bei Umgebungstemperaturen

zwischen 10º C und 40º C. Ein geladener Akku kann in einer

Umgebungstemperatur zwischen 0º C und 50º C zum Antrieb

des Gerätes benutzt werden. Setzen Sie den Akku nicht

extremen Bedingungen aus, wie Wärme oder Stöße. Der

Akku könnte beschädigt werden, wodurch Batteriesäure aus-

laufen kann. Batteriesäure ist äußerst aggressiv und führt zu

ernsthaften Verätzungen.

 Lagern Sie das Gerät und das Zubehör an einem trockenen

Ort zwischen 10º C und 30º C. Halten Sie alle Teile außer

Reichweite von Kindern und zu beaufsichtigenden Personen.

 Akkus dürfen nicht auseinander genommen, ins Feuer ge-

worfen oder kurzgeschlossen werden.

 Falls am Gerät Schäden auftreten, benutzen Sie das Gerät

nicht mehr und lassen Sie es durch einen Fachmann instand

 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are

not allowed to use the hand-tiller, unless they are supervised

and brief by a qualified person.

 Keep bystanders out of the working area. Stop working with

the unit if bystanders and animals are in the vicinity of the

hand-tiller.

 Do not leave the hand-tiller unattended. If you interrupt work,

store the hand-tiller in a safe place. Pull out the battery!

 The hand-tiller can lead to serious injuries in case of improper

handling and misuse. Read and understand the manual first

before using the unit.

 Use the hand-tiller only for the intended use to dig up grass

areas and loosening flower beds. Only use the hand-tiller for

the purpose specified in these instructions.

 If you give the equipment to any other person, hand over

these operating instructions as well.

 Always observe the legal regulations for rest periods.

 Do not use the hand-tiller near flammable liquids or gases.

 The hand-tiller is not designed for continuous, professional

use.

 Do not expose the hand-tiller to rain. Do not operate the unit

in damp or wet locations. Do not work in the dark.

 Before using, check the hand-tiller for any damaged parts and

do not use the hand-tiller if damages are detected. Never

disable safety devices.

 According to application wear suitable clothing and protective

equipment. Do not wear loose clothing, jewellery etc. Tie up

long hair. Wear eye and hearing protection. Wear sturdy

shoes and long trousers to protect your legs.

 Make sure to have a safety stand when operating the hand-

tiller. Attention when walking backwards. Risk of tripping!

 Never hold your hand by the ON/OFF switch during transport.

Remove the battery from the device. Careful handling of the

unit reduces the risk of injury from the tiller tines.

 Do not attempt to remove cut material/earth lumps from the

tiller wheels or to hold material to be cut when the tiller tines

are running. Remove jammed material from the tiller tines

after the hand-tiller is switched off. Remove the battery from

the device. A moment of inattention while operating the hand-

tiller may result in serious personal injury.

 Do not touch the tiller wheels during use and keep fingers,

hair, clothing and similar objects away from the tiller tines.

Switch on the unit only when your fingers and feet are clear

off the tiller wheels. Please note that the tiller wheels will still

move for some seconds after switching off. Wait unit the tiller

tines have come to a standstill.

 Keep the tiller wheels always clean. Replace defective or

completely worn tiller wheels with original parts only. Bent

tiller tines will overload of the hand-tiller.

 When working with the hand-tiller make sure the tiller tines will

not touch wire etc. Always make sure metal parts, fences etc.

the tiller tines and the unit. When the tiller tines become

blocked, immediately switch off the unit.

 Do not force the hand-tiller while working. Allow the unit to

work at the rate for which it was designed.

Safety Notes

 Charge the battery of the hand-tiller only with the included

charging station and power supply unit. Do not charge other

devices with this accessory.

 Only charge the battery at an ambient temperature between

10º C and 40º C. A charged battery can be used to power the

unit under ambient temperature conditions between 0º C and

50º C. Do not expose the battery to extreme conditions such

as heat or impacts. The battery can be damaged and corro-

sive liquid can leak out. Battery acid is very aggressive and

can lead to serious acid burns.

 When not in use, store the battery in a dry place between

10º C and 30º C out of reach of children and persons in need

of supervision.

 Do not disassemble burn or short-circuit batteries.

 Should the hand-tiller become damaged do not use it and

have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer

support department. Do not disassemble the hand-tiller or try

repairing it yourself.
