BODUM AUSTRALIA WARRANTY

We are pleased to say that the return rate on BODUM® product is very low; however, should you

need to process a returned BODUM® product under warranty, please follow the simple procedure

below. We have tried to make it as simple as possible for both yourself and the end consumer.

BODUM AUSTRALIA WARRANTY PROCEDURE

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Consumers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for

any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Consumers are also entitled to have the goods

repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount

to a major failure.

The beneits to BODUM® customers given by the warranty set out below are in addition to other

rights and remedies under a law in relation to the BODUM® product to which the warranty relates.

To process a faulty BODUM® product you will require a Return Authorisation (RA) number.

Returned items without a RA number are not able to be processed for credit or replacement. Con-

tact BODUM® on (02) 9692 0582 for a RA number.

Faulty product does not include items which have incurred wear and tear through general home

use, misuse or commercial use. Warranty does not include accidental glass breakages.

Warranty period:

e-Bodum®: 2 year replacement warranty from the date of purchase for electrical appliances

where a defect appears and BODUM® is notiied within 2 years from date of purchase.

Proof of purchase: any claim from the end consumer must be validated with a copy of proof of

purchase; without providing a proof of purchase BODUM® Australia will not be able to process

the claim. Proof of purchase includes original purchase receipt/docket or credit card statement

showing the purchase amount.

Replacement or credit: once claim is validated, if possible please replace the faulty item from

stock on hand. If a customer requires a replacement for an item which you don’t have on hand,

please have the item added to your next order.

Return or work order: to ensure that the return process is as easy as possible for both you and

the end consumer, we don’t do work orders or product repairs.

Once you have received a RA number and sighted the product please safely dispose of the faulty

item. We don’t require the faulty product to be sent back to us. However, if you come across an

unusual fault which you think we need to be aware of please send it back to BODUM® Australia

Head Oice.

Instructions for use

hzrds involved. Children should not ply with the

pplince. Clening nd user mintennce should not be

done by children without supervision.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

PREPARE

WEIGHING

1. Remove the scle from the pckging.

Choking hzrd! Keep pckging mterils out of rech

of young children.

2. Insert three AAA btteries.

3. Plce the pltform correctly, so the disply is esily

visible.

Plce the scle on  lt, irm surfce - this is essentil for

correct mesurement.

Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the scle. As soon s

"0" ppers, the scle is redy for use.

If you put  bowl on the scle before switching it on, the

weight of the bowl will be included nd the disply will show

"0". You my then put your items into the bowl for direct

reding of their weight.

When the scle is in use nd you wnt to use  bowl for

weighing, you cn simply plce  bowl on the scle nd

press the ON/OFF button to reset to zero.

If you wnt to reset the scle to zero, press the ON/OFF

button.

Barista Scale

The scle cn be restrted repetedly when in use.

To switch OFF the scle, press nd hold the ON/OFF button for

2 seconds until the LCD disply is switched o.

The mximum weighing cpcity of the scle is 5000g. The

disply will show "Err" if the scle is overloded.

Scle division: 1200g=0,1g/200500g=0,5g/5005000g=1g

The displyed unit cn be chnged from g/ml to lb/oz nd

the other wy round by pushing the button (8) on the

bottom of the scle.

Once the unit hs been converted, it will sty in this mode

when it is next used.

TIMER

AUTOOFF

FUNCTION

Switch on the scle; when "0" ppers on the disply, the

scle is redy for use.

Press the TIMER button to strt timer.

Press the TIMER button to stop timer.

To reset the timer press the TIMER button for 2 seconds.

The mximum timer time is 99 minutes.

The scle’s bcklight will help you monitor the whole

brewing process.

After the irst 30 seconds the bcklight will blink to indicte

blooming’s durtion. The timer will keep counting

nd will blink gin fter 4 minutes when optiml brewing

time is over.

You my switch o the scle t ny time by pressing the ON/

OFF button nd holding it for pprox. 2 seconds until the

disply is blnk.

In order to prolong bttery life, the bck light is switched o

utomticlly if no buttons re operted or no weight is

chnged nd if the timer is not set.

If ny button is operted or weight chnged, the blcklight

will come on gin utomticlly.

Hence, if there hsn’t been ny ction involving either the

weight or timer, the scle will be power o utomticlly

fter 2 minutes.

AND CLEANING

When "Lo" ppers on the disply, the bttery must be

replced. The scle requires 3 AAA btteries. The bttery

comprtment is locted on the underside of the scle.

To replce the btteries, you hve to open the bttery

cover nd remove the used btteries. Before you plce the

new btteries in the comprtment, plese mke sure the

btteries re instlled with the correct polrity (+)/(–).

Non-rechrgeble btteries should not be rechrged.

Rechrgeble btteries should be removed from the

pplince before being chrged.

If the pplince is to be stored unused for  long period, the

btteries should be removed.

The supply terminls should not be short-circuited.

Note: To prevent hrm to the environment, used btteries

should be disposed of through your electricl deler or locl

resource recycling collection point.

Do not immerse the scle in wter.

Only the removble pltform is dishwsher sfe.

Do not put items exceeding 5000g onto the scle s this

could dmge it.

Do not llow the scle to come into contct with strong-

ly lvoured/coloured food or cids, such s citrus fruit zest,

which cn cuse dmge to the plstic surfces. When such

items re used, it is recommended tht the weighing surfce

irst be lined with grese-proof pper or cling ilm nd then

wshed/wiped clen immeditely fterwrds.

The outer csing of the scle my be wiped clen with 

dmp cloth nd the pltform cn be put in the dishwsher.

Do not expose the scle to ire, direct sunlight or cidic

substnces.

Store the scle only when it is dry.

REMOVE THE

PLATFORM

1. With one hnd irmly hold the scle body nd with the

other hnd hold the pltform.

2. Crefully push the pltform bckwrds.

3. Once the pltform is detched, tke it o by lifting it

upwrd.

ATTENTION: Never lift the pltform without hving it

unplugged from the scle. This would dmge the item.

NOTE: Alwys use the scle with the pltform plugged in.

4. While repositioning the pltform, mke sure the rrow is

pointing to the disply.

1. Entfernen Sie die Wge us der Verpckung.

Erstickungsgefhr! Verwhren Sie die

2. Legen Sie drei AAABtterien ein.

3. Pltzieren Sie die Plttform korrekt, dmit die Anzeige

gut sichtbr ist.

Stellen Sie die Wge uf eine ebene, feste Unterlge – ds

ist wichtig für die richtige Messung.

Drücken Sie die EIN/AUSTste, um die Wge einzuschlten

Sobld "0" ngezeigt wird, ist die Wge einstzbereit.

Wenn Sie eine Schüssel uf die Wge stellen, bevor Sie

sie einschlten, wird ds Gewicht der Schüssel einbezogen

und die Anzeige wird "0" nzeigen. Sie können dnn Ihre

Gegenstnde zum direkten Ablesen ihres Gewichts in die

Schüssel geben.

Gebrauchsanweisung

Wenn die Wge benutzt wird und Sie eine Schüssel zum

Wiegen verwenden möchten, dnn können Sie einfch

eine Schüssel uf die Wge stellen und die EIN/AUSTste

drücken, um uf Null zurückzusetzen.

Wenn Sie die Wge uf Null zurücksetzen möchten, drücken

Sie die EIN / AUSTste.

Die Wge knn wiederholt in Betrieb genommen werden.

Um die Wge uszuschlten, drücken und hlten Sie die EIN/

AUSTste für 2 Sekunden, bis die LCDAnzeige usgeschltet

wird.

Die mximle Wiegekpzitt der Wge ist 5000g. Die

Anzeige wird "Err"nzeigen, wenn die Wge überlstet ist.

Sklenteilung: 1200g=0,1g/200500g=0,5g/5005000g=1g

Die ngezeigte Einheit knn durch Drücken der Tste (8) uf

dem Boden der Wge von g/ml uf lb/oz und umgekehrt

gendert werden.

Wenn ds Gert umgestellt wurde, dnn wird es bei der

nchsten Verwendung in diesem Modus bleiben.

Schlten Sie die Wge ein; ls "0" uf der Anzeige erscheint,

ist die Wge einstzbereit.

Drücken Sie die ZEITSCHALTUHRTste, um die Zeitschltuhr

zu strten.

Drücken Sie die ZEITSCHALTUHRTste, um die Zeitschltuhr

zu stoppen.

Um die Zeitschltuhr zurückzusetzen, drücken Sie die

ZEITSCHALTUHRTste für 2 Sekunden.

Die mximle Zeitschltuhrzeit betrgt 99 Minuten.

Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung der Wge wird Ihnen helfen,

den gnzen bruprozess zu überwchen.

Nch den ersten 30 Sekunden wird die

Sie können die Wge jederzeit usschlten, indem Sie die

EIN/AUS- Tste drücken und sie für ungefhr 2 Sekunden

hlten, bis die Anzeige leer wird.

Um die Lebensduer der Btterie zu verlngern, wird die

usgetuscht werden. Die Wge benötigt 3 AAABtterien.

Ds Btteriefch beindet sich uf der Unterseite der Wge.

Um die Btterien zu ersetzen, müssen Sie ds Btteriefch

önen und die leeren Btterien entfernen. Bevor Sie die

neuen Btterien in ds Btteriefch einsetzen, vergewissern

Sie sich bitte, dss die Btterien mit der richtigen Polritt

(+)/(-) eingesetzt sind.

Nicht wiederuldbre Btterien sollten nicht verwendet

werden.

Wiederuldbre Btterien sollten vor dem Lden us dem

Gert entfernt werden.

Wenn ds Gert für lngere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, sollten

die Btterien entfernt werden.

Die Stromversorgungsnschlüsse dürfen nicht

kurzgeschlossen werden.

Hinweis: Um Umweltschden zu vermeiden, sollten

verbruchte Btterien bei Ihrem Elektrofchhndler oder bei

der Smmelstelle für lokle Ressourcen-Recycling entsorgt

werden.

Tuchen Sie die Wge nicht ins Wsser.

Nur die bnehmbre Plttform ist spühlmschinenfest.

Tun Sie keine Gegenstnde uf die Wge die 5000g

überschreiten, d dies zu Schden führen knn.

Vermeiden Sie, dss die Wge mit strk romtisierten/

gefrbten Lebensmitteln oder Suren wie z. B. Zitrusfrüchten,

welche die Kunststooberlchen beschdigen können, in

Berührung kommt. Wenn solche Gegenstnde verwendet

werden, dnn wird empfohlen, die Wiegelche zuerst mit

fettdichtem Ppier oder Frischhltefolie uszukleiden und

dnn unmittelbr dnch zu wschen/bzuwischen.

Ds ußere Gehuse der Wge knn mit einem feuchten

Hintergrundbeleuchtung utomtisch usgeschltet, wenn

keine Tsten bettigt werden oder kein Gewicht gendert

wird und wenn die Zeitschltuhr nicht eingestellt ist.

Wenn eine Tste bettigt oder ds Gewicht gendert wird,

schltet sich ds Schwrzlicht utomtisch wieder ein.

Wenn lso weder Gewicht noch Zeitschltuhr ktiv sind,

schltet sich die Wge utomtisch nch 2 Minuten us.

Gebrauchsanweisung

Tuch bgewischt werden und die Plttform knn in den

Geschirrspüler gestellt werden.

Setzen Sie die Wge nicht Feuer, direktem Sonnenlicht oder

suren Substnzen us.

Lgern Sie die Wge nur, wenn sie trocken ist.

ENTFERNEN SIE

DIE PLATTFORM

1. Hlten Sie den Wgenkörper mit einer Hnd fest und

hlten Sie die Plttform mit der nderen Hnd.

2. Drücken Sie die Plttform vorsichtig nch hinten.

3. Sobld die Plttform bgenommen ist, nehmen Sie sie

b, indem Sie sie nch oben heben.

ACHTUNG: Heben Sie die Plttform niemls n, ohne sie

vorher von der Wge getrennt zu hben. Dies würde den

Artikel beschdigen.

HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie immer die Wge mit einges

KORREKTE ENTSORGUNG DIESES PRODUKTES

Alte Elektrogerte dürfen nicht mehr zusmmen mit dem Restmüll beseitigt

werden, sondern müssen getrennt entsorgt werden. Die Abgbe bei kommunlen

Smmelstellen durch Privtpersonen ist kostenfrei. Die Besitzer von Altgerten

sind verplichtet, die Gerte zu den Smmelstellen zu bringen oder bei einer

entsprechenden Smmlung bzugeben. Mit diesem kleinen persönlichen Aufwnd

trgen Sie dzu bei, dss wertvolle Rohstoe recycelt und Schdstoe gezielt

behndelt werden können.

Gebrauchsanweisung

Änderungen oder Modiiktionen, die nicht usdrücklich von der für die Konformitt verntwortlichen

Prtei genehmigt wurden, können dzu führen, dss die Berechtigung des Benutzers, ds Gert zu

betreiben, erlischt.

Dieses Gert wurde getestet und entspricht den Grenzwerten für ein digitles Gert der Klsse B

gemß Teil 15 der FCCBestimmungen. Diese Grenzwerte sollen einen ngemessenen Schutz gegen

schdliche Störungen in einer Wohnnlge bieten. Dieses Gert erzeugt und verwendet Hochfre-

quenzenergie und knn diese bstrhlen. Wenn es nicht in Übereinstimmung mit den Anweisungen

instlliert und verwendet wird, dnn knn es schdliche Funkstörungen verurschen. Es gibt jedoch

keine Grntie dfür, dss keine Störungen in einer bestimmten Instlltion uftreten. Wenn dieses

Gert ttschlich Störungen beim Rdio- oder Fernsehempfng verurscht, ws durch ds Aus- und

Einschlten des Gerts bestimmt werden knn, dnn sollte der Benutzer versuchen, die Störung

durch eine oder mehrere der folgenden Mßnhmen zu beheben:

• Richten Sie die Empfngsntenne neu us oder verlgern Sie diese.

• Erhöhen Sie den Abstnd zwischen dem Gert und dem Empfnger.

• Schließen Sie ds Gert n eine Steckdose n, die nicht mit dem Empfnger verbunden ist.

1. Retirer l blnce de l'embllge.

Risque d'étouement! Grder les mtériux

d'embllge hors de l portée des jeunes enfnts.

2. Insérer trois piles AAA.

3. Plcez correctement l plte-forme in que l'écrn soit

fcilement visible.

Plcer l blnce sur une surfce plne et ferme - ceci est

essentiel pour une mesure correcte.

Appuyer sur le bouton ON/OFF pour llumer l blnce.

Dès que "0" pprît, l blnce est prête pour l'utilistion.

Si vous plcez un bol sur l blnce vnt de l'llumer, le

poids du bol ser inclus et l'écrn icher "0". Vous pouvez

ensuite mettre vos rticles dns le bol pour un ichge

direct de leur poids.

Lorsque l blnce est en cours d'utilistion et que vous

souhitez utiliser un bol pour l pesée, vous pouvez

simplement plcer un bol sur l blnce et ppuyer sur le

bouton ON/OFF pour l remettre  zéro.

Si vous souhitez remettre l blnce  zéro, ppuyez sur le

bouton ON/OFF.

L blnce peut être redémrrée plusieurs fois pendnt

l'utilistion.

Pour éteindre l blnce, mintenir le bouton ON/OFF enfoncé

pendnt 2 secondes jusqu' ce que l'écrn LCD s'éteigne.

L cpcité de pesge mximle de l blnce est de

5000g. L'écrn icher "Err" si l blnce est surchrgée.

Division de l blnce:

1200g=0,1g/200500g=0,5g/5005000g=1g

L'unité ichée peut être chngée de g/ml  lb/oz et

inversement en poussnt le bouton (8) qui se trouve sur le

bs de l blnce.

Une fois l'unité convertie, elle rester dns ce mode lors de

s prochine utilistion.

AUTOOFF

Allumer l blnce ; lorsque "0" pprît  l'écrn, l blnce

est prête  être utilisée.

Appuyer sur le bouton TIMER pour démrrer le chronomètre.

Appuyer sur le bouton TIMER pour rrêter le chronomètre.

Pour réinitiliser l minuterie, ppuyer sur l touche TIMER

pendnt 2 secondes.

L durée mximle de l minuterie est de 99 minutes.

Le rétroéclirge de l blnce vous ider  surveiller

l'ensemble du processus de brssge.

Après les 30 premières secondes, le rétroéclirge clignoter

pour indiquer l durée de l lorison. L minuterie continuer

 compter et il clignoter  nouveu près 4 minutes lorsque

le temps de préprtion optiml ser écoulé.

Vous pouvez éteindre l blnce  tout moment en ppuynt

sur l touche ON/OFF et en l mintennt enfoncée pendnt

environ 2 secondes jusqu' ce que l'écrn n'iche plus rien.

Ain de prolonger l durée de vie de l btterie, le

rétroéclirge s’éteint utomtiquement si ucune touche

n'est ctionnée ou si ucun poids n'est chngé et si le

minuteur n'est ps réglé.

Si un bouton est ctionné ou si le poids est modiié, le

Pr conséquent, s'il n'y  ps d'ction impliqunt le poids ou

le minuteur, l blnce s'éteindr utomtiquement près

REMPLACEMENT

DES PILES

ENTRETIEN ET

NETTOYAGE

Lorsque "Lo" pprît sur l'écrn, les piles doivent être

remplcées. L blnce nécessite 3 piles AAA.

Le comprtiment  piles est situé sous l blnce.

Pour remplcer les piles, vous devez ouvrir le couvercle et

retirer les piles usgées. Avnt de plcer les nouvelles piles

dns le comprtiment, veuillez vous ssurer que les piles

sont instllées vec l polrité correcte (+) / (-).

Les piles non rechrgebles ne doivent ps être rechrgées.

Les piles rechrgebles doivent être retirées de l'ppreil

vnt d'être rechrgées.

Si l'ppreil doit être hors service pendnt une longue

période, les piles doivent être retirées.

Les bornes d'limenttion ne doivent ps être

court-circuitées.

Remrque: pour éviter de nuire  l'environnement,

débrrssez-vous des piles usgées uprès de votre

revendeur de produits électriques ou  votre point de

collecte de recyclge locl.

Ne ps plonger l blnce dns l'eu.

Seule l plte-forme movible peut ller u lve-visselle.

Ne ps plcer des objets dépssnt 5000g sur l blnce,

u risque de l'endommger.

Eviter tout contct entre l blnce et des liments ou des

cides fortement romtisés / colorés, tels que le zeste

d'grumes, qui pourrient endommger les surfces en pls-

tique. Lorsque de tels rticles sont utilisés, il est recommndé

de recouvrir u prélble l surfce de pesge d'un ppier

sulfurisé ou d'un ilm limentire, puis de l lver / nettoyer

imméditement près.

Le boîtier extérieur de l blnce peut être nettoyé vec

un chion humide et l plte-forme peut être nettoyée u

lve-visselle.

Ne ps exposer l blnce u feu, ux ryons du soleil ou 

des substnces cides.

Rnger l blnce uniquement qund elle est sèche.
